On vole de surprise en surpr... Ah en fait non, tout se déroule comme prévu, i.e. de plus en plus mal et les nigauds de journaleux prennent ça avec décontraction, notamment le bobard lamentable sur les "investissements publics" de mon cul sur la commode.

La startup-nation est en train de mourir de ces investissements à la con, multipliés par trouzaines depuis des lustres, par des ronds-de-cuir trop heureux de se faire beurrer la tartine dans les réunions petit-four qu'ils organisent lors de levées de fonds (publics évidemment) et autres âneries visant à financer la prochaine débilité écocompatible qui va de préférence saboter ce qui marche - le nucléaire en premier, ou engloutir des fortunes dans les farines d'insectes dégueulasses ou autres cloud souverains lunaires qui terminent en gabegie lamentables.

Ces "investissements" sont tellement nombreux que les routes, les ponts français sont en décrépitude, la justice est une blague presque aussi sordide que ses prisons, l'enseignement est devenue une course d'obstacles woke où le "référentiel apprenant" de 12 ans doit épeler correctement fellation mais est infoutu de faire une dictée de 5 lignes sans fautes obscènes ou une règle de trois sans aboutir à du n'importe quoi chimiquement pur.

La France du numérique, en avance il y a 20 ans, accuse maintenant un retard croissant. Le pays qui pondait Ariane, le TGV ou le minitel a depuis pondu le Code Fiscal le plus obèse du monde et enfile les records de tabassage fiscal comme jamais, sous les applaudissements des abrutis gauchistes qui croient encore qu'ainsi, on "fait payer les riches" (qui se sont tous barrés et mis à l'abri).

Un État en faillite, géré par des bras cassés et des minables pareils n'a absolument *rien à faire* dans des dépenses d'investissements, surtout quand il affiche des déficits à faire pâlir Madoff. Vu leur track-record de prostituées sous coke, on devrait interdire à tous ces peigne-culs de seulement s'approcher d'une ligne budgétaire.

Même géré en affaires courantes, avec 0 changement, l'État s'en sortirait mieux qu'avec leurs gesticulations grotesques. Ce ne sont pas des recettes exceptionnelles dont la France a besoin, ce sont de sanctions exceptionnelles contre ces fossoyeurs du pays, et des coupes exceptionnelles dans les dépenses positivement honteuses qu'ils nous ont empilées depuis un demi-siècle.

It was a struggle for Arian- holding back his silently possessive urges, and even more difficult to simply just... not break from the confines of his pocket dimension and wreak havoc on the multiverse once more.

He was stronger, once. More violent. More... like a dictator.

He had the world at his beck and call.

Then he was locked up, had time to reflect- to read, to understand.

... and realised he hadn't really ever been happy. He had been caught up in the addictive power, but never given time to himself.

...

That... changed, one day.

Love at first sight wasn't a thing one could experience- not really. It was adorable to think of in theory, but in reality, that didn't just... happen

But there was fascination there. Curiosity. And concern, too.

A much smaller monster who had seen some of the worst that the Underground had to offer and then was ripped out and placed into an even worse situation.

A pawn to a false god.

And how it made Arian's rage boil.

The fact that Nightmare dared act like he was anything of a God. As if he was even slightly deserving of that title.

Arian wasn't a god.

He was a creature.

Something beyond mortal comprehension, watering himself down for the sake of not breaking the minds of any who viewed him.

He had done too many bad things to be considered something to be believed in.

(Ataraxia knows how much he detests the concept of being worshipped or worshipping someone in the first place- not that he would ever impress his own opinion onto others or disrespect their beliefs.)

But Nightmare?

Nightmare was so much worse.

It was the fourth time Dust returned to him, bloody and wounded from Nightmare's recent bout of "punishing Killer", that Arian decided something needed to stop.

And for the very first time, he broke the seal to his world.

Petite comédie québécoise vraiment très sympathique où le fait de ne pas tuer est traité comme un handicap par la famille vampire. Même si on sait où ça va, les personnages sont suffisamment construits pour nous captiver et il y a quelques scènes hilarantes.

Ali is a Texas-based synesthetic artist with a love for storytelling and turning life experiences into art. She is the producer of the audio dramas Dining in the Void, Human Error, and is working on several upcoming shows such as Written in Stardust and Fallen Memories. They are a composer for shows such as Dining in the Void, Someone Dies in this Elevator, SHIFTS (Season Two) and HUBRIS.
