Apt Apartment size for a couple
Though there cannot be any fixed dimensions to state apt apartment size for a couple as different people may have varying expectations from an apartment they wish to rent together. However, there sure can be a basic apartment size that can ensure ample comfort and living conditions and so can be termed as perfect for couples. And this is what we are going to explore in this blog post. Here Colive reviews the apt apartment size for a couple but do remember variations are possible based upon your personal choice and circumstances. So, let’s get started:
Colive reviews the significant factors that couples must consider while choosing an apartment size that’s best for them. Read on:
Extra expense
Extra room means extra expense. For most renters, the decision of choosing the right size apartment has as much to do with income as with actual space. So you need to think twice before opting for a two bedroom apartment as an extra room may not be a suitable option, weighing the extra rent that you will have to dole out per month.
Extra space
Either you can spend more to get extra space or you can clear out unnecessary stuff from your luggage to make extra space. If you think that two people staying together will lead to piling up of both of your stuff in case of one bedroom then it won’t be so only if you purge the extras.
Extra breathing space
Extra breathing space does not necessarily mean an extra room. It just means a space where you can relax and rejuvenate. And Colive has very innovatively solved the case of extra space by incorporating additional spaces for tenants like terrace lounge, gaming room, cinema room etc. So enjoy extra breathing space at minimal rent.
So, do you still feel the need for extra room? Worry not! If you opt for Colive rental accommodations in Bangalore for couples then you would find the room spacious enough to comfortably accommodate two persons and their belongings. What are you waiting for? The apt size couple apartments are only at Colive. Grab your deal soon. Happy Coliving!!

Personal: New GenZ Friend Arrived Safe
I had to stay up for a Thursday morning appointment to meet my new Doctor.  He seems nice and we vibe okay so far.  We just focused on blood work today.  I'm going to go back once a month for the next three months to focus on one area each since my case file is basically the collected works of Thomas Aquinas in size and even with my beloved previous GP's help, no one can get up to speed all at once.  It turned out we'd missed a test a couple of weeks ago and I needed an extra vial taken today.  All of this took the whole morning for obvious reasons.
Which would have been fine except a very nice addition to the friemnd group was arriving today and the ride to go pick them up fell through.  Techie Millenial called me and rightly so, so we went to pick them up.  This is the person who visted around last Diwali and fitted in right away.  Seriously, they are a delight and weren't safe in their state any more.  Trans Overground railroad got them out and they have an apartment with a roomate I am told is cool lined up and are staying with Tecie and Art millenial for a week until they can move into new the new digs.
The problem is the pain situation has been escalating to the point where Extreme pain wakes me and then i have to figure out how to roll over with only 2/3rds of my body working and the "I just got run over by a bus" level pain involved in shifting positions, which does not make for restful sleep.  This is the kind of pain able bodied people would be in the hospital for, but here I am at home trying to shuffle around and somehow feed myself and beasts.  (hospital would be no good.  I don't want a drug seeking note in my file and the kind of medication this would require would make me trip balls.  It's a big risk, because people in my family with this reaction to opiods also respond this way to anti-psychotics.  I've never tried them, but you get someone with extreme paranoia, another side effect of the opiod reaction, who is having an obvious psychotic break, they are apt to give them anti-psychotics, which is a viscious circle.  It was lucky they summoned me to the east Coast my Mother's second to last time in the ICU or they would have shipped her to a psch ward instead of tapering her meds, at which point she was fine except for the whole lungs failing thing.  New doctor wouldn't know to stop them and they might not listen to Techie Millenial who is Officially in Charge if I can't speak for myself.  Note to self: Next month explain my weird inherited response to opiods to New Doctor).  Before you start suggesting things, trust me, I've tried all the mitigation I can reasonably do.  What I really need is accupuncture which I can't afford.  Instead i just have to endure thisand keep chipping away until i'm back to my usual pain scale 6-7 which is a functional level of pain.  This in not.
Bonus points?  My right front break started to grind while I was taking Techie and new GenZ back to their place.  I have no money except the gas money they slipped me and an emergancy tener for meds.  (I have my food OTC left and no EBT even.)  I've scheduled with honest Mechanic for May 1st.  I can already see next month's bill money draining away, but that is a next month problem.  Sigh.
Today would have been a great day to order delivery food.  Instead I stood weeping in the kitchen because there was an electrical issue and the air fryer wouldn't work.  (Squirrel solved it).
I am so glad we got GenZ out of that hell state though. They never knew how tense and constantly braced for attack they were until they came here.  I know that feeling.  My whole body used to relax whenever I crossed the Rockies and the PNW has felt like home since I first stepped off the train all those decade ago.

Benefits of Row Houses in the Real Estate Market of Mumbai
These are more affordable than single-standalone villas.
It offers much more space than an average flat.
This is often placed in gated societies with shared amenities.
Why Andheri Offers Promising Row House Properties Row houses in Andheri are located in quiet places in a city, which would give people a suburban feel without losing easy access to the conveniences within an urban setting. This is for families looking for a spacious, affordable home.
Penthouse Apartments: A Taste of Luxury
What Are Penthouses? Penthouses are high-end homes that are installed atop buildings. They have views that cannot be beaten and housing features that no one can rival.
Prestigious Penthouses of Mumbai Unique Features: They will have rooftop gardens, private terraces, and classy interiors. Exclusivity: Penthouses are scarce because very few plots can accommodate them.
Why Andheri Skyline is the perfect place to live in a penthouse Penthouses in the Andheri skyline offer panoramic views and the area's busy nightlife, coupled with connectivity, make it a prime location for luxury seekers. Many penthouses in Andheri West offer stunning sea views and proximity to high-end restaurants and shopping malls.
Mixed-Use Commercial-Residential Properties
The Rise of Mixed-Use Developments in Mumbai Mixed-use properties bring together residential and commercial spaces, combining the convenience of being close to work and amenities.
Why Mixed-Use Properties Are in Demand in Andheri
Andheri is one area in India where media and IT companies have thrived. In return, there has been growing mixed-use development activities here. Such properties save professionals much commuting time and have an equable lifestyle.
Things to Consider While Choosing a Property in Mumbai
Budget Shortlist your requirements and evaluate your financial capacity to choose between the types of properties. Studio apartments form a budgetary outlet, whereas villas and penthouses can cater to premium buyers.
Location Mumbai being sprawling, location forms an essential consideration. Andheri is a prime location because of metro connectivity, proximity to the airport, and living style.
Lifestyle Needs While some people may want spacious villas or row houses, some of the young professionals would settle for studio apartments or mixed-use properties.
Conclusion
Mumbai’s real estate market offers a plethora of options, ranging from compact studio apartments to luxurious villas and penthouses. Andheri, as one of Mumbai’s most sought-after neighborhoods, caters to a diverse range of buyers and renters. Whether you’re looking for affordability, luxury, or a blend of both, the right property type depends on your lifestyle, budget, and future goals.
With this knowledge, you can better decide which type of property best meets your needs and will be able to invest in a great Mumbai property or an Andheri property that suits your requirements. The city is still changing, and real estate here reflects the vibrancy and variety in living here, just like the culture of the people.

People should realize that the Vermont purchase being fed to lonesome , and then this Portugal “place” that she was pushing is a “house” is also now mentioned. None of that is normal for a private celeb. That’s how everyone should know this is fake. Same with the wedding that was pushing by lonesome too .And we know it’s not a house because she posted it and it’s clearly a little apt and we found the building.//
God the misinformation these anons have. The information about his VT house came from a font on LSA - not a plant to TLQ. It was known about in private groups long before it came out. How do they know the apartment which is in a big block wasn’t rented until they found a ‘house’. There were still packing boxes in the room last time we saw. As for a little apartment will some of the apartments they showed are 2 or 3 bedrooms and worth over €1million so the little apartment is worth more the delulus could ever afford. We don’t know the true size of the apartment not that it matters as Chris confirmed they have a place there.
Also the house buying came from PT journalist on a couple of occasions as early as last year.🙄
They just make shit up it’s so ridiculous

Several reasons
A: the cost. Higher wages decreases the difference between rich and poor. The upper middle class are the ones most affected by this.
B: Guaranteed health care puts a lot of big insurance companies on a serious diet.
C: Food security isn't that far from reality. If you have a plugin, you can eat for under $50/month. It's duller than watching grass grow. Oatmeal, beans, rice.
D: High quality child care. I'd like to see a requirement that all new neighbourhoods have at least one double sized lot per block. One of them cannot be developed, other than fenced, and set up for childcare. If the owner of the double lot is running a child care out of their home, their taxes are based on a single lot. This would set up a raft of places that took 5-10 kids.
E: Housing is a thorny one. Not sure of the best approach here. Single detached housing takes huge amounts of land, and the resulting low density makes mass transit less workable. I suspect that some form of row housing or well made apartment blocks, but also require decent sized parks within a few minute walk. For singles and couples, apartment complexes are good. I think kids need open space and unstructured play time. If 50% of the land was left open, the rest could be 4 floor housing blocks that still may be cheap enough to be affordable.
Too much of hte housing market is owned by landlords. I'd like to see a tax change, where you paid some kind of constant tax rate on the first million dollars of real estate, then a 10% tax surcharge on the 2nd million a 20% surcharge on 3-4 million 25% on 5-8 million. The idea being that big corporations couldn't own large emounts of real estate.
We also need relaxed shared ownership laws. England seems to do this quite well. You own a chunk of building, and it's your problem to maintain it. Not sure of the details. But they don't have condo associations.
Housing and wages interact. If you double the minimum wage, you suddently have people who have more money at the end of the month. People where 4 guys share a 2 room apt now have money to go apartment hunting. So rents go up. I would expect most of the increased wages to be soaked up by rent increases.
F: Good schools is another thorny one. Good schools require parental participation too. Some interesting work in Harlem on this. I taught school or 20 years. I would not tolerate the kinds of schools I hear about in the U.S. now.
The final problem is that we will still need police. But we need a different kind of police. We need police that don't regard the public as all being suspects.
Tumblr media
We know when people's are met and they have some money left over they are less likely to turn to crime. Why don't we try that for a while?

12.03pm. Bullseye my loves.....?
Blushing shyly grin.
I also had a lightbulb moment. To move carefully too.
An apt must be at the very least clean & quiet. The ones that had seemed ideal have reviews that were scary in some cases.
It seems I need to tour about six to see what's normal & what to expect. I mean an apartment isn't ideal for me in the first place. Only experience with was bad. But I had hopes that new places would be good. Sigh. Especially when up in the lake area & away from the metropolitan areas. Up into the farm & such areas! Sigh. Shortest lease possible, quiet, clean. Light. Size/price.
So. I give this to God again. Because I am not going to move for any amount of time where I feel unsafe. Been here. Done that. Not gonna again.
But as soon as I'm in your . . . . .arms. bye bye world! I'm gonna be in paradise! Blushing shyly bashful grin.
I'd rather rent a house but that's not a short term option. And with the economy, out of my league.
And as the cramps remind me...
I have to pinch myself because I feel like you . . . . . are outta my league, & in the stratosphere. I just.. my body hurts, my emotions are🤪🥴😳🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ & I need .. your control. Because I am sensitive & kinda scattered.
Just.. fyi... you . . . . . thoughts, feelings, words, actions... affect me. Bowing head. You enflamed me, ignite me, make me curl up in a ball, & make me wanna bury my face in your hearts.....& never show my face to anyone else ever again.
It is you . . . . .
Soul connections.
Only your . . . . . & God's opinions matter to me.
I am the crocus.. snowdrop.. hibiscus.. daffodil.. rose... ..... I feel ... fed. Watered. Moved into the light. And yeah, sometimes smacked
but maybe that's to reenergize.. humble.. focus.. & remind me?
Breathe. Relax. Focus. Calm. Endure. Repeat.

[The finger is to..ahem. Too perfect for focus & f you ahem. Blushing beet red grin. ]
Ok. Deep breath.
Gotta get a couple of.chores done then shower & dress quickly!
I love you . . . . .!!!!!
Beyond measure.
Always.

Apartments For Rent in Oakland in the $600 Range
Whether you are a couple, a family, or a single person, if you are looking for a place to call home, Oakland is a great place to start. It offers a lot for its residents, including access to highways and public green spaces. In addition, the weather is great, and the city has a high median household income. These factors are the reasons that Oakland is one of the hottest destinations for young professionals and families.
Tumblr media
While Oakland is not the cheapest place in the Bay Area, it does have a few options that offer cheap apartments. In fact, you can find a 3 bedroom apartment Oakland with hardwood flooring, on-site laundry, and a garage for less than $600 per month.
However, while these apartments may be cheap, they may also be far from downtown and amenities. It may be a good idea to check out the best neighborhoods for your budget. The most affordable neighborhoods include Harrington, Fremont, and Jefferson. However, the most expensive neighborhoods in Oakland include Prescott and Port Oakland.
A 2-bedroom home with a large living room and skylight is among the best apts for rent in Oakland in $600. In addition to a full bath, there is also a laundry room and on-site garage parking.
About Oakland
Oakland has an incredible array of green spaces and parks to explore. These areas are great for biking, running, and walking. You can also enjoy art cocktails at Cafe Von Kleef or tiki drinks at The Kon-Tiki. Also, you can choose from a number of great restaurants, such as the popular Bar Rafael.
The average Oakland apartment is a little over $2,800 per month. Due to the high demand for housing in the area, the price is also likely to keep going up. However, Oakland's rent prices are reasonable considering the city's location and opportunities.
Tumblr media
The best Oakland apartments may be in older buildings that need some work. They may also have certain restrictions, including no co-signers or guarantors. However, if you are a responsible renter, you can find a great deal.
The best apartments for rent in Oakland are likely the ones that have a walkable route to everything you need. You may also take help from raj properties to know about good deals and avoid the hassle of comparing apartments. You'll also want to take the size of the apartment into consideration, as it plays a big role in the price.
Conclusion
The best apartments for rent in Oakland may also be the ones that are a little out of town. If you are looking for a place to call your own, you can check out apartments in the Cleveland Heights or Clorox neighborhoods.
In addition, you can find a nice place to stay for under $2,600 in Oakland's Fruitvale Station neighborhood. While the best apts for rent in Oakland in $600 price range may not be as impressive as the best apartments for rent in San Francisco, there are still some great options to choose from

Midge hiding out at Lenny’s apt
Moishe and Shirley are more than happy to take the kids after Joel and Mei's wedding, and Midge watches her ex and his new wife ride off into the sunset before helping with cleanup.
She kisses her children and tells them she'll see them in a couple of days before she lets her parents know where she'll be, and then takes a cab back into the city.
Lenny is waiting for her at his apartment; not big like her apartment is big, but a decent size. Two bedroom, and a lot of natural light, overlooking Washington Square Park.
He smiles at her gently as he threads his fingers with hers, tugging her inside and into his arms.
She wishes she'd been able to bring him as her date, but Joel had completely forbid it, and it was his wedding, so she'd gone solo. Feeling awkward, and longing for her favorite dance partner. She'd distracted herself by looking after the kids, and helping Shirley. By helping Mei with her dress when she'd needed it.
Being in his arms now feels like coming home.
"How was it?" he asks gently as guides her to the couch an then moves to make some drinks.
Midge shrugs and grins. "Beautiful. It was a beautiful wedding."
He wanders back over and hands her a martini, laden with three olives, sitting down with his own glass of whiskey. "But."
She sips the martini and sighs. "It was tough. Watching Joel move on in such a real way, by myself."
"I'm sorry I couldn't be there, Sweetheart," he says.
Midge nods, glancing at him. "Moishe and Shirley have the kids. Susie agreed to give me a couple of days off...can I stay here with you?"
Lenny sets his drink down and slides an arm around her. "You can stay for however long you want."
She rests against him, closing her eyes. "Thank you."

Update: it got bigger
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this construction/homeless area has everything you need to be a homeless sim successfully
if you set the lot to public park or to restaurant or whatever (i made sure it qualifies as like 11 lot types, it can be a cafe or a gym or all kinds of things) anyway you can set it to a public type and live there as a homeless sim while you pay tiny bills on some undeveloped little 15x20 you never visit, if you want to start a rags to riches that way -- i like to do that, upgrade the size of my empty home lot a couple times, and then move into different situations around this neighborhood while i slowly build my dream house on my home lot - i do it in chunks:
save; do a big round of building; this raises my bills; i move my sim from the neighborhood studio apt into the apartment building that has a couple of 2 bed apartments; after the next big round of building i'll move into the neighborhood house with the nice garage. Then i finally move out of this neighborhood into my dream home, but maybe i set this lot to Cafe and go on dates there, or something
after all, it's kind of a dope little neighborhood
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sims 4 - I built a whole ass little neighborhood
Tumblr media
It’s got an apartment building, a house with a proper garage, and a studio apartment above a little bookstore/cafe. You know how random sims will come over and do things like empty the trash or do laundry? Well, there’s a laundromat for them to do that in, and a little corner store with vending machines so visiting sims can actually purchase a snack or a drink. Or even medicine and pet food.
There’s a large gym with a spa and massage room, a clothing boutique, a photography studio, and a park. The park has a community theater, with a karaoke machine and a microphone on stage so it will get used and people might even gather to watch.
The cafe, and clothing store are designed such that, technically, if you wanted, you could set the lot to retail and run either one as a functioning business.
The way the lot should work is, you move 4 sims in. You use the lock door function to keep each sim using only their own residence, and to make sure none of the tons of random sims that frequently seem to visit all the time in the Sims 4 trespass onto private property. Instead they will wander around and buy a snack at the corner store and work out in the gym and make themselves a coffee drink at the cafe and go sit at the laptop I left on one of the tables. Hopefully the whole thing helps it feel like a functioning neighborhood. I selected the teen hangout and stray cat lot traits to help round out the neighborhood vibes.
There are two apartments with 2 bedrooms each, the two bedroom house, and the studio apartment. When this lot is placed, the second bedroom of each residence is set up as an office. work. or hobby space. So three of your four sims have room to get married and have children, or grow in other ways, getting career essential items and specializing their work space etc.
8 sims max per lot means, for example, the sim in the house could marry a random sim and have two children, while at the same time, the sims from the studio and one of the apartments could move in together and a new sim could move into the vacant residence and start dating but not living with the sim in the other apartment. Or you could have 4 sims become single moms. There are all kinds of permutations that let each sim grow their lives.
right now I tend to see between 50 and 100 downloads of my builds, but I hope more people find this one on the gallery under user Helix369 or #neighborhood and have an enjoyable play experience with it

When architect couple, Neha & Gaurav, moved to a new apartment the biggest challenge they faced was to make their home into a piece of work that reflected their ideology and style. It turned out beautifully- just look at the entrance door to the apt.
Tumblr media
In the foyer is the other side of the entrance door, plus a gallery wall.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They have the most unusual furniture- here’s a fabulous original wall sculpture in the living room.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The combination living/dining room has bench seating, a retro table, and so much to see.
Tumblr media
This large space has been arranged into several seating areas plus a dining area.
Tumblr media
The gallery wall in the living room- LOVE the colorful sideboard.
Tumblr media
Details of the living room- a silhouette lamp post sticker is decorated with wall hangings and a clock. An interesting closet in the hall is surrounded by a gallery.
Tumblr media
From the breakfast bar, the blue kitchen cabinets are visible.
Tumblr media
The balcony is just outside of the breakfast bar.
Tumblr media
Making the most of a small balcony- bright yellow, it’s got a place to sit, as well as a space to plant.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This looks like it may have come with the apt., and it’s very cool- closed, it’s a chalkboard, but it pulls down to a full-size table.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not only is this wall fabulously interesting, but it’s actually a Murphy bed for guests.
Tumblr media
In this apt., they’ve found a space for everything- even a colorful play station.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The master bedroom is a bright, happy blue with a checkered floor.
Tumblr media
In a corner of the master, they’ve set up a nursery.
Tumblr media
A playful en suite master bath matches the decor of the bedroom. What a colorful, creative, apt.

Summary: After moving into a apartment building, Y/n finds a new friend in the stray cat in the alley behind her. She doesn’t realize someone has been admiring her kindness to the animal from afar. Sometimes a small act of kindness leads to a happiness that can last a life time.
Genre: fluff, romance, strangers to lovers, neighbor!au, fem reader
Living in a tiny rundown apartment building was not my first choice. Nor was it my second or third or fourth or fifth or two hundredth. But being a struggling student living on my own for the first time didn’t leave me with many other options. The room was cheap and had all the amenities I needed. There was a bus line to the college only a short walk away. An added bonus was the fried chicken place just a few blocks away from the building.
But, the heating often cut out. My landlord was less than kind. The couple living above me procreated like rabbits and the ceiling did nothing to muffle the noise. The neighbors next door were quiet for the most part. I had yet to meet the tenants in the rooms on either side.
With the spring semester just around the corner, students flocked to the class registers. Spots filled up quickly leaving me with early morning classes. What a bummer. I was not the biggest morning person. I preferred to stay up at night and sleep until I physically couldn't anymore.
Sleepily pulling my shoes on, I grabbed my backpack and walked out the door. The sun had just risen and a still orange pink glow was cast over the small cramped street. A small sound had me turning my head towards the alley next to my apartment building.
Having a few minutes to spare before my bus arrived, I peeked around the corner searching for the sound. Just as I was about to turn around, a cat peeked its head out from behind the building’s dumpster. It slinked around the metal container, its thin body shifting from side to side as it walked.
“Hi, there little guy!”
Slowly and carefully I approached the stray. It had spotted gray and white fur practically clinging onto its bones. It watched me with fear in its dull blue eyes. The small creature flinched as I reached out my hand for it to smell. It eyed me for a few moments before backing away and hiding under the dumpster.
“Okay bud...that’s okay. When I come back I’ll bring you a little treat!”
As I was walking away, a sound from above made me jump. Looking up I saw a window on my story close, long slender fingers pulling it in. Thinking nothing of it I turned around and made my way to the bus stop. In my mind I made a mental note to pick something up to give to the little cat in the alley.
The shop bell rang as I exited the establishment. It was already beginning to get dark and the streetlights were casting a yellow golden glow in circles on the cramped street. Plastic bag in hand I walked back towards home, the scent of fresh fried chicken floating up to my nose.
As I approached the building instead of going in I walked passed and turned down into the alley. The street lamp cast a small glow allowing me to see through some of the dark shadows.
“Here kitty kitty! Tsk, tsk, tsk,” Hearing a can roll across the pavement I saw the thin feline emerge from under the trash container. Its ears twitched and its nose rose in the air smelling the fried food I carried. Crouching to its level I stayed in the lightest part of the alley and pulled out a piece of the fried chicken I had picked up only a few minutes ago.
Intriguided by the food, the cat slowly inched its way to the oustretched snack. It sniffed the chicken before it’s pale pink nose brushed over my finger taking in my scent. Staying perfectly still I let it nibble on the chicken for a moment. “You’re too cute.” Seeing the cat begin to struggle with the food, I pulled it back and starting tearing it into pieces for him.
“What should I call you little guy?”
The cat’s fear of me seemed to have disappeared as he snacked on the chicken. Hesitantly, I reached out and stroked his head only receiving a tiny flinch from the animal. “You’re quite small aren’t you?” The cat continued to eat the chicken with vigor. Grabbing a bottle of water and a paper plate from the restaurant, I poured some for the cat to drink. “How about Makki?”
The gray cat already looked much happier than when I had first seen him this morning. As I reached out to stroke his fur, he did not flinch away. “Do you like chicken Makki?” He let out a gravely meow before turning back to his grand meal.
My fingers felt the grooves of his ribs as I pet his side. I smiled feeling Makki’s rough tongue over my other hand. My attention was dragged away from the cat when I heard the scuff of a shoe not far away. At the entrance of the alley looked a boy maybe my age. His body faced the building but his eyes stayed trained on me over the black mask he wore.
His shaggy brown hair had a golden glint under the street light. His hands were tucked firmly in his jean pockets giving him a cold sort of look. Lifting my hand from Makki’s back I shyly waved to the boy. As if he came out of a trance, the boy walked away from the alley on his resumed path.
Choosing to ignore the awkward encounter (I admit that it would be weird to see a girl just sitting in an alley with a cat), I watched Makki finish off the pieces I tore. He rubbed up against my legs and let me scratched his ears.
“Okay, Makki! I’ve got an essay to write. I’ll bring you some breakfast tomorrow, okay buddy?” With a sad meow, he tried to follow me out of the alley but sat at the entrance and watched me walk into the building.  I watched him list his head from the alley and gave him a little wave goodbye before going in for the night.
After a few months of taking care of him, Makki was basically my own. Every morning and every night without fail I would stop by and spend time with Makki. When I could afford it, I brought him chicken. He seemed to always love that.
As finals inched closer, I couldn’t see him as much as I wanted to. Studying took up most of my nights and I was forced inside my tiny apartment, headphones only half blocking out the noise from the faulty pipes and my upstairs neighbors.
One night I glanced over at the clock seeing it was only 10:00 pm. “I have some left overs I’m sure Makki would like.” Aware that I needed a break, I got up and stretched before heating up some leftover dinner for my little cat. Slowly he had gotten to a healthy size and I could no longer see his ribs under his spotted gray and white coat. I didn’t have to keep feeding him, but Makki seemed like my only friend as of late.
Grabbing a bowl and filling it with water I ventured downstairs and into the lobby. A slightly familiar face was entering the building doors, keys in hand. He looked up, our eyes meeting. Those dark, almost black, eyes looked familiar, reminding me of a puppy. The brunette’s eyes widened in recognition seeing me. The boy from the street. He had a handsome face, the light locks highlighting the angles and tone of his features. In all honesty he was more than likely the most handsome man I had ever seen.
He looked me up and down before his soft eyes fell onto the dishes in my hand. When his eyes returned he gave me a small smile and a hesitant wave. Without another word he walked past me up the stairs.
Using my shoulder to open the door, the cool spring night air greeted me. My shoes scraped against the downhill pavement as I turned the corner into the alley. To my surprise, Makki sat in the middle of the backstreet, drinking from a saucer full of milk. Beside the bowl was a plate with little pieces of fried food. Inching closer, I saw it was fish.
Someone had already fed him.
“Hey, buddy!” Makki greeted me with a friendly meow brushing up against my legs. “Looks like someone already fed you, huh?” I asked in confusion. No one had ever shown interest in him before. Why had they started to take care of Makki now?
Pursing my lips, I set down the dishes and watched Makki eat and drink, petting him occasionally. “Their supper is a little but better than mine, huh?” He only responded my digging in more to the fish. “I’ll bring you chicken next time, Makki.” I watched him eat the food before the slender cat climbed into my lap, begging for me to pet him.
It was getting late and Makki was practically falling asleep in my lap. I had already asked my landlord if I could bring him inside, but Mr. Kwon hated pets. Carefully putting Makki on the makeshift bed I had made him out of a thrown out chair, I brushed myself off before looking at the mostly clean dishes on the ground.
Logically, whoever fed Makki would have to come back for the dishes. Finding a semi clean piece of paper and grabbing the pen in my pocket I wrote a little note to the kind soul who helped out my little cat. ‘Thank you for taking care of Makki! It means a lot. - Apt.306B’. Placing the note in the dry milk saucer, I left the alley to go back to my essay.
For the next few nights every time I went down to fed Makki, a bowl of milk and usually a small plate of food was already there. Curiosity eating me up, I decided to catch Makki’s mystery feeder.
The next night, forgoing my term paper, I parked myself at my window overlooking the alley. Finally the sun went down and I watched from my slightly air conditioned perch for the kind soul feeding my feline child. Just as I was losing hope a head of light brown hair rounded the corned into the back alley, a bowl of milk in hand.
“I GOT HIM! YES!” I cheered. “I got you! I got you!” I sang dancing around. Rushing out the door, I took the stairs two at a time just to burst out the lobby doors onto the street. Out of breath but with a smile I rounded the corner, hand holding me steady on the brick wall of the building.
“So it was you!” I said happily, scaring the boy crouched down next to Makki. Those same dark puppy like eyes looked up at me in surprise. He seemed at a loss for words, frozen, long slender fingers over over the cat’s head. “I never would have guessed! I mean that day in the lobby, maybe, but it just didn’t cross my mind.”
The boy continued to stare at me, less in shock now, but the expression I could not decipher. “Um...I’m from apartment 306.” I smiled seeing Maki next to the boy drinking the white treat. Giving him a kind smile, I reached out my hand for him to shake.
Shyly, he took my hand and shook it. “Yeah...I know.” Under the yellow glow of the street light I looked over his handsome features once more. “I’m...uh...I’m 304.”
I couldn’t help but laugh. After all this time, this was how I met my next door neighbor. “Finally I get to meet you. I’ve been wondering who was living next door.” The boy seemed to relax, letting out a small laugh. “What’s your name?”
He seemed surprised as I moved to sit down next to him. Makki climbed into my lap and on instinct I started scratching his ears. “Seungmin, Kim Seungmin. And you?”
“Y/n L/n.”
I laughed as he awkwardly moved to shake my hand again. “He’s really a good cat.” Seungmin said petting Makki’s gray fur. I nodded and turned to see Seungmin already looking at me.
“Why did you start feeding him by the way?”
The handsome boy shrugged and rubbed the back of his neck. “This is going to sound way creepy. I swear it was a coincidence.” Urging him to continue with a smile, I continued stroking Makki’s head. Occasionally my arm brushed up against Seungmin’s as it moved. “I actually saw you from my window. Then we ran into each other on the street that night.”
“That still doesn’t answer my question Seungmin.” I would be lying if I said that his smile didn’t make my heart skip a beat. It melted even more seeing him pet the almost sleeping cat in my lap.
“Yeah about that.” His long finger reached up and scratched his brow before returning to Makki’s ears. “That night I just thought you were really, really pretty. I liked seeing how kind you were to the cat and watching you play with him.” His hand accidentally brushed mine and his cheeks reddened. They darkened even more when I didn’t pull away.
“Go on,”
“One day you stopped coming. I figured something came up because you cared about the cat so much. So, I just tried feeding him. I got scratched more than a few times in the beginning.” Seungmin laughed, instinctively rubbing his arms where Makki must have nicked him. “Eventually he warmed up to me and I saw why you loved him so much. Then you left me that note. It was by far the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.”
“Well you certainly are not what I expected to find when I wanted to search for Makki’s secret milk source.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever bought so much milk.”
The two of us laughed and continued to sit and talk in the alleyway. “Thank you again, for feeding him while I had term stuff.” Seungmin shrugged and looked over at me.
“It was nothing.” It was hard to stifle the laugh at his attempt of being nonchalant. “You know, I could talk to Mr. Kwon about letting you bring Makki into the building...”
My eyes widened and I instinctively hugged my cat to my chest. “Really! You would do that? Wait- how would you even do that. That man has zero soul. Like no soul at all. Completely soulless.”
He chuckled at my joke, brown hair blowing gently in the night breeze. “I have my ways. If I do...would you do something for me?” His bright smile lit up the night watching me nod excitedly. “Would you like to have dinner with me tomorrow?”
Seungmin seemed to hold his breath waiting for my answer. “Are you asking me or are you saying that is your condition for talking to Mr. Kwon?” Seungming squinted his eyes and looked off into the distance for a moment in thought.
“Oh.....you’re right.......You will have dinner with me tomorrow.”
“Woah, slow down there, buddy. I barely know you!”
“Arrrrghhh,” Seungmin groaned covering his face and lying on the cement in frustration. I couldn’t help but laugh at his vexation. “Why is asking you out so hard?”
“I’m just teasing. Of course I’ll get dinner with you.” With a sigh of relief, Seungmin sat up with a smile. “With a face like that who spends that much milk money on someone else’s cat, how could I not want to go out with you?” Seungmin helped me up from the ground, holding onto my hand even when I was standing.
“Good. Cause I was very nervous you’d say no.”
“Look at me. I’ve fallen for the milk man,” Seungmin groaned at my terrible joke but kept out hands intertwined as we walked back into the building with Makki under my arm. I had never been filled with more joy than in that moment.

THE TELLUS APT. - TUMBLR EXLUSIVE [Basegame | City Living | Get Together]
In Latin Tellus means Earth. This masculine cozy home is perfect for an urban bachelor or a couple who love pretty much a masculine style. Very rustically decorated with cool black and white prints. Kitchen provides a wonderful backsplash and sure a cozy dining area. Chill or grill on the balcony. Yeah, it’s very cozy to sit and sip a coffee of your choice. But the bath is actually the real eye-catcher. A mix between concrete, wood with a good splash of yellow color to boost your Sim's sunny mood in the morning.

I Have Met My Destiny (In Quite a Similar Way) - Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - abery
Working title for this one was “some unholy combination of vampires and ABBA” and that feels apt
-
While Henry prided himself on his ability to keep up with the times, there were some ways in which Abe knew he would never really change.
The parts of himself he didn’t modify for display to the world but which he could not help but adhere to—the way he couldn’t stand for cruelty to those unable to stand up for themselves, the way he remained insatiably curious about the world in spite of everything, his love for books and music and theater (“when done well,” he’d argue)—these were the things Abe had grown to love about him. These things were the reason Abe put up with Henry’s obsessive technology updates and his frivolously ever-changing wardrobe and the new slang he insisted Abe at least learn the meaning of.
They were definitely the reason Abe put up with Henry’s compulsive reorganization of the library.
The library was hypothetically for both of them, but it was very much Henry’s pride and joy, and the only real indulgence of the “past” he allowed himself on a regular basis. After all, he argued, literature didn’t get old, it simply became classic (Abe had not required the rationalization but had nodded along with Henry, anyway; it hadn’t been for his benefit, really).
It was the only room the cleaning staff was told to leave alone, as Henry saw to its maintenance himself, dusting the built-in, floor-to-ceiling shelves, checking the climate-controlled cases, and forever shuffling and reshuffling the books around.
There were first editions and signed copies—all bought by and signed to Henry himself, of course—that were left in their locked cases for safekeeping, taken out only under special circumstances (Henry didn’t much believe in putting things on a pedestal just because they were old—if they fell apart, they weren’t worth keeping around, anyway—but these were special, often from writers Henry had known personally, had been friends with, and they were some of the only mementos he allowed himself), but all the other books were fair game.
Henry would rearrange things when he was having a bad day, or when he was feeling nostalgic, or when he simply felt like it was time for a change, and it drove Abe up the wall. He never knew how to find a book in his own home. The books special to him—fewer in number than Henry’s, but a respectable amount—were also left as sacrosanct; everything else, though…
To date, Henry had organized the books alphabetically by title (forwards and backwards), alphabetically by author (forwards and backwards), chronologically (by publication date, by the author’s birthdate, and by the date Henry had first read them), by subject (alphabetically and by level of interest to Henry specifically), by color, by size, and once by Dewey Decimal Classification (that one had taken quite a bit, and Abe had let Henry be for the duration; it hadn’t been a good couple of days).
Henry said that it helped to clear his mind, but Abe suspected there were times Henry just enjoyed being surrounded by words. It certainly seemed to put him in a good mood, in any case, which sometimes resulted in another of Abe’s favored habits of Henry’s: singing.
It was a difficult one to catch; Henry rarely did it if he knew anyone was within earshot—and thanks to his vampiric senses, he usually knew—but here and there, Abe had managed to catch Henry off guard. He blessed the invention of headphones for this, if nothing else; when wearing them, Henry tended to get swept up in whatever he was listening to and would sometimes sing along without realizing Abe had come into range.
Abe would guess Henry had headphones on right now, as it happened, since Abe could hear him belting all the way from the kitchen.
Smiling to himself, Abe shrugged out of his coat and dropped his keys on the kitchen table. Henry had only just begun his latest reorganization effort when Abe had left a few hours ago to run errands, and it sounded as though he was well engrossed in it by now – and as though he was enjoying himself, if the tune of whatever he was singing was any indication.
From downstairs, Abe couldn’t quite make out the words, but it sounded different from Henry’s usual fare; something upbeat and poppy. As Abe approached the stairs, stealthy as he was capable of being, almost certain Henry would notice him now and stop singing, the words resolved themselves:
“Waterloo, promise to love you forever more! Waterloo, couldn’t escape if I wanted to!”
They ticked something in the back of Abe’s memory, a half-remembered band popular in the 60s or 70s that he was sure Henry had played records of at some point, but the effort to remember was abandoned in favor of quelling laughter once he’d ascended the stairs and reached the open library door.
There was Henry, a man Abe had once upon a time thought of as suave and possibly even aloof, now with one arm almost awkwardly full of books as he scrutinized the title of one held in his other hand, body swaying almost subconsciously to the music as he sang.
To say Abe preferred this version of Henry was a vast understatement.
“And how could I ever refuse… I feel like a win when I lose! Waterloo – It’s not nice to sneak up on people, Abraham.”
Abe couldn’t help the laugh that escaped him then. Caught.
“Hardly my fault you didn’t notice I was home,” Abe countered. “But please, don’t stop on my account.”
Henry was already freeing up a hand to reach up and press a button on the cord of his earbuds—not headphones anymore, but hell, what a stupid name for a thing—to pause the music. “Well, now that you’re here, it would be rude to ignore you.”
He then proceeded to continue organizing the books as if Abe weren’t there, and Abe let out a huff of amusement. Henry certainly put on a good show—much like a cat, he was very good at acting like he’d meant to be doing whatever it was he was doing all along, even when he very much had not meant to do it at all—but after over a century of acquaintance, Abe could read the lines of embarrassment in his form. If he’d been capable, Abe imagined Henry might actually have been blushing at the moment.
“You could sing for me, then,” Abe suggested, gently teasing. “You have a lovely voice for it.”
And he did, was the thing – Abe had no idea what Henry’s hang-up about singing was, when he possessed such a sharp, clear, emotive voice.
“You know I have a rule against torturing those who don’t deserve it,” Henry shot back, and Abe rolled his eyes.
He stepped carefully over the stacks of books that had accumulated around Henry and leaned in to press a quick kiss to his cheek. “If you say so,” Abe murmured lightly, gamely accepting the kiss Henry turned to offer him before he stepped away again, this time to approach one of the few surfaces in the room that hadn’t been overtaken by Henry’s project.
Much preferring to be near whatever bustling signs of life the house had to offer today, Abe pulled a chair up to the half-clear desk and, after a moment of searching, found his sketchbook tucked safely away where he’d left it the previous night, when he had been drawing while listening to Henry read.
Making his intent to settle clear, Abe slipped the pencil from the ring binding and flipped to a clean page. He could see Henry shake his head out of the corner of his eye before continuing to pull and stack and re-shelve books.
As the cloudy afternoon light filtering through the windows waned into evening shade, they kept each other company in relative silence, the gentle thud of books being moved around and the scratch of pencil on paper filling the space between them until hours had passed and Abe caught a few faint notes hummed along from the other side of the room.
Pencil poised above his sketchbook, Abe chanced a look up and saw Henry absorbed in whatever he was doing by a corner shelf and quietly, absently, singing.
“The history book on the shelf, is always repeating itself…”
His voice was soft, a little lost in thought, but still pleasant. Abe smiled to himself and returned to drawing. If Henry had forgotten Abe was in the room with him, Abe wouldn’t be the one to remind him.
“Waterloo, I was defeated, you won the war… Waterloo, promise to love you forever more…”
It was a pretty catchy song, anyway.
