I've mentioned a few times now that I've been planning for April and Casey to end up together in the AU. Romance isn't really a focus of a AU's story, so I haven't gotten around to drawing it yet, but dammit it's valentines now I want some sapphics

Anyway, I imagine they catch feelings for each other properly between season 2 and the invasion. Almost everyone are getting along well enough with each other and April and Casey specifically start growing closer. Casey specifically has no idea how to handle romantic feelings like a normal person and goes a little bit crazy with trying to impress April, to everyone's shock and horror is actually works.

Mostly Donnie's shock and horror though, let's be honest. He has High Standards for whoever his future sister-in-law is gonna be and Casey does not meet them lmao. He tries to recruit everyone else to join him in sabotaging Casey's and April's relationship, but he's not very successful so yeah he's kinda on his own with this haha.

The more I think about the other Rise seasons we didn’t get, the more I wonder if they were planning to bring back the Shredder.

I know they obviously had plans for the triceratons. But they had—what—four more seasons planned?

I always wondered if maybe—just maybe—that they were going to pull a bit of a 2003 TMNT and 2012 TMNT twist on us and have the Shredder suit be a way for SOMEONE *cough* *cough* Ch’rell *cough* to pilot/corrupt the suit from afar and use it as a way to infiltrate the planet to take it over using human puppets.

Or maybe people just got corrupted using krang stuff. IDK it felt like the Shredder was dealt with to quickly, and we all know how much TMNT writers love to bring that bastard back from the dead.
