The gone village

this post is about the gone village of Zerimar and it’s relevance / importance to my minecraft diaries rewrite / au:

The Village of Zerimar was a peaceful place in the region of Ru’Aun. It had never known war and its people were kind. It was located roughly around here v

At a time, it was the 3rd largest village in Ru’Aun. Full of mostly humans and me’ifwa. They were rather disconnected the rest of Ru’aunian culture, much preferring their own. An important part of their culture was the use of Rune Tattoos. At birth their parents would choose a name with a meaning. They would be officially given their name and their Rune Tattoo at 1 month old by the High Shaman during their naming ceremony. This means all the people of Zerimar had magicks. Each unique and wonderful.

Being so close to O’khasis was dangerous enough on its own, but being so large and full to the brim with magicks users was a death sentence.

Garte, the lord of O’khasis, at first offered a deal. Zerimar would help O’khasis return monarchy to the land of Ru’aun and in return, the people could live their lives in peace free to govern their tiny bit of land as they always had. The lord of Zerimar refused, knowing it was wrong.

For a while, things were calm, but eventually all peace was long forgotten. Garte sent an army in the inky black of the night. Their only orders were to destroy everything and leave no survivors. Ru’aun would soon forget of Zerimar’s existence.

That night fires broke out in every building, every home. People were slaughtered unjustly and with no rhyme or reason. By the morning, the sky was black and grey and the village was far, far too quiet. The army left before the sun even rose.

Garte had believed there had been no survivors. No one to remember his sins. But there were. Few they were but they were there. Forced to leave and hide their runes but they survived.

These survivors would go on to do great things;

Like Calcifer, a boy of 14 who ran to find help as soon as the first fire started. He found a man named Björn who happened to be traveling past. They hurried back to find nothing. Years later, Calcifer began to forge great weapons, with which he imagined taking his revenge on the man who took away his family and friends.

Like Kenmur, whose family guard got him away from there as quickly as he could. He was no older than 12 at the time. He lost his family but carried on their talents, creating amazing red stone technology.

Or like Cadenza, and her sister Eseryt. Cadenza, who was only 11 herself, helped her 5 year old sister escape to the woods. She helped her climb a tree to safety then set out to find the rest of her family. Eseryt, being too young to understand, soon got restless and climbed down. she wandered trying to find her big sister but could not do so. She was found by a man and young boy by the names of Björn and Calcifer and brought her to the safety of another village, far away, where Eseryt would grow up learning to fight and create. Where she would dream of finding her sister again…

Cadenza spent hours looking for Eseryt but when the sun began to set again she figured the unthinkable had happened. She left to the forest to pick flowers to leave in town when a man and his guards arrived. At first she was scared, terrified that O’khasis had returned to finish the job, but this man was kind. He told her she was safe; word had gotten to his village, Metelli it was called, and that he’d come to collect survivors. Only… it was just her… She’d continue to grow up in a household full of people who loved and supported her. Two fathers and a brother, whom she adored. And she’d make dresses, just like she had done for her sister’s dolls all those years ago..

so y’all know how on the Free Day of Garrance week I used a superhero/superpowers setting? Yeah, that has now spiraled into a full on AU partially focused on Ro’Meave sibling drama and partially the Shadow Knights digging their noses into something they shouldn’t have and accidentally discovering a conspiracy.

Aphmau was brought along earlier than canon. This had effects such as her being a literal child(like she’s a infant at beginning of au) and Shad is the one to find her.

Shad goes “This is a baby. My baby. I need to protect my baby” and adopts her on the spot(she is infact Irene’s daughter in a sense and somehow has his genetics making him her bio dad-)

Reason she’s found? A shadow knight named Terrie. o7 Terrie you would of loved Deadpool and Wolverine.

Anyways Terrie is Aphmaus middle name in the au.

Shad spends years traveling and this results in Aph growing up knowing many of the characters as children. The Romeave brothers fate is much different due to growing up as close friends with Aphmau and Shad being close friends eventually with their parents. Garroth treats Aph as his little sister. Zane and Aph drag Vylad to tea parties. Aph also knows Laurence as a kid, both drag Candenza to cause chaos.

The result of Aph growing up traveling for first few years of her life is a knowledge of the different languages in that world. She eventually is raised in phoenix drop and Shad become lord of Phoenix Drop, the travels eventually become more diplomatic and she only joins when its travels to Okasis or Meteli.

She’s the reason Garroth and Laurence meet. THEY ARE GAY YOUR HONOR—

Aaron and Aph had a small fling and ultimately decided to be friends as they love each other but now know it’s more like siblings friends or cousins. Aph is Aaron’s sons god mother.

ANYWAYS ONTO SHAD AND HIS SHIT

Morherfucker is a girl dad. He will do anything and I mean ANYTHING for his daughter

Aphmau asks to do his nails? He sits still and lets her do them and also provides a shit ton of nail polishes and nail stuff

Boy troubles? Movies and ice cream(and shad sending shadow knights to beat the guys ass)

He has no overworld home and refuses to bring his new daughter to the nether(the shadow knights adore her and see her as a niece) due to the heat along with lava and fire. They eventually settle in Phoenix Drop and Shad becomes the lord instead of aph

Shads a good guy here. Irene’s a villain. But still follow their roles we just see a different perspective.

I decided to watch Void Paradox

I'm about five minutes into the first episode and I'm still not entirely sure if this is a good idea or not, but Laurance has already spoken like three lines of dialogue and I felt my heart wrench at just one of them, so clearly I'm in too deep now.

This post serves as my live tweeting/mental break down that I am currently having as we speak. It is very incomprehensible because it is literally just my thoughts as they happen, and given how much I have to say, I'll probably make proper posts out of a lot of these points once I finish the series.

This mess is just giving you a taste of the madness I truly posses.

I am only three minutes in before I have to pause and feel the urge to scream about how bad the dialogue in Aphmau series can be. Like this series is fairly okay, especially based on the standard set by her other shows but man... something is just not working here. The whole thing feels very clunky and while I can get the gist of what Jess is going for, the execution of said gist is leaving a lot to be desired.

nevermind Laurance is on screen and fully voice acted everything is better

Literally nobody talk to me I need to scream about Laurance Zvahl because he is EVERYTHING in this series. The way he very softly says Aph's name when he sees her, the immediate instinct to hug her because he's so relieved to see her, the fact that you can hear the smile in his voice the minute he registers that she's there and alive!! AUGH I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!

And I literally screamed when he revealed that he was transported to this AU right at the end of season 1. Oh my Irene, I screamed. I collapsed. I was truly defeated by a single line of dialogue. I don't know where this series is going to go but I am here for it. And the fact that he knows Garroth did it and hid it from her???

I can't overstate how genuinely healing it is to hear Laurance fully voice acted. I know Sebastian Todd is retired from voice acting, but when he retired, he took down all his posts, including what I considered to be a comfort video. That video of him reading iconic Laurance lines from before he was in mcd/lines he just didn't act? That video was my everything when I was trying to hold onto this version of the character I knew I loved who was different to what Jess made him. When that video got taken down it was a major cowabummer bc there's so little properly voice acted Laurance content that isn't mcd Season 3 or My Street stuff (and I can't stand My Street like 80% of the time)

Hearing his voice, hearing him get to be properly expressive, it's just doing things to me man. I missed this character a lot. I've mostly been enjoying him through fan content or my own work. It's nice to say I enjoy a piece of canon content involving him, at least so far.

Still not sure how I feel about literally anything else. The whole relationship between Aph and Tommy feels very... weird. She describes herself as "basically his mother" after she's left with him, and treats him like it in the opening scene. But then when he's mocking her for being attracted to Laurance (so relatable), it seems really weird for a [checks wiki] 14 year old kid to be calling out his mom for finding someone hot. Feels a lot more like sibling dialogue to me? Which I guess they could be seen as siblings, but the series explicitly stated that she views it like motherhood??? But I don't think Jess is even thinking that deeply about it, I just over analyze her work for fun at this point.

Okay what the actual fuck is going on with the inside of this house???

Why is the color scheme purple and yellow? And not in any kind of flattering way which is possible with opposite colors, it just has both of them. The wallpaper changes when you get into the living room except not entirely on the windows, and in an earlier scene it looked like it wasn't even put onto all of the walls. And the wood that she used as supports just does not compliment either of these colors as they are. Just make it all purple, you know you want to Jess.

Also is the texture on the table and the glass the same??? I don't know a damn thing about modding or making texture/data packs for minecraft but that just seems. odd.

I literally want to shake Laurance around like a rag doll and give him a stupid kiss on his stupid fucking face UGH why can't I be normal about this block man and his stupid feelings?!?! The way his voice breaks as despair sets in?? The fact that he's no doubt pieced together that Garroth probably stole the amulet and plans to use it to hurt Aph and he can't do anything about it?? I'm literally losing it.

How did I not watch this series before.

Literally about to cry over him just calling Aph "M'lady" out of pure instinct. He didn't consciously do that. He just misses her that much.

— Him and Aphmau still had that 'not alone buddies' thing, so they're closer than people realize since they were each others first friends

— Only Dante knows about his crush on Zane (He doesn't know that Nana knows now after chapter 3)

— Him and Nana never dated in HS but he did experiment a lot with his sexuality

— Latin American studies major (I was going to go with a different major but I thought it would be cute if Sylvanna inspired him to do something based on Latin history)

— Ein's character is mostly inspired by how he was portrayed in the minigames/Angelsville because real Mystreet Ein was creepy/evil

— The most unhinged in this AU (if you can't tell already..)

— Flirts with anything that breathes, nobody really knows if it's a joke or not

— Works off campus at a mall (Specifically: Macys; this is also a reference from one of the minigames)

— Between the SK, he is the most childish

— You know how sitcoms have that one signature Canadian? (EX: Beck from Victorious, Robin from HIMYM) In this AU, that's Zenix, for no particular reason, I just thought of it

Gene:

— Management major

— Pansexual; but he says he's straight

— Height: 6'0

— Between the SK, he is like the middle ground

— This is simply a reference to his VA, but his favorite anime is KNY and his favorite character is Kaigaku (if you didn't know, they're both voiced by Alejandro)

— Works off campus at a mall (Specifically: Hot Topic)

— I'm, again, going to say he didn't have a thing for Aphmau in HS because I'm, again, not messing with that age gap

Dottie:

— Zoology major

— Biromantic; Asexual

— Height: 5'5

— I like to imagine that Kim, Sasha, and her have an unexpected friendship together

— Between the pups, Dottie is like the older sister

— Works on campus as a teacher assistant

— Going back to Sasha, I would believe that she admires her a lot; especially because they are in 'similar' friendships (The boy, boy, girl friendship) (Daniel, Rylan, Dottie = Gene, Zenix, Sasha)

Daniel:

— Zoology major

— Gay; Asexual

— Height: 6'0 (I like the idea of him as a tall giant)

— Between the pups, Daniel is like the younger brother

— Works off campus in a daycare

— This is also not important but I think Daniel and even Rylan would be superstitious

— Aphmau also treats him like a little brother, Ein didn't like him in HS because of it

Rylan:

— Zoology major

— Gay

— Height: 5'8

— Between the pups, Rylan is like the middle child

— Works off campus at a movie theater with Ein

— Nobody knows why he is one of Zenix's targets of flirtation (Neither do I, I just thought it was funny)

— Admires Aaron a lot, partially because of the fact that he was Alpha in HS

Small reasons why I made each character what they are in my scifi au

Aphmau - She is just a Fifth Element reference. I really like the movie

Garroth - He is human because I wanted him to seem to be the quintessential straight man (metaphorically) He is the normal one, the controlled one, until he snaps and you find out that he is a genetically enhanced human and super soldier.

Laurance - I made him a Bee alien because they are known to hold strong relationships and are susceptible to parasites. THE RED which is my version of the Shadow Knight infection, is a mushroom like parasite, based on the ones that take over insect brains and force the body to find optimal growing conditions. He is also a hive mind insect, making him much more susceptible to the mind controlling effects.

Zoey - She is a plant because I thought it fit the elf theme and some plants can live almost forever. She is specifically a mint plant because they are almost impossible to kill and have a calming effect, perfect for a former warrior turned healer.

Katelyn - She is a half human - half moon cat alien because I thought it would be an interesting parallel to how much she hated being a meif'wa in MCD. She loves her human side but has to constantly come to terms with the fact that she is an alien, she can't always be her human fathers daughter and is her mothers kid.

Travis - I think being a shape shifting slime is hilarious. They are one of the most expressive characters and being able to form your body to perfectly mirror your emotions through cartoon logic fits perfectly.

Dante - He is a half-human half-dinosaur alien because most dinosaurs were pack animals. He came from a loving community but that wasn't the case for his brother as his brother was a lot more human on an alien planet. Well, his brother appeared a lot more alien. It was a way to create a realistic divide between the siblings that would only affect one and not the other,

Nana - She is a human because I think it makes the most sense. She has the most compassion and resilience in the MCD universe and I believe those to be some of the best human traits. She embodies being human

Aaron - He is the product of THE RED and was its first attempt at recreating Shad. He is a chimera of parts from various alien species THE RED absorbed in order to try and recreate Shad but failing because they have nothing of Shads memory. He is an unnatural monster who knows it. It ties to Aarons character well I believe.

In your AU have you included lore of the Divine Warriors? If so, could we get some info on it? I love hearing about the different interpretations. From the Guards' Tales it seems like Kul'zack and Menphia were a thing? Could we get details?

Of course! Here are a few snippets of lore!

Irene and Enki were siblings, with Irene being ten years older. They were from the Gal’ruk region, and were both witches descended from one of the original ten, Vaiya (this basically meant they could speak to Wyverns and use magic). Menphia was the daughter of another one of the original ten witches, Gaia. This also makes her the sister of all the Wyverns we meet in the original series!

Shad was the original king of Ru’aun. He was enamored with Irene from the moment he met her. They had one child together, Alina.

The Divine Warriors consisted of King Shad, Irene who had not yet actually married into the role of queen, her brother Enki who followed her everywhere, three of Shad’s guards, and one retainer. Esmund, Menphia, and Kul’zak were those guards. The retainer is an oc, Philomena. She makes up the last of the Divine Warriors.

Menphia and Kul’zak were actually not together. Something that’s very critical to the AU is that the Divine Relics corrupted absolutely. That’s why the Wyverns were hesitant to trust Irene with the knowledge of how to create them. The only thing that could help them resist this corruption was a relic known as a Heart. Kul’zak was one of the first to discard his heart to gain more power. His relic twisted him into a possessive man who felt like he deserved to own Menphia. That’s why he created her that sword— it was a display of his power over her. Kul’zak is unfortunately still alive in the modern era as he’s the infamous king of Tu’la.

Though, he certainly wasn’t corrupted the worst. Enki and Irene bore the brunt of the corruption, becoming the Demon Warlock and Shadow Lord respectively. Shad also got corrupted into the Demon King, but he was killed relatively quickly. Philomena, my OC warrior, is corrupted into the Ice Queen. She’s killed around 300 years prior to Aphmau’s time by Vylad’s paternal grandfather.

Menphia and Esmund were the only Divine Warriors who weren’t corrupted by their relics. Esmund passed his relic down to his son, and infused his Heart into Ru’aun itself (which is why loyal guards cannot be affected by corruption). Menphia noticed that she was close to being corrupted (and she hated her life controlled by Kul’zak) so she discarded her relic and her heart and absconded.

During the AU, Aphmau meets every single one of the Divine Warriors: besides Philomena, Esmund, and Shad. This is because those three are all dead by this point in the story.

This was a comment in response to me wanting an excuse to ramble about my Targaryen's survive AU so thank you @celerieth for this opportunity and thank you for the follow (:

Btw I am sorry to everyone who only follows me for aphmau content because I keep posting game of thrones stuff.

Warning, long post

So I've mentioned my AU and it's concept on my blogs before. The premise is basically all the Targaryen's survive the rebellion and kill the Baratheons, Starks, Arryns, and Tullys for their treason. Aerys remains king but I kinda stall his madness for the sake of story telling so Jaime does not kill him.

My fic starts at the same time as the Canon books except it basically only (so far) takes place in kingslanding. All the Targ kids (Aegon, Rhaenys, Daenerys, Viserys, Jon) get their own chapters, Rhaella and Elia, get them as well. Rhaegar is the only one so far without a chapter in progress.

The story mainly follows the more domestic drama and relationships between the characters so far, with everyone having to endure Aerys. But I do add in a lot of fluff for the Targ kids so it can be sweet.

Aegon is the picture perfect prince, smart, funny, kind, good looking but he has a few problems. Aegon has some pent up hatred towards Rhaegar for abandoning the family during the rebellion, this results in Aegon being more critical and distrustful of Rhaegar, viewing Rhaegar as mad for chasing a prophecy. This extra tension since Aegon is the child who Rhaegar views as the prince who was promised and thus pays extra unwanted attention to Aegon. Aegon is very close with his siblings, and mother, feeling extremely protective of them.

Rhaenys is an intelligent, witty, charming girl. Rhaenys shares Aegons feelings towards Rhaegar for the rebellion but she's much calmer and more lenient with Rhaegar, mainly because she doesn't talk to him often, he's distant and often in his head so neither cares enough to reach out. Rhaenys is loving towards her family and often tries to keep them in line, especially Daenerys. She has a slight rivalry with Daenerys but it's largely loving. She is the only one of her siblings in a relationship, she is secretly courting Willas Tyrell, heir to Highgarden.

Viserys is much nicer and calmer than in Canon since he never had to go through the trauma of being on the run and having his family die. Viserys is a loving older brother and uncle. He's a mama's boy, he tries his best to support his mother while she deals with the abuse at Aerys hand. He has a slightly odd relationship with Aerys. Aerys spared Viserys a lot of the abuse that the other family members suffered because Viserys is his favorite son, while he was saved from the physical and mental abuse he developed a guilt of sorts, feeling guilty that while his family is hurt he is safe. This guilt causes Viserys to be a bit protective and he tries to remove his family members from the area when Aerys get violent and loud.

Daenerys is reckless and chaotic but loving. She has a complicated relationship with her father. Aerys goes from doting on his daughter in every way to yelling and screaming at her at an instant, as a result Daenerys tends to avoid being around her father unless necessary. She's extremely close to Viserys with him being her safe person, kinda seeing him as a father or a caretaker more than a brother.

All the family members that have POVs are the main characters but Jon (Aemon in my rewrite) has the biggest one planned out. Jon is the last known member of the Stark family since he's Lyannas son. Jon is raised as something similar to a prisoner, being a symbol of the war and all the people the Targaryens demolished. Jon is antagonized by Aerys frequently to the point Jon loses sleep every night over the possibility of being murdered and having dreams of being burned alive by Aerys. He feels something similar to survivors guilt, believing he didn't deserve to live, and viewing his birth as the cause of the rebellion (will alaborate if needed)and as a result the cause of death of everyone who died in the rebellion, including all the Starks and his mother. Jon is extremely paranoid and fearful. Hes so paranoid that he went mute because he was scared of saying the wrong thing and being killed, his fear is intense that he can't talk if he tried, he created a mental block to stop him. he is rarely away from Aegon who he is close to, if Aegon is in a room Jon cannot go in he'll wait by the door for Aegon to come out. Jon is close with Rhaenys as well, often going to her for comfort.

That's base info, I know there's a lot, and that's just the stuff that I'm posting, I have pages of lore I'm waiting to implement.

Meet My OC! (Part Three)

I thought of a lot of different plotlines for Miami's story, at least in high school. So here are the most interesting ones, that were eventually scrapped.

BAND AU-

I was and still am a sucker for a good Band AU. Miami would've been the band's manager, and also stylist, and the band was made up of I think Aphmau, Katelyn, Garroth, and Laurence. And Kawaii-Chan was the Dj, from what I remember. This one was mostly scrapped because It was a generally bad story the way I wrote it. But who knows. This one could turn into a one-shot, or maybe you'll see it later in the fic/story.

POPULAR SINGER AU-

The idea here was that Miami was a singer (Obviously) and she had like, a siren's voice, because she was like, using some type of witchcraft without knowing it. I can't remember why I scrapped this idea, probably because that would make a better one-shot, rather than a whole fic.

LONG LOST COUSIN-

This one was just that Miami was Aaron's long-lost cousin, who got a weaker version of the ultima curse. This one is closest to the actual story idea. And did lead to me realizing Miami's personality and dynamics with other characters might be more interesting as a werewolf. This one was scrapped because I knew I could do better, and also, there was no logical way that I could make it work at the time.

APH'S SISTER-

Simply put, this one is exactly what you think it is. Except, I named Miami something completely different. She was named after a flower that time, no it was not Lily. It was probably something like Tulip, and then I realized it sounded dumb. This is also one of the ideas that made me realize I didn't want to just follow Aph's narrative. I need someone with their own story, who grew up differently from Aph so there could be room to explore other things in high school and or college, and even after that. So that was why that was scrapped. It would just feel like a retelling of Aph's story. Though I can maybe see something different if I make her a year younger or a year older.

MIAMI RO'MEAVE-

I know what you're thinking, and no, these two were not going to be siblings at any point. They were supposed to be in and arranged marriage. But Miami wouldn't stand for that, at least in this idea's plotline. For all I know, this might actually fit better in MCD. So, yeah, this one has less detail, and it could potentially work in MCD if I ever decide to write a fic for that.

Okay edgy 00s supernatural romance aphverse au

Garroth is the childhood friend thats inlove with Aphmau and she kind of shares it but she’s all ‘nah it’d be weird, our parents were super close, we were raised like siblings’.

And Laurence is the mysterious stranger that shows up at the same time as a whole bunch of murders and everyone thinks it’s him and it’s heavily implied he’s a vampire because he’s not seen during the day, and he’s queasy at the sight of blood. Except he saves Aphmau from the real vampires and ends up getting bitten.

Katelyn is the cautious best friend that warns aphmau against dating sketchy guys and is correct about pretty much everything but people don’t listen to her because then there’d be no plot.

Lucinda is the sassy queer friend of the cautious best friend who is secretly from a long line of witches, and her mother runs the grand coven of witches. She fronts as just being spiritual but all of the vampires are scared of her and she sells some sketchy shit, so like… it’s obvious to the watcher that she’s more than just spiritual.

And Aphmau herself is the quirky main protagonist with something weird and mystical about her that makes the male love interests want to either bang her or eat her for some reason. She will kill someone at some point and it will be a big girlboss moment even though the rest of her characterisation is borderline misogynistic because it’s the 2000s

Naoki Ro'meave (top left and middle) Zane and Nana's only child. He's a selective mute and fourteen, a few months younger than Matt. Closest with Matt, as neither of them talk much.

Adrianna "Annie" Ro'meave (top right), Garroth and Laurance's daughter that they had via surrogacy (biologically Garroth's), she was born with a malformed arm that was removed as a baby. She's fifteen and very accident-prone (takes after her Apa Laurance).

Alina-Rose Lycan (middle left) eldest child of Aaron and Aphmau, she inherited the Ultima curse and Aph's connection to Irene. And Mattias "Matt" Lycan (middle), Aarmau's second child. They're sixteen and fourteen respectively, and Matt was born with one eye.

Evie Valkrum (middle right), Travis and Katelyn's daughter. She got mostly her dad's physical traits but tries to act more like Katelyn. Her bangs are dyed. She's fifteen, not particularly close to the others, but hangs out with them habitually. (they all grew up together)

"The Girls", Lucinda's two daughters, created with Magick. Violet (left) and Talia (right). Talia is blind, she can make out vague shadows and light, but not much else. Violet isn't actually a witch, despite looking like one, and can't use Magick. They're both sixteen, and good friends with Alina. (side note, the cats are their familiars, siblings and the kittens of Lucinda's cat)

Dmitri, ya know him, ya love him, son of Dante and Nicole (they aren't together, but co-parent, alternating each week). He's sixteen, the oldest of his classmates, and a grump.

And the twins, Jasper and Jade, Sasha's daughters with an ex from college. They were raised by Zenix, as Sasha didn't want to be a parent after getting dumped, so they call him Dad despite not being related. Jasper is a trans-girl and good friends with the main group, while Jade is a bit of a bully. They're fourteen.

Plus a bonus Levin and Malachi. They were fostered by Aphmau and Aaron as pre-teens, each coming from different families, and becoming very close and brothers. At this point, Levin is nineteen and Malachi is twenty. They still live at home while attending college, and Malachi is an intern at Melissa's company.

this would be a "nothing bad happens" AU where everyone's just happy and living their lives without ever experiencing the events of seasons four/five/six.

Ein actually gets very fucked over it. But he has different reactions. (I’m only gonna mention the main four rn cos Menphia and kul’zaks r a secret)

I also don’t have Shadrene in my rewrite but I’m nervous to say what I do have cos I feel like people would crucify me—

Aphmau: He’s rather angry with her at first as he thinks she’s Irene. Afterwards, they’re very much sibling behaviour, and would kill for one another.

Travis: Travis he’s a bit more fucked over, as Ein’s friends consisted of his sister that wasn’t Irene, Shad and Othello (my rename/remake of the demon warlock/Michael). So it’s less he sees Enki in Travis and he sees who his friend used to be.

Garroth: Bit more tense, Ein doesn’t have the highest opinion of Esmund for a while. Plus, Ein did leave Garroth to have that bad injury by Zane when he was escaping. After he heals a lot from his trauma though, they’re very much the definition of- they’re friends but Ein is a big shithead-

Aaron: Aaron is a villain in my rewrite. So Ein, seeing Shad through him, is rather…disappointed. But also Ein does tell him to sit the fuck down he’s not the big man on campus XD
