Anubhav Dubey & the creation of popular Chai Sutta Bar
Anubhav Dubey was born on September, 1996 in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa District. Hailing from a small town and belonging to a middle-class background, Anubhav worked hard to realize his parents’ ambition of becoming an IAS officer. He moved to Delhi after finishing school with the goal of excelling in the UPSC examinations but ended up taking a completely different path. He and his good friend, Anand Nayak, decided to establish their own venture together, and the Chai Sutta Bar story began from there.
Anubhav and Anand launched their business with a small investment of Rs 3 lakh. Working on a shoestring budget, the two co-founders soon realized they could not afford branding or advertising. They opened their first outlet in Indore with the help of second-hand furnishings and cheap materials. Now with more than 165 locations nationwide, Anubhav Dubey‘s Chai Sutta Bar has branches in nearly every region.
India is a country with the largest chai consumer market. It has become one of India’s rapidly expanding tea chain cafés. Initially, the Chai Sutta Bar sold 4000-5000 Kulhads each day; but today, they sell 80,000+ Kulhads per day, which is a tremendous milestone.

Meet Anubhav Dubey, the Co-founder of Chai Sutta Bar
Meet Anubhav Dubey, the co-founder of Chai Sutta Bar, a renowned street food chain known for its exceptional tea and street food offerings. Born in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, India in 1996, Anubhav Dubey is a young Indian entrepreneur who has achieved remarkable success at the age of 26 (as of 2023), with a net worth of approximately 120 crore (equivalent to 15 million USD) from his business.
Anubhav's entrepreneurial journey began when he moved to Delhi to prepare for the UPSC exam and started selling tea with his friend Anand Nayak. With a modest investment of 3 lakh rupees, they rented an empty warehouse near a girls' hostel in Indore and spent the money on decorating and furniture. However, they faced challenges in attracting customers initially, and to overcome this hurdle, they created a fake crowd with the help of their friends. This strategy worked, and soon they were doing good sales and had to hire more people to handle the increasing demand.
The popularity of their shop, Chai Sutta Bar, continued to soar, and within six months, they decided to expand and open new franchises. Today, Chai Sutta Bar has more than 200 outlets not only in India but also in Dubai, Muscat, Oman, Nepal, and plans to open outlets in Canada and America. Anubhav Dubey's story is a source of inspiration for young entrepreneurs who are willing to pursue their dreams and work hard to make them come true. He has demonstrated that with a small investment and a lot of hard work, it is possible to build a successful business that can expand beyond borders.
Anubhav is a graduate of Maharishi Vidya Mandir in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, and currently resides in Indore, India. He is a Hindu by religion and is in a relationship. Anubhav has a height of 5′ 8″ and weighs 60 kg. He has black eyes and hair, but his figure measurement is unknown.
Anubhav is very active on social media, where he regularly interacts with his fans. He frequently posts photos and videos about his personal and professional life. Anubhav Dubey's success with Chai Sutta Bar highlights the significance of having a unique and innovative business idea, hard work, and perseverance. He has proven that it is possible to achieve remarkable success at a young age with the right mindset and determination. His journey serves as an inspiration for aspiring entrepreneurs who want to create a positive impact in the world.

Affordable Business franchise to own in 2022!
India ranks third among all countries in the world for the consumption of goods and services. Starting a franchise in India is a tried-and-true method of launching one's own business. Some of the most popular industries for beginning a franchise are transportation, fast food, beauty, healthcare, wellness, education, and fashion. One of the ways that brands have used to expand in India is the franchise business. One can choose from a variety of inexpensive franchise options in India.
India is a massive market for the most successful business franchise companies. The franchise system is quickly spreading throughout the country. It aids both the franchisee and the franchisor in accomplishing their respective objectives.
Instead of dealing with fresh business concepts, many successful entrepreneurs have chosen the business franchise model. "What is the best economical franchise to own?" you may wonder. To offer you some ideas, this page summarises the most profitable and affordable CHAI franchise in India.
Tea is used more frequently in India than water, according to Anubhav Dubey (co-founder and director of CHAI SUTTA BAR), which demonstrates the commercial potential of the beverage. Every character is a responsibility: Kumud Mishra
New Post has been published on https://jordarnews.in/every-character-is-a-responsibility-kumud-mishra/
Every character is a responsibility: Kumud Mishra
The actor, who plays his first lead role as a circus artist in the recent film ‘Ram Singh Charlie’, talks about his transition from theatre to cinema
Famous in theatre circles for over 25 years for his many memorable performances (Shakkar ke Paanch Daane, Kaumudi, Muktidham etc.), Kumud Mishra is now making his mark in movies. His latest film, Ram Singh Charlie, directed by Nitin Kakkar and released recently on SonyLiv, features his first role as lead. His performance as the eponymous character elevates the well-written story about the struggles of a circus artist. He has acted in other films too, including Rockstar (2011), Filmistaan (2014), Airlift (2016), Sultan (2016), M.S. Dhoni — The Untold Story (2016), Mulk (2018), Article 15 (2019), Thappad (2020) etc. Excerpts from an interview:
We’ve been hearing about ‘Ram Singh Charlie’ for a long time. When was it made?
We finished filming in 2015 and post-production work was completed in 2016. It took four-five years of struggle to release it — it’s the same story with every independent film. But now, we’re are happy with the response we’ve been getting after its OTT release. It reaffirms our faith in the film. I think it has come at the right time.
Why is this the right time?
Because the struggle of Ram Singh in the film is something many of us are going through. Workers have lost jobs; cinema theatres are closed. So many people are suffering without work. Film stars might survive on their savings, but what about technicians, spot boys etc? In other sectors too, people have lost jobs. All of them can relate to Ram Singh’s struggle when the circus shuts down.
When did you come to Mumbai?
In 1995. I came at the behest of my guru, Satyadev Dubey, who had set me up for a screen test for a new film (The Making of the Mahatma; Shyam Benegal). The plan was to complete the audition and go back in 3-4 days. But when I reached PMGP colony, I decided that this was where I wanted to live. I had no ambitions to work in cinema or television. My interest was theatre, and since Dubeyji was in Mumbai, I started working with him. I then met Sunil Shanbag and worked with his theatre group, Arpana, in many plays. At the same time, I also got television work in Mahesh Bhat’s Swabhimaan and Tanuja Chandra’s Zameen Aasmaan.
In theatre, you have played the main protagonist’s role more often than not. But in films, at least until now, you’ve been doing small roles. As an actor, how do you negotiate this difference?
I am fundamentally an actor. I don’t care how long or how important the character is . My focus has always been what I am learning and with whom I am working. In both theatre and cinema, the team is very important. More so in theatre, because you are spending so much time together. For example, with some directors like Abhishek Majumdar, you are together for 8-10 hours every day during rehearsals. In Mumbai plays, we work a minimum of 3-4 hours in rehearsals every day. If there have been moments where I have felt that I have been given a smaller role, I have consciously fought my ego and reminded myself that I am an actor and my duty is to be able to perform any role. As far as television and cinema are concerned, you are a product there. So, your fees and sometimes the length of your role are dependent on your market value, and there is no question of nurturing my ego there. Yes, at times I feel that I should be getting much better work. But the most important thing for me is that I do justice to the roles I get.
What was your first film?
Sardari Begum (1996). It was a dream come true — I was in a frame directed by Shyam Benegal.
You took a long break from movies after ‘Sardari Begum’. When and how did you come back to films?
Amrit Sagar was making 1971 in 2007. It was written by Piyush Mishra, and a lot of theatre friends like Manav Kaul, Deepak Dobriyal, Chittranjan Giri, Ravikishan and Manoj Bajpayee were part of the project. I couldn’t say no. But even though it won a national award, it didn’t do well in cinemas. Then Rockstar came to me via the casting director, Mukesh Chhabra. This film made me popular among the general public, and so began the second phase of my journey in films.
Do you think OTT platforms have led to an increase in content-oriented works and more talented actors getting work?
I think it is what society today demands — people clearly want something new and real. And we have a new generation of directors and writers who are interested in telling different stories. Also, due to the lockdown, the significance of OTT platforms has increased tremendously, and now many younger, talented folks who were waiting in the wings are getting opportunities. And because people have so many options on these platforms, any work that’s not good vanishes quickly into a black hole. The chalta hai attitude will no longer work.
As far as big films are concerned, for that matter any film, the cinema theatre is the place for them. The collective experience of watching a film in a theatre is vital for the art. And big budget films are essential for keeping movie economics healthy. They invest big money and earn big money, which feeds many mouths.
How different is acting in theatre and acting in a film? How do you negotiate the different demands of the mediums?
The new film directors have been a blessing. They don’t treat actors differently. For instance, Anubhav Sinha has always given me the full script. Same with Imtiaz Ali. For Rockstar, I worked for one-and-a-half months on the script and the language. I never felt I was treated differently compared to a star like Ranbir Kapoor. Of course, the mediums are different. In theatre, you rehearse so much that your role becomes a physical memory. In cinema, when I am in front of the camera, I am only worried about the other character. I don’t have to perform for the camera. But in theatre I have to be aware of the space and the audience as well as the co-actor, and I project my performance accordingly. For instance, the way I would perform at Prithvi and the way I would at Rangashankara are different, and it also depends on the audience energy since it is live.
Ram Singh is your first lead role. How did the film happen?
After Filmistaan, when we met at a party, Nitin Kakkar had told me about his plan to make this film. He asked me if I wanted to do it. After I heard the script narration, there was no way I could have rejected such a role. At this juncture in my career, I consider myself lucky to be offered an opportunity to play such a character.
It is a challenging role; you essay all kinds of emotions as well as impersonate Charlie Chaplin. Did you prepare differently this time, knowing the film’s responsibility rested on your shoulders?
Playing the lead role does not necessarily increase your responsibility. Every character is a responsibility. When Nitin cast me in Ram Singh Charlie, I was overweight, and he wanted me to play a Charlie Chaplin impersonator. I had to work very hard. I used to go to the office in the morning and work till evening. There were classes lined up — dance classes, Chaplin training and script reading sessions all day. It was an exciting process. So, yes, it was difficult.
You have recently started using social media. It seems there is more scrutiny than ever of celebrities on social media; they have to be on guard all the time.
I am not at all comfortable with social media. I signed up to promote the new film. Social media has big reach and has its own place, but it is not society. It’s unfortunate that it has started dictating the conversations in our lives. It’s a tragedy that newspapers have gone out of our lives. As an actor, an artist and a person I have an opinion on politics, economics and society and I don’t hesitate to express myself. But I don’t want to use social media to express myself. I will directly converse with my society instead.
How do you see your journey so far?
I live in the present. Thankfully, my memory is bad, so I don’t dwell on the past at all. I don’t see Ram Singh Charlie or any other work in the context of a 25-year journey. But I have really enjoyed the journey. I still feel as nervous when I have a new role as I did 25 years ago. Yes, I understand the craft better now, but that’s a double-edged sword because you tend to resort to your bag of tricks. I am happy with where I am. Both my personal and artistic journeys have been very satisfying.

The curious case of Vikas Dubey has been doing the headlines for quite some time now. His encounter has been the most sensational news on television channels and the Internet. Producer Shailesh R Singh, who is best known for producing some films like Tanu Weds Manu, Shahid, Aligarh, Omerta, Judgemental Hain Kya, has obtained the rights to Vikas Dubey’s story and the events that led to his ultimate encounter. The story will be developed and helmed by National Award winner Hansal Mehta.
Producer Shailesh R Singh says,” I have been following the whole story quite closely through news agencies and other means, killing of 8 policemen shook the Nation and started the 7 days trial of Vikas Dubey which finally saw him killed in an encounter. I thought why not tell this story to the entire nation and bring out some real facts and go to the inner depth of the great to tell this story. I am overwhelmed to tell this story and really looking forward to it.”
Director Hansal Mehta said, “It is an important story, a reflection of our times and our system where politics, crime, and lawmakers form a curious nexus. It is early to discuss approach but it will be approached responsibly and as a fascinating recounting. I see an edgy political thriller emerging out of this, and it will be very interesting to tell this story.”

How to prepare in college to ace in Litigation Career – Tanvi Dubey and Anubhav Garg
This article has been written by Yash Singhal a student of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, GGSIPU.
‘How to prepare in college to ace in Litigation Career’ by Tanvi Dubey and Anubhav Garg on the LawSikho platform provides essential inputs regarding the process of preparing for a career in litigation while being a college student. The session will be summarised in a brief questionnaire format.
Description of the Guest speaker
Ms. Tanvi Dubey is a practising advocate in the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court and the other Tribunals based in Delhi. She is an avid speaker for the promotion of women empowerment in the legal sector, through various speeches on national and international forums. She is a part of Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. law firm. She has been a great performer since her college days which is evident from her internship experience with legends like Ram Jethmalani, Justice Dipak Misra and Mohan Parasaran.
Description of the Moderator
Mr Anubhav Garg is a Management Trainee at LawSikho after securing a PPO at his internship with iPleaders (a subsidiary of LawSikho in blogs on legal content) for content writing and event manager. He is currently pursuing his BBA LLB from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. He has demonstrable experience in the field of business laws and functioning of courts and Tribunals in this matter. He keeps his content writing skills above anything and has an illustrious internship experience in content writing with some of the best platforms.
Excerpts of the Webinar
Q. Why did you choose to pursue law and what was the reason behind entering Litigation?
(Tanvi) I have always been interested in law. The fascination started around my 9th standard when I read law books and later in the college explored various domains without any specific interest in litigation. The internship experience motivated me to pursue litigation. Law as a profession provides the liberty to express oneself more than any other profession. Litigation needs a multidimensional approach with everything done by the individual itself, learning the patience to listen and avoid dissatisfaction on minor tasks.
Q. What are your views on law students starting independent practices right after college if they have significant internship experience?
(Tanvi) It is a subjective matter with a personal choice of each to go either way. It all depends on stability and how it is maintained in initial days when earning is low. It has to be taken into consideration and an informed decision must be taken. If you have the independent skills to survive then it does not matter.
Q. How did you manage to intern with pioneers in the legal field despite not being from a National Law University?
(Tanvi) All my internships were linked in a way with one of my internships with the Solicitor General allowed me to apply for another internship with Supreme Court advocates. Destiny played its part, along with working on my resume to keep it crisp and a covering email to provide points of details I seek in the internship. The non-National Law Universities students can also seek internships in the Tier 1 law firms with diligence. I gave my 100% in every capacity while staying positive about the kind of work allotted. Always put your points forward to seniors, if any. You can try to apply for months which are less crowded in terms of applications placed.
Q. What activities should be undertaken if interested to pursue litigation after college?
(Tanvi) The law colleges have the required infrastructure to organise activities which prepare students to tackle all situations in the future, I have always motivated students to participate in every activity they can during these five years to get acquainted with everything. (on the personal decision of opting litigation) I did not have anything decided but developed interest during my internships where I learnt new skills of argumentation, dispute resolution etc. It is important to develop overall skills in the first two years of college.

Q. What qualities does a senior lawyer look for in his/her interns while hiring them?
(Tanvi) The lawyers would not expect their interns to know everything but desire commitment towards work assigned to them. You have to find out ways to involve yourself in the workings of your senior by sharing views and thoughts on matters handled by the senior lawyer. (on pre-requisites of getting an internship with senior counsel) You need some prior litigation experience, court functioning, basics of filing and personal role as an intern. (on the hierarchy of internships year-wise) It is ideal to opt for an NGO/trial court internship in the first year, the second year can be allotted to High Court internships, realise what you want to do by the third year and intern in those areas that you are interested in.
Q. What are some things you feel that are not taught in law schools but should have been a part of the curriculum? What is the relevance of the extra-curricular activities?
(Tanvi) Every achievement plays a role in the CV and it should not be only restricted to major events but minor events are also recognised. Colleges have modified their curriculum where they provide enough time for co-curricular activities and students should derive maximum benefits from it. The exposure, nowadays, is immense in regard to events, which are also viewed by recruiters as achievements. There are international universities and organisations organising certificate courses which should be utilised by each student to the fullest.
Q. How to utilise the lockdown period for personal growth by fetching online internships?
(Tanvi) There have been online courses by International Universities such as Harvard and Oxford on legal and non-legal topics. The online internships shall be availed as there is no control over the natural occurrence. The firms should be approached and this would also increase contacts. The courses which have practical value in terms of procedures should be preferred as theoretical knowledge is received in college.
(Anubhav) LawSikho also provides various courses on the online platform which increases the success rate in the profession. The query is resolved by the experts as soon as possible.
Q. What are the pitfalls one needs to take into consideration while pursuing litigation?
(Tanvi) There is no initial money in the litigation practice so the preferred choice is to be patient with the career. Always keep yourself busy to not get demotivated by the circumstances or enrol in teaching a subject which would help in grasping that subject completely. The initial years shall be devoted to learning the functioning of the courts and after some time go for specific practice. The experience plays a major role in deciding the field of interest. (on writing research papers) I started with national journals and gradually shifted to international journals, getting the information of these ‘call for papers’ from the websites itself.
Q. What should be the starting point for a college student to walk the path of arbitration?
(Tanvi) The individual who has realised his interest in arbitration needs to undertake internships specific to the field. They can also write blogs and research papers or engage in discussions on arbitration and related issues. If they manage to crack a law firm internship, then they will be guided by a group of lawyers on the intricacies along with the practical exposure. An active participation in the events associated with negotiation or arbitration helps in enhancing skills.
Q. What should be the financial investment needed to start a litigation career?
(Tanvi) A lawyer needs self-survival strategies in the initial stages when money is not enough in the practice. The office space, staff, clients and many other factors influence the financial investment required. It is a subjective matter as to the moderate investment required according to the facilities an individual aspires for. A futuristic perspective up to the next 5 years should be taken into account before venturing into litigation as a career option.
Q. What should be the way forward for a student interested in only litigation but advises are passed on to have multiple field experience?
(Tanvi) If you have good enough experience in litigation and have made up your mind to pursue a career in it then you should continue with your interest. There is no harm in going forward with litigation provided you are sure about it and have some experience to back it up.
Q. How is corporate litigation different from independent litigation and is there a concept of paralegals in corporate and litigation firms in India?
(Tanvi) There are some spots for paralegals in law firms specifically restricted to research or preparing for a matter. Independent litigation deals with various fields but corporate litigation limits itself to commercial or company-related matters. Independent ligations require knowledge of the basics of all the domains before you pursue a specific field.
