Does anyone else think about how Oliver Banks was Lonely? He was so afraid of the death that followed him that he risked everything to sail as far away from life and humanity as possible, which is awfully reminiscent of Peter Lucas.

But the thing is, even when he wasn’t heading to Point Nemo, he was still isolated. He would be just as alone in a bustling city as he would be in the middle of the ocean. Because even as he walks amongst others, he is still surrounded by only the dead.

He cannot get close to other people because he can’t see them as people, only as the corpses they will one day become. And that may be one of the Loneliest fates of all.

people like to give callum brodie to jon and martin as an adopted son, which is valid and fun, but oliver and annabelle also have very ambiguous fates so I like to imagine them as britain's worst found family. famously good liar annabelle dragging famously bad liar oliver into a parent-teacher conference where they pretend to be married so they can talk to a school principal about why their "son" keeps meddling with building's fuse box whenever he's stressed.

CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT: MR BLAKE!

While Mr Blake is seldom seen outside of his office, he is a steadfast pillar of the severed floor. If the severed floor were a farm, Mr Blake would be the shepherd, dutifully and humbly leading the employees of the severed floor back to the light. The...harsh, cold, overhead LED light, that is.

I bought the DVD for severance S1 today!! I can't rewatch Severance very often because of Apple TV being a subscription I just don't have very easily, so I'm BUZZED to be able to study this show closer as I write! I'm only noticing more and more things I want to earmark for Magsev....can't wait for S2 of Severance this weekend!!! AHHH!!! AHH! AHAHA!!!! oooh. autism beam
