Sadie and Walt/Anubis age gap
Ok, so, Sadie is a 13 year old dating a 16 year old merged with a teenage god, right? (Why tf did Rick make Anubis a hot white boy teenager that is so weird and disrespectful to Egyptians and their culture) So, what happens when she's 15 and they're 18, or she's 16 and they're NINETEEN? Do they go out for dates? Because people are going to stare at this supposed romantic couple and maybe even call the police, and even Sadie's friends and family might see something wrong. WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN?

Poe and Houdini run afoul of the House of Life...
So I was thinking about that vague CotIG/ Riordan verse (is there an accepted collective phrase for the Mythological YA books of Rick Riordan) and something struck me. The one scene idea that stuck in my head was this. Poe and Rose at Camp Halfblood (for reasons), and Poe introduces himself as Chronos...which gets a negative reaction from all campers around. Drawing weapons and such. Rose draws Caliburn to defend him...only for Poe to call out the names of each weapon in the oldest of tongues and basically the ideas was either banishing them to that Platonic world of Forms Place (assuming I’m thinking about what I think I am. Which I might not be), or reminding the weapons that they (or at least they from the CotIG universe...and subsequently most others) agreed to Frigg’s Promise with him. With the exception of either Alcohol or Pistachios... As cool as that idea was I realized something...Poe wouldn’t be allowed into Camp Halfblood. Rose would be, seeing as her Mother...was a Part of the Three Who are One which includes Hecate and is therefore a Daughter of Hecate. But while CotIG Poe is many things he is not a child of any Greek or Roman Gods. At least as far as I know? I mean he might have been a person who was considered or believed to be so? And for all I know Riordan Verse Poe might be one (it’s been ages since I’ve read Riordan’s stuff. I need to remedy that at some point)...but as far as CotIG Poe...he isn’t. So he wouldn’t be allowed in, so there’d be no instance of introducing himself as Chronos resulting in the afformentioned result....that was redundant...moving on! Then it hit me! Let’s say the plan to get to the Riordan verse (since I assume Interdimensional travel would have to be involved given both series have their own separate interpretations of Daedalus, Circie, Archimedes, Calypso, Odysseus, and other such persons) via a Trump to a Soft Place, then a second which is supposed to go to Camp Halfblood (or in the Big House more likely? I bet you Chiron could be a Contact in the Riordan verse. Aside from Rick Riordan himself of course whose definitely a Caretaker. Or at the very least a Mystorian. I digress). However due to only Rose actually being allowed in...everyone else gets all over the place. For example. Poe and Houdini end up in the First Nome or the one in Brooklyn I forget the number of. Because they’re both Magicians and stuff. I mean I’m sure their magic systems differ from the House of Life to some degree...but still. Laura Glue either ends up at CHB with rose being a Descendant of the Pan coming from Pan( right? I need to re read SftRD), or with the Norse Characters (haven’t read that series yet)? Or with Edmund and Charles. And Edmund and Charles (who came along because reasons)....being relatively normal dudes end up...somewhere. They might end up at Rick Riordan’s house for all I know. With that all said I should probably explain the thing in the title Whatsit. How do Houdini and Poe get in trouble with the House of Life? Well, if memory serves (it has been ages since I’ve read the Kane Chronicles), the House of Life is all about maintaining Order and stuff. Very Anti Chaos.... And then there’s Poe with his whole ‘Chaos and Entropy are life’ thing. Which I imagine would not sit to well with an Organization that recently defeated a giant Chaos Serpent. I’m guessing this would all take place after every series involved...which might then mean adding Time Travel on top of Interdimensional travel..but ah well. So anyway...how’s Houdini get in trouble aside from associating with Poe? I’m guessing Waltnubis if They’re around might take notice of the dude who’s seemingly alive but also dead...(I’m guessing Psychopomps and Death Gods would take notice of Tulpas like Houdini)... Or something...I don’t know. I do wonder if Egyptian History and Mythology May be one thing Poe isn’t extremely knowledgeable in. Despite having several conversationss with Mummies every now and again. Could make reference to that one story. Houdini saying Poe should know about this stuff...with Poe’s response being if Houdini actually read the story in question he’d know how horribly inaccurate and possibly Offensive it is.. Also it should go without saying that Poe and Houdini try to disguise themselves and give aliases. (Doctor Tarr and Professor Feather? Or some other thing). Probably using Poe’s Dupin Glasses...or having accidentally brought the Devilish ones... I digress. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming
