I'm straying a bit far from canon at this point, so i might just turn them into an oc soon :3

i fully redid/redesigned the slugcats in my rw anthro au, this took way too long

one day ill have to like properly do a comic or maybe an ask blog for these goobers

the ones with significantly lore/story changes are surv and monk which ill try to summarize a bit below this cut

surv and monk are from a different smaller colony/family than gourmands and only really passed by gourmands colony while they were migrating

surv and monk are generally teenagers when they get separated and lost at some point during this migration and spend most of their teenage years in the wilderness

eventually they find each other and also join up with gourmands colony after yknow finding outer expanse which when gourmand gives surv his title survivor for his pretty crazy feat of survival

in gourmands colony the two are almost treated like heros/celebrities, especially amongst the kids and ESPECIALLY surv

surv feel undeserving of this treatment and is very socially anxious and maladjusted to social living which leads to him appearing either very stoic and collected or just weird

surv is only ever really socially active with his older sister monk and hunter who he connected with much faster with than anyone else (besides monk) due to similar stoic dispositions

surv is a mess lol

monk has handled this much better as she was able to join a scav colony for a period of time (until a certain red slugcat passed by) so shes way more socially adjusted plus shes also older by like give or take 4 to 7 years

she just chills at the outer expanse gardens/farms for the most part and tries to help hunter with their rot in ways they can

if i were to do an ask blog i would either center it around arti, hunter, and saint or surv and monk since those groups have the most story rn

enot!!! the thingy!!! the girl or the guy!! that one :D

he's a peculiar guy. again basically no redesign from the last i just updated his story (which is under the cut if you didn't know)

Enot doesn't know much about his origin. His biological parents are assumed dead, and he was adopted at a very young age. He loves his parents, though, and is grateful to still live with them. One thing he does know about his origin, is that he is not a full slugcat, he's half Scavenger.

When Enot was a pup, she was white, cyan and red in color. However, a previously undiscovered illness made her bedridden for many cycles. It left her fur inverted and she still suffers from the effects of the illness into her adult life (ex: malnourishment). Her parents nicknamed her "Inv" as a way to make light of the situation.

Because he was so isolated as a pup, he never really made friends, and people often disliked him for being off-putting. He's always been a hopeless romantic, and had crushes on many of his classmates (Arti, Gourm, Spears, Watcher, to name a few).

Her favorite things to do are anything to do with video games. She gets constant migraines from staring at her computer constantly. She's even learned programming, and is planning on making a game of her own.

Recently, he's managed to make two new friends, the newcomers in town: Rivulet and Saint. After getting to know them better, Enot developed feelings for Saint. He's decided to not make a move, however. He's certain confessing will only get him hurt again. This doesn't stop his crush from being painfully obvious, though.

sorry if his backstory doesn't make much sense, I haven't done into detail with that part my AU yet. the "mysterious illness" is related to void fluid, and Enot is much more than just a Scug/Scav. not saying anything big though. thats what @ask-sleepys-slugs is for :3

ok ive reached like peak cringe, making au comics im almost embarrassed fkjashdkasjhd anyways have a very small comic with saint, hunter, and enot with zero context

enot and saint were students of sliver of straw with enot being saint's senior, enot goes on a journey one day in pursuit of more knowledge and further sliver's teachings

this journey ends after they managed to get into rubicon and beyond, getting brain blasted with all the information/knowledge of the universe in like 2 seconds and goes crazy and also gains god like powers that are above anything else in the world

theyre basically just happy chaos lol, idk how else to explain their character without going into an essay

basically theyre a dnd dm in a campaign where he forgets the rules the moment the session starts and starts improvising for their own amusement, to the benefit or detriment of the players (i.e. everyone else that isn't him)

he also likes to fuck with saint

(they also may or may not have caused arti's whole revenge arc)
