Tonight’s meal is a two inch thick @showmebeef prime ribeye sous vide for three hours then seared at 1500 degrees in the @beefer_usa Original for about 2 minutes per side. Its served with broccoli rabe sautéed in garlic butter and mashed potatoes. The beef was so tender and perfect! The upper surface contains a LCD screen that displays all the necessary information. The large and bright digits on the screen provide a convenient visualization of control. In general, the device looks very stylish and easily fits into the interior of any kitchen.

Anova Precision Cooker provides a constant set temperature for the set cooking time with a thermostat and circulation of water inside the pan. In fact, this method is a high-precision heating for a certain time, and Anova Precision Cooker is a high-precision thermostat. The cooking algorithm is very simple and contains several stages. 1. Precision Cooker is attached to the pan using a special clamp. Time and temperature are set by means of a thermostat wheel. 2. Foods in the Ziplock bag are attached to the edge of the pan. The circulator spins the water inside the pan, ensuring an even distribution of hot water throughout the cooking process. 3. Additional roasting of the prepared dish will provide a beautiful crust. Such cooking has the following advantages: - cooking a dish in its own juice ensures the juiciness of the ready-made dish; - minimal loss of food during cooking; - burnt sacrifice is impossible; - preservation of vitamins in foods.
Design
Anova Precision Cooker is ideal for cooking steak, fish, eggs, chicken, pork and vegetables. A durable and flexible clamp is easily attached to almost any pan or container.

Its design provides rotation of device to select the direction of water flow. The intuitive interface is very simple.

The temperature is set using the thermostat wheel. Of course, the detachable part of the thermostat is cleaned in the dishwasher. The time and temperature of the selected dish is programmed and does not require setting. The power of the heating element is only of 800 W compared to the previous model with a power of 1100 W. The company explains this decision by the desire to reduce the load on the electrical network. Sockets of the electrical network in most modern kitchens are designed for 20 amperes. Accordingly, it can withstand loads of up to 2400 W at 120 volts without triggering an automatic fuse. But some buildings use electrical networks for 10 amperes. In this case, the 1100 W heating element requires full power, limiting the simultaneous use of other electrical appliances. Of course, this is not always convenient. Thus, power reduction of the new model reduces the risk of power failure due to too high a load. Moreover, Anova Precision Cooker works very quietly. Its noise level is only 20 dB near the circulator and 10 dB at a distance of 10 inches. Anova Cooker Wi-Fi generates an audio signal when the set temperature is reached. This model also has a regulation of the water flow direction from the pump, ensuring a uniform circulation of water throughout the pan.
Wi-Fi connection
Wi-Fi is the main improvement of the model. The lack of coverage limitations (unlike Bluetooth) ensures the use of this function from almost any point. Connection to the wireless network uses a Bluetooth-bridge that connects the device with an iOS / Android app. A special iPhone App provides a very simple cooking with a smartphone.

Unfortunately, model provides relatively low power. For example, heating 7 liters of water from 20.6 to 57.2 degrees requires 30 minutes. For comparison, a more powerful previous model provides a similar function for 24 minutes and 36 seconds.
