Season four of community gets a lot of unwanted shit. The only truly of objectionable thing that season is that Jeff didn’t go after the guy who sexually harassed Annie. You’re telling me the guy who’s been overprotective for the last three years wouldn’t go after a guy who is literally, sexually harassing his girl? Let’s see most out of character Shit I have ever seen.

I’m looking for a Jeff x Annie fanfiction and I need some help from the Community (no pun intended)

I’ve been searching and searching for a specific fanfic and I can not find it anywhere on either AO3 or FanFiction. I can’t recall the details perfectly, but this is what is coming to mind:

Set after Season 6, in Paris.

Jeff and Annie are in an established relationship.

Annie is a detective and is currently on an assignment, where she ends up getting shot. She has a partner named Jonathan, I believe.

While Annie is recovering from her gunshot wound, she is temporarily off of work and she and Jeff get to spend a couple of days together in Paris.

Jeff plans on proposing to Annie at the top of the Eiffel Tower, but the elevator is out of order, so he has to propose outside of the Eiffel Tower rather than on top of it. 

The fanfic is only a couple of chapters long and should only be somewhere between 2,000 and 15,000 words.

I have a sinking feeling that whoever the author was deleted the story from A03 and/or FanFiction. I’ve been looking for several hours now and I just can’t find it. If anyone happens to know who the author is, I would appreciate letting me know who it was. Maybe they’ll still have it saved somewhere and would be willing to send it to me.

Jeffannie is so needlessly complex and full of shame and guilt and that’s why it’s funny and fascinating. They could just be like “hey we’re adults and we like each other let’s try dating” but they don’t. They have to get jealous and panic and try to infantilize each other, or push each other away because they’re scared of what it’ll look like from the outside. Incredible use of will-they-won’t-they. You just keep hoping they’ll mature, but do they? Debatable
