You wondered how to convince the dev team to give Sephiroth a better outcome.
I have been trying to help get him a better outcome. I wrote a letter for him. I made many beautiful gifts for him. I made a petition. And I will continue to make things. If you want to help me, you can go here: https://chng.it/2swfrH6dfp
Or if you'd rather just give me suggestions, then please tell me any ideas you have. I owe my life to this character; my childhood was horror for a variety of complicated reasons, and his existence meant I wasn't alone, and knowing that I wasn't alone helped keep me breathing, so... now that I have an opportunity and the means, I would do almost anything to try to keep him safe.
I'm so sorry I went so long without seeing this! I've read many of your letters to him. You are very fond of the character and it seems like he has gotten you through some very difficult times in your life. I've been there, so I get it. These characters were created to entertain us, and entertainment brings pleasure, which distracts us from the hard times we're facing and that ultimately helps us heal.
If you're so inclined, here's a recipe I love and that my family loves. It was sent to my mom (RIP) by my cousin, who turns 92 this year. If you're vegetarian or vegan, you can find a substitute for the meat. Maybe he can learn to make it. It's okay if he burns it if he lines the bottom of a nonstick stock pot with the leftover cabbage leaves:
STUFFED CABBAGE CASSEROLE
Source: Ann Sullivan with modifications by Cassie Jackson
All of the flavor of traditional stuffed cabbage, but a quarter of the work!
1 lb ground 80/20 ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1 medium onion, diced
1 small to medium head of cabbage with outer leaves removed and set aside and core removed, chopped into strips
1 can of tomato soup
Water or beef broth
3 large garlic cloves, minced
1 cup of uncooked rice, rinsed thoroughly
1 egg
1 large can of diced tomatoes, undrained
1 large can of sauerkraut, drained
1-2 packages of kielbasa
Salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and smoked paprika to taste
In a large mixing bowl, combine beef, pork, onion, egg, uncooked rice and about ¼ of the can of tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and paprika. Mix with hands until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Form the meat mixture into balls about the size of golf balls.
Line the bottom of a large soup pot with the reserved outer cabbage leaves. Add layers of cabbage, then sauerkraut, then diced tomatoes (juice included), then some garlic. Add the meat mixture by pinching off golf ball sized amounts and either rolling them into balls or just dropping them into the pot. Repeat the layers until all of these ingredients are in the pot.
Put the tomato soup in a small bowl or measuring cup, then add the same amount of water. Whisk together. Add the mixture to the pot along with the remaining diced tomatoes and mix together.
Cook on medium low to medium heat for at least an hour, stirring occasionally. Cut the kielbasa into about 2 to 2-1/2” long pieces and add these to the pot, cooking for about another 30 minutes. It’s done when the meat balls are no longer pink in the middle and the rice is cooked. If desired, turn the heat down to its lowest setting and let the pot sit on the stove warming until ready to serve.
Leftovers can be frozen, but wait a day or two, because the longer it sits in the fridge, the more the flavors blend together, making it even better the next day and the day after.
Please be well. I'm rooting for you.

Would you have sex with the last person you text messaged?
Nah, but she's good people!
What are you excited for?
Halloweeeeeeeeen!
Who do you feel most comfortable talking to about anything?
Honestly? You and a couple of other people I've met through the PP fandom. Are the screens a crutch? Maybe a bit, but I think I'm also just at a point in my life when I'm able to be more vulnerable, and I've met some wonderful peeps.
Ever eat a pierogi?
I have, and I love them! One of my favorite fall meals is pierogis with onions, apples, turkey kielbasa, and a little cheddar cheese
What is your favorite book?
How dare you try to make me choose! 😭 Anne of Green Gables is up there, though.

I feel like Trump would take a piece of pornographic art of himself with a little dick more seriously than any list of charges we could throw at him. Like if all artists of tumblr today chose to take one for the team (because it's a gross concept, no doubt) and flood twitter with beautifully drawn depictions of our president yanking his little dick or whatever we could destroy him. His head would explode from the indignity of people refusing to draw him with a massive dong. And how would his supporters fight that? Start drawing art where he DOES have a big dick? Can you picture conservative Christian Carol Anne buying herself a tablet and dedicating a chunk of her day to not calling the police on black people in her neighborhood and instead drawing her beloved president like a French girl, just to tell people that she thinks he has a kielbasa cock and that the 'libtards' are ruining his reputation by drawing him as a baby carrot-cocked wonder? Can you?
#trump#i read that fun-fact about labeling xl condoms as mediums and dropping them on commies and now#i cant stop thinking about dick-based warfare#which is all warrfare lets be real

Parsnip and aloe vera? 🐃
Lee!!
Parsnip: Where are you from? What are your roots? - I grew up in a tiny, sleepy town in Connecticut (USA). My father’s grandparents all came over from the same village in Italy in the early 20th century to work as smiths in the silver factories. Legend has it one of my great grandmothers made my family leave because she was sick of Mt. Vesuvius breaking her dishes. One side of my mother’s family was mostly English and partly descended from a proto-feminist heretic Puritan who came over in 1635 and was sent into exile like that family in The Witch. (Whether or not actual witches were involved, I don’t know, but he was part of Anne Hutchinson’s movement, so I would be surprised if no one called him a witch.) My mother’s other side came from Poland and Lithuania, also in the early 20th century, and absolutely refused to talk about exactly where they came from or what happened or what their home and culture were like. Unless you count my great grandmother swearing in Polish and making my mom drive her to the one store in town that sold an acceptable kielbasa. Since I didn’t get to learn any Polish swear words and I had to sit in the car when they went shopping, I don’t think it counts. *shrugs*

Relationship Status: Single though the dish girls at work seem determined to set me up.
Favorite colors: Blue for sure, and deep purples and reds.
Lipstick or Chapstick: Chapstick.
Three favorite foods: Pasta, kielbasa, and chicken.
Song stuck in my head: It keeps going back and forth between “Hide the Wine” by Carly Pearce and “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks (the second because my shirt currently has the lyrics on it).
Last song I listened to: According to Spotify it was “Set Fire to the Rain” by Adele but before that it was “Who I am” by The Score *shrugs*
Last movie I watched: Captain America: The Winter Soldier because I wanted to watch a movie and that was what we all voted on.
Top 3 TV shows: (I’ve been binge watching lately for some reason so I’ll go with the last ones I watched) Supergirl, Anne with an “E”, and Grey’s Anatomy.
Book I’m currently reading: Well none at the moment. I did just read Court of Shadows by Madeleine Roux though. It’s book two of her latest series House of Furies. Highly recommended if you like Horror Gothic fiction with twists on mythical legends.
Last thing I googled: “Hide the Wine” to make sure I got the name of the artist right.
Current Time: 12:07 pm EST
How many blankets do I sleep with: Three. Yes three. It may be July 31st, but by my mom likes to keep the air set anywhere between 65F-68F and my one brother complains until you turn it down. And I’m naturally cold (slight pun intended).
Dream trip: Currently Paris, France. I decided on it back in December of last year after I missed the deadline to get SDCC tickets because I also missed the membership deadline and said to myself “fuck it, I could go to Paris with how much these tickets cost.” I pushed it back though to next year that way I have more time to save up money...and I also had to use some of that money to buy textbooks so...
Anything I want: Like any question I want or what do I want? Because I’d like to have my work schedule for this week by like yesterday and I’d like a couple thousand dollars for school. Or maybe for my car to pass inspection. Or for my brothers car to come back from the shop so he can stop using my car. As for questions I have none.

9 Best Rooftop Bars In The U.S.
One of the best ways to finish off a great evening out is with music, drinks and dancing at an amazing rooftop bar overlooking an electric skyline.
The view, the ambiance and the people all work together to make for a great experience. Here are some of the top-rated rooftop bars in the United States.
Westlight (Brooklyn, New York)
The revival of Brooklyn has turned it into a foodie capital and now a nightlife capital as well. Westlight presents a chic lounge with premier views of Manhattan from 22 floors up, while pairing Andrew Carmellini’s food with Anne Robinson’s intriguing original cocktails. Westlight is open all year, but it is at peak rooftop partying status during the warmer months.
P.O.V. Rooftop Lounge at the W (Washington, D.C.)
There is no better view of our nation’s landmarks without flying over the city. P.O.V. Rooftop Lounge is swanky and known for offering a chance to rub elbows with D.C.’s in-crowd. The bar features delicious seasonal drinks made with locally-sourced berries.
Cindy’s Rooftop (Chicago, Ilinois)
Cindy’s Rooftop bar is the place to be at happy hour. With views of Lake Michigan and Millennium Park, guests enjoy Cindy’s “Potions and Elixirs” such as “We’ll Always Have Paris” and “Grey Garden.” The most popular local brews, “Great Lakes, Edmund Fitzgerald Porter,” and “Off Color Tooth & Claw, Dry Hopped Lager,” are always a hit. Diners at Cindy’s Rooftop enjoy one of the best menus in Chicago.
Pearl’s Rooftop on the Sunset Strip (West Hollywood, California)
Los Angeles in the Roaring ’20s is alive again at Pearl’s Rooftop. Keep cozy near the fireplace while enjoying the stunning view of the Sunset Strip. A “Pink Pearl” cocktail is a tart, sweet mix of gin and Prosecco. Pearl’s menu features treats from half-pound burgers to ahi tuna-stuffed avocado. You never know which A-lister you’ll be hanging out with at Pearl’s.
Frolik Kitchen + Cocktails at Motif (Seattle, Washington)
Billed as the hippest rooftop bar in the northwest, Frolik Kitchen fills its 4,000 square foot space with roaring fireplaces, ping-pong tables and shuffleboard courts just a few feet from its posh, candle-lit bar overlooking the brilliance of Seattle’s downtown. Whether you go for one of the Pacific Northwest’s best local brews or accept the dare to try the specialty of the house cocktail, the “Troublemaker,” there’s nothing but great times for everyone at Frolik Kitchen.
Sugar at East (Miami, Florida)
There are few party towns like Miami, and Sugar at East is the place to hold your party in Miami. This Asian-influenced hotel has a 270-degree view of the city 40 floors up. Partiers love the garden décor and designer cocktails to match.
9 Mile Station (Atlanta, Georgia)
The rooftop of Atlanta’s old City Hall building is now a beer garden and much, much more. Enjoy 9 Mile Station‘s sumptuous menu offerings ranging from BBQ chicken to lamb Bolognese, whole fish, or silly sausages by the inch featuring bratwurst, merguez and kielbasa. Or treat your group of four to the 9 Mile picnic-basket at Skyline Park next door for carnival games and the best view of Atlanta’s shimmering cityscape.
Linger (Denver, Colorado)
Known for nightlife and its weekend Bears and Brunch, Linger is one of the liveliest bars in Denver. Well known for its eclectic fusion of gourmet global street foods, you’ll enjoy mixes of East Asian, Middle Eastern and Latin dishes. Don’t forget to taste their Mongolian barbecue duck buns or Yellowfin tuna tacos. Your drinks come from their Bar-V, which is a repurposed 1975 hippie RV. Their cocktails are as fun and funky as their food. There’s nowhere better to enjoy the Rocky Mountain high.
El Techo de Lolinda (San Francisco, California)
Nightlife with an Argentinian twist in the Mission District is all the rage. Take in the city while sipping your Bloody Maria or enjoying a pitcher of sangria with small plates of ceviche and empanadas. El Techo de Lolinda is popular from brunch bashes to a late night rendezvous.
Rooftop bars are hotter than ever and everyone can look forward to a great night out in just about any big city in the United States. Salut!

Sexual preferences: Sam & Gabriel And I'm not sure if you're a fan of Bucky Barnes so if you do feel free to do that one too
As Spiderman on Family Guy would say, “Everybody gets one”, so I chose Gabriel for you bahaha
This might be the one that gains 10′s across the board from me. I think in a past life, I was a Gabe girl, but that doesn’t matter right now.
Gabriel has this...this thing he does with everything. He’s gonna make you feel so god damn good, so good that sometimes you wonder if it’s even possible. He’ll have your ass singing Anne Murray in bed, “Or am I really lying here with you?” Those hands, tracing all over your body, making each and every nerve feel like it’s on fire. His attention to detail is phenomenal. Of course the first time you bang ain't perfect, because he doesn’t know your body, he doesn’t know the way you like to be handled.
But oh....oh honey, it only takes him one try to get it right. He’s dominant when you need it, submissive (admittedly bratty) when you crave it, and has this way that he kisses you, how he holds you, that no matter what he does, it feels so....right.
He could spend hours just learning your body. He loves kisses, possessive bites, holding you close to him and making you feel like the first and the last person he’ll ever fuck. We don’t need to mention his long, meaty cock -- oh wait I just mentioned it, it’s long and fat and I guess we need to just thank Chuck that he gave Gabriel this vessel. Bless it bless it, because that kielbasa is a lethal weapon.
DID I EVEN GET TO HIS STROKE GAME YET? HIS STROKE GAME IS JUST
Is it just me? Is it just me? Or is his dick so good that he shouldn’t have to fuck for free?
Whether he’s going fast or slow, he knows how to hit it, how to make you go “I can feel, the presence of the lord” whilst he’s dicking you down.
No wonder that he got Mary pregnant! He walked into Nazareth and had her throwing that ass in all sorts of shapes for that di
Had her forgetting she was a virgin for that di
Had her singing “My neck, my back” for that di
I gotta stop myself before I go on all day, 10/10 overall, 11/10 head game, ungodly/10 for his stroke game. Personally he’s a Gabriel/10. @mrsgabrieltrickster because you’re the biggest Gabe girl I know bahaha

Quincy Market Food Crawl: Tasty Treats in a Tourist Trap
Where to eat lunch at Quincy Market, if you must
Welcome back to Food Crawls, a series in which Eater Boston staffers guide you (virtually) on various food crawls in the Boston area.
When we go out, we often find ourselves wanting to try more than one restaurant at a time — a drink and a snack here, another drink and perhaps a dessert there — and want to share our favorite multi-stop combinations with you. These crawls are meant to be relatively walkable, and the amount of food and drink is meant to correspond roughly to a couple of average appetites (so bring a friend), although your mileage may vary. Email us if there’s a particular theme, specific dish or drink, or neighborhood you’d like to see covered in a future installment.
There’s a lotof good lunch food to be found near the Faneuil Hall Marketplace (4 S. Market St., Boston). The Boston Public Market is right down the street at Haymarket; the North End’s Hanover and Salem streets are a quick walk across the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway; sandwich shops like Al’s State Street Cafe and Chacarero are within walking distance. So why would anyone ever eat inside a tourist trap like Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall’s ever-crowded food court?
Terrence B. Doyle for Eater
Quincy Market, all dressed up for the holidays
To begin with, tourist traps exist for one reason: to trap the more underprepared and inexperienced among us while simultaneously tricking us into believing that the thing in which we’re participating is somehow exemplary of the place we’re visiting. If one does not plan every second of one’s Boston vacation — each meal included — one might find oneself hungry and unsure and deep in a post-Uniqlo afterglow, and then, ultimately, tricked into believing Quincy Market is Boston. Hell, it’s a National Historic Landmark, after all.
And while Quincy Market may be historical, it should not be the first or fifth or even seventieth spot on anyone’s “must go” Boston food list. All that said, there are some decent options inside this glorified mall food court. Here’s where and what to eat for a food crawl-style lunch if you find yourself lost in Quincy Market without a guidebook (or a smartphone).
Stats for this food crawl:
Total stops: 5
Total mileage: Like, 37 steps
Total buildings: 1
Total bread bowls eaten: 1
Total things one will be able to eat after consuming an entire loaf of bread hollowedout and filled with thick, creamy clam chowder: Zero, we hope
The Monster at the Dog House
Terrence B. Doyle for Eater
Baseball season is over, but the Dog House is still slinging Fenway Franks
Hot dogs are never a bad idea, and the Dog House offers a long list of tasty variations. It also hawks Italian sausages and Polish kielbasa, but go for a the “Monster” — it’s made with a Fenway Frank, and you can feel like you’re at a Sox game even if it’s late November.
French Fries at Fisherman’s Net
Terrence B. Doyle for Eater
Get golden, crispy french fries at Fisherman’s Net
I can’t speak for the fried clams or the chowder at Fisherman’s Net (though they are using Ipswich clams, so that’s a good start), but the french fries are extraordinary. They’re crispy and golden and salty, and they’re the perfect snack for the tourist who’s hungry but also wants to wait to really eat until figuring out a better dining location than Quincy Market.
Clam Chowder Bread Bowl at Boston Chowda Co.
Terrence B. Doyle for Eater
Say chowda!
Ignore the kitschy phonetic spelling and try the clam chowder because Boston Chowda Co. actually does a very good version, one that would be included on a list of the best clam chowders in Boston. For the more adventurous (and…insatiate) eater: Try the clam chowder-filled bread bowl. It’s decadent and kind of dumb, but the hollowed out round loaf functions as one giant oyster cracker. Perhaps avoid eating the entire bowl if you plan to continue on to the next stop of this food crawl.
M&M Cookie at Carol Ann Bake Shop
Terrence B. Doyle for Eater
All pastries are baked on site at Carol Ann
Okay, so M&M cookies aren’t exactly lunch food, but just think of this as the snack that bridges the gap between the horror of having to eat at Quincy Market and the elation that comes with finding a proper meal. The baked goods at Carol Ann Bake Shop are made fresh on site daily. Even Rachael Ray cosigns this spot. (For another sweet option, keep an eye out for the forthcoming Magnolia Bakery, slated to open at the end of 2017.)
A Slice at Pizzeria Regina
Terrence B. Doyle
The Quincy Market Pizzeria Regina
On second thought, ignore everything written above and head to the Pizzeria Regina kiosk for a slice of pepperoni. While this pie is certainly not as good as pies from the original Regina — a better analog would be an airport Sbarro’s, which is honestly fine! — it’s still the best bite in all of Quincy Market. Of course, the original Pizzeria Regina is a seven-minute walk from the kiosk in Quincy Market, so just do that instead. There might be a line, and it might be cold — but it will definitely be worth it.

Thanks for the tag!
3 ships: I’m on the opposite end of the spectrum--Edwin was the first thing I really shipped. Hiccstrid or Hiccup/Camicazi (when they’re older, naturally) depending on whether we’re talking HTTYD books or movies. And lately I’ve started shipping Ed/Winry/Ling/Lan Fan, partly because I think Ed and Lan Fan around each other’s influence would be the gremlins of the four of them (yes, even more so than Ling) and love triangles/love quadrangles are for cowards.
Last song: Ummmm.... I think it was probably the metal version of “Toxic” but “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash is what’s been playing nonstop in my head the last few days, does that count
Last movie: ...I do not remember. Probably Spirited Away? It’s been a while. I’ve been watching Ann Reardon and Overly Sarcastic Productions on youtube mostly.
Currently reading: I’ve been re-”reading” Brian Jacques’ Redwall series on audiobook. The last physical book I looked at was Howl’s Moving Castle.
Currently watching: Overly Sarcastic Productions trying to recreate the Journey to the West in Minecraft. ART.
Currently craving: kielbasa probably

I almost always stick to the “keeping things canon + keeping things wholesome” stance but I,,, do not like Winry for Ed at all oops. Plus the girls are really cute with each other in 03-
Last song: “Brothers” from the 2003 sountrack hehe
Last movie: If you count long episode specials, the Miraculous New York special!! If not, then I think the last movie I saw in full was Django Unchained with my dad- Very bloody, ick- but p good uwu
Currently reading: a series by Charlien on fanfiction.net spanning several fics and something like 600,000 words total- HeiEd, of course- I’ve cried a lot oh my god it’s a really good story, very ouch as an Alfons kinnie tho-

Celebrating Canada's Top Women in Defence 2019
Mateo Peralta
Esprit de Corps’ 2019 Breaking Down the Barricades: Women in Defence World awards ceremony saw a diversity of dignitaries and military professionals come together to recognize and celebrate the achievements of this year’s 21 award recipients.
A warm spring breeze welcomed the winners and contributed to the swelling sense of pride that was evident in the Sacred Space room at Beechwood National Memorial Centre.
Beechwood representative Nicholas McCarthy and magazine publisher Scott Taylor kicked the night off and were followed by a video presentation of the history of women in the Canadian Armed Forces.
The awards from Esprit de Corps, based on nomination submissions and peer review, are now in their fifth year running and Taylor commented on this milestone in his opening remarks.
“As soon as we did it, word came back and said we can’t not do it again because I know somebody who’s my colleague, I know somebody who’s my mentor who had to be nominated.” The awards and their importance only grew from that point, with the numerous women nominated receiving their own recognition and certificates as of last year.
One by one, the women took to the stage to receive their 2019 Women in Defence plaques, while representing nearly all of the nation’s provinces in the process. From advocating for veterans, to innovating defence-related technology in the business world, and standings on guard for their country and serving in all three service branches the women featured at the event came from a diversity of backgrounds.
In a first for Esprit de Corps and the women in defence awards, Maj Ann Lockhart and MWO Margaret Stawarz were nominated and awarded as a duo of women that have broken down barriers in the defence world. While receiving their awards, the two women along with the crowd laughed as they shuffled about and accommodated one another on the stage for a photo.
MGen (Ret’d) Lewis MacKenzie and LGen Charles Lamarre addressed and thanked the award recipients for their dedication to Canada both inside and out of their professional lives.
Following the lively performance of an original song titled “Honour and Pride” by Jean Miso, an award-recipient herself, event sponsor Commissionaires closed the awards ceremony.
The night was only just beginning as guests enjoyed a diversity of food and drink, generously donated by various high commissions and embassies. The reception dinner featured Serbian cevaps, German pretzels, South Korean bolgogi, Polish kielbasa, Turkish baklava, and fine Chinese whiskey.
The event saw individuals from incredibly different backgrounds enjoying traditional foods from all over the world.
The one thing that everyone attending had in common, however, was a shared pride in the women who had worked so hard and in their own unique ways, broken down barriers in the defence world.
