Episode 8 of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin — Bad Blood.

Before the next episode we need to have another talk about Pretty Little Liars Summer School!

First of all, Kelly, my girl, please stay alive!!! WE NEED YOU! I NEED YOU!

Now that we got that out of the way--- here are some thoughts:

The school situation is still sus to me. A friend of mine also thought it was suspicious for all of them to have to go to summer school

The cult of Bloody Rose is a mirror to the church. As we saw with the SpookySpaghetti video. So that means Bloody Rose's cult has an inner circle as well. In that inner circle everyone is working together to test the liars. Everyone brings in a motive or is blindly following. The cults leaders will be at least two people. I could imagine some mothers working together (Mrs Beasley, Mrs Langsberry, Mrs Nobel).

If Wes is part of this Bloody Rose thing I'm dissapointed

Karen or Angela are high on my suspect list for Bloody Rose! The limping and the bloody eye. Mouse's grandmother also said Bloody Rose called from the other side and that she pretended to me Mouse's friend. (How much can we trust her?)

Bloody Rose is definitely more than one person. How did she get down the trail so fast to catch the dog, during Noa's trial? Noa was running down there and Bloody Rose is always seen limping...

Something's up with Greg - Not saying he's part of Bloody Rose, BUT he appears a lot in this season and it's starting to give me a weird feeling

I had a dream last night about Bloody Rose being Rose Waters's secret twin sister o_o

What actually happened to Archie and Clanton??? We just never heard from them again.

I feel bad for Shawn and Jen. You cab dislike Jen all you want, but Noa is just playing with both of their feelings. It's obvious Jen was still into her from the start and wanted more and instead of cutting it out she played right into it, while also being with Shawn. I was genuinely surprised at how cold Noa could be, when she threw Jen out of her house and told her she chose Shawn. The way her face and her voice just turned so cold and hurtful was just wow (Really great scene from her actress). I kind of hope she doesn't end up with either of them in the end.

Either Johnny, Shawn or Greg will probably be killed off next episode. KELLY STAY ALIVE PLS!

Side Note: We need Kelly x Faran! Let Kelly finally be with the liars! T_T

Crazy PLL Original Sin Theory #2

So, one of my biggest questions going into this show was how they were going to explain this villain going be "A". Like, it's not as if Millwood is on the complete other side of the country. It's literally 30 minutes down the road from Rosewood. Yes, I understand it's probably supposed to stand for Angela. But, you expect me to believe that not a single person will think it's strange that when this all comes out into the open that this Masked Man who has been terrorizing this young group of girls is using the same exact moniker as hooded/coated/uber variety from down the road, that no one is going to find that strange?

So. I wanted there to be some type of explanation, though I didn't want to get my hopes up.

Angela Water's mom, Rose was in Radley Sanitorium from very early 2000 to when it closed down (around 2012) before being released. Girl was there for the entire saga: Cece/Charles, Bethany Young, Marion Cavenaugh's death, the 10,000 breakouts, Jessica DiLaurentis's visits, Mona's stay after the first "A" reveal, Spencer's psychotic break after Toby's supposed death, Aria's stint as a candy striper, Mona going back after confessing to shooting Wilden.

Goodness.

If she's still alive and well, she literally got an entire play by play on masterpiecing gaslighting, gatekeeping and girlbossing from the queen of the alphabet herself, Mona Vanderwaal. I wouldn't be displeased if this was how they chose to explain this part of the story.

Idk man something's in the air recently.. Damien has always looked adoringly at her but it's even MORE so now. And Angela is looking so much fonder at him too. "Aww Damien's laugh is still kinda the same" *she says in the softest fondest voice while being the living embodiment of the 🥺🥰 emojis* lives RENT FREE in my head. I love seeing how much closer they keep getting. Idk what changed but I'm loving it

8x17 Don't Drink the Water

Now this is the 9-1-1 I came to love. Parts of it really felt like reading fan fiction in the best way possible.

Can we talk about the acting? Oliver Stark, the actor you are. Tracie Thoms, I wanna kiss you on the mouth. Ryan Guzman does quiet desperation like no one's business. Kenny and Jennifer play off of each other so well.

I really enjoyed the emergencies. They were quick, fun and suspenseful. All just the right amount. I love these emergencies where people need to come together to provide help. 9-1-1 always does it so, so well. Plus, seeing Maddie being a competent bad ass is always a joy.

We had some unexpected duos in this episode and I couldn't be more delighted. Karen and Athena were amazing and I loved Karen saying they are not co-workers but a family. And seeing the kids is always a treat. As is the continued closeness between the Hans and the Wilsons.

I wonder how the captaincy issue will be resolved. While I think Buck will make a wonderful captain one day, and soon. This is not the right time at all. I can understand why Hen would turn the job down. And I think it is pretty great development for her to acknowledge both her weaknesses and her actual wants and needs. Eddie is the last person who should be a captain even though he would probably be good at it. But it would be so bad for him. So I'm wondering if they are aiming for Captain Chim.

I guess we'll see in the next episode.

And now to the most anticipated part.

Eddie was being a dick in their first scene and I'm glad the narrative both acknowledged it and also the consistency of his tendency to lash out when in pain and overwhelmed. The fact it is usually at Buck is also so telling. Because he knows he is safe with Buck. I also love how his handling the aftermath of these outbursts showed how far he came. He now knows what they are and how to take responsibility for them and mend what might have been broken in the midst of the pain. And definitely how to read and handle his own feelings much better than just repress until he burst. We love a good and consistent character growth. And Ryan is doing fantastic job with all parts of it. That little glimpse at his reaction to the phone call - chef's kiss.

I was also glad for the little glimpse at angry Buck. We rarely see it.

I loved Eddie's talk with Hen and Karen. How open he was and also the set up we did anticipate, of him having two offers on the table. And that Freudian slip :D

Oliver at the confessional almost broke me. That was such a well written and beautifully acted scene.

And Buck talking to Pepa about his grief? And how to handle so much pain? I didn't know I needed this but it was so great. To have this sign that they indeed do have a close relationship.

Eddie bringing Chris back from Texas is such a wonderful set up. As wonderful as was the little moment with Buck and Chris.

This episode opened a lot of doors and the quality makes me even more pissed about the mess that were the last two eps.

There is quite a lot to do in just one episode, so let's hope they didn't bite off more than they can chew. But I'm at least curious, instead of resigned, so there is that.

-Curly was born out of an affair

-They all share the same mom, but Curly has a different father. He was born 9 months after Angela- and it was meant to be 10 he was just premature. When Tim and Angela’s dad found out, him and their mom had a huge fight that Tim overheard and Angela- who was like one- only knows about because of comments their mom made. He ended up getting super drunk and crashed his car, running over the other man in the process who was also drunk

-Curly never met his birth father, but their mom got remarried like a year later and their step-dad fucking hated curly so much and was actually very abusive to him

-Curly found out because of a fight between him and Tim OR his mom said something

(PLEASE I actually need to tap about this so badly)(just let me flesh it out a bit more)

-Tim moved out when he was 16 and Buck helped him get a house. Angela moved in when she was around 13 and Curly a year later(I’m gonna work on the timeline later)

-Tim is 19-20, Angela 15-16, Curly 13-14. I haven’t decided yet

-Curly and Tim both have blue eyes while Angels are brown, and if that’s any different in canon I have not read That Was Then, This Is Now. Their mom had rlly strong genes that hated Angela ig

-Curly gets compared a lot to Tim and it actually annoys him because he does not want to live in Tim’s shadow

-When Curly’s in reformatory, Angela gets rid of most of the dust in his room because it makes him sneeze and she doesn’t want to hear him groan and moan about it(and totally not because she loves him)

-they actually do love each, but because of the environment they grew up in they don’t know how to show it

-Curly is crazy good at first aid and patching up wounds because of his step dad and he got bored and took a first aid course in reformatory or school, but sometimes he’ll go to his siblings because he just wants someone else to do it

-Idk why but I lowkey hc Curly as trans- ftm

-Angela and Curly go out to smoke and just kinda walk around town for a while when one of them is upset or sm

-When Curly first came to Tim broken and bloody from their step-dad, Tim stayed by him all night and like cried for 5 minutes

-Angela paints her nails dark blue to try and match with her brothers- not that she’d ever tell them

-They all hate winter

-Curly and/or Tim have the occasional habit of stuffing out cigarettes on their arms or shoulders

-They all have tattoos on their forearms: Angela’s is a wilting rose and I have no clue what Tim or Curly’s are

-Angela cuts Curly’s hair while Tim does his own

-They all have their own room but they’re all kinda small and Tim has the habit of falling asleep on the couch Andy they don’t really have bed frames

-They all hate fish

-Curly’s got a bunch of scars from roughhousing, his step-dad, his own stupidity, and his own bad habits

-Curly likes chewing gum but isn’t that big of a fan of popping it

-Curly is the only one that can actually kinda cook because lord knows his parents didn’t- Tim and Angela usually just swipe take out or have something they heat up. They know basics but curly lowkey knows a bit more

-Angela has a habit of twirling her hair between her fingers

-They all like rock music

-Curly got so many concussions as a kid, Tim and Angela were worried he’d have permanent damage

-Curly can’t go a day without bruised knees- or just bruises in general

-They call Curly ‘curly fry’ to piss him off bc he actually doesn’t like curly fries specifically. Really the only fries he doesn’t like

-Curly knows sign language. Idk why he just does

-Curly’s a drop out bc let’s be honest they could NOT afford school, so Pony comes by occasionally to teach him what they’re learning bc Curly hates feeling stupid compared to others or sm I don’t know

-they all have piercings
