Before the next episode we need to have another talk about Pretty Little Liars Summer School!

First of all, Kelly, my girl, please stay alive!!! WE NEED YOU! I NEED YOU!

Now that we got that out of the way--- here are some thoughts:

The school situation is still sus to me. A friend of mine also thought it was suspicious for all of them to have to go to summer school

The cult of Bloody Rose is a mirror to the church. As we saw with the SpookySpaghetti video. So that means Bloody Rose's cult has an inner circle as well. In that inner circle everyone is working together to test the liars. Everyone brings in a motive or is blindly following. The cults leaders will be at least two people. I could imagine some mothers working together (Mrs Beasley, Mrs Langsberry, Mrs Nobel).

If Wes is part of this Bloody Rose thing I'm dissapointed

Karen or Angela are high on my suspect list for Bloody Rose! The limping and the bloody eye. Mouse's grandmother also said Bloody Rose called from the other side and that she pretended to me Mouse's friend. (How much can we trust her?)

Bloody Rose is definitely more than one person. How did she get down the trail so fast to catch the dog, during Noa's trial? Noa was running down there and Bloody Rose is always seen limping...

Something's up with Greg - Not saying he's part of Bloody Rose, BUT he appears a lot in this season and it's starting to give me a weird feeling

I had a dream last night about Bloody Rose being Rose Waters's secret twin sister o_o

What actually happened to Archie and Clanton??? We just never heard from them again.

I feel bad for Shawn and Jen. You cab dislike Jen all you want, but Noa is just playing with both of their feelings. It's obvious Jen was still into her from the start and wanted more and instead of cutting it out she played right into it, while also being with Shawn. I was genuinely surprised at how cold Noa could be, when she threw Jen out of her house and told her she chose Shawn. The way her face and her voice just turned so cold and hurtful was just wow (Really great scene from her actress). I kind of hope she doesn't end up with either of them in the end.

Either Johnny, Shawn or Greg will probably be killed off next episode. KELLY STAY ALIVE PLS!

Side Note: We need Kelly x Faran! Let Kelly finally be with the liars! T_T

Crazy PLL Original Sin Theory #2

So, one of my biggest questions going into this show was how they were going to explain this villain going be "A". Like, it's not as if Millwood is on the complete other side of the country. It's literally 30 minutes down the road from Rosewood. Yes, I understand it's probably supposed to stand for Angela. But, you expect me to believe that not a single person will think it's strange that when this all comes out into the open that this Masked Man who has been terrorizing this young group of girls is using the same exact moniker as hooded/coated/uber variety from down the road, that no one is going to find that strange?

So. I wanted there to be some type of explanation, though I didn't want to get my hopes up.

Angela Water's mom, Rose was in Radley Sanitorium from very early 2000 to when it closed down (around 2012) before being released. Girl was there for the entire saga: Cece/Charles, Bethany Young, Marion Cavenaugh's death, the 10,000 breakouts, Jessica DiLaurentis's visits, Mona's stay after the first "A" reveal, Spencer's psychotic break after Toby's supposed death, Aria's stint as a candy striper, Mona going back after confessing to shooting Wilden.

Goodness.

If she's still alive and well, she literally got an entire play by play on masterpiecing gaslighting, gatekeeping and girlbossing from the queen of the alphabet herself, Mona Vanderwaal. I wouldn't be displeased if this was how they chose to explain this part of the story.

Imagine a quickie with Angela in the backseat of her car while at a rest stop on a road trip with the smosh cast..

it's definitely the culmination of hours of teasing her while she drives, hours of hands with white knuckles gripping the steering wheel as tight as possible in an effort to keep one from touching you the way she's been aching to.

it's the middle of the night and the rest of the cast is either inside the building or in their own cars when angela returns to the car. the sound of one of the back doors opening rather than the driver's side front door startles you a little, but when you turn to look behind you, you relax when you see angela climbing in before slamming the door shut.

"come here. now." the demand leaves angela's mouth at the same time she reaches forward to pull you by the collar of your shirt. you have just enough time to hurriedly unbuckle your seat belt before you feel the collar of your shirt digging into your throat, forcing you to comply with her demand and climb between the front seats to get to the back.

"here? now? angela, we've only got, like, ten more minutes before we have to leave." despite your words, you initiate a searing kiss, pouring every ounce of lust you've been consumed with all day into it as you're pulled on top of your girlfriend.

breaking the kiss, angela's already slightly out of breath as her desperate hand grabs yours and slips it underneath the waistbands of both her pants and her underwear, pressing your fingers between soaked folds. with a shuddering gasp, she responds, "you should've thought about that before you spent all day making me this wet."

your resolve was already weak to begin with but the moan of satisfaction that escapes angela's throat as your fingers begin to rub circles around her swollen clit makes the decision for you -- you're going to fuck her in the back seat of this car and you're going to do it right fucking now.

bc i cant resist talking about this. The jokes about the weirdness of Mia's hair/it's unnatural movement are VERY funny and her hair is SUPER wack, well deserved lmfao.

BUT for anyone interested, it has historically been quite difficult to accurately animate hair and fur in 3D, esp in things like games where the movement and interactions are not predictable- aka, its not just simulating it once and recording it, but trying to figure out how to make it organically, naturally move based on unpredictable input. (like someone controlling a character in a game) This is because there are an immense amount of small physics interactions and events happening simultaneously that comprise the way we percieve hair (or fur) to move. This then changes further depending on the texture of the strands, whether they are wet or dry, etc. The typical physics tactic of coding in known behaviour based on certain interactions between objects breaks down a bit with such a large volume of items.

Computing the actual individual interactions between individual hairs using a physics based model, would get you closer to actual movement but quickly becomes very expensive, as you can imagine, (constantly computing physics interactions for thousands of individual hairs).

There have been a number of ways to deal with this issue over time, cheat it a bit/make the performance feasible. You'll notice in older games hair or fur is typically either a flat surface with some coloring/lighting on it to make it seem like a certain texture (more common for fur), or just a. flat line or block without an actual attempt to make the actual movements of esch individual hair. Animation of animal fur is often done in patches instead of treating it as individual hairs or all just a plane, which is why furry animals in video games might look a little like their fur is matted vs all flowing smoothly and softly. Brave did some interesting tech to correctly depict curly hair in a way that feels "right".

anyway. its a fun topic. i find it interesting. cant find a general history video about it like the lecture i attended about it, but there are tons of interesting papers on it as the resesrch and work around this is still ongoing.
