Objectivity not Psychopathy
The Good Psychopath's Guide to Success By: Andy McNab, Kevin Dutton Dear Kevin Dutton, I love the objective story-telling of McNab and others like him, but our belittled, dominated sons of mothers, DO have non-objective, lustful/emotional needs for a female.
Objective normality:
There are a few men who don’t allow that gullible side to have power over their actions around women, who use that self-control and discipline to guide their thinking, even around women. One well-known man, I follow, who has that mindset, was also in the SAS reserves, is my human encouragement in this over-powered female era, even though -I would argue -his mindset is a bit messed up by the half century-old feminist zeitgeist. Suffragettes and feminism is one of the main delusions of this age [in my humble, and not very popular opinion- but that’s another bugbear for a different time!] But going back to this so-called psychopathy when yet another woman gets that space in McNab’s life, where the psychopathy then? It ain’t there in that situation, because he has not mastered it. I’m just using that as an example of my title.
Objectivity not Psychopathy As with all human beings, our outward man [non gender specific – scriptural use] is extremely affected by nurture, or lack of good nurture. Scripturally, along with other forms of therapeutic efforts, we may understand that our inner man [again, my Scriptural use of this concept] is also affected by our family spiritual/soul-tie legacy. So that is the beginnings of our human make-up, even before we reach an age of understanding/consent/self-awareness. Without going in to specifics of other spiritual adversities, we respond to life from the above foundations. Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…” We all have that basis in our acceptance of who we are, and what we are here for.
Many parents do not have a lovely nurturing personality within them. This helps us understand why so many of us fall short of being a happy, well-balanced, confident individual. Nurture – or lack of it – produces our main responses to life. No blame needs to be spread about, just an understanding of the forces against many of us on this earth.
So when I have observed the ability of some people to go about the world with an innate friendliness and expectancy [and consequently: receiving] of friendliness, I can understand why this was never my own foundational experience. Not only that, but I observed that when I spoke plain truth in my own objective and unfettered exposition, I managed to upset people. Yet when I listened to their own explanation of my ‘mistaken’ opinions, I found that they were speaking from their own emotional disposition, but yet it actually backed up my own words, but the interpretation is individualistic. That is the conflict: emotion versus objectivity. I can see the big picture, i.e. my mind encapsulates memory of events and results of said events. Whereas, I have come to understand that most people can only receive the immediate as truth. They generally fall down on keeping a perspective of the big picture. To me that again speaks of emotional response to immediate events versus the inevitability of THE BIG PICTURE. Restrictive emotional response, versus objectivity [unblinkered-by emotional subjectivity]. I used to think my personality was psychopathic, but I have come to understand, that God’s formation of my personality was not different to others, in that I’m not a rogue element in this life!! Psalms 139 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I don’t believe God’s formation was psychopathy, but objectivity, and it is a characteristic which is not often put into a person.
Dutton's last questionnaire:
how good are you at uncoupling behaviour from emotion?
My point precisely

Happy Birthday Sam Roland Heughan, born 30th April 1980 in Balmaclellan, Dumfries and Galloway.
Sam got his name from the Lord of the Rings character Samwise Gamgee. his parents were big fans of the Tolkien books. He attended Kells Primary School in New Galloway before the family moved to Edinburgh when he was 12, he went to James Gillespie’s on the edge of the meadows before finishing his school education at the prestigious Rudolph Steiner School.
After leaving School at 18 Sam worked and travelled before returning to Scotland and enrolling in the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, graduating in 2003.
Sam built a solid career in theatre in both Scotland and England starring in productions of Plague Over England, Macbeth, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Amphibians, and King John. He has also been featured in notable indie films, Emulsion, and Heart Of Lightness but of course it is one particular role that has catapulted him into worldwide stardom, that of Jamie Fraser in Outlander.
For those who don’t know Outlander it follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who finds herself hurled back in time to the 1740’s in and around the time when The Jacobites and Bonnie Prince Charlie made the final ill fated attempt to put the Stuarts back on the throne. Sam plays Claire’s “love interest” she is forced to marry. Further series are set in the US in the 1770’s, their remains a strong Scottish presence in the cast, and the show is filmed in studios in Cumbernauld. Sam has won a number of awards for the series.
In the movie To Olivia he played Hollywood star Paul Newman and in the adaptation of the Andy McNab book, SAS: Red Notice, he played SAS soldier Tom Buckingham. Oor birthdat boy also teamed up with fellow Outlander star Graham McTavish Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham. The series follows the pair as they explore their homeland delving into the culture and history of Scotland, in a light-hearted way. The second series of the show aired last year, the reviews were mainly positive. The duo are already looking at a third journey, this time to North America but that will likely involve indulging Heughan's thrill-seeking side - much to his friend's dismay
Sam also appeared in the psychological series The Couple Next Door last year, I am yet to catch this, it has average reviews on IMDB of 5.6 out of ten. Born to be Great the story of Alexander The Great's early life has been completed but is yet to recieve a release date.
According to reports Sam celebrated his birthday in Edinburgh at the weekend while also running his My Peak Challenge which included workouts, outdoor activities and a gala night with dinner and dancing. He posted on Instagram describing the event as a 'unique blend of wellness, camaraderie, celebration and more'. The peakers, as they are known has raised millions for charities including Marie Curie.

“In contrast to the regular army, the emphasis in the Regiment is on self-discipline. On personal responsibility. They assume you want to be there. And if you aren’t where you need to be with all the kit you need to have then you obviously don’t.”

SAS: Red Notice’ in Development 🤔
SAS: Red Notice 2 or
SAS: Rise of the Black Swan 2
SH’s film was retitled SAS: Rise of the Black Swan on Netflix to avoid confusion with the Netflix-produced film Red Notice, which was also released in 2021.
Coincidentally Red Notice 2 with Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson, and Gal Gadot, are prepared to dive back into their roles. expected to arrive by mid-2025 or late 2025.
SAS: Red Notice is based on Andy McNab’s book, and (SAS, 2) it is SAS: Fortress, and is not SAS: Red Notice 2. it’s a trilogy.
SAS: Red Notice, also known as SAS: Rise of the Black Swan, was a thoroughly mediocre action thriller. Sam Heughan's portrayal of Tom Buckingham didn't particularly stand out. SH will stop talking about James Bond once and for all.
Posted 16th May 2024
@bestjaydee - SH fans tend to reason more on the protagonist rather than the film itself or Andy McNab's book idea. They always overvalue his mediocre performance without understanding the requirements of playing the role. His fans can buy anything he sells or spend much money to get a glimpse of him but they will never make him a good actor.
In comparison, "Red Notice," with its A-list actors, is expected to be a more enjoyable adventure than the "SAS: Rise of the Black Swan" sequel.
@fantasy-sci-fi-tv-girl - If SAS: Red Notice did well in streaming rentals, it was because it found an audience among Outlander fans, who outrageously inflated review numbers. SH doesn't have enough skill to justify her character in the film with a cast that simply doesn't have enough charisma to fully engage viewers.
The important UK Critic's Consensus was Whether it's called SAS: Red Notice or SAS: Rise of the Black Swan, this is a thoroughly mediocre action thriller, that has been done before and executed better, trying to make a weak actor in a spy. Andy McNab's books had so much potential, but they decided to ruin it.
The UK reviews are important because the film is about a British author’s books and they know how the SAS works, and SH was an unequal special forces operator. They could make a second film or three if the new director wants because the Tom Buckingham series is a trilogy. But SH will never be on par with a SAS operator. Although a sequel to Sky Cinema's 2021 original, SAS: Red Notice, is reportedly in development, it's unclear if Sam will return to the cast.

“The central London district known as the City is a strange mixture of architecture. As we left the subway station. we passed grand buildings made up of columns and puritanically straight lines - the old Establishment. Turn a corner and we were confronted by monstrosities that were built in the sixties and early seventies by architects who must have taken a “Let’s go fuck up the City” pill.

DM: Veterans Call Out H's HOI Lies by u/Common_Echo6265
DM: Veterans Call Out H's HOI Lies Key excerpts from DM (https://ift.tt/0RwDTbe, https://ift.tt/ZR81hTB Former Royal Marine Ben McBean, 36, lost an arm and a leg to a landmine blast in Helmand Province, Afghanistan in 2008, aged just 20 and reportedly inspired the Prince's Invictus Games for disabled servicemen. But taking Twitter, Ben hit out at the Prince's claim the UK press had overlooked wounded troops and wrote: 'Still love Harry but again I have to disagree. Not sure what media he's on about but I know the British media did cover veterans for years.'The news comes as other commanders and senior veterans rounded on the prince over his comments, with SAS hero Andy McNab saying: 'To claim media outlets weren’t fighting for our injured servicemen is offensive and rubbish.'Ex-forces commander Lord Richard Dannatt echoed the late Queen, saying: 'Recollections may vary.' The 72-year-old veteran was Chief of the General Staff when Harry served and brokered the news blackout deal which enabled his tour to go ahead.Colonel Richard Kemp, the former commander of the British forces in Afghanistan, said the prince's constant media sniping of his family was turning servicemen and women against him. 'Unfortunately he has blown most of that away now. A combination of him turning on his own family, the Royal Family, which means such a lot to the armed forces, and his attempt to exploit his own service for his own publicity purposes. We only need to think back about what he said about how he killed so many Taliban members a short while ago in his memoir Spare.... What [Harry] was doing was fighting a very, very remote distance, not the kind of thing in my view that would result in in serious stress and PTSD.' post link: https://ift.tt/qTUfEXL author: Common_Echo6265 submitted: August 31, 2023 at 08:24PM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit

McNabb didn't "choke" in the Superbowl. And give Andy a break about mismanaging the clock when he did everything else he possibly could to coach the Avengers into nearly defeating Thanos without any deus ex machina bull shit.
Just pure gumption and genius coaching. But nothing beats Brady and Bellichek when Gronk and Brady are in sync. Even as a fucking AARP member with the fucking Tampa Bay Rays he's still formidable and a regular contender for the Superbowl today.
In the 90's The trio was an unstoppable force that just plowed up and down the field and every possession ended in a TD.
The 2004 Eagles kept up with Brady.
And that hall of fame defense fucked him up like the spirit of Reggie White possessed them. They made him cry and throw a tantrum and got dirt on his uniform. And turf in his face mask. Hitting and hurrying Brady almost every down against the very best offensive line money and guaranteed Superbowl rings can buy.
And fucking Brady just got even better.
And yet. And yet with Terrell Owens on a broken leg playing half speed yet doing outrageous plays and a nervous McNabb playing extremely competently using his legs and working well with Westbrook doing his magic and Owens showboating, Andy Reid almost did it. He almost got his offense to keep up with Brady and slow Brady down enough to give Donovan a chance to win.
But McNab let the pressure get to him at the end and stopped having fun. And began to hesitate and second guess instead of just instinctively having fun and playing at his usual superhuman level.
He just got nervous. Probably for the first time in his life. A real chance to beat Brady! And win the Superbowl for Philly at last! With his favorite teammates and coach Andy Reid! (Andy Reid is what Joe Paterno pretended to be.)
Donovan McNabb got nervous because only Tom Brady wouldn't get nervous at the thought of facing Brady let alone hoping to beat him in the Superbowl when he was playing top of his game. So Donovan "choked" and made some shit plays at the end there. But up till then he had danced up and down the field vs the Patriots defense and kept up with Brady blow for blow. McNabb was beautiful that day.
Andy Reid was on his game too and against all odds almost lead the Avengers to victory against Brady.
But Brady and Bellicheck with Gronk on his game is absolutely invincible. Just an unstoppable force where you are hoping for a failed 1st down run and and short second to make for a long third and then some kind of miracle stop or on third and long. The best defense was to try and draw fouls. Because you can't stop the guy. You just have to slow him down and hope for one or pray for two bad throws this 3rd down.
Like, third and thirty five was difficult but doable most possessions.
Eagles actually hit that smug father fucker a whole bunch on his way up and down the field. It didn't stop him. But it was hella fun to watch as my team almost beat Brady in his prime, but nothing could ever beat Brady in his prime. Even on his bad days he was nothing short of perfect and intelligent and creative and instinctual that borders on godlike.
I hate his guts and I just don't know why. He seems hella nice. He's too good looking and dates a model but good for him on all of that. I'm happy to see decent guys win the lottery. But I still don't like him. Such is life. I wish him well in everything but football. Get sacked Brady.
But yeah, no body, no matter how well prepared, trained and superhuman can be perfect for the entire Superbowl. You are going to lose some possessions without having scored.
The Eagles were a true Super Bowl team. Any other decade they would have won any Super Bowl against any team outside of the 2000's Patriots. They made every offensive line in the NFL look silly and picked off future hall of famers every other down.
The Lombardi Trophy belonged to Brady back then. Pure and simple. It was just who is going to lose spectacularly in the Super Bowl after playing big fish in a small pond till now.
Eagles almost beat Brady in his prime, but nothing can keep up with a demigod.
I submit that the 2004 Eagles were a feat of genius by Andy
He was able to cobble together a really good team around his star QB and other key players who are all hall of famers now. And I don't know how he snatched up Owens. Owens was amazing. He just had a big mouth and was a showboat. He backed up every boast too and made the greatest future hall of famer DBs miss every single time. And everyone loved it. Except the fucking racist NFL.
Andy managed to cobble together this amazing 2004 Eagles team and got them working together even though they didn't like each other at first and help them run together so well that he almost took this army of reject NFL superheroes up against Thanos and won.
He had a Lawful Good Deadpool instead of Captain America leading the charge. And Neutral Good Don't Give A Fuck Decent Guy Deadpool With a sharpie up his sleeve carving up the captains of Thanos. And Mysteriously unknown preternatural undersized Black Panther Westbrook conducting acrobatic feats y'all wouldn't believe today. Even still that man's shit was like watching Black Panther dance around dealing broken ankles and first downs out of third and long every time McNabb got in trouble.
Even the Avengers can't beat 2000s Brady.
Give McNabb and Andy Reid their due respect. They almost did the impossible together. Don't give them such trash about minor little lapses in perfection. You aren't the God of Noah.
You are an Eagles Fan! And you cheered through fucking Buddy Ryan's bullshit. Andy Reid and McNabb almost took down Brady in his prime! You should celebrate that team!
#ph4wg#ph4wg original#2004 Eagles#Donovan McNabb#Terrell Owens#Brian Westbrook#Andy Reid#The only Superbowl where the Eagles weren't robbed by the refs#Nobody can beat Brady#fuck Tom Brady#Tom Brady is the GOAT#Why God?#Nobody can be Brady#Except Eli Manning#snort#Archies goofball son beat Brady with the fucking New York Giants and Michael Strahan#google eli manning at the beach#THAT guy beat Brady looking like that#i think I'm always mad at myself because i compare myself to the Bradys of this world when I'm just a Terrell Owens#when you compare yourself to perfection you are going to need therapy#when you are measuring how much closer to Brady level you are#how far you still have to go#instead of concentrating on how far you've come#life is about growth and change#life is not about perfection or attempting to get closer to it#that's what's fucking us up#grading everything and everyone against perfect

Behind the Screens: Tuesday Author Interview
I'm big into science fiction, sports biographies and espionage thrillers. I've read every single one of Andy McNab's Nick Stone series and always find them really good reads. My favourite of all-time is my namesake William Gibson, of Neuromancer fame...
Every Tuesday, get to know a bit about the stories behind the books you love, and discover your next favourite novel. abitha: We’re delighted to have Will Gibson here (not William!) to talk about his science fiction novel The Unravelling. Will, want to start with an introduction to your book? Will: In the year 2038, a disillusioned English boy’s audacious plan to save his beloved Asian pop…

I like Andry Berman
Shawn: I don't want to waste my one piece of broccoli! What's the smallest takeout box you have?
They liked Sage Brocks so much in the one scene in the pilot that they brought him back for the show <3
Little Boy Cat is intersex. It has xxy chromosomes.
The Bloggers!
SF: We generally just don't care.
JRr made up the majority of Dazzle & Stretch & the music ones just... put music to it. That's amazing. I love that. (like how the disclaimer song was made by lixian)
HOLY CRAP I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE he stayed in the same key perfectly. I HATE it when people change keys in movies bc they don't hear what's going on. I mean, a semitone or less, fine that happens but I hate it, a third fourth or fifth because the harmony got you wrong, I get why it happens but I still hate it. I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN'T SING! I mean, I grew up in a very musical family, my parents were together because they did music ministry, my dad learned guitar to impress my mom, I grew up volunteering at seniors' centres singing, I tune my violin my ear, in my head everyone should be able to stay somewhat in the same key, even if your voice trails higher or lower while you sing. I can't even make myself sing wrong. (I do sometimes by accident tho, usually when the jumps are odd & i can't find the harmony, & occasionally I get off by less than a semitone bc the note is just not quite on a place I can easily sing, so my voice slips off that tone into a tone I can sing that is very very close so maybe I'm not as good as I think, but I actually consider myself only an OK singer & musician, so if I'm only ok then I expect everyone else around me to be about the same level. It blows my mind that people are not. I guess I'm just used to being the worst in the room, not to show my chip or anything.
AB: This is one of four apartment buildings in all of Canada that can look like it's in Santa Barbara
He's only the heir to Mushroom Barley XD XD XD
KK: Always some sort of homoeroticism
Copaganda go die. Neurodivergent private investigators (Castle, Shawn, Watts & Murdoch for a few episodes each, Holmes,) you're on thin ice. Shawn breaks the law all the time, wdym the network won't let him break the law? You can enter someone's home without permission & lie to the cops about being psychic (though that's hard to disprove bc being psychic is supernatural therefore you cannot disprove it using natural means; you can't judge paranormal by normal laws) but he can't open someone's mail? I mean I'm glad. Don't break the law, don't let cops break the law.
Initially they wrote it so some homeless guy would open the mail for Shawn or Shawn gave it to the cat & the cat opened it so it was not HIM mail tampering
JRr improv: All the way to the bone!?
Shawn multicultural moments: Mazel tov, dial a psychic!
The one time they didn't include a pinap they had to do a reshoot & added in a pineapple smoothie
AB: Next season we are moving on from pineapple, we're taking suggestions. Mango, maybe starfruit
matt shakman my man
XD he actually banged his knee
Carlos improvised the "Why would you put it on speakerphone" bit which like, yeah this is a stress line (not necesarily a crisis line or a suicide line, just a stress line)
JRr came up with the coconut
Oh this is where Gus gets into coin collecting!
There is a beauty salon down the hall from the stress line
No way Shawn is the only non work friend Gus has... He has hobbies, like at comiccon he was greeted by people...
Andy Berman: If I looked like Dulé, I would streak.
Poser.
When shawn first calls vick: First of all, how are you?
McNab plays guitar
It would be a lot easier if the network let us send in the show like "this week it's an hour & a half!"
DH when Shawn says "maybe you should shoot me" gets out from hiding behind him, subtle good acting
"That was adequate" hhh
Chris Henze: McNab in this day & age is wearing sock garters
KK: Someone tell my husband
I like how mcnab is not a big character but he is there. I read a fic once that included francine & little boy cat.
"If we ever see mcnab's apartment again we should see the cat"
KK: There should be like ten of them, he was pregnant, like "thanks Shawn"
KK: Once again, homoeroticism, by Andy Burman.
AB: I write that & don't expect for it to make it through, but it makes it through you & you're like "yeah set it up that sounds good" & then James'll say it & I'm wondering if there was any discussion at all... but it's great
KK: I hear from the network sometimes, they say "I'm kind of concerned about the overwhelming amount of male love on the show"
CH: These guys like each other. They're "good friends"
AB: Well Kelly has a rule, or three rules. They can hug, but they can't close their eyes.
KK: No that's Henze's rule
CH: Yeah you can hug another guy on camera, but once you close your eyes it becomes a little something special.
DH did that, put Gus' finger in Shawn's cereal.
& then JRr used the same spoon.

SAS: Red Notice now on the STARZ App known as SAS: Rise of the Black Swan is a 2021 British action thriller film directed by Magnus Martens and based on the novel SAS: Red Notice by former British soldier Andy McNab. SAS (Special Air Service, essentially the British Army's counterterrorism). SAS: Red Notice is a version of Die Hard in a train tunnel. It follows the basic premise of a man with certain skills being in the middle of a terrorist attack. Some critics in the UK 🇬🇧 were not delighted with the SAS: Red Notice film.
Tom Buckingham: The fictional character (SH), a high-functioning psychopath, making him a highly skilled soldier (in the book), but Sam's performance in the film as an ex-SAS officer is unlikely, He just isn't handled well enough and SH is quite dull in his performance at the film and doesn't do a good job of making you care about him. With inept action scenes, the film does Heughan no favours. He should continue with Outlander.
youtube
SAS: Red Notice was the kind of film that failed as an action experience, which was the least it could do. If you've already read the book, do yourself a favour and read it again. SAS: Red Notice is a very forgettable and pretty poor film.
#SASRedNotice #STARZ
@alpsandalpsandalps The film SAS: Red Notice, received some of the worst reviews in the UK 🇬🇧 that it’s important because the film is British and they agree he is not perfect for the role of Mr Bond.
@pinkblizzardgladiator SAS: Red Notice was intended to be Heughan's audition tape for James Bond. Buckingham is a well-spoken military man who is focused during a mission. Heughan considered the role because he felt handsome and fit, but his character was played as an emotionless robot. However, Bond has emotions and a sense of fun, but Buckingham lacks that. Heughan's supporting role in The Spy Who Dumped Me was a better potential Bond skills 😂
