if i had a dollar for every time an unusual online video game that had a special event in late summer that involved piloting ships and fighting the seemingly unstoppable and overwhelming and dying and coming back and seeking aid and not being alone and helping each other and massive community efforts online reflecting massive community efforts in-universe and not being alone and something that feels suspiciously like a metaphor for the current political climate and fighting even when everything's already been lost over and over and the end being inevitable but what you did still mattering. i would not be able to stop crying but i would have 2 dollars

HOMESTUCK FANTROLL SKETCHES!

The first one is Charri Folora (She/Her), an indigo blood troll who is VERY very autistic and lacking in social awareness. She likes socks. Like a lot. Yes she wears sunglasses indoors.

The second one is Diamus Villix (They/Them), a self-isolated violet blooded troll who lives off in the middle of nowhere on Alternia after banishing themselves from society. They lost a great battle in the past, and the shame from the outcome has forever haunted them since in the form of the scars on their body. Also Charri’s moirail.

The third one is Drtbyk Bandet, a gold blood fantroll created by the awesome @dresdeadandrottinginghell on Instagram! Go give him a follow! I’d rather not put words in his mouth for Drtbyk’s characterization, however he is very, VERY angry. And he has a dirt bike. It’s in the name, dumpass.

#I’ve just been reflecting on things (like I shouldn’t lmao has I over analyze everything) but…#I’m genuinely happy with the content I produce #the people I get to interact with daily #my beloved mutuals who care and understand me #etc #I feel like I can be me without any gear or judgment in a way #and I’m so used to putting up a mask irl expect to a select few #I wanted to create a safe place on my blog for myself and in turn I think I also made it a few others safe places #and that makes me really happy #my younger self I think would be proud of where I am too both in terms of my mental health (ehhh still but def progress over the years) etc #I mean I didn’t even think I’d live long enough to see this if I’m being totally honest #but even in some of the darkest moments of my life I come on here and write about Kaeya and some shit and life gets a little better #a little more bareable #and that’s enough for me to keep going and eventually shining #shievejrkorfj forgive my rambling #I saw a picture of myself in the height of my depression #and another picture of me when I well relapsed badly a couple years ago #even tho I went through a serious low in February I don’t think anyone knew about #I’m happy to say I’m 2 years clean it today #of*#tw sucidal ideation #tw self harm mention #onto hopefully better mental state chai
