WEIRD HOBBIES
-ËË| summary: you meet a guy in a bar and decide to go back to his place, as weird as he might seem.
⧠| Pairing: Martin (in the modern world) x reader
⧠| word count: 2.3k
⧠| Warnings: 18+ MINORS DNI, Oral (f/m receiving), 69 position, Martin is weird as hell but a pussy eating champ! Not beta proof<3
âSo⊠whatâs your name again?â You ask curiously, walking behind the man that holds your hand, guiding you through his home, and to his bedroom. You donât complain, though, since you were out just for that; to get home with a handsome man.Â
There was this band that you never heard of playing near your house, and it took little for your brain to convince you to go. If something good came from it, you would get fucked. If something bad came from it, well⊠you hoped for the first one.Â
Thatâs how you ended up here, following a dude, which looks from head to toe like a metal head. His hair goes to his shoulders, coal black, which you assume he dyed it, and some graphic shirt with the words âKnotfestâ and all, wearing some metal stuff that you didnât really know much about.
And you looked like a rock groupie, with a leather top that practically squeezed your tits and a dark jeans miniskirt with some boots. Yet, this mysterious man was still taller than you, and that was quite exciting, and a bit arousing.
âEh, Martinâ he says nonchalantly, as he grabs your hand, his bracelets really end up the detail of his fit, and you feel really horny now to lay with this dude. âYours?â
You tell Martin your name, following him as he opens his bedroom door. To be fair, it is tidier than you imagined.
âSorry the messâ he murmurs, moving the drone and an electric guitar out of his bed. You hum, looking around curiously, to the badly positioned posters, some rock-metal bands that you didnât know about.
âIs that a snake?â You ask, watching the little head of the reptile in the middle of the dim light coming from outside.
âUh- no, itâs a lizardâÂ
A guy with a lizard as a pet. Okay.
âWhat is its name?âÂ
âLizard. I donât like naming them-âÂ
Great.Â
You look at him with a fake smile. The dick better be good you think, taking out your jacket and leaving it on a chair next to the desk.
âBe careful, spider likes to crawl near thereâ
You took your jacket off there, and you really hoped that he had a dog called spider because otherwise it would be strange as hell.
âRiiiiightâ you say, leaving your jacket in a hanger of his opened closet. Whatever. âSo⊠Apart from having a lizard and a spider⊠do you maybe also have⊠a cockroach?â
He lets out a huff, his lips turning upwards as he takes his shirt off. âNoâ Martin says. âI do have another thing, though, itâs very bigâ
You try to smile at his corny, cringy words. Itâs for the dick. You repeat to yourself: The dick better be good. He better not finish in two minutes. He better knows how to eat pussy.
âHa. Funnyâ you say as you start to take off those boots.
âHow did ya meet the band?â
âEhmm⊠A friend dated the brother of an ex of the bassist. I thinkâ you say watching as he frowns his eyebrows slightly trying to make any sense as he lights up a cigarette.Â
âah, niceâ he says as he lays on bed as he smokes the cigarette, taking off his shirt as he remains only in those Adidas jeans of his. âHeard the songs before?â
âOnce or twiceâ you say looking at the CD albums stacked on top of each other messily, and you move to grab a solitude piece of paper, as you can practically feel Martinâs eyes on your ass. âI liked the vocalist, quite handsome, donât you think?â you unwrap softly the paper, away from Martinâs eyes.
It was an address. It piqued your curiosity.
âAye, come hereâ his voice is soft as he extends his hand to turn off the cigarette on the glass ashtray, which has the shape of a dragon.
You turn around and walk toward his bed, and watch how he seems eager to have you. Itâs hot to have a man drooling for you like Martin is now. And his erection is the living proof of it; it was obvious against his trousers that he was rock hard. You wondered if he was leaking as well.Â
You straddle his lap, a smirk forming on your lips as his hands move immediately to your thighs, cold hands moving slowly up to find their way to your ass.Â
âSit on my faceâ Martin murmurs, words slightly stuck between his pants
âHm? What was that?â You ask petulantly, pretending not to have heard.Â
âCome on, beautiful, sit on my faceâ he says, pushing your hips closer to his chest, trying to push your miniskirt up.
âGotta take my panties offâ you say softly to him, watching his lips as he licks them, savouring the ghosting taste of you.
âNo, like thisâ he murmurs, eager to taste you. âIâll eat you from behind even.â Martin proposes, more desperate than the last time âPleaseâ
You might forgive cheesy comments for his eagerness. You sigh with a wide smirk, turning around as Martin places his big hands around your thighs, dragging your centre closer to his face.Â
Eager was the wrong word for it; he was desperate.
His hand moved your panties to the side, and his face almost nuzzled your cunt, before starting to press his tongue on your centre. You could hear his groan of pure delight, his hands caressing the skin of your thighs and ass as he delighted himself.Â
âFuckâ you said, but it was as if all the air from your lungs when out in that moan.Â
Martinâs hands were keeping you still, not allowing you to move your hips to grind his face as you wanted. You could hear his moans, the way he slurped and nuzzled his face on your cunt.Â
He was a pro, eating pussy as if he did it every day (maybe he did, god knows), and he didnât seem to care for his lack of air in the matter. He was on it, devoted to eating your dripping cunt as if it was his last meal on earth.
Your hands are pressed on his stomach, and he has to forcefully let you go to breathe, and you sigh as you feel his breaths.Â
âWhere did you learn to do that?â You breathe softly, as you can hear how he pants, catching his breath.Â
âA good pussy can make a man go feral, loveâ he says, moving your panties out of the way as his index and middle finger move to rub against your slit.Â
He was cheesy, and it was a bit weird. Yet it couldnât bother you less, you had been with worse men, and Martin was good in other areasâŠ, well, at least in sex and eating out a pussy. And it was more than average, so you were up to it.
Before he decides to keep on eating you, still caressing your clit as he catches his breath, you lean a bit on his torso, to try to pull down the leather pants, opening the zipper.Â
It takes you a bit, yet after accomplishing your mission, your hand grabs his dick to guide it into your warm, eager mouth.Â
He was well doted, and hard as a rock. He was leaking, and his tip was a bit pink compared with the rest of his cock.Â
God damn you if it didnât make your mouth drool. Between him eating you out, and his leaking cock, you think you will go insane. He could have cheeky, cringe comments but you could live with it. You couldnât live without him eating you out or his cock.Â
You are as enthusiastic with his cock as he is. Though, you start slower. You take the head on your mouth, sucking on it as you feel him groan against your pussy. It was fucking hot, and it had you moaning on his cock. You didnât remember the last time your legs were trembling like this, and how much you wanted to feel a dick in your throat. It was a need, a primal need.
Martin was kind and nice, had his things, but god, you need to fuck him. You might even need to have his babies by now. You wouldnât complain if he came all inside you, filling you with his cum, and making you pregnant. Fuck, it even turned you more on. What was this man doing to you?
You took more of his dick in your mouth, trying to take all of it, not minding if you choke on it. He was hot. More than hot, in truth.
Martin was relentless with his tongue, lapping at your cunt again and again, moaning loudly against it as he could feel how deep you were taking his cock in your mouth. Your hand moved to cup his balls, as your tongue tried to swirl around his tip. It drove him insane.Â
It was not long before you started to cum, moaning loudly, his dick slipping from your mouth as your thighs pressed against his face, riding his face and nose as he was making you cum. His tongue was as greedy as him, and he worked with his nose along your slit. And it made you cum hard, rolling your eyes back. âFuck, Martin, just like thatâŠâ You say, hips grinding against his mouth in a desperate need to stretch the feeling a bit more.Â
And once you finish, your mouth goes back to his cock, to keep on sucking him off. âFuck, you feel incredibleâ he rasped, as you moved forward, closer to his cock and have full access, as Martinâs hips pumped upwards to fuck your mouth.Â
You lay on his chest, his face back on the pillow, moaning loudly as you seem to try to drain him completely, deepthroating him as if it was nothing at all.
âFuck, you are going to make me cumâ He says, teeth gripped as his hand moves to grab a fist of your hair, to move your head down to allow him fuck your mouth deep as he wanted. His own head titles back in pure bliss and pleasure, moaning loudly as he uses your mouth as a desperate animal in need to cum. Not that you complain, it costs a bit more to breathe, and you were almost choking, but hearing Martin be so local, groaning, moaning and grunting was worth it.Â
His cum soon fills your mouth, and he keeps you still, the signal clear for you to swallow all of it, as his throbbing cock unleashed his hot cum.Â
âSwallow it⊠fuck, swallow it all, take what I give youâŠâ he mutters in pure bliss.
As the last drops of cum are licked off his cock, he leans back and you move to his side.Â
âThat was greatâ You mutter, looking at the ceiling. How could he be so great at it?
âYeah. Cig break and round two?â
âHell yeahâ
You are with your friend when you search the location in the paper that you found in Martinâs room. You were supposed to go to the club, you were wearing your miniskirt and a top, really to party, but that man had eaten your pussy and fucked you like no one before, so you felt entitled to find what that was for.
âItâs coldâ Your friend, Tamara, says. She was chewing gum as she followed you begrudgingly.Â
âItâs a fucking parking lot?â You ask looking around the empty street, the night made it lonely yet not totally isolated.Â
âYour darling buries the bodies hereâ Your friend says, obviously judging it all. âCan we go?â
âLook, there is a carâ you point out, as the car seems to be jumping around due to the movements inside. âGods, you think they are having sex?â
âEw, you think he has a brothel in his car?â Tamara asks you, looking at the car as you both get closer. âEww and you fucked without a condom⊠You could get an IST, and dieâ
âIt is called an STD, and⊠I think he is not fucking anyoneâ you frown slightly, getting closer.
âCareful! What if his pimp is hereâŠ?â
âHe is fighting someone!â You say looking inside the car, as you find Martin pressing the head of the other guy against the window.Â
Surely, Martin was a weird dude. He was corny as hell, and he had pets called like the species they were. Sure. He almost burned his hair as he smoked after sex, yes; and he also ate pussy like a champ and was hung as a horse.Â
âI am going thereâ You tell your friends. âThe dick is worth itâ
âYikesâÂ
As you walk closer, you feel your friend either staying behind or walking away, not that you care.Â
Martin had blood trailing down his forehead, and was lying in the passengerâs seat as his thighs choked the other guy he was with, holding his head still with his hands. Okay, whatever, a guy can have hobbies.
When he sees you, he starts rolling down the window of the car, as you lean closer to his height.
âHey, darling- how did yaââ
âA girl has her secretsâ you say, smiling as you see him. God, he was sexy as hell. âI want my pussy eatenâÂ
Martin smirks, and he leans back to sigh at your request, as if the idea delights him. He still applies pressure to the other dude, who seems to pass out. Martin leans forward closer to your lips and whispers âWill yaâ wait ten minutes as I finish with this round?â
âThreeâ You bargain.
âSeven.â
âThreeâ
âFive and Iâll make you cum twice.â His final offer, and the time you had in mind. Offering lower than one wants always seems work to get your official deal, even with an extra.
âDealâ you accept with a smirk.Â
And what if he was fighting inside a car? You fancied Martin, and sure as hell he fancied you. Even if he has weird hobbies.Â

Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8 | Part 9
You and Sam walked back to Blackmore in a comfortable silence. You preferred the quiet and appreciated that she didnât ask you questions or push you on anything. Sam had no reason to trust you, but she was taking a chance, and you were going to make sure to prove you were worthy of her trust. When you got to Blackmore you and Sam sat on one of the benches outside the building that held Taraâs class until she came out half an hour later. As soon as you had her, the three of you went back to the apartment.
When you got back to the apartment Tara flung her backpack into the corner and plopped herself down on the couch, kicking her feet up as she reached for the remote on the coffee table. She flicked on the TV and instantly began scrolling through one of the streaming apps.
You mindlessly watched at Tara continued to scroll until you felt her eyes on you. You glanced at her and waited to see what she would say. Mindy was the most suspicious of you, which was fair, though she seemed to be more of a conspiracy theorist than anything, Chad seemed almost too trusting of you, it was slightly concerning, and Tara seemed to be hesitant of you, like Sam was with everyone, though she wasnât as paranoid Sam. The one thing different about Tara though was half her suspicion seemed to come from just being protective of her sister.
âDo you like movies?â Tara asked, squinting her eyes as she waited for your response.
You shrugged. âIâve seen a few,â you said.
That seemed to make Tara only narrow her eyes even more. âWhatâs your favorite movie?â You opened your mouth to give her what would probably be an unsatisfactory answer once again. âWait! Let me guess,â she turned so half her body was facing you. âSaving Private Ryan!â You opened your mouth, but she didnât stop there. âNo! Hacksaw Ridge!â You closed your mouth and waited; you knew she wasnât done yet. âYou have a dog you love,â she mumbled more to herself than you. âWar Horse!â She clapped her hands, quite proud of herself for that one. âWait!â She shot her hand out, grabbing you on your arm as if you were about to get up and leave. âThe Patriot.â
You waited a second to see if she had any more, but she just looked at you with a raised eyebrow. You chuckled to yourself with a shake of your head. âAll military related because Iâm in the military?â You asked.
She shrugged. You playfully rolled your eyes. âThose are all great movies,â you started. You caught Sam out of the side of your eye, she was in the kitchen making a sandwich, but she tilted her head just slightly, indicating she was listening. âThe superhero stuff is also good. I-â
âI bet youâre a Captain America person,â Tara cut you off. You rolled your eyes. âYou give off the same vibes.â
You gave her a thankful nod. You had never been compared to Captain America before and you were truly honored, though you were inclined to disagree with her. âCap is great,â you said. âAnd Steve Rogers is definitely much cooler than me.â Tara shrugged, seeming to agree with you on that. âBut Iâve always been more of a Batman person.â
Tara looked at you and nodded her head. âThat tracks.â You tilted your head in question, but she didnât elaborate any further.
âBut my default movie, the one Iâm always cool to watch, The Mummy.â
âWhere Brendan Frazier plays a soldier,â Tara nodded, clearly not surprised by the answer.
âOnly in the beginning do the movie,â you defended. Seriously the movie started with him figuring in the desert but that was it when it came to military related things. Unless Tara was also counting the pilot they found to fly them back out there.
âSo, you just really love mummies?â Tara raised an eyebrow.
âThe Mummy is fantastic, itâs got everything, action, comedy, a supernatural element, and romance. There should be no explanation required.â You had never had to defend liking The Mummy before, you thought Samâs sister was going to school for film, you figured sheâd know this better than anyone. âOh, and Rachel Weisz,â you added.
âAll good points,â Sam said, coming back into the room. She handed you a bottle of water before taking her seat in the chair next to the couch. You gave her a thankful smile; you hadnât even asked for a drink for her to just bring one to you.
âYou too?â Tara shouted, whipping her head around so fast you were surprised she didnât get whiplash.
Sam shrugged as she curled her feet up on the chair, tucking them under her before reaching for her sandwich on the coffee table. âWho doesnât love Brendan Frazier and Rachel Weisz,â she said as if they explained everything.
Sam went on to eat her sandwich while Tara was looking at her sister in a whole new light, as if she was seeing her sister for the first time. You were still new and getting to know the sisters, but you were curious why Sam liking The Mummy would be so surprising. Tara just stared at her sister for several minutes before finally going back to scrolling for a movie, finally deciding to settle on The Mummy.
Not long after the movie ended did Chad walk in with a stack of three pizzaâs, quickly followed by the others. âDinner is served!â Chad said, holding up the pizzaâs as he took them to the dining table.
âThanks for picking them up,â Sam said as she got up to grab some paper plates.
Chad waved her off and flipped open all three boxes. Each pizza was different, there was a plain cheese, a pepperoni, and then a meat lovers. You and Tara got up to join the others around the table, everyone grabbed their slices and then went off to separate corners of the room. Quinn took the seat across the room, closest to the door, Mindy and Anika cuddled up next to each other on the floor, Ethan plopped himself down in the seat furthest from the door, and Tara dropped herself down in what was Samâs seat because Chad stole her spot on the couch next to you.
Once Chad finished up his pizza, he wiped his hands off on a napkin and tossed it onto his dirty plate. He was still chewing the last bit of his food as he switched the channel on the TV and grabbed a PS4 controller. You wiped your own hands and put your trash on top of his, creating an organized little pile. You leaned back and watched the screen as Chad flipped through games.
âWhat are you playing?â you asked.
âCrash,â he said mindlessly.
âRacing or the original?â
Chadâs mouth opened and closed, gaping like a fish. He looked at you then back at the TV, only to do a double take and look back at you. It was like he couldnât believe you were asking him about video games.
âR-Racing,â he said. âWant to join?â he reached over and grabbed the other controller and held it out to you.
You shrugged and took the controller from him. âSure,â you said.
The two of you selected our characters and started the first race. You let Chad pick the track, you knew heâd need the edge anyway. The two of you raced around, doing your laps, you felt everyoneâs eyes on you and the TV but you paid them no mind as you drove your way into first place. You were on the last lap when you dropped a TNT crate, only to hear Chad hit it a few seconds later. You quickly crossed the finish line, coming in first, then you leaned back and watched as Chad tried to fight his way back up the line, striving to just not come in last.
You repeated that with the same outcome another three races. Chad was hunched over, pressing the buttons hard as if that would make the cart go faster. You kept your eyes on the screen, never wavering as you completed lap after lap, coming in first every single time.
âYouâre good at this,â Chad said. âHow are you so good?â
âI play all the time when Iâm home,â you said with a shrug.
âThatâs why the only thing in your house is a game system,â Sam said.
You looked over at her and smiled. âGot my PS5 and my dog, what more could one possibly want?â Sam tilted her head, seeming to actually think about the question then nodded with a small shrug.
âOne more,â Chad said, already flipping through the tracks again.
You rolled your eyes and got ready again as Chad finally selected the track. You were fully prepared to beat Chad on every track, using any character.
You got distracted when you noticed Sam staring down at her phone. You paused the game, ignoring Chadâs protests as you waited to see what was going on with Sam. âEverything okay?â you asked.
Sam looked up, meeting your eyes. âI donât know,â she said. âYour dad is calling me,â she looked at Quinn.
Quinn furrowed her brow and leaned forward in the chair. âHeâs probably just following up,â Quinn said with a shrug. âOr wanting to update you.â
Sam nodded but she didnât seem too certain in Quinnâs guess. Whatever doubt she was having didnât stop her from raising the phone to her ear. âDetective Bailey?â Sam spoke into the phone.
You couldnât hear the other end of the line, but Samâs furrowed brow deepened. âYes, I know him,â she said. You look around the room, seeing Chad, Mindy, and Tara all looked just as confused. âOf course, Iâm on my way.â
As soon as Sam hung up the phone she was moving and so were you and Tara. Sam didnât even so much as look at any of you as she grabbed her keys. âSam,â Tara said. âSam, whatâs going on?â
âStay here,â is all Sam said.
âWhat happened?â you asked as you made your way over to the sisters.
Sam finally paused her movements and looked up at you, then at her sister. âThat was detective Bailey.â You and Tara both nodded. âHe said Doctor Stone is dead.â
âWho?â you asked. You glanced at Tara to see her furrow, her brow before her eyes widened.
âHeâs my old therapist,â Sam dropped her eyes to the floor.
You furrowed her brow; you werenât sure why Sam seemed ashamed of that. You went to a therapist; she didnât know it was because you were ordered to, but she knew you saw one. She went with you to your appointment earlier, you couldnât see why she would think you would judge her for seeing a therapist herself. You didnât want to pressure her though; she didnât owe you any answers.
âI need to go down to the station,â Sam said.
âGreat, letâs go,â Tara said, gesturing for Sam to walk towards the door.
âNo, no,â Sam spun around, holding her hand up to Tara. âYouâre staying here.â
âNo, weâre not splitting up,â Tara shook her head. âSchool was one thing, but this?â she pointed around her. âNo. Iâm going with you.â
Sam let out a tired sigh and ran a hand through her hair. âFine.â
âObviously Iâm coming as well,â you said. Sam opened her mouth, probably to argue with you as well. âThis is why you asked me here,â you whispered, looking her in the eye. You werenât sure what it was but the idea of Sam and her sister going out there alone, at night, after Ghostface killed someone connected to Sam, it didnât sit right with you.
âOkay,â Sam conceded, nodding. âThe rest of you stay here,â she said loudly, looking at each and every one of them. Once they all nodded in agreement Sam finally made her way to the door.
You followed behind Sam and Tara, keeping close as they quickly ran down the steps and out the door without a second thought. You checked your surroundings as soon as you got outside, making sure to keep your head on the swivel.
âWhy would Ghostface go after your old therapist?â Tara questioned. âI though you hadnât seen that dude in months.â
âI havenât,â Sam said. âIt was only a couple sessions before I left him.â
âSo, is he important?â you asked, inserting yourself into the conversation.
âNo,â Sam shook her head. âAs soon as he learned who I wasâŠâ she crossed her arms over her chest. âHe wasnât the right fit, we never even got into the details.â
You nodded, you could understand why she might not want to share that information. You didnât care about why she was seeing a therapist or why she left this Doctor Stone, it was none of your business. Â âThen whoever this is might not know you switched therapists.â You looked around, carefully watching the other people on the street as you passed them. âThey might have gone after him, thinking he was your current one still.â
Sam furrowed her brow and then nodded. âThe only one I mentioned my new therapist to was Tara,â she looked at her sister.
âAnd I havenât told anyone,â Tara said.
You nodded. âGood, donât tell anyone. Your therapist is safer if no one knows who they are.â
Sam and Tara both agreed and continued their walk down the street. It was only a few minutes later when Sam pulled out her phone, you saw over her shoulder that she was getting a call from some guy named Richie Kirsch.
âWhy do you still have his number?â Tara asked, clearly recognizing whoever this was.
Sam looked at her sister guiltily. âI couldnât bring myself to delete his number,â she admitted quietly. You furrowed your brow; you could only begin to guess who this guy was.
âWhat do you want asshole?â Sam asked as she answered the phone, her attitude quickly becoming aggressive.
You couldnât hear the other side of the conversation, and you were just watching Samâs reaction until you caught a shadow moving out of the corner of your eye. You just reacted, your arm shooting out to catch the arm of Ghostface as he tried to bring a knife down on Tara. You knocked Tara back toward Sam with our free arm, and twisted Ghostfaceâs hand, then punched him in the face.
âRun!â you called out to the girls, hoping they listened to you. As Ghostface stumbled back, trying to shake off the hit you brought your knee up, nailing him in the gut, and sending him falling back into the bushes.
You didnât hesitate to turn around and take off after the girls, quickly catching up to them. You felt something when you kneed Ghostface, but you didnât have time to dwell on it as Sam flung open the door to a bodega. You were only a couple steps behind them, swinging the door open to see them begging the cashier to help them.
You looked back and caught a flash of a cloak through the window. You pushed Sam and Tara back, spreading out your arms so that they wouldnât be easy to hit as Ghostface charged into the bodega. One of the customers stepped forward and was yelling at Ghostface when Ghostface just started stabbing him in the chest and then a few of the other customers.
âThe backdoor!â the cashier called out, nodding his head to the side as he reached under the counter and pulled out a shotgun. You glanced back to see a door on the other side of the room. You pushed Tara and Sam towards it so they could get out first as you kept your eyes on Ghostface.
The cashier tried to shoot Ghostface but couldnât raise the gun before Ghostface reached out and ripped it out of his hands. Ghostface flipped the gun around and blasted the cashier in the chest. Your eyes widened and you turned and grabbed Sam and Tara. Ghostface had just raised the gun and fired at the back door when you pushed Sam and Tara down to the ground behind some of the shelves.
You raised a finger to your lips and then gestured forward, indicating for them the to slowly move. You kept your back pressed against the shelf as Tara and Sam slowly crawled around to the next aisle. When they got over there Sam looked back at you and you gestured for her to continue forward. If they kept going and kept quiet, then they could make it back to the front door and while you distracted Ghostface they could slip right out. Sam seemed hesitant to continue on, but she did anyway.
You stayed low and kept your eyes looking up, waiting for the perfect opportunity. You listened as Ghostfaceâs boots slowly crunched across the broken glass and bags of chips that were now scattered across the ground. You caught a glimpse of the barrel of the gun when the sound of someone hitting a bottle echoed throughout the room.
You held your breath and froze in place. The barrel of the gun disappeared and then a shot echoed through, hitting the shelf across the room and sending snacks flying. You only had to hear the crunch of Ghostfaceâs boot to make your move, shooting up from your spot and launching yourself at Ghostface.
You grabbed onto the gun and kept it pointed up as Ghostface tried to turn it on you. The two of you went back and forth, each of you fighting for control of the gun. In your struggle the gun got pointed up and went off, blowing a hole through the ceiling and sending chunks raining down on you.
âGo!â you called over your shoulder. If the sisters didnât move now, you werenât sure you could get them another chance.
You heard the sound of footsteps running across the floor and caught a flash of Samâs jacket out of the corner of your eye. You jerked the gun up, finally ripping it out of Ghostfaceâs hands. You flipped the gun around and fired, only for nothing to happen, it was out of ammo. You flipped it back around and used the butt of the gun to smack the Ghostfaceâs chest with all your strength.
Ghostface went stumbling back until he hit the back door. As soon as Ghostface pushed off the door you thew the shot gun at him, making him react and catch it, the impact making him hit the door again. You reached behind you and pulled out your gun, not hesitating to raise it and fired three bullets into Ghostfaceâs chest.
Ghostface slid to the ground, his back against the wall and his body slumped over as the shotgun rested at his side. You stepped forward, raising the gun to Ghostfaceâs head when you finally heard the sirens. You dropped the gun back to your side and quickly tucked it back in its holster at your back before making your way out of the bodega.
Almost as soon as you stepped foot outside you were hit with a small impact. You let out a groan and looked down to see Tara with her arms wrapped around her waist. âThank you,â she mumbled into your shirt. Police officers rushed past the two of you, none of them paying you any attention as they made their way into the bodega, their guns drawn.
âAre you okay?â you asked, looking down at Tara. You werenât big on hugs but if it made Tara feel better then you were willing to accept it.
âWhat happened?â Sam asked, rushing up beside you. âDid you get him? Are you hurt?â she looked you up and down, searching for new injuries.
âIâm fine,â you assured her. âI shot him, but I didnât get him,â you looked back at the front door, just waiting for him to come out.
âWhat do you mean?â Sam furrowed her brow. Tara finally released you and looked up as she waited to hear your answer as well.
âHe was wearing bullet proof vest.â
âAre you sure?â
You nodded. âFlet it as soon as I kneed him on the street.â It took a while with all the adrenaline for you to finally connect the dots as to what you felt. You had more to say btu you didnât think this was the time or place with all the prying eyes. You knew it was a good idea to keep the information to yourself when the cops came back out and said Ghostface was gone.
You, Tara, and Sam rushed back into the bodega to see the back door open, the lock that was on the door now lay scattered on the ground. Ghostface recovered fast, he could certainly take a hit, but you werenât surprised he escaped. Just one fight with this Ghostface and you had enough information to narrow down your suspects. You werenât sure when youâd have the time or privacy to go over everything with Sam though.

Pippin the Fluffy, Guardian of Pants
for @steddiemicrofic "guard" | T | 532 | no cw | one night stand, strangers to lovers, musician Eddie, evil little dog
The guy's name is Steve and he made Eddie ache in the best way.Â
But now it was time to go.Â
He isn't proud of it, but it's what he does. All his partners so far hated the long distance of touring, which isn't something he's ready to leave behind. His band is gaining momentum right now and they all agreed sacrifices need to be made if they want to make it big. Dating is one of them.
So Eddie leaves every hook-up, no matter how hot they are, how sweet they talk to him, how good they smell.Â
How evil their Pomeranian is.Â
"Dude," Eddie hisses in exasperation the second time the little dog bares his teeth at him. He's usually great with dogs and loves most of the little creatures but this guy seems to have a vendetta against him. He's sitting on top of Eddie's pants like he's Smaug guarding his pile of gold and treasures. The most Eddie's managed to put on is his boxers but the rest of his clothes are under the dog's little body. And it's adamant about staying there.
"Fine. Be like that," he huffs. Maybe if he goes to use the bathroom, the dog will move, join his owner on the bed, or something.Â
When he returns, the dog watches him smugly, still leaving its light hair on his black clothes. Eddie sighs, now resigned to a scavenger hunt for dog treats. He's starting to consider getting back in bed because going through a stranger's cupboards feels like a new low.
Thankfully he finds a packet of treats in plain sight. He picks it up happily, but his smile falls instantly when the dog spots the bag.
The little fluffy ball stands up, the hair across its spine raising while it bares its fangs, and Eddie is losing his confidence at an alarming rate. It's like the dog is offended that he's trying to bribe him.Â
"What the fuck do you want from me?" he whispers heatedly, looking into its beady eyes. "I just want my pants!"
"Pippin!"
His heart almost falls out of his chest. The dog meanwhile, apparently named Pippin, jumps onto the bed happily, all signs of malice gone.
Eddie laughs awkwardly now that his hook-up is awake and puts the treats away before bending down to retrieve his stuff.Â
"Your dog is insane, man. He wouldn't get off my clothes."
Steve hums.
"I trained him to do that."
"What?" Eddie looks at him in confusion. Now that he's awake, he feels weird about just leaving.
"Got tired of everyone leaving without a word. So I taught him to guard their clothes on the floor," he admits while scratching at Pippin's fur.
Eddie gapes at him.
"But by all means," Steve motions at the door. "I had fun, hope you did too."
"You're insane," Eddie says instead of something more appropriate. "I'm... I move a lot so I'm not looking for anything serious right now."
Steve rolls his eyes.
"I was hoping for a second round, not a marriage proposal."
Eddie considers him for a second before placing his clothes on a nearby chair.
"Well, in that case..."

Hi,
There's a stray cat (very friendly, no collar or anything) wandering our street and he's very skinny so we were thinking of trying to put out food for him and hopefully in a couple months take him in (or at least bring him to a vet to be neutered and released if not).
I was wondering if you had any advice / stuff to watch out for from your experience taking care of Diesel?
Not really. Cats that are socialised young enough are generally pretty easy to bribe with food over time, in my experience; if he's friendly, he should fall in love with you pretty quickly. (Cats that are unsocialised young will very occasionally socialise themselves but are almost always a waste of time, but it sounds like he's been socialised so you shouldn't have problems).
Don't touch him before he wants you to unless there's some kind of emergency (in which case, use a cat trap, but if there's no emergency don't bother); that's a great way to make him wary of you and also get bitten by his horrible plague mouth (cat bites are very prone to infection). Cats are generally easy beasts to deal with if you respect their autonomy and their personal space.
If he's outside and starving, he might have various fleas, internal parasites, and other minor but treatable health problems. Cats are particularly prone to a variety of worms, as well as eye infections. Your vet will tell you how to deal with these, and explain to you how to give him a dewormer and bathe him if he needs bathing (most cats don't ever need bathing, but if he's young and filthy he might need one when you take him in.)
Most socialised cats like to sleep inside where it is safe and warm, so if you feed him for a bit then there's a really good chance that you can just open the door one day and let him into your house. This is especially likely if he's lived in a house before. Some socialised cats who have secure lodgings already in some drainpipe or basement or something will avoid this, but in the vast majority of cases a friendly cat will happily just come inside. So you shouldn't have any trouble "catching" him, unless you have other cats or dogs in there that he might want to avoid.
The one thing that I would warn of is that most outdoor cats I've dealt with have had some level of PTSD. When Diesel started hanging out with me I had to watch him carefully to learn what sorts of things would make him panic (sudden movements or approaching him from specific angles, touching him when he is asleep), and what sorts of things triggered his hypervigilance and put him on high alert. The triggers are different for different cats; some hate enclosed spaces or heights (things that most cats love), or won't eat without somebody standing guard, or need to be able to see the door to the room at all times. These quirks are generally not hard to deal with; just don't do stuff to your cat that upsets them (unless you have to, like for medical reasons) and you'll be fine.
If you want information on anything complicated that shows up with him (unlikely; cats are generally very easy beasts to deal with), there's a wealth of great information from cat fosterers and rescuers on youtube.

SOOBIN: âI thought I should just try to shine as I am.â
TOMORROW X TOGETHER The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY comeback interview
2024.11.11
He once strived to become a lush, towering forest. But he realized that people will love him for exactly what he isâa deep, rolling ocean. And so, he decided to remain as whom he always has been: an ocean named SOOBIN.
You took a trip to Vietnam earlier this year with BEOMGYU. I heard you planned the whole thing. SOOBIN: Iâm usually the kind of person who just goes around without a real plan, but since we donât get much vacation time, I figured weâd better go all out and do everything we could in one go, so I tried planning it all out. (laughs) BEOMGYU just wanted to go with the flow, but there was a ton of stuff I wanted to do.
Iâm sure itâs not easy taking a trip or spending your off time with the same people you spend all your time with. SOOBIN: I hang out a lot with the rest of the group on my own time too, though. Three of us were all hanging out together just yesterday. To be perfectly honest, it doesnât feel like anything special since weâre always together 365 days a year, but Iâm also most comfortable around them for the same reason.
Sometimes people start bickering with each other when they get too comfortable with one another, but youâre always so kindâlike how you gifted BEOMGYU with a nap in that âThe Perfect Way to Restâ video when you remembered he was feeling tired. SOOBIN: I think Iâm good at picking up on things. I donât know if I can do it with everyone, but at least with the other members of the group, Iâm pretty good at telling how theyâre feeling or if theyâre not feeling well. As soon as I see one of them, I can tell, Oh, he looks a little rough today, or, Heâs sure in a good mood today. (laughs) If they seem down, I go over to them to find out whatâs wrong and talk it over.
Your kindness also comes across when youâre with animals, like in the âOUR TOMORROWâ video, where you took care of one dog who was so nervous that it didnât get a chance to eat any treats. Have you always been drawn to people and creatures that are small and left out? SOOBIN: So, so much. In fact, I was really shy and struggled to fit in when I was a trainee. I was really lonely at first. So when time passed and I finally got accustomed to things, if I saw another trainee who was shy and couldnât adjust, I felt like looking out for them. Kai was among them. (laughs) Thatâs how I ended up becoming really close with him.
You talked about the cat your sister adopted recently, explaining how it used to be shy because it had a hard life in the past but that it finally opened up this year. SOOBIN: I went to see the cat when my sister first got it, but I couldnât even see it that first timeâit just hid under the couch. It was so shy that I thought Iâd never get to pet it, but the last time I saw it, it came right up to me and started purring, wanting to be petted. It was able to overcome its painful past and open up to my family thanks to all the love they show looking after it. Love really does have the power to change anything. (laughs)
You also said on weverse LIVE recently that you made a new friend who you can talk about dramas, movies, and books with. SOOBIN: For me, dramas and movies donât end with watching themâafter youâre done watching, thatâs when things are just getting started. I always look up reviews and analyses online. People can watch the same thing and theyâll all have their own thoughts on it, so Iâm curious about all those different views, and now I have someone to talk about that with. They know a lot more about books and movies than I do, so I end up learning a lot when weâre sharing our thoughts together. Just having a friend to share my interests with is really fun.
You mentioned talking about Inside Out 2, and you looked at how it features a place to store things youâve heard that you want to keep for a long time, which got you thinking about what sort of things you would want to hold onto. SOOBIN: I kept recalling things my friends say after we hang outâthings like, âSOOBIN, Iâm so happy weâre friends,â and, âI feel great whenever Iâm with you.â Hearing things like that really touches my heart. Seriously, how often do you get to hear things like that in life? I used to find expressing things like that awkward and weird, but thanks to my friends, Iâm getting used to saying I love and appreciate people. You empathized with how Anxiety works harder and feels more anxious than others because they want to be good at things. Are there things you feel you should work harder at than other people? SOOBIN: Iâm actually slower at learning choreography compared to the other members. I assumed Iâd get a lot better after debuting and regularly performing onstage, but progress was slower than I expected. I didnât say anything about this before, and I even kept it a secret from the other members, but I actually got separate choreo lessons on the side when we were doing âChasing That Feelingâ and âDeja Vu.â Weâd take lessons as a group, and then once I was alone Iâd always spend about an hour dancing and working on the little details. I tried so hard with those two most recent songs that I even practiced on my own like that. Seeing as Iâm slow, I have to work harder to keep up with the other members. If I have more time, I want to practice more for this comeback, too.
With all the touring youâve done and the encore performances you have coming up, it mustâve been really hectic getting ready for your Star Chapter: SANCTUARY comeback. SOOBIN: The schedule was really tight this time aroundâwe even had to record vocals in Japan in the middle of the tour since we were in and out of the countryâbut now that weâre in our sixth year, the five of us were all really fast about things. I could sense that we had grown compared to before since we were faster at recording than we couldâve expected to be in the past and it took us less time to work out the details of the choreography.
The albumâs subtitle, SANCTUARY, is a word thatâs appeared in TOMORROW X TOGETHER albums before. Whatâs been your sanctuary these days? SOOBIN: I never used to have a sanctuary, which made getting through tough times hard, but I do now: simple things like working out or reading. It feels like the things that break me away from overthinking and let me immerse myself in something else are my sanctuary.
You were complimented on your previous promotions for your improved vocals and high notes. What about on this album? SOOBIN: Actually, every other album weâve done had a song in a genre I wasnât confident in, but not this time. The single âOver The Moonâ is really laid-back, and I felt like it was perfect timing for us to try out a song like that. Whatâs unfortunate is that I caught this horrendous cold during recording. We started practicing for live performances recently, and the director said, âSOOBINâs singing better than he did when recording. He makes it sound effortless.â So I couldnât help but think about how much better I couldâve done if only my throat had been in better shape.
You always focus a lot on lyrics. Were there any on this album that have stuck with you in particular? SOOBIN: This album isnât so much about telling some big, sweeping story as it is about everything weâve been through together. Now that weâve been through all that chaos, itâs about the universal emotion of love, which everyone can relate to, and I liked that about it. Thereâs a line in âHigher Than Heavenâ that sticks with me that goes, âI think I kinda get what forever means now.â I even once said, âI never used to believe in the word âforever,â but I think I can now, thanks to our fans.â I didnât write that part, but itâs like it was written to perfectly capture my feelings.
The other members have probably had an impact on your belief in the word âforever,â too. SOOBIN: Iâm pretty sure weâre going to grow old together and that weâll be together till the day I die. We do the same thing and basically live the same life day in and day out, so we know what makes each other cry the most during concerts, too. Whether itâs my tears of happiness or BEOMGYUâs tears of disappointment from a leg injury, having friends to understand and share those feelings with is nice. Theyâre all just really kind peopleâcalm and clear, like a stream. None of us is domineering or splashing around, disturbing the peace, and nobodyâs dirtying the water, so I think weâll be able to stick together for a long, long time.
You said before that you had found being onstage tough while touring. Now that youâve already wrapped up your third world tour, do you still find that to be the case? SOOBIN: I think Iâm getting better over time. I still canât say that I completely enjoy myself, but the worries I used to have before going onstage have gone away entirely. There used to be times where I found it hard to watch myself onstage because I didnât like how I looked, but now I see myself up there and I think I look cool. (laughs)
The way you have a different outfit on for every sound check when youâre on tour is definitely cool. SOOBIN: For fans who come even though theyâre busy, showing up hours before the concert just to wait, doing it purely out of love, I wanted to be more stylish, so I bought a lot of clothes just for sound checks. The glasses-plus-cardigan combo was something I bought in advance for summer, and the reaction from the audience was amazing! They showed me on the big screen and MOA was screaming their lungs outâlike, not the usual âwow,â but, âaah!â Like shock and awe. (laughs) I was worried I went overboard with the look, but they showed they liked it, so I was happy.
Thereâs no way not to bring up your cover of the Choi Yu Ree song âForestâ when talking about you. You said that the people around you are like tall trees in a forest and that you thought youâre one of them, but that you figured out youâre actually more like the ocean. SOOBIN: Itâs easy to find people around me who are better looking and sing and dance better than I do. I actually started thinking about that at Lollapalooza. The other members looked so happy and like they were having so much fun onstage, but I couldnât. I felt eaten up inside seeing myself not being able to fully enjoy it because of all the pressure. Then I heard Choi Yu Ree explaining that âForestâ is about feeling like youâre not good enough and I thought, âAh, so thatâs what Iâve been going through.â I started to understand my emotions a little bit better. Everyone ends up comparing themselves to others at some point in their livesâitâs unavoidable. And they have times where all they can see are the things they hate about themselves, but itâs ridiculous. I was overflowing with negative feelings when I was working on my âForestâ cover, and I wanted to sort of deal with those feelings and express them.
The music video echoes your thoughts that someday youâll come to shore and become one with the forest. What does the forest mean to you? SOOBIN: Just being a singer whoâs good at singing and dancing, interacting with my fans, enjoying performing, and being able to do it all with complete sincerity. I think I was showing how the forest to me means being happy with the other members when theyâre happy. Nothing bigâjust simple things Iâm not always that good at.
Do you feel more like a forest now that some time has gone by? SOOBIN: Umm ⊠I saw a ton of comments from fans after I covered âForest.â My mindset when I was doing it was, Right now Iâm like the ocean, but Iâll become a part of the forest just like you guysâso wait for me until then. But once I saw what fans were writing, I changed my mind and thought, Do I really need to become a part of the forest? I could be similar to the forest, but I donât have to change myself to be one. My fans kept saying, âThe whole reason we liked you in the first place is because youâre like the ocean, not because we hoped youâd become like a forest. If that were the case, weâd like somebody else. Why do you think it was you?â The ocean comes with its own perks, you know. You need to have some ocean near a forest to add to the scenery and have more things to do. Now I think maybe I tried too hard to fit in by trying to be like the forest. Now I feel like I can shine bright just by being myself.
That lines up with what you recently said in an interview you did in Japan when you said that your 20s, the best and most energetic time of life, are dazzling and fun thanks to knowing MOA. What do you think youâll see when you look back on this youthful period of your 20s? SOOBIN: Joy. Every moment of our lives is packed with good times and bad times, joy and sorrow, but in the end, I think, Iâm on a path towards joy. Even things that are so agonizing that you want to dieâso bad you feel like the whole world is against you, and so bad youâre certain theyâre weighing on you forever, eventually pass.
Doesnât it almost feel funny sometimes, looking back after all that? (laughs) SOOBIN: Yes. It ends up feeling so trivial somehow. Things that felt massive at the time are like a speck in the distance once you get even a little space between them and yourself. Even after all the hardship I went through being a trainee, I can look back now and see there were a lot of good times. Maybe we tend to romanticize the past a bit? (laughs) Even some of the stuff Iâm going through now can be tough, to be honest, but Iâm never going to give up. Thereâs still so much I want to give. The amount of joy I derive from doing this is way higher than the amount of difficulty. I think my lifeâs amazing, even right now.
So amazing. (laughs) SOOBIN: I think so too! (laughs) As time goes on and I get older, when I look back on my youth, my time with TOMORROW X TOGETHER, I wonder if itâll look that much more shiny and amazing. Maybe Iâll feel I was even cooler at this time than I feel I am now.

here are three things about the baby:
he seems to visibly understand a couple of commonly repeated phrases now (???). I too thought this seemed insane (heâs so little!!!) but the internet seems to think this is not that unusual at his age. when heâs lying down on a flat surface I say âready? ready? ready?â in an excited voice and he starts grinning hugely and lifts his hands up to mine and braces his neck so I can slowly pull him up into a sitting position (we call these baby sit-ups haha). and then the more devastating one is that my mom taught him to âgive a kiss.â youâre either holding him or have him sitting up facing you and you say âowen, owen, can you give me a kiss?â and he opens his mouth wide, leans forward, and puts his mouth very gently against your cheek. he will do this each time you ask him. đđđđđ itâs too much!!!!! I donât actually know how much of it is him recognizing phrases vs. recognizing body language and situations⊠I remember from my reading about dog training that dogs learn to recognize the environment first, then the body language cue/gesture, then the words last of all, so maybe heâs just picking up on repeated situations. but itâs still so amazing to me. like weâre not THAT far from him being able to talk and really understand. I canât wait to hear his little speaking voice wahhhh
he is REALLY into his hands lately and loves watching them move around. before naps or bedtime Iâll cradle him against my chest and sing to him for a long time, and he will lift his little baby hands in front of his face and make them âdanceâ ie do these slow graceful little gestures to the music. heâs also just sooooo mesmerized by music. A gave him a little mandolin concert yesterday and he just stared at her without blinking the whole time she was playing.
itâs so fun to watch him start to problem solve. he is absolutely obsessed with this toy thatâs just a flat sheet of crinkly paper. BUT heâs also obsessed with putting stuff in his mouth right now so he can chomp on it and itâs hard to get a flat sheet of paper into his mouth in a way you can satisfyingly nom nom nom on. so this morning I watched him spend a solid five minutes (an eternity in baby time) experiment with different ways of crumpling up the paper so he could shape it into something he could really sink his teeth into. itâs so funny because heâll work at a problem like this with total focus and then heâll get frustrated and start SHRIEKING and then heâs like no no we must persist this paper isnât going to nom nom nom itself!!! and resumes trying. itâs so relatable ahaha I too often have to take shriek breaks in the middle of projects before I can continue.

Okay! I got a few things figured out.
His name is Skyler.
So, he was a guy who quite often drove supplies around for the j-tech mechanics at the Anchorage Shatterdome. (He is forklift certified!)
He has certain Mannerisms about him that scan as Elegant and Princely to many, and this is largely because he watched a Metrick Fucktonne of fairy tale movies as a child. Furthermore, his father (a stage actor) encouraged him to get into school plays, where he channeled what he'd seen and permanently wired it into his little developing brain.
But even as the wee lad was playing Romeo on the school stage, he was also hearing another siren's call: the sweet purr of a motor. He simply Had To Know Things about cars and engines in general. It began with books, and then model vehicles. Of the boy's two interests, it was ultimately cars that won out as his the guiding light of his career path, and lo he studied auto engineering and became a mechanic.
At some point after the Kaiju War started, Skyler applied for a job with the PPDC in j-tech, and was assigned to things like shuttling supplies around and fixing the carts and lifts used for this. He made buddies and stuff, and he beheld Lady Danger up close and personal with his very own eyes.
One day when the weather's warm enough that his Alaskan winter overalls are making him a bit hot, he peels off his top so he can cool off. And that's when this slightly older and extremely Jaeger mechanic happens to come by and catch him in his tank top. This dude's brain immediately goes "HASDFHJKSAHSJKDG" and he is Utterly Besotted.
Now where Skyler constantly exudes a Princely Demeanor at all times (he cannot help it, it is Hardwired Into His Brain), this other guy exudes Feral Dog on the best of days. But for reasons known only to God, he's got a thing for blond twunks. He flirts rather often, but Skyler does not recognize the courting rituals of the Greater Rural AuDHD Mechanic, and so it just sorta. Goes nowhere.
But, and however, eventually after the Kaiju War, Skyler ends up in the same town as this guy, and oh boy if this dude had a tail to wag, his overworked tailbone would need a doctor. He still has every intention of romancing Skyler, and this time he's going to ask his friends for actual advice. You know, like Gottlieb, because Gottlieb seems to be doing pretty well with Newt.
For now, I leave it to you to imagine how that goes. :3
Asked myself what a Pacific Rim character played by Tom Hiddleston would be like, and one of the first things that popped into my head was "his dad would be played by Doug Jones."

Hey Descendants fans, did you know that the franchise has a stage musical adaption? I wasn't until today! But this production is actually really cool, creatively adapting plot points and remixing songs from all over the franchise. There's so much earnest passion bringing it to life. It has the charm of the first movie that endeared us to this stupid franchise despite itself. And the immense added charm of being not a Disney Studios production designed to make money by copying Ever After High with worse writing, but instead an independent project by people just like us who also love this stupid franchise and put in the work and care to make their rewrite fanfic a LIVE MUSICAL. I'd say that it has better writing and costume design than the movies do at times. (Looking at you, Descendants 3).
#mal and ben legitimately have better chemistry here i think#'if only' is a duet!!! they don't have any duets in the films what the heck?#doug and evie are very sweet without the stalking stuff#carlos tragically does not get a dog for time and logistical reasons of it being live theatre i guess#but he's played so well and he and jay get a tourney song and nice teamwork arc#maleficent is FANTASTIC no notes#i do not like how harsh the fairy godmother is sometimes#but that's actually the crux of jane's arc so it works in the end#did i mention the costumes? mal's briar choker and patterns! jay's asymmetrical leggings! carlos's shirt and jacket prints!#maleficent's dragon frill collar! audrey's 'pink! no blue!' dress! ben's fancy waistcoat with gold thread at the start!#the fairy godmother's wand glows!#this is just a fun time. watch it if you like descendants#descendants#disney descendants#descendants musical#descendants the musical#Youtube

Fic Idea: Dazai tries to write the ending to the third book in the series Oda was reading.
Oda wanted to leave the mafia and become a writer, he never got the chance. Dazai, in Oda's memory, writes the story Oda was never able to write.
#Bonus points if Dazai turns out to be a really crappy or just mediocre writer#Perhaps Oda did write in his free time#small stuff but Dazai thinks its all really good#and compared to Dazai's attempt at writing its amazing#Maybe some of the ADA members find the half finished/barely started story#I dont think dazai own a laptop or anything#this go right alongside my hc that sometimes Chuuya#when he's feeling sad and missing his friends#will watch some of the movies lippmann starred in#Dazai sobbing trying to write a novel in Oda's memory#Chuuya sobbing watching movies in Lippmann's memory#Chuuya is Dazai's fucking beta reader-#Okay im done now-#bsd fanfic#bsd fanfiction#bungo stray dogs fanfic#dazai osamu#bsd odasaku#oda sakunosuke#bsd dazai#bsd headcanons

its not really a new thing for me to say that i kinda hate the whole 'werewolf pack' kinda thing for a few reasons, but i dont like, entirely hate it yknow
like my main thing is i like characters having a sortve isolated angsty ass time(i wonder why /s), and werewolves are great for angst! so putting the two together is like. oh hell yes. but thats just a me thing
but also for some reason almost every depiction ive seen of werewolves and werewolf packs has been like... 'their nature/instincts/whatever makes this happen' like, they cant resist it because its something theyre basically forced to do by their biology. ive seen it be blood families, ive seen it be random people who just met and theyre basically bound by the universe i guess, blah blah blah
and idk, i hate that. of course, almost everyone and almost every species has it in their nature to be social and need connection, but its not portrayed like that in these cases. its portrayed more like theyll basically die if they for whatever reason reject it or something, and that their loyalty is their entire life or whatever. idk, its hard to describe.
i think its kinda obvious that im leading this up to found family. who doesnt love found family? who doesnt love when people and characters choose the people that they want to spend their lives with, whether blood is involved or not.
and theres no instinct part of it for me, its just people who want/need support from others, and they find people they love, and you could call it a pack but i just personally wouldnt. its just like any other relationship tbh, but its obv cuter as a group :p
and if it happens to be other werewolves, or other monsters, or even just humans... thats their people that they chose.
#my post#just sayin whatever lol#i just CANT take it seriously when mfs start going off about alphas or mates or what the fuck ever#i hate how forced it is. both forced upon them by the universe they live in but it also just feels forced by the narrative to me idk#funny enough im just thinking about my own werewolf takes#like. i wanted to write a werewolf shaggy fic at one point (still kinda wish i could but ive yet to settle on a premise that i like)#and like... his family is the mystery gang. not because he feels some sense of dog loyalty for them#but because he loves them and theyre his everything and theyd all do anything for eachother#or like. johnny toast and ghost and p.i.e. . like. those are his guys <3#idk if i got my point across at all lol#i mean even in a show i watched lately that had werewolves they mentioned packs and there was a werewolf pack at some point#but it didnt feel like a whole forced by nature thing. it was just all the local werewolves finding community in eachother#AS IT SHOULD BE.#i mean they were really fucked up people but that has nothing to do with the pack stuff. everyone in that show sucked a lot tbh#werewolves#tropes
