okay first is this silly fic that i dont have any snippets from just a description lol:

Tee asks to meet Joe’s girlfriend while they’re away in Louisiana.

so essentially i wanted this to be a super short fic told from Tee's perspective where he's been asking Joe since their rookie year about a girlfriend that he's always going to see on their byes and like offseason and Joe always indulges in his questions. but the silly part is that there is no girlfriend and Joe never told Tee the whole truth abt who he was seeing all those years 😭 so they have a game out in Louisiana and on the plane ride there Tee is like can I finally meet your gf and he figures it out when he sees how Joe is around Ja'Marr pregame.

some stuff im still figuring out abt this one is if i want Ja'Marr to play for the saints in this universe (shivers...) or if he's just living out in NOLA being a wag you know 🙏🏾 it'll come to me

the other fic that i'll share is abt them in college actually & in true ezzie joemarr fashion (that you just learned a few sentences ago) only joe plays football in this one & ja'marr hoops 😛

here's the description (mind you, the descriptions are just for me to write around so if it sounds corny... idk what to tell you but trust the process 😭)

Uno is playing March Madness basketball and Joe is preparing for the draft. Joe is falling (fast).

OKAY: so it takes place at LSU, mostly after the college football championship, between late January and March Madness. it's told from Joe's POV & they know each other previously, but get closer after Joe's season ends and he has time to start going to Ja'Marr's games.

i want it to be introspective of Joe trying to figure out what's going on between him and Ja'Marr but lowkey not realizing that even though Uno is entertaining him March Madness is a big deal for him and it gets really stressful and tense and yeah 🙏🏾

here are some snippets of this!!

when they meet:

“I’m Ja’Marr, by the way,” Justin’s company– Ja’Marr’s– voice cut into the sound of the tape (and registered later than Joe would like to admit). The room had previously been swamped with a tangible silence, so heavy that Joe had nearly omitted the reality of someone else being in the room from his memory.

“Joe,” he said plainly. He turned up the volume slightly so that Ja’Marr would get the idea that he was busy. The game was less than a week away and Joe was adamant on analyzing all of Florida’s games this season so that he would have a solid plan for practice in a few days.

“Justin told me you don’t talk much,” Ja’Marr moved to the couch and sat on the opposite end of Joe, “you watching Florida?”

Joe paused the film, the second time he’d done so this morning for interruption instead of study, at the realization of two things: he was not going to be able to get anything done with Ja’Marr chatting at him, and he liked the way Ja’Marr pronounced it Flo'da just then.

next excerpt is the first time Uno asks Joe to come to a game (after the cfb championship):

“Make sure you come to one of my games before you leave.”

As much as Joe liked Ja’Marr, and appreciated his company at the moment, he didn’t like basketball. At all. Generally, the regular season games were anticlimactic and pretty much identical. There were about three things you could do in basketball: pass, catch, and shoot. None of which excited Joe very much. When it came to basketball, his stance was that if he’s seen one game, he’s seen them all.

“I don’t know, I’m not really a basketball guy,” he trailed.

“That’s ‘cause you ain’t ever seen me play,” Ja’Marr stuck his pinky out, “I promise, it’ll be the best game you’ve been to.”

Hesitantly, Joe reached across the table and wrapped his pinky in Ja’Marr’s.

“Bet,” he smiled and bounced their laced fingers before letting go, “Our next home game is against Florida. I’ll send you my schedule.”

And, well, that would be unnecessary. Joe could easily access their schedule from the school’s athletic website. But, Ja’Marr was a little too enthusiastic at the thought of him coming to a game, and he got to hear him say Flo'da for the first time in a while, so he didn’t mention it. Instead, he said, “I’ll look out for it.”

It’s hard to tell from the stands just how bad a foul is, and shit, if Joe were out there he would flop too. He couldn’t imagine getting physical on the court, bruises, scratches, the whole nine yards, and not getting any calls.

He reaches out and examines Ja’Marr’s arm up close. His fingers lightly brush over the scratches on his bicep, wincing at their severity. Ja’Marr all but flinched at the contact but kept himself steady under Joe’s touch. And to think he almost got a tech for pleading his case. Bullshit.

His eyes dragged further down to where Ja’Marr’s sleeve was earlier, tattoos on display without it now. His fingers followed his eyes, tracing over all the ink he didn’t understand. Ja’Marr was so placid under Joe’s touch, his skin too soft, too inviting.

“Looks like it hurts.” Scratches, tattoos, none of his teammates defending him. It all looks like it hurts. Joe contained himself.

Ja’Marr tilts his head slightly, angling his arm for a better look, “it do?”

“They foul you a lot.”

He smiles, “they do that when you good.”

Despite the on-court protests, he relished the way other teams guarded him in a way Joe didn’t understand. As a spectator, the fouls were a little hard to watch. He found himself holding his breath more than once when Ja’Marr drew contact.

“You think I played good, Burrow?”

“I don’t understand a lot of the rules,” Joe started, “but you had a lot of points.”

“Do you think,” Ja’Marr lowers his voice as if the place is occupied by anyone other than them, “did I look good?”

There weren’t too many things that could fluster Joe or cause him to lose his composure, and it was apparent that Ja’Marr Chase would constantly be the one to find new ways to accomplish just that. The question was miles away from what Joe was expecting, lightyears even. It left his brain scrambling to form a group of coherent words, let alone a full, thoughtful response.

Honestly, the answer was yes. Hell yes. His ball handling skills, no look passes, fast-break shots in transition, how vocal he was directing his teammates while bringing the ball down the court. There was something very attractive about it.

i spent an arm and a leg.. but my family helped me out cuz my birthday is in june.. i feel very grateful but it did make me feel nauseous to spend that money but there’s sooo much that comes with the vip, at least imo normal stuff i think?? like check in, first entry, the keepsake lanyard and stuff and then access to merch BUT u also get soundcheck, send off, and a limited edition gift (whatever that means) buttt my bias is wooyoung and i really really want to meet them i think it’d be so nice to just say hi to them and if i can, take a selfie with woo and then get something like a photocard signed😭 i also think i’ll still be closer on the floor than i would be in a seat even if i’m a bit further back and it’ll be fun to experience the concert with so many other atinys rather than by myself in my seat :(

maxim isn't very talkative, he doesn't really see the point in chitchat, and he doesn't wanna make himself vulnerable in that way if ya get what i mean, and you know this, yet still put in the effort and managed to befriend him. it was difficult, of course, but it was worth it in the end when you got to uncover the sweet man he really is.

he could be cold, but you knew he never meant it, and you could always tell when he was secretly enjoying the supposedly 'annoying' rants you have would have with him on late nights after a mission in an attempt to converse with the russian man.

fast forwarding a wee bit, the cold and hard seat welcomed you inside of the helicopter. it was a fairly easy mission you had just been on and only 2 operators were needed so you and kapkan had went together. it was now time for the journey back to the base.

It doesn't have anything to do with ST5 or Eddie's return (in which I still firmly believe but that's beside the point rn), it's for creative reasons.

I want to stick to a posting schedule with weekly updates of my series on certain days of the week, and with Worlds Apart, I realized that's impossible if you still have to write the chapters. It was super stressful for me, pressuring myself to have the next chapter ready as soon as possible plus while writing I got to a few plot points where I got better ideas than what I'd originally planned but since the prior chapters were already posted, it wasn't possible to change certain plot points afterwards. Since most of the Eddie WIPs I'm working on are series, not oneshots, I decided I'd take the time I needed to actually write the entire story so I could guarantee weekly updates without the pressure of having to write a whole chapter in the matter of a few days, plus there's the advantage of still being able to go back and make changes when I feel they're needed. And since inspiration always changes for me, it means I'm not able to write one series after another so I'll be able to start posting one while working on the next, but I'm switching between them, working on all of them basically at the same time.

The ST5 release is simply the deadline I set to hold myself accountable😂

And the WIP list will make it possible to update my progress I made on each story/series so those who are waiting for new stories can see I'm making progress!

hey everyone it's kay!!!

just wanted to give you guys an update since i haven't been posting much! im just super busy due to the fact that i leave for tampa in a few days and im rushing to get my eras tour costume done and get a head start with assignments so i don't have to stress about that.

im also feeling a lot better...i've been in a little mental and emotional funk due to the stress but it's getting better as the days go by. im just trying to catch up on my sleep also because i haven't been getting any / not getting the best quality of sleep.

ok so i have some like drama & i need a little advice if u wouldn’t mind😅 (also fair trigger warning at the end i do mention someone ik having suicidal thoughts so if you’re not comfortable i understand)

so i’m 21 but i got ahead in school (i finished my undergrad last spring & im currently in grad school) & over the summer i decided to join the “party” scene (mostly bc i felt like finishing early + covid robbed me of my college years) (also worst mistake of my life bc that was the worst summer i’ve ever had)

i ended up coming out of the summer w/ little bit of a drinking problem as well. fast forward to nov, my friend group split into 2 groups bc one liked another & he didn’t like him back. so obvi i go w/ one friend bc he’s my bff & this girl i didn’t know all that well “joins” our “side”. she’s 24 almost & the complete opposite to me (not saying that it’s bad it’s just i’m a rlly studious/reserved person most of the time, call me boring i would prefer to stay home & watch a shitty movie where as she is big into partying & super outgoing)

i wanted to distance myself from her before the friend group broke up just bc i knew we didn’t have a lot in common + she also belittled me & tried to force me into her own habits sometimes (making fun of my obsession w/ top gun, joking abt the one guy she knows i’ve been w/ when she’s been w/ guys way worse, making fun of me for liking taylor swift, screaming at me for not finishing the rest of a bottle of liquor (we had already drank half of it earlier) at 6 am when the party ended 3 hours prior, trying to get me to do molly/coke when i told her no so many times)

so anyways, finally like 2 days ago she called my friend & i a loser bc we both used dating apps to find guys instead of going to bars or something (idk why he would be a loser, he’s not even 21 yet, how’s he gonna get inside the bar??) (i’m also usually pretty non confrontational, esp w/ her bc ik she can get heated but i was severely sleep deprived/stressed) so i told her if we’re losers than what is she since the last guy she was in love w/ & met at a bar had gone to jail & was currently going back soon. all she said was that she wasn’t gonna talk to us the rest of the week & i didn’t even respond bc i didn’t care. the next day my other friend in the gc was like “u should talk to so & so” & i was like listen idc anymore & he tried saying he knew i cared when i don’t… i even told him i don’t have time to care (since i’m in grad school + working & the only free time i have is used for tgm tumblr or tiktok😭) i mean he shouldn’t rlly be all that surprised since i had told him in october i was gonna distance myself from her bc our lifestyles/morals (she literally drinks & drives & does not care) just weren’t the same.

my thing is, am i a cunt for just like ghosting her?? i was already planning on it so long ago. i thought maybe i could try to stick it out w/ her but i just couldn’t, esp when she just didn’t try to understand why i’ve had to give up certain things bc of my schooling/career path (she’s never gone to college + her job is… well her coworkers are 16-18 while she is 24 if that says anything). it was also rlly hard to deal w/ her constant texts abt wanting to die/kill herself (i’ve tried helping as much as i could, but as someone who has dealt w/ thoughts abt that stuff & out of recovery it’s hard to be around someone with them) she has tried to snap me twice w/ pics & i just left her on open but idk, i probably am a bitch tbh 🤷🏻‍♀️
