HIII omg im so very happy for you!!! this is ari's lz faves + essentials playlist which i would say covers the basics pretty well, though i don't love some picks myself. this is my lz faves playlist i threw together just now, in purely chronological order and with some live album versions thrown in when the studio recordings just don't suffice. my favourite albums overall are houses of the holy 1973 when im going for a more lighthearted feel and led zeppelin iv 1971 when im more in a heavy rock mood (though i wager my most listened-to album is actually presence 1976), but every album except for the last one is great in its own way and there really is something for everyone!

i also very strongly recommend the live albums and in general the live/bootleg versions, led zeppelin are at their core a concert band and while the studio versions of most songs are great they really don't compare to the experience that is hearing them performed live, especially 1969-1973. i famously got into zeppelin by watching their concert movie the song remains the same (filmed 1973, aired 1976) at the cinema, which made me fall in love with robert's performance and the band's music, and while i don't necessarily recommend you go and watch the whole thing i for sure recommend watching some clips on youtube and listening to the concert album, as well as their other live album how the west was won (recorded 1972).

Honestly, I kinda find it fitting that Rain Code's narrative leaving so many things open for the community to ravenously speculate on is just plain fitting for one of the game's messages being all about reaching conclusions in your own way. We may not know everything, but there's satisfaction to be found in filling in the holes of the unknown with our educated guesses and theories. I dunno whether this was intentional on the writers' part, but it's hard to deny that this game has encouraged us to be detectives and seek out our own truths. Our deductions may not be perfect, but they bring us happiness.
