The two dogs/wolves patches are mine
The wolf and dogtism patches are mine
The boygirl and bi-gender patches are mine
The lighter filler patch is mine
And the back patch is mine
What I mean by Mine is that I made the stamp or stencil my self and printed them on the fabric, a couple of the patches I got inspiration to make them from elsewhere
The rest of the patches are from Etsy

Tbh I think the fast fashion conversation should involve poor ppl but not in any way in the form of shaming but more like: “you are being taken advantage of by large corporations that have women and children enslaved to make crappy clothes in excessive amounts that have literal lead that will damage ur body in serious ways that ur pressured to buy via influencers that form a parasocial relationship with you and don’t care about you to overconsume them in large amounts that won’t last and have to be thrown away at some point and all that ends up fucking the environment. Plus, the cycle of consumerism is damaging to ur finances to keep u in poverty and mental health of always wanting more but never satisfied.”
I am saying right now you don’t need to throw out fast fashion items you currently own, if they fall apart, they can be repurposed. I am also saying I’ve been guilty of shopping fast fashion but am also making a commitment to eliminate fast fashion purchases and mindset in my life. The root cause of these fast fashion corpos to keep doing what they do is purely based on you buying from them and you, the consumer in this capitalist world, have the power to change that. Obviously there’s little you can do to avoid big oil or buying things made with prison labor without serious direct action but the fashion industry is one that is by design meant to be maintained by mindless consumerism and overconsumption.
If you are poor, please do whatever within ur means to avoid fast fashion, whether it’s buying from thrift stores other than goodwill and just buying less clothes and focusing on more important things in ur life. A better tomorrow is still possible if you allow it.

Patch Pants update
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s been a few months since I last posted a pic of my pants, here’s the wear that happened:
I oil paint a CONSIDERABLE amount in these (before I discovered an apron) so the paint stains are from that. I don’t care
I removed the pocket. It clashed with the rest of my pants
I’m patching over the Kittie band patch, it was far too big
I painted over the old canvas patches, now they’re nice and shiny :)
Finished patching the lower left cuff, since I was too lazy to do it before
Really debating making a new pair, skinnier ones since these are so “loud” persay. Probably not though, just a thought

Here’s the pictures of my old vest! Sorry it took so long I’ve been very busy with classes and appointments @squirmydonnie :D hope you like it
As with my jacket most of the patches are from Etsy, my favorite one is the Mojave one cause I did in fact use to live in the Mojave in California, also my mom bought the vest from a thrift store and gifted it to me on Christmas (i don’t remember which year my memory is fuzzy)

Isn't it funny how the whole concept of the punk rock movement was to escape stereotypes and labels and to promote the inclusivity of all people and the lovely things that make them different?
Yet, in the process... they labeled themselves, afflicted themselves with one of the most crippling stereotypes and became one of the most non inclusive and gatekeeping groups of all time. Most punk rockers spend more time debating what the definition of "punk" is, and kicking those out of the scene who don't fit their own personal definition, than they do actually chasing their own ideals.
And it's sad. I love the punk rock movement in concept... but the reality is very different.
In my studies and observations, I feel that punk was never about fighting for one specific thing. Punk was about radical individuality and accepting yourself the way you are. It was about fighting the system. It was about bonding together over music and fashion and culture so tightly that they could never break us apart. Yes, punk is a political movement, but it's not just about ONE political belief. It wasn't about what you believed but rather HOW you believed it.
The Ramones and the Sex Pistols were both right wing bands. The Clash was left wing. There's videos of punks from the eighties, the OGs, talking about being conservative and fighting for right wing politics. And in actuality, the whole idea was built on Anarchy anyway, not this dividing, ostracizing, black and white mindset that modern day American politics uses to turn us against each other and make us weak.
Are you fighting for what you believe in? Are you out there being bold and raising hell and never compromising or selling out? Fighting for the greater good of humanity, whatever that is to you? That's punk rock to me. Unfortunately, the new generation of punk rockers doesn't see things that way. Which is alright with me, I suppose. The title isn't worth enough to me to argue with my brothers and sisters over it. I'm just here to rock out and throw up the finger at the Man.
I never wanted the labels anyway.
In summary, punk's not dead. Just confused.

I hate to make this post but my family and I need help.
We're poor and struggling, and the stress of it all is killing us. Not only are we a big family, but we have to take care of my boyfriend's two grandmas on top of it- One who we just found out has throat cancer and has been in and out of the hospital due to complications related to it, and the other who is developing Alzheimer's so my boyfriend and I are taking care of her 24/7. (We have no income coming in from this either.)
We're barely getting by and not only are we emotionally and mentally drained, but stress, lack of proper sleep, and having issues with our pharmacy is affecting us physically. We've had to push our own well-being and personal lives aside for everything else, and we're exhausted and desperate. Anything helps.
! We also make things to sell (patches, pins, shirts, bags/pouches & more to come) ! We have some listed on our depop, but here are some examples because we also take commissions!!

I don't really know what else to say besides anything is appreciated seriously, including reblogs, so thank you for taking the time to read this. Please message me if you have any questions or concerns.
