New "Power Rangers" Anthology Announced

BOOM! Studios has announced a new Power Rangers anthology written by Power Rangers actors about their characters. Writers on Power Rangers: Across The Morphin Grid are David Yost, Walter Jones, Steve Cardenas, Mat Groom, Nakia Burrise, JD Sutphin, and Meghan Camerana. Art for the anthology is by Paulina Ganucheau, Tango, Patrick Mulholland, Domo Stanton, and Anand Ramcheron.

Power Rangers: Across The Morphin Grid #1 goes on sale on October 30, 2024. The main cover is by Ejikure with variant covers by Riley Rossmo, Goñi Montes, and Matt Taylor.

Fighter actor Nishant Kkhanduja recalls a prank played by Anil Kapoor on him; says, “It was a funny but anxious incident”

Nishant Kkhanduja also shared about his experience of working with the extensive star cast of the patriotic drama.

Actor Nishant Kkhanduja is currently riding high post the success of Hritik Roshan, Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter. Having shared screen space with some of the biggest stars from Bollywood, Nishant recalled the experience of working with them and along with that he also recalled an incident where he ended up losing his diamond ring. However, it seems it was a small prank played by Anil Kapoor.

Sharing this interesting incident from sets he recalled losing his diamond ring, Nishant Kkhanduja said, “It’s a funny but anxious incident. I used to wear my solitaire diamond ring to the set every day and before the shot used to keep that in my pocket. One fine day, the pocket was torn, little did I know this, my ring fell from it. When I was trying to find it, I got very anxious on not finding it anywhere. I legit asked everyone on the set if anyone has seen it. To which, Anil sir had found it and played a prank on me. He kept this a secret until the day ended. I was panicking, and when I was leaving the sets, his manager handed me the ring, since Anil sir was in his shot.”

Speaking of his experience working on this film alongside such a wonderful cast, he added, “Working on Fighter was an emotional rollercoaster, filled with moments of awe, camaraderie, and profound growth. Stepping onto set for the first time alongside the legendary Hrithik sir, under the direction of my idol Siddharth Anand, was a surreal experience. It wasn't just the star power that made Fighter special; it was the bonds formed with my co-stars, particularly Akshay Oberoi and Karan Singh Grover, who quickly became like family to me.”

Fighter teaser: Tricolour shot, top-class visuals, badass tagline will ensure that Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone starrer opens with a BANG on Republic Day 2024!

Hrithik Roshan rocked the show last month with his special appearance in the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif-Emraan Hashmi starrer Tiger 3. And now, this month, too, he's a talking point thanks to his upcoming release, Fighter. The posters of Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor are out and all eyes are now on the teaser. Bollywood Hungama was the first one to break the news that the much-awaited promo will be out on December 8. A day before the teaser release, Bollywood Hungama got a sneak peek of the teaser, that too in 3D. And one can say with confidence that Fighter, directed by master director Siddharth Anand, has the potential to be the first blockbuster of 2024!

Fighter's teaser, as per the censor certificate, is 1 minute and 16 seconds long. It introduces the world of the film and that it is Indian cinema's first aerial action franchise. Hrithik Roshan as Patty looks dashing and is sure to be greeted with whistles when this promo is shown in cinemas. But watch out for him with the tricolour. It's a money shot that is guaranteed to get seetis and taalis in hordes.

Deepika Padukone, too, seems aptly cast as Minni and she also has her share of action scenes. A quick glimpse is seen of her sizzling avatar and it gives an indication that after her hot appearance in Pathaan, she’s once again all set to soar the temperatures in the chilling month of January. Finally, Anil Kapoor’s casting as Rocky also gives a lot of weightage.

What comes across as a surprise in the teasers are the supers/texts. Two of them stand out – ‘Trying to catch us? You must be joking!’ and ‘Republic Day will never be the same again’ – take the impact to another level. These badass texts give a novel touch and also probably are in sync with the attitude of the characters in the film.

The article cannot be complete without the mention of Siddharth Anand. He has always come up with stylish teasers, be it Bang Bang (2014), War (2019) or Pathaan (2023). Fighter’s teaser is no exception. It is stylishly and neatly cut and proves yet again why Siddharth deserves to be one of the most celebrated filmmakers of Indian cinema. Moreover, the VFX matches global standards. It looks as visually appealing as a big-scale Hollywood film and yet has the mass appeal that the single audience craves. Fighter is also a special film for him as it is also his first outing as a producer, along with Mamta Anand, under Marflix Pictures in association with Viacom18 Studios.

Fighter’s teaser will be out on Friday, December 8, at 11:00 am. Interestingly, it is Hrithik Roshan’s first 3D film. It’ll also be released in 2D and IMAX on January 25, 2024 worldwide, that is, exactly a year after Siddharth Anand’s record-breaking film, Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.

The facts about Vanessa’s history prior to Security Breach. (And a summary of the different companies involved in AR and HW.)

I won’t lie, this (hopefully!) effortpost was prompted by watching Dual Processes latest video about Vanessa, where they state that ‘In AR, Vanessa pretends to be an IT Rep to trick Silver Parasol Games into giving her full access to the game.’ Which was… interesting, to me. Because it showed Vanessa’s email to Steve Wilson, who works for Anna Kwemto, who works for…

We don’t actually know the company she, or her underlings, work for.

Anyway, this isn’t made to target any specific people- Dual Processes’s video about Vanessa is brilliant (no spoilers- go watch it!) despite my quibbles at the very start. And the corporate chains in HW and AR, are confusing and easily mistaken- to the point the fnaf wikia has a lot of errors I needed to shift through while researching this topic…

I’ll lay all my chips on the table straight up- I had to find out a lot of Vanessa's backstory just before Ruin released, because I wasn’t really following fnaf until after Ruin was announced. I’d dipped around the HW days.

But I’d noticed a fair bit that, because few people played AR, and even those who did play AR likely didn’t see all the emails, that there are a lot of assumptions about who works for who, and who does what. False info that led me into believing a lot of misleading information about Vanessa before I looked into it more.

This misinfo even goes as far back as HW- do you think Vanessa works for Silver Parasol Games in HW? It’s a common belief- but I think it’s a misconception. And I’ve brought proof to the table.

Anyway, the point of this is to lay out anything about who works for who, and where they work. Because corporate chains are complicated, in a series that is already complicated enough!

First things first, what companies are we dealing with?

Well, there’s Silver Parasol Games. Which gets shut down and brought out during HW’s development. (Tape Girls Tapes- 1, 10, 15) I’m not gonna try to put years of operation because… no. But I do need to make it clear it shuts down prior to Vanessa beta testing the game.

People working at this company named in HW include Dale, Jeremy, and Tape Girl. If you go off the scrapped fake website for Silver Parasol Games, then the company also includes Gabriella, Tonya, and Aiden. (One of the two girls is likely Tape Girl.)

There is also Another Potential Development Studio, which is unnamed but suggested to be buying out Silver Parasol Games. (Tapes 10, 15). We don’t know much about this company other than Vanessa must work here during HW. [She never mentions a boss, or coworkers with this company.]

For AR, there is Anna Kwemto’s company, which is a subcontractor working for Fazbear Entertainment. It goes unnamed in AR.

The people working at this company include Anna Kwemto, Daniel Rocha, Raha Salib, Steve Wilson, and Mark Cho.

DLZ Shipping Solutions- a company that shipped animatronics parts to… they don’t say which company. But we at least know which person- Lisa Jameson (regional director of logistics for an unknown company.)

Their employees include Jimmy Hauss, (before getting fired) and James Strand.

Fazbear Entertainment- has a variety of teams and job positions. I’ll try to list them all here, though not in order of operation sorry. Kayla Stringer- Legal. Vanessa A- Security. Luis Cabrera- IT. Shonda Ford- legal. Greg Abernathy- IT. Dan Ximenez- IT. Jerome Khan- Accounting. James Campbell- IT. Todd C- Office Staff. Aiden Jackson- IT. Ivan Gagarin- Accounting. Diannah Larimore- Marketing (laid off). Maria A- Marketing (laid off.). Cheryl M- Office Staff. Anand G- Legal.

All from here on out have unknown job roles- Kenneth Freeman, Christie Buckley, Ben Pulley, Karen Soto, Brenda Tanaka, Stanley Howser, Jack Sims, Jay Murphy, Charles Ramirez. Jim Campbell.

There are also basic login details from some unknown people, from another unnamed company in ‘Security Incident Log- September.’ They are J_B and A_L.

There are also more workers who don’t have a specific company they’re tied to- but are working with the Funtime Service. These include Nora- R&D. Tristan- Compliance. Charles- QA. Isolde- Customer Service.

Okay. So that’s the raw data. Kowalski- analysis!

Jim and James Campbell are… interesting. They could be brothers. They could just have the same last name. They could just be a mistake- someone misspelling a name and accidentally making two characters where there should be one.

Honestly, I’m assuming it’s a mistake. AR was being made in that timeframe where Scott was pretty hands off about the story, and barely communicating with Steel Wool about SB. This is likely just a mistake that no one cared enough about enough to notice or correct. Like Luis being in IT in AR, then in Marketing in SB. Without any foreshadowing that he was transferring.

I wish they’d clarified which company Lisa Jameson, Nora, Tristan, Charles and Isolde worked for- or if they worked together, even. It sounds like they all work with the funtime service, based on the emails. But I can’t be sure of it, because none of the Nora/Tristan/Isolde/Charles emails reference Lisa, and vise versa.

It’d be useful to know if they work for Anna Kwemto’s company, Fazbear Entertainment, or somewhere else entirely. Because that’s the key to figuring out whether Anna Kwemto’s lot were scanning circuit boards for game development (unlikely for the timeline- but as said in the Jim and James rant- Scott wasn’t communicating with his teams. And its unlikely Steel Wool was communicating with Illumix either.) Or whether they were scanning circuit boards to recreate animatronics for the funtime service.

If Lisa was working for Anna- then it’s fairly cut and dry. They’re working in a warehouse storing animatronics, with an office attached for more hands-off staff.

If Lisa was working for Fazbear Entertainment in-house, then that leaves the possibility that Anna Kwemto’s lot weren’t running the Funtime Service. (Since Lisa’s emails imply her warehouse has ‘active animatronics’ too- including Bonnie eating a cat… which… I could’ve done without knowing thanks game.) And the Nora/etc emails explicitely talks about the new animatronics being sent out with the Funtime Service.

Also, sucks not knowing for sure who and where from J_B and A_L are. I’m assuming that they’re unnamed people from Fazbear Entertainment’s IT department- considering when Vanessa hijacks herself an IT email address, it has the same layout (V_A). But it’s not confirmed and no one with these initials is written as working for Fazbear. (Unless I missed something- please let me know!)

With Anna Kwemto’s company- it scans circuit boards of animatronics, which is why people might confuse them with Silver Parasol Games. However, they are never stated to be involved in game development. And by the time Vanessa has left Another Potential Development Studio to join Fazbear Entertainment, Silver Parasol Games should no longer exist as a separate entity. (Considering it was going to be bought out by Another Potential Development Studio while Vanessa was working there.) Timeline-wise, Anna Kwemto being the head of Silver Parasol Games doesn’t add up. And circuit boards could be scanned for a variety of reasons- say, if you’re making replicas of old animatronics for the funtime service.

(But that’s getting into speculation- while it’s implied they’re a subcontractor running the Funtime Service for Fazbear in the emails, there’s no explicit proof. Only the email from Raha Salib to the rest of the crew talking about an unknown user giving commands to all ‘active animatronics’ really gives us a hint to them running the Funtime Service. And that doesn’t neccesarily mean active animatronics are from the Funtime Service.)

‘Where are you getting a timeline from Summerly?’ from the games.

Vanessa gets infected by Glitchtrap, because circuit boards are sent to Silver Parasol Games and scanned into the Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience. (The in universe VR game Vanessa’s working on) Vanessa can’t start being possessed by Vanny and acting weird around Luis before she get’s possessed- so HW must happen before the storyline events of AR.

During the story of AR, Vanessa (most likely Vanny puppeting her) locks out all of Anna’s workers, including Anna, after they scan some circuit boards and got a virus. Because they’ve been locked out, all ‘active animatronics’ become impossible to control. Around this time, either Vanny or GGY sends out a data package using a new account- ‘_pizzaplex’ that presumably 1. Targets the pizzaplex currently in the process of either being built or operating, and 2. Infects the animatronics there.

(Again- Scott was hands off during this time. I know this contradicts The Storyteller.)

If it was any other way around, Vanessa wouldn’t be infected with Glitchtrap during AR. She’d just be… being extremely weird for no good reason. Doesn’t make sense storywise.

Ultimately, these random companies and workers aren’t important except for acting as reference points- who works where and whos coworkers with who?

The important part is Vanessa. And this post does have something to say about Vanessa. Mainly, what I’ve already included- no, she did not work for Silver Parasol Games. But also something I had falsely believed prior to doing this research- she didn’t work at Fazbear Entertainment before working as a security guard there during AR, either. Or at least, that’s never proven. She works for the company that buys out Silver Parasol Games. Then probably job hops between games, to get into a position that is more useful for Glitchtrap. A position at Fazbear Entertainment.

It’s never explicitly stated that Vanessa (or Vanny) is sending the tutorial emails to customers of the funtime service. But considering the focus on collecting remnant, the sender being ‘FAZ//...AR ENT##AIN_!MENT’, and the repetitions of ‘funFUNFUNfun’ and similar throughout those emails… It’s likely Vanny is sending out those emails after hijacking the funtime service animatronics. (Which would explain why she wanted to work at FazEnt, and why she locked out Anna Kwemto’s lot if they were running the Funtime Service animatronics for FazEnt.) Basically, in order to control the animatronics, she needed to control the subcontractor (s) and have a position in FazEnt to exploit.

Why did she want to control the animatronics? Remnant, probably. The modified emails sent from ‘FAZ//...AR ENT##AIN_!MENT talk about collecting remnant. And some of the animatronics sent out through the Funtime Service emulate the Funtime Animatronics… like Funtime Freddy and Circus Baby. Who would have stomach hatches, if whoever replicated them didn’t think too hard about what they were building.

Basically, Vanny needed remnant. Possibly for rebuilding Afton. Possibly for fixing the Mimic. She could risk herself getting remnant personally… or she could get some machines to do it for her. These machines would also be useful for, say, disposing of some meddling therapists at a later date.

This may even explain what the scooper's there for in Ruin. Vanny may have been using the scooper on the Funtime Service rentals to receive their remnant after they killed someone.

Anyway, that’s all I got for now.

AMC Picks Up Captain Nemo Origin Series ‘Nautilus’ From Disney, Plans to Air Show in 2024

The Captain Nemo origin story series “Nautilus” lives on, with AMC Networks licensing the U.S. and Canadian linear and streaming rights to the live-action series from Disney Entertainment.

The 10-episode show was originally slated to air on Disney+, but it was announced back in August that the show was not going forward at the streamer as part of a wide-ranging cost cutting initiative at the Mouse House.

AMC and AMC+ will now air the show as a special television event in 2024, with an exact premiere date to be announced later. Inspired by Jules Vernes’ “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea,” the show will explore the early life of Captain Nemo, who is played by Shazad Latif. The character is described as “an Indian Prince robbed of his birthright and family, a prisoner of the East India Mercantile Company and a man bent on revenge against the forces that have taken everything from him.”

“’Nautilus’ is a big, sweeping drama that is sure to appeal to fans of our Anne Rice Immortal Universe and other buzzy and fan-forward series like ‘Orphan Black: Echoes,’” said Ben Davis, executive vice president of original programming for AMC Networks and AMC Studios. “We are looking forward to bringing it to AMC+ and AMC as a special television event next year.”

Along with Latif, the cast of the show includes Georgia Flood, Thierry Fremont and Céline Menville, with guest appearances from Richard E. Grant, Anna Torv and Noah Taylor.

The series was developed and produced by Moonriver TV’s Xavier Marchand and Seven Stories’ Anand Tucker. James Dormer serves as writer and executive producer. Johanna Devereaux, Chris Loveall, Colleen Woodcock, and Daisy Gilbert also executive produce. Cameron Welsh serves as producer. Michael Matthews was the lead director.

“I am hugely excited that the efforts of everyone involved in the making of the show will be seen on such a prestigious network,” said Dormer.

“We are so thrilled to present the epic adventures of Captain Nemo and his legendary submarine The Nautilus alongside the other incredible AMC universes,” said Marchand and Tucker. “The series will take viewers on a breathtaking journey with Nemo and his crew, battling terrifying creatures and the dark forces of the British Empire.”

“Nautilus” is distributed by Disney Entertainment and acknowledges the support from the Australian Government’s Location Incentive and from the Queensland Government via Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy.

Backstory:

Daya was a pretty regular boy: average grades, average home life, average social life, average everything.

At 15, the boy experienced a sudden change in behavior; he became reckless, often committed small crimes such as shoplifting or vandalizing walls with the help of his friends, he started studying less and started snapping at everyone around him.

Three years later Daya began losing the contact he had with the outside world, he dropped out of school, stopped talking with friends and family and locked himself in his room for days on end.

This caused him to become more paranoid, he heard people murmur in his ears and saw shadows in the back of his eyes.

After a while, Daya started experiencing delusions, the most frequent one being that "someone" was after him and he needed to escape from it. So, the young man ran away from home.

He planned to go in another state and "start his new life"; as he was sitting at a  bus station, he met Carol: Carol was a middle aged woman, whose attention got caught by his incoherent mumbling and panicked look.

She offered him to stay at her home, as long as he did a few housework for her.

Seeing that as an opportunity to finally escape, Daya accepted.

A few months passed, the man started noticing how little time Carol spent home, she always said it was because of her job but she never told him what her job was.

One day, out of curiosity, Daya looked through her studio in hope to find something that would have helped him know more about who Carol really was.

What he found there horrified him: the drawers were full of files describing weird experiments, along with pictures of said experiments.

Obviously concerned, Daya tried to call the police, but they didn't believe his claims.

Carol was informed by one of her neighbors that the police had been called on her house; she was furious. Daya tried to say that he had accidentally called the wrong number, but she knew he was lying.

After that event, Carol had no other choice but to lock him up in a place she knew he wouldn't cause any trouble in: the facility where she worked.

Years passed in that horrid building. Daya, who had been labelled as "017", was now only an empty shell of what he used to be.

He was tired of this. He wanted everything to end.

So, one night, he snapped.

The man killed every living being in that lab, he didn't bother to make it quick, they didn't deserve it, they caused so much pain to so many people and it was time they got what they deserved.

When Carol came back to the facility the next morning, she was met with the sight of blood covering the hallways and corpses scattered everywhere around the building.

Suddenly, she heard a scream coming from one of the rooms and suddenly rushed over to check who it was. There, she saw him: 017 was brutally killing one of the last doctors left, she watched in horror as the man continued stabbing the corpse even when it showed no signs of being alive.

The woman immediately pulled him away and threw him on the ground, before he could do anything she stomped repeatedly on his chest, until he was left coughing blood.

Carol was about to kill him, but seeing the pained look in his eyes as he passed out made her feel some kind of pity.

Before she could change her mind, Carol brought 017's unconcious body at the edge of a nearby forest and left the facility one last time, making sure no one else saw that cursed building ever again.

Movin' Up (& Out)!

Deep breaths. Everything is fine.

Ari felt like a child heading into the principal's office as she stood in front of the doors of "Dinky Beats Studios." What has probably only been a moment felt like hours as Ari stared at the door, unable to go in. She was met with a lot of confused and frustrated looks from other sims walking around her to go in and out of the building.

"Um, honey..." It was Ari's mom's nervous chuckle that pulled her from her trance. Junie placed a hand gently on her daughter's arm. "I don't want to push too much, but I don't think we can keep standing in front of the doors like this. We're kind of in the way."

Ari gulped and took one last deep breath. "Right," she said while exhaling, throwing an internal Hail Mary to gather as much confidence as she could. She's been here before, but never to meet the CEO of the label one-on-one like this. In fact, Ari's never met the CEO of the label. She's only really worked with Krishna Anand, a music producer that produces for the label. Communication between her and the label was never this vague. Even Krishna was communicating less with Ari. Ari really did feel like she was headed towards detention, only this "detention" affected her livelihood and dreams. But, with one push, Ari was through the other side of the door, greeted by a receptionist.

"Welcome to Dinky Beats Studios! My name's Clarissa -- how can I help you?" She was wearing a light blue sweater with purple puffy pigtails. A headset was attached to her ear. She didn't even look up as she greeted Ari, but continued to type away on the computer.

"Hi, um, I'm Ari Ito. I'm-"

Clarissa's head snapped up and her fingers froze on her keyboard. "OH MY GOSH OF COURSE!" Clarissa's sudden exclamation startled Ari, and Clarissa quickly composed herself, and stood up. "I'm so sorry. I'm a huge fan and I didn't even recognize you and we've been expecting you, and Mr. Pine is-"

"Right here." The elevator doors were closing behind a short man with blonde hair and a five-o' clock shadow. He was wearing a denim button down shirt with khakis. "I'll take it from here, Clarissa. Thank you. And next time, please look up from what you're doing to greet our clients." Clarissa looked embarrassed and sat back down in her chair. The blonde-haired man walked up to Ari, extending a hand. "Ari. It's so nice to finally meet you. I'm Asher Pine, CEO of this here record label. Welcome!"

Ari's gaze shifted between Clarissa and Asher as she grasped Asher's hand firmly and shook, much to Asher's approval. "It's nice to finally meet you, thanks for having me. This is my mother, Junie." Asher and Junie exchanged handshakes and quick "hi's" as Junie wore a tight smile. There was something about him to her that seemed off.

"I'm sure you're probably anxious to know why I personally requested you at the studios this morning."

"Anxious is an understatement," Ari laughed nervously, and Asher joined in.

"Well, right this way, let's go to my office to talk, we have a lot to discuss!" Ari and Junie followed Asher to the elevator to his office. Ari took in the photos on the walls of different celebrities of current and past that worked with "Dinky Beats." Ari couldn't help but feel inspired and honored. She's walking the same halls they've walked. She's one of them! "I hope the trip here was okay?"

"Oh, it was fine, but, Mr. Pine-"

"Please, call me Asher." By this point, they had made it to Asher's executive office, and he held the door open for them. "And please, help yourselves to refreshments and snacks and join me at the table."

"Oh, thanks, but, Asher?" Ari grabbed a bottle of water. "I'm confused, honestly. Am I heading into bad news? Because I know I haven't released-"

"Bad news?? Why do you think we have bad news?" Asher plopped into his chair and spun around until he was facing Ari. "Did someone say something to you?"

"Well, no," Ari took a seat across from Asher, and Junie found a seat beside her. "It's just that you guys are constantly pushing me to release music and content and do shows and meetups and I haven't been putting out anymore music in the meantime. But I am working on music. I actually have an EP ready to release right now. I brought it and I want to show you."

Asher sat up in his seat, his eyes not leaving Ari's face. "Ari, I-"

"No, please just hear me out, Mr.-er, Asher. I am dedicated. I've worked so hard to get here. This is all I've ever wanted and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be under this label. I have, for you, right now, 4 songs for an EP ready for release. Let me show you, Asher, because I am good. I will bring this label so much money. And I will have so much fun doing it. Just...if you're considering dropping me, don't. It will be a mistake."

Ari exhaled sharply, awaiting Asher's response. Junie gave Ari a supportive hand squeeze. A slow smile started to form on Asher's face.

"Ari. We aren't dropping you. We want you to tour."

Junie's gasp filled the room as she covered her mouth and looked wide-eyed at her daughter. Ari was frozen, her expression still the same.

We want you to tour.

"You mean, like a real tour?" Junie asked, squeezing Ari's hand to gather her attention. "Like concert venues and stadiums and props and sets and rehearsals and traveling and sound checks?" Junie's eyes got wider with each description, and Ari closed her eyes, a small smile forming on her face. All of her worries seemed so silly now. Akira was right. She was right.

"Exactly that," Asher chuckled, intertwining his fingers. His gaze went back to Ari. "Ari, I'm sure you're aware of Hunter Huntsley, right?"

Ari opened her eyes and nodded, taking a few swigs of her water before speaking. "Y-yes! Hunter Hunstley, pop star, I love him! I follow him on everything. He's incredible." And Dinky Beats' biggest money maker. "W-why do you ask?"

Asher's smile widened. "Well, he's announcing his tour this week, called "The Heartbreaker Tour," and he's searching for the perfect opening act. I told you him about you, and how you've been with the label for some time now and that you have some serious potential. You just need some...help promoting your work. And get this: he said he already knew about you! He loves your voice, and he's a big fan of your single." Ari's heart skipped a few beats. 'The Hunter Huntsley!' She thought. 'A fan of my music!'

"He wants to meet with you and discuss going on tour with him as his opening act," Asher continued, "but we need an answer quickly Ari; we already have venues booked."

"Wait, hold on," Ari couldn't wrap her head around what was being said to her. A tour? With Hunter Huntsley?! "You want me to tour. With Hunter Huntsley?"

"Yes. The first leg of the tour is here in San Myshuno, and we plan to book dates in San Sequoia, Copperdale, Willow Creek, Windenburg, and Sulani in the future. Of course, that means we need you to relocate to San Myshuno in the meantime. We can set you up with first and last's months rent on an apartment here in the district, and we all need to meet to sign some contracts and talk logistics." Asher clapped his hands together in delight. "And I'm so happy to hear that you have an EP ready to go! Perfect timing. Let's get to a booth with Krishna and get this EP released tonight!"

"Tonight?!" Ari's shock was fading off and excitement began to creep in. "I'm releasing an EP and announcing myself as Hunter Huntsley's opening act tonight?!" Ari couldn't help the squeal that escaped her as she and her mother hugged. "Yes, 100% I will do this! Thank you so much! Oh my gosh, mom!" Ari turned to her mom and gave her another big hug. "I did it!"

"I knew you could!" Junie's eyes twinkled with pride and a little bit of tears. "How soon does she need to be back here?"

"Well it's Monday today, so let's head to the booth to work on getting your EP released by midnight. On Friday, I would like you to be back here to meet the whole production crew--Hunter's touring team. They're going to be your team too. We meet, talk logistics, sign contracts, shake hands, take pictures, and set schedules, and we're hitting the ground running by next Monday."

Ari's jaw dropped involuntarily. Move away from Oasis Springs? In four days?? And be touring in a week???

"This tour is starting out at 8 weeks," Asher continued, "but Hunter always tours well, so we could be extending the tour through the year towards fall or even winter. Definitely through the rest of this spring and summer. This will probably the biggest project of your career thus far, and I need you to be all in. This won't be easy; this job will demand you of your time and sometimes your sanity. But it comes with so many benefits and rewards if you see it through. Can you commit to this? Because it's Hunter's call if you do decide to go on tour with him. If he wants you out -- at any point -- then you're out, no questions asked. And that won't look good for you."

"I won't disappoint you, I promise. I've been waiting for this my whole life, I'm ready." Ari didn't feel intimidated by Asher's words. As an artist, she knew what she had to offer. But it did feel as if Ari was about to agree to step into this brand new, grand life, and that was intimidating.

"Great, that's what I like to hear. Well, this is a day of celebration! I'll let Hunter know. And I'm glad you'll have songs to sing as opening act; I was honestly worried you were going to have to open with a bunch of cover songs." Asher snorted as he stood up and adjusted his shirt, extending his hand to Ari again. "Congratulations, Ari. This is going to be big for our careers."

Birthday greetings to the living music legend of the Hindi film industry, Sri #Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma (03/09).

The iconic music director duo #LaxmikantPyarelal is synonymous with Hindi film music, particularly its popular hits. Born on September 3, 1940, Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma is the son of the renowned trumpeter, Pandit Ramprasad Sharma, also known as Babaji. Under his father's guidance, Pyarelal started learning the violin at just 8 years old, dedicating 8 to 12 hours daily to practice. He further refined his violin skills under Goan musician Anthony Gonsalves. The song "My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves" from the film Amar Akbar Anthony is a tribute to Gonsalves, featuring music by the Laxmikant–Pyarelal duo.

At 12, Pyarelal began playing the violin in various studios, including Ranjit Studios, to support his family financially. His brother, Gorakh Sharma, also contributed by playing guitar for songs composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.

The duo first gained widespread recognition with their music for the 1964 film Dosti, produced by Rajshri Productions. Despite relatively unknown lead actors, the film's memorable songs like "Chahoonga Main Tujhe Shaam Savere" and "Rahi Manwa" made it a hit. Many initially thought Laxmikant–Pyarelal was a single person. They won their first Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for Dosti, beating industry giants like Shankar–Jaikishan and Madan Mohan. Their subsequent work in films like Lootera, which featured famous Lata Mangeshkar songs, also gained fame.

By 1966, Laxmikant–Pyarelal had firmly established themselves in Bollywood. They continued to earn acclaim for their music in films like Aaye Din Bahar Ke and Pyar Kiye Jaa. In 1967, they had a series of hits, including the Golden Jubilee musical hit Farz, and other big-star films like Anita and Shagird. They won their second Filmfare Award for the film Milan.

Laxmikant–Pyarelal, along with contemporaries like Rahul Dev Burman and Kalyanji-Anandji, represented a new era in Bollywood music, overshadowing earlier composers. They were frequently chosen by major film producers and consistently delivered exceptional music.

Their significant collaboration with lyricist Anand Bakshi led to some of Bollywood’s most iconic songs, appearing in over 250 films. Anand Bakshi wrote the lyrics for all the films that earned Laxmikant–Pyarelal Filmfare Awards, except for their first. #RajeshKhanna also had a long-standing professional relationship with the duo, choosing them as the music directors for 26 of his films.

Another fruitful partnership was with singer Asha Bhonsle, who voiced numerous hits composed by Laxmikant–Pyarelal, including chart-toppers like "Dhal Gaya Din" and "Hungama Ho Gaya." The latter song was re-recorded for the 2014 film Queen and became a massive hit again. Between 1980 and 1986, Asha Bhonsle was often the lead vocalist for their compositions. Laxmikant–Pyarelal also scored music for the Telugu film Majnu in 1987, which was well-received for its musical numbers.

Well a studio has picked up The Critic for British distribution, but they’re reworking it first. Changing the end, and reshooting a lot of Ian McKellen’s part, and possibly some of Gemma Arterton and Benny’s. Honestly the guy who owns this thing sounds like an asshat; his whole thing is getting indie films and stripping them to make them more commercially mainstream. He even specifically mentioned enjoying Aftersun, but he would never want to work with something like that because you can’t sell it. At least The Critic sounded bad in the first place.

But hey, BB will actually act for the first time in two years. And we can mock the return of the even uglier 2022 haircut. Dude even wants a small movie premiere around November, so probably more Benny European gigs for the album release

It says potentially Benny might do reshoots but based on the reviews, they were never mentioning him so I assumed he had like 10 min screen time tops lol

The Critic is the one he done over like three weeks in the summer right after doing Shadow and Bone Me Daddy (FINAL!!!! season!!!).
