Write an ending without a beginning and Javelia? Possibly?

I was about to go down the lane of tragedy™️ for this one… and then I decided what better way to write my one true ending for Javelia—

“Feelings are… hard… Ollie.” Amelia smiled ruefully at the boy in blue hoodie, sitting next to her on the airplane seat, holding her hand.

He shrugged, and looked out of the window, a beautiful sunset had colored the sky in blue and pink hues, with a peeking golden in places, and clouds littering the horizon. It looked breathtaking, and if he were in this moment with anybody else— his mind wandered particularly to Aiyon, the Rafkonian loved the sunsets of Earth from the bottom of his heart— he’d have liked to share a kiss. But not here, not with Amelia. It wasn’t the time.

“Feelings are hard, Amelia” he nodded, a smile spreading onto his face.

“When did you know?”

“I’ve known for a while. Even if you’re here with me, you’re talking about Javi, thinking about Javi, or talking to Javi… your heart isn’t even here at all” he almost laughed, and then gently caressed the top of her palm, then looked into the distance, “I don’t blame you either…”

“You’ve been having feelings for someone else too, haven’t you?” Amelia asked, shaking her head, softly. She knew exactly who it was, she knew exactly how these things had happened— she and Javi had grown particularly close during such investigations, itself.

Ollie smiled, good naturedly, “like you said… feelings are hard”

Amelia closed her eyes, and rested her head on the extremely uncomfortable cushion of the airline’s economy class seat, and groaned. They’d decided to take this little “trip” to Hawaii so they could bond over, once again, renew their relationship, but it hadn’t even started, and they were on the verge of breaking apart.

“Did you ever… think of… cheating, Ollie?” The thought had crossed her mind numerous times. She remembered that time she and Javi had almost drunkenly fooled around, and stopped themselves just in time from the thought of Ollie. She wondered if Ollie had ever done something of the sort… that had been her very first doubt, what had caused her to enlist Javi’s help in her relationship, what had landed the two of them at such crossroads— with their best friend.

“I…” he frowned, “I’m not gonna lie, there were moments where it got dangerously close to that… but I never cheated on you, Amelia. I Never would.” He smiled, “even if I don’t love love you, I still love you. And I can never even think of hurting you that way”

She smiled, “I want you to know that I feel the same way, Ollie”

“I know” he smiled, “I just wish we had had thid talk before we got onto this plane… AND booked that honeymoon package.” He laughed.

“Hey” she punched his arm gently, “I’m teleporting back to Javi the second we land— and we’re getting Aiyon TO Hawaii after that. Just cuz we aren’t together anymore, doesn’t mean we can’t be happy” she winked.

“Does that mean it’s an official breakup?”

“It’s an official breakup. And it’s absolutely jot messy at all— Annnnd I’d thought it’d be so much messier….” She chuckled.

“You know… so had I— thank you for being so understanding. I thought you’d be all angry and irrational” be wriggled his eyebrows at her mischievously.

“Well, fuck you”

“Oh Aiyon will—“ his lips twisted in a sly smirk,

“TOO MUCH INFORMATION, AKANA”

…

The flight had been awkward, really, really awkward, in a lot of places, but it was still better than it would’ve been had they not broken up, and continued in their now loveless, and even more awkward relationship. They were better off as friends, and with her stealing her airline issue cashew nuts in the small flight,

The Realisation that she had been in love with Javi for almost as long as she could had hit her repeatedly on her head, every time she thought about Javi— and she wondered why she had continued with Ollie for so long. Why was there a need to hurt the both of them, in the process, why was breaking up such a stigma, if it were this easy…

“Where are you, Javi?” She’d texted Javi as soon as she had gotten off at the Hawaii Airport, and readied to teleport back to where Javi was.

Javi’s reply was prompt, “hey Amm! All good? How was the flight?”

"Where are you"

"Still at the airport"

"Good"

“Wh—“

“Explain later. I’m coming back. Stay there.”

And then she had promptly ignored all texts he had sent her, panicking and asking her why was wrong, if everything was okay, if Ollie was coming back with her or not… Ollie must have texted Aiyon, but she wasn’t sure if Aiyon would tell Javi. They hadn’t particularly revealed anything to Aiyon either, but a part of wondered maybe he would know— maybe both the boys would be able to put two and two together.

She wanted to surprise Javi. She wanted to surprise him so bad. She needed to be in his arms, when she told him that she loved him.

…

Javi had stayed at the airport, sitting on one of the cool metal benches, where he had left Ollie and Amelia to board their flight at. The bright morning sun had faded into a dim glow, bathing the entire lounge in a yellowish-orange tinge, warm, soothing, and Javi's heavy heart told him that he should head back home... the girl he'd been in love with for three years, was long gone, and in another corner of the country, by now, with someone else... and why was he still there?

After the happy couple had boarded the flight, Javi had found himself sinking into one of the chairs, at a loss of words, not knowing what to do, feeling overwhelmed. And he'd sat there that way for who knew how long...

Until Amelia's text had come in... and then he knew exactly why he was still there. The Morphin Grid had set something up. She was coming back... there was something wrong, something that had happened, and she needed him right there.

He closed his eyes, his mind gently cascading over all the memories of him and Amelia together. There was something in the air, a little October chill, a little tinge of the fall, a little bit of warmth.

Then he heard the familiar whirring noise of a teleportation beam. It was distant, but Javi could place exactly what it was for... Amelia was here. She'd teleported to somewhere people wouldn't notice, and she was here... she was right here. His heart felt like it would come up into his throat.

He stood up, as he heard footsteps approaching him. There was a whole cacophony of noises around the world between them, but he knew her footsteps. He knew every rhythm by heart. And then, there she was... Standing in the same red jacket he had bid her goodbye in, a mere few hours ago, sunglasses pushed upwards, over her head.

Their eyes met across the distance, and he saw a blush move up her cheeks, as well as blood rushing into his own. Awkwardly, nervously, he raised a hand to wave at her. Just as awkwardly, she tilted her head, as if to take all of him in her, and keep the vision of him imprinted in her heart and soul.

And then she broke into a run. Javi had barely a second to process what was happening, and to brace himself, when she jumped into his waiting arms, wrapping her own around him, and he, while trying to maintain his balance, lifted her off her feet, and started spinning her around in the air, while still hugging her. He didn't need words to understand what had just happened between them— her expression, her gestures were enough to explain it all.

When he finally put her back onto the ground, he saw tears shining in her eyes, like a kaleidoscope, glittering in the evening glow.

"I love you Javi. I love you so, so much" she said, breathless, waiting for his reply.

"But Ol—"

"He knows." her smile was so wide, it could encompass entire galaxies, "It's you and me, now. You and me forever"

"No ifs and buts?" he asked, gently, her infectious smile was starting to spread onto his face too, and she shook her head, "I'm sorry for all that drama, but no, seriously, I'm all yours, baby. I promise"

He leaned forward and gently pressed his lips against hers for the briefest moment. It was so gentle, so tentative that for a Amelia thought she had only imagined it— but then Javi was kissing her again, harder this time, passionately; her hair reached up into his hair, fingeres grazing through the soft locks, while his reached around to cup her face in his palms, frozen in time, and frozen in the moment... Nothing else mattered, nothing except the fact that they were together, together at last.

"I— I love you too" he croaked, gasping from breath from their kiss, and as they reluctantly broke apart, he placed his forehead against hers, and his fingers gently entangled with hers, "I've loved you from the beginning"

Brown eyes ping open first, disorientated panic - the usual questions. Where was she, what happened, had she hurt herself, etc. Except, the second everything flooded back to her, she focused on the man who seemed to be cradling her. "Javier." She whispers, needing a few seconds for her brain to catch up. Your daughter's good. It hurt more than she thought it would to hear, but it wasn't until his hand touched her face that she pushed herself to sit up. "No, I'm fine."

Frowning, she puffs out a breath, looking around until she spots her friend with Daniela. A sigh of relief seeing that she was safe, all thanks to him, apparently. "I didn't know you were out." Clearing her throat, she can feel the way her heart pounds in her chest. Just being this close to him after what felt like a lifetime, it was no wonder the shock was enough to floor her. "Guess it's lucky you are though... Thanks, for, um.. for grabbing her."

Sitting a hand on her ribs, she couldn't hide the way she was struggling to take a deep breath. Just as she suddenly seemed to forget how to form her own thoughts. Everything felt jumbled to the point she couldn't work out how she felt, here in this moment. Was she angry? Upset? Both? "Kind of thought... I'd never see you again, actually." Which was kind of dumb, but it had been so long, that she'd allowed herself to take that thought and make it something she actually believed.

It was odd, feeling like he had absolutely no idea what to say to her. But he might as well have been speechless. Even in the moments when he stood back while Amelia embraced the little girl, he still couldn’t steady his mind enough to actually settle on something to say. Her finally looking at him and staring as though he was a ghost didn’t help, but he didn’t blame her for it. Truth be told, he felt quite sure that he was looking at her with the exact same expression. Four years was a long time, and sure, he’d thought about what it’d be like to stand face to face with Amelia again, but all the thinking, pre-planning, and hoping could’ve never actually prepared him for seeing her– especially seeing her with a child he had to assume was hers. 

Swallowing thickly, he took the coward’s way out (again) and glanced down at his feet, not sure he could wholly withstand looking her in the eye. It meant he didn’t see her wavering initially, or catch the way she stumbled. It was only her defiant you know she is comment that had him finally blink up from his shoes in confusion. How would he possibly know that? “What? No, I don’t–” he stammered, head shaking, but before he could really comment any further, he saw her start to buckle– and then she reached for him. “Amelia– shit,” he cursed, arms instinctively hooking around her, hoping to try and soften the blow he knew was coming. 

Once she passed out, he gently eased them both onto the grass. “Hey, I’ve got her,” he started, addressing Amelia’s friend, “Why don’t you guys go down to the water and we’ll meet you there?” because Javi didn’t think the little girl needed to see her mom fucking faint if she didn’t have to. Waving them both off, he sat down, settling Amelia’s head in his lap, not only to make her comfortable, but because he knew she didn’t need to open her eyes and have the sun’s blinding light beaming straight into them. At least this way, he could use his body to block out most of it.  He wasn’t sure how long it took her to stir. In a lot of ways, it felt like a lifetime, but when she did? It was hard for Javi not to do the most, and he had to remind himself not to crowd her or overstimulate her. “Amelia?” He started, peering down at her with big, curious brown eyes, “Hey, hey– you’re alright.” Having known Amelia for years, he’d learned what to do whenever this happened. By now, it felt like second nature, even if, granted, he hadn’t done it in years. “Your daughter’s good– she’s with your friend,” he continued, fingertips lightly brushing her hair away from her face and tucking a few strands behind her ear. “You okay? Got some water if you want it.”

Javi Garcia x Reader

Fandom: Power Rangers Dino Fury

Summary: On a random day at BuzzBlast you decide to call your boyfriend, Javi, weird names as a prank and later on in the week he gets you back.

A/N: This fic is based on these videos.

It's a normal day at BuzzBlast, so you walk to your boyfriend, Javi, who was at his desk and called him weird names.

"Good morning, my buttery croissant." You said in a funny voice as you stood behind him. Javi gave you a 'really?' look, and you giggled. After a few seconds, he looked up at you and said with a straight face as he spoke in French,

"Oui Oui baguette."

You laughed at his reaction. An hour or so later, you walked over to Javi, who was making coffee.

"Hello, my little Yankee Candle." You smiled, hugging him from behind.

"Hi, sweetheart," Javi replied.

"Hi." You mumbled, kissing his cheek.

"How are you?" He asked.

"Good." You say in a baby voice.

"Am I a pinewood candle?" He joked. You laughed again, and he smiled.

You saw Javi sitting on one of the couches later on and walked over.

"How's my baby..." you asked, playing with his hair.

"You called me 'baby'." He smiled.

"Hippo. How's my baby hippo?" You added. Javi gave you an annoyed look as he moved away from you.

"No." You state to him while laughing.

You were now at Javi's house, sitting on the couch while he was in his room writing a song.

"Where's my blob fish? How's he doing?" You called out to him as you giggled silently. He poked his head out from the side of the door and looked at you as he spoke.

"You know, blobfish have feelings, too." Javi sassed, pretending to be mad at you.

It's been six days, and you've been calling Javi weird names non-stop, so he decided to get you back.

"Hi, my baby boo bear," Javi smirked, kissing your neck playfully as you made something to eat.

"No." You whined as soon as you figured out what he was doing.

"What's wrong, Love Bug?" He chuckled.

"Oh my god, Javi, stop." You whined again.

"No, I will not, my lil ketchup packet." He answered.

"Javi, I'm not even on my period." You state. Javi laughed, and so did you. You and Javi have the cutest and funniest relationship ever.

A/n: Welcome to my first Amelia Jones x Reader series!

*Amelia's POV* "How are we going to get past all of Zedd's guards?" You ask

"Including Ollie?" Izzy asks, her brows furrowing

Since Ollie's Ranger composition was altered, even attempting to recompose it back and failing, it had been a difficult time for you to process it all.

"Guys, we have a lead as to where the Cosmic Dragon Zord is!" Aiyon comes running into the lounge

"Where is it?" You turn to him

"We have a transmission from Mick, some sort of TV broadcast," Solon casts it onto a larger screen

"Good afternoon, I'm here live from the planet Akraal, with none other than Bajillia Naire, CEO of Squid Ink Inc." The announcer speaks towards the camera

"One of the greatest mining companies in the entire universe!" She boasts, "This right here, we have discovered this giant eye... A giant eye that strongly resembles a Zord... The Cosmic Fury Dragon Zord no matter."

Scrozzle shows his computer monitor to the camera: revealing a giant dragon underneath the crust of the planet.

"There you have it folks, up next, we have an interview with the monster band, The Jawsnappers," The announcer says before Solon shuts it off

"Why does this feel like it could be..." Javi sighs

"A trap..." You say

"But, if this Zord is real, we can't let them get their hands on it," Zayto states, "If I can get in undetected, I can use the morphin master staff and awaken the Zord."

"No dude, we just got you back, and you'd be squid bait if you're caught," Aiyon states

"So... Now what can we do?..." Billy asks

The silence was broken when Javi begins playing his makeshift drum set.

"Bro," Izzy growls at him

"What?" He asks

"That is really distracting," She sighs

"Wait... Distracting!" Javi smiles, "Who wants to start a metal band?"

"Javi... Are you okay?" Solon asks

"They mentioned having a band playing, so if we make our own band, Zayto can get in and out undetected," Javi explains

"But, Ollie can count," You add

"Once he counts that one of us is missing, he'd go for Zayto immediately," Izzy adds

Fern walks up to the makeshift drum set and plays a catchy rhythm.

"I get his drift though," Fern jumps in, "The news broadcast said they liked music."

Fern throws down a catchy beat.

"Problem solved, consider it my audition," She smiles

"Genius!" Javi smiles, "You're in!"

"Hold on, totally not in!" Izzy immediately jumps, "You're willing to put my girlfriend on an alien planet, basically in the line of danger?"

"Izzy, you're going to need all hands on deck for it," Fern tries talking to her, "Besides, Javi and I are the only ones who really know how to play instruments."

Izzy sighs, brows still furrowed, "Fine. But, just know that I am not entirely on board with this..."

The six of you begin to haul in equipment through the mining field, hoping to sneak in without any of the workers recognizing you as humans.

"Stop! State yourselves!" One of the two guard workers state

"We're uhh..." Javi begin, in his 'as monstrous as possible' voices, "Here to perform. Mrs. Naire had asked us personally."

"Mrs. Naire putting a show together for us?" One of the monsters asks the other, "It's so nice of her! Considering she never puts anything together for us hard workers. What is your band name?"

Javi turns to you all, contemplating a name...

"We're uhh... Meat... Chrome... Yeah! Meat Chrome!" He puts together

"Yeah," The other rangers begin to chime in

All of you began chanting your made up and name as you follow the monsters to the main stage.

Fern throws down some rhythms and all of you begin playing the music you all rehearsed.

Izzy threw in the lyrics that Javi wrote down, but add a real scratchy voice.

Over at the tent, Zayto whips his head around; making sure that the villains weren't entering... However, before he could even enter the cockpit, he gets knocked over...

Ollie walks around the quarry; confused why all of the workers weren't... Working...

"What is all of this?!" He asks

"It was so nice of Bajillia Nare to provide us with such great entertainment!" One of the workers exclaims

*Ollie's POV* You look at the band that's on the stage... You were sure that you didn't order for entertainment... There was too much to do in order to claim the Dragon zord first.

"Hold on..." You lean close to the lead singer

You yank the hood away from the

"Rangers!" You yell

Your henchmen stop celebrating and raise their weapons. The rangers morph...

"Seize them!" You order

You watch as they engage the rangers. You turn your back and begin making your way to the dragon zord...

*Izzy's POV* You hear a yelp... Fern's yelp...

"Fern!" You attempt to jump over crates to reach her

However, you hear Ollie let out a pained yelp as he falls stomach first onto the ground. As you take Fern into your arm, the both of you look over off towards the hill of the mine: a figured garbed in a cloak... They retreat.

"We have to get you to safety," You look at your girlfriend

"I'm fine Izz," She reassures you, "Just a little winded."

"Zayto, how's it going with awakening the Cosmic Dragon Zord?" Amelia speaks into the comms

The ground rumbles...

"He did it!" Amelia cheers

"Not quite," An unfamiliar voice breaks through the comms, "I'm taking this Voyager back... So leave this to me why don't you."

You and your team watches them as the new Zord engages a battle with two of the copy guards.

*Y/n's POV* "Alright bud, lets do this!" You jerk the right control module forward

The Dragon Voyager shoots a streak of fire at the copy guards.

"Come on! Is that the best you can do?!" You taunt the two

You disengage your globe from the dragon and allow it to coil around one of the two, crushing them. Re-engaging your globe onto the dragon, you begin to activate the final finisher.

"Lock on," You chuckle

You pull the trigger once the target locked onto the final copy guard.

"Dragon Break!" You announce the finisher

The voyager shoots out purple flames from its mouth, destroying the goons.

*Amelia's POV* You watch cautiously as the ranger dismounts from the dragon zord and stand before your team.

"Who are you?..." You draw your hammer up, pointing at it the cloaked figure

You watch cautiously as they reach for their hood, removing it from their head. Your expression drops as you take in their appearance. Human, but with horns... Dragon horns... parts of their skin harboring purple scales... Just... Everything there was to a dragon...

"I only wanted to find the Dragon Voyager," They explain, "Apologies for attacking you..."

"It's alright," Zayto immediately forgives them, "You were taking back what was yours, and you helped us liberate the planet."

"That doesn't explain your reasoning for helping us, or taking one of our zords!" You continue to be cautious

"My home was destroyed by what you call 'Zedd'." They explain, "I'm the last of the Dragon hybrids from the Draco System. I escaped on the Dragon Voyager but, at some point we ran into Zedd. We got separated from each other."

"How does the Morphin Grid know you're not a villain?" You continue to interrogate them

"The Morphin Grid?" They ask, "What's that?"

"The Grid that bestows the ranger energy onto people like us," You explain, "What you use to transform?"

"Oh. This?" They ask, lifting a small globe, "This... This power doesn't come from the 'Morphin Grid'. It comes from the power of the constellations."

"How does that work?" You ask

"Don't know, it just... Bonded with me," They explain, but shrugging

Your eyes narrow at them. You're not sure what to think. You could tell they were being genuine about what they were talking about, but it was that... Smug look on their face...

"Amelia, maybe we can trust her," Javi tries to ease your mind

"No," You say, "Don't try to persuade my decision... But, we'll keep you here. But, you are not to go into battle with us. We don't know your true motives yet."

"I just said-"

You walk up to them and stare at them. Unwavering.

"I know," You say, "But, your endgame... You got the Zord you wanted... The endgame is the real question..."

You saw the determination in her eye... Something about it just... Enticed you. You couldn't explain it.

"Say what you wish red," They tell you, "But deep down you know you want extra hands in your team."

"Fine..." You growl
