i actually disliked Armand in the first season I was a loustat fighter, didn’t see anything special about him, yes he’s the most beautiful man alive but where’s the passion. but now… he’s my absolute favorite, I love him and I want him to be finally so happy he laughs freely. that evil bitch. he could not prevent the trial. Yeah… bc he DIRECTED the whole thing! that’s insane, he’s insane. He finds a sexy vampire who he casts as his manic pixie dream girl and to escape loneliness and to get his dick wet, he would say ANYTHING. Armand tells lestat and Louis he loves them after a week of talking. he is not content with his life before lestat and uses him to change it, so he can keep the facade of following orders and being good, he loves to posses, he loves to control. When he gives it up it’s like a game to him. of course he wouldn’t give up his coven, he loved the theater, loved the plays, loved being in control of them. I don’t think he loved louis, but he cherished him, wanted to be with him and in the end after the theater burned down where else could he go. he was interested in him, he held resentment for lestat and I think that also helped, but ultimately the biggest motivation for vampires in the show is companionship.
