#Alya Cesaire and Nino Lahiffe are bad friends

So ... Who else wanted to bitch slap Nino and Alya or punch them during the episode Revelation ?

First, one of the most horrendous things of this episode is Alya still thinking Marinette has no proof that Lila is lying when Marinette being Ladybug should already be proof enough for Alya since Lila lied about being Ladybug's best friend.

The moment Alya learnt who Ladybug is, she should have known Marinette had very good reasons to dislike and mistrust Lila.

But instead we're got an Alya who threw her brain into the trash with Nino's as well as their emotional capability as being good friends

Adrien : Agreeing with Marinette and explaining with a serious face that Lila is a talented pathological liar and manipulator who always manage to lie her way out of trouble

Alya and Nino : Nope Adrien, you and Marinette may be our best friends but we'd rather trust Lila's words than yours, because Marinette's jealousy that Lila had feelings for you is the only reason she dislikes her and you only agrees with Marinette because she's your girlfriend. Its not like you can have your own judgement and opinion about Lila even if you worked worked with her a lot when you were both models for the Agreste brand

This is sick, how Alya and Nino are reducing Marinette to a petty jealous girlfriend whose opinions and judgement only revolve around her feelings for Adrien, and how they are reducing Adrien to a doormat boyfriend who agrees with everything his girlfriend says to please her.

This is NOT what a true best friend think of their best friend, this is not how they should even behave with said best friend

If it wasn't for Nino's Resistance, which according to the leaks will be proven very helpfull for Ladybug and Chat noir, it would pain me less to say this, but there's no way I can change my mind after this episode : ALYA AND NINO DON'T DESERVE TO BE RENA ROUGE AND CARAPACE AGAIN !

Akuma AU- The Villain Class

Here it issss! The formal introduction to my new villainous AU, where all the kids are their akuma selves!

Here’s the rundown: Paris is split into two sides, dark and light. The dark side regularly terrorizes the light, though a resistance tries to fight them. All people on the dark side are akumas, so all the kids’ families are. The deal is: you don’t get a supervillain name until you prove yourself and demonstrate your power to do harm and cause chaos, and most akumas are just content to be evil but otherwise normal people. The akuma class are like the ‘gifted’ class of Dark Paris, everybody knows these guys. I’ll also be expanding on some of their powers! Also, they wouldn’t be their ugly and fashion-backward canon akuma looks. I REALLY like the akuma redesigns for the Scarlet Lady AU by Zoe-oneesama, so imagine them in something like that! Miss Fortune (aka Marinette Dupain-Cheng): Born with the power to inflict terrible luck and pain on whoever she pleases by way of her hexes and anti-charms, Marinette is a girl who has more than a couple screws loose. She adores seeing people get hurt and actively goes out of her way to make things go wrong in every way possible. Serving as the class’ unofficial leader, Marinette often takes the helm when they go out to terrorize Paris. As dark as her heart is, Marinette adores her partners and family and would do anything to keep her friends safe.

Chat Blanc (aka Adrien Agreste): Wielding the power to destroy anything he pleases with a flick of his wrist, Adrien is not someone you want to cross for any reason. Just like 1/3 of his partners, Marinette, he lives for seeing chaos and pain, especially when he can make it as big a show as possible. He’s known to taunt and mock the people he terrorizes with cruel jokes just to add a little further humiliation. Despite being evil, he’s normally a jovial guy…unless you make the mistake of making him angry. Let’s just say it’s a bad idea to bring up his father.

Lady WiFi (aka Alya Cesaire): Wielding the power to control the world around her as if it were a livestream, Alya boasts a massive amount of power over the digital world and as such, rules the media of Paris with an iron fist! Serving as Marinette’s right hand woman, Alya makes sure her bestie’s orders are carried out without question and broadcasts their victories to spread fear in the light side of Paris. It’s useless to try and hide anything from her, Alya has surveillance in every corner of Paris and uses this to the advantage of herself and her class. She also adores her boyfriend Nino, and is quite protective of her sisters.

Bubbler (aka Nino Lahiffe): While Nino’s powers, creating bubbles that serve various functions, may not seem threatening at first glance, this villainous DJ is not one to be messed with. He’s a master of making people feel at ease before he strikes and causes as much chaos as possible, alongside his friends and girlfriend. Nino is fond of throwing parties and knows how to give his fellow villains a good time, but heaven help you if you’re a good citizen who wanders in. Like his bro Adrien, he’s a chill guy most of the time, until something sets him off and he goes full villain.

Queen Wasp (aka Chloe Bourgeois): Hosting quite possibly the biggest ego of any of the fledgling villains, Chloe wields the power to make anyone stung by her beloved wasps obey her every command, often to do degrading tasks. Almost seeing fitted to her powers, Chloe has a rather imperious attitude and expects people to do what she tells them to when she tells them to do it, and can be more than a little arrogant. However, she also has a soft spot for her best friend Sabrina and sister Zoe, and will eviscerate anyone who messes with them. If you value your freedom, don’t cross this queen.

Vanisher (aka Sabrina Raincomprix): Given the power of fading into the background like no one else can, Sabrina’s ability to become invisible and/or intangible gives her a major edge in the battles against the heroic citizens. Sabrina is a vindictive young woman who loves to use her powers to find people’s secrets and then exploit them to her own benefit. She’s also fond of pulling pranks and watching her best friend Chloe order her minions around, which she finds endlessly amusing. Always make sure to check your surroundings around this one!

Gamer (aka Max Kante): Max’s formidable powers allow him to bring video games into the real world, corrupting reality around him into whatever he would like it to be. Considering himself to be intellectually superior to the common rabble of Paris, Max enjoys using his technology to drive people to the brink of madness, knowing they don’t have the capacity to fight back. His arrogance in his intelligence can sometimes make him come off as a know-it-all to his friends, but he’s loyal anyway. His ingenuity makes him a valuable asset to the class.

Timebreaker (aka Alix Kubdel): Alix’s powers allow her to steal time from the people around her in order to accelerate her own speed, and if she gathers enough, she can reverse the flow of time. A reckless lover of chaos if ever there was one, Alix loves to speed around causing as much confusion, damage and panic as possible. She has a special love for getting under people’s skin and causing them to lash out, only to knock them flat on their backs. While mischievous, she’s a loyal friend who will take a hit for someone she cares about. Keep clear of this speed demon’s path.

Dark Cupid (aka Le Chien Kim): Kim’s power over the heart cannot be denied, though it’s not the power to spread love. Whoever gets hit by his arrows is overcome by hatred and anger. A bruiser at heart, Kim loves to stir up arguments and get fists flying whenever he can, almost as much as he loves causing drama in the relationships of others, replacing happiness with animosity. Despite this, he cares deeply for his friends and especially his girlfriend, Ondine, with whom he shares a passionate love that they love to flaunt to others. You better run fast, because he always shoots true.

Princess Fragrance (aka Rose Lavillant): Rose’s powerful and toxic perfume can do a myriad of wicked things, but it’s most prominent ability is to turn anyone who breathes it in into a dutiful servant of the princess. Though she’s not above a good poisoning every now and again. Rose doesn’t see most people as ‘people’ so much as drones meant to serve her and her friends’ purposes. After all, are some not made more powerful than others? It’s towards only her friends and her beloved Juleka, who she treats like a queen, that she shows a more loving side. All bow to the princess!

Reflekta (aka Juleka Couffaine): Juleka’s wicked transformation powers are a thing to be feared should you ever cross her in any way, she can reflect her thoughts to turn you into whatever she pleases! A malevolent trickster at heart, she loves to put people in the most inconvenient and dangerous situations she can when she transforms them. She also has a habit of transforming into something frightening to scare people, an activity often engaged in when hanging out with Mylene. Despite her pranking nature, she’s fiercely protective of those she cares about, especially her girlfriend Rose and brother Luka. Don’t trust the image you see in the mirror!

Horrificator (aka Mylene Haprele): One of the most terrifying villains in the whole menagerie, Mylene possesses the two-fold ability of not only finding your worst fear and producing it, but growing in strength and power from the fear she garners from you! She takes great delight in the mental anguish she can cause her victims and relishes nothing more than the sound of screams, and loves to give the occasional spook to her friends and her beloved boyfriend as well. Surprisingly, she also has a strong motherly side and will often comfort them when needed. Make sure you check under your bed with this one around.

Stoneheart (aka Ivan Bruel): A villain whose strength cannot be overstated, Ivan’s massive frame and physical matter made of solid stone make him functionally indestructible, more so when you add the fact that any blow dealt to him only increases his already tremendous size and strength. With a quick temper and massive brawn to back it up, Ivan enjoys nothing more than some head bashing and property destruction when he goes out to terrorize Paris. Despite this, he’s very protective and gentle with those close to him, especially his girlfriend and his little sister. Think twice before trying to rile this guy up.

Evillustrator (aka Nathaniel Kurtzberg): Nathaniel’s powerful sketchpad allows him to bring whatever dastardly things he might wish to draw to life to attack his enemies or cause general mischief. Something of an unpredictable and unhinged creative type, Nathaniel is always conjuring up new weapons, beasts and means of torment on the fly, laughing maniacally as he uses them to terrorize good citizens alongside his villainous classmates. He especially loves drawing tributes to his boyfriend Marc, who he’s devoted to above all else. An artist can be a fickle thing!

Special Additions:

Syren (aka Ondine Rivas): Ondine’s tears pack more of a wallop than most girls, given that with them she can flood the city as well as control any source of water in her range. Vindictive and manipulative, Ondine loves to trick unsuspecting citizens into sinking into the watery depths with her charming voice and wiles, seeing them thrash and struggle to stay afloat. She can also be a bit unstable, her moods fluctuating unpredictably, though she is generally kind and supportive with her friends. She has a bit of a playful streak and especially loves teasing her beloved prince, Kim, and they are never shy with affection. Steer clear of the deep water, you never know what’s lurking!

Silencer (aka Luka Couffaine): Luka’s power to silence those he doesn’t like is menacing because it doesn’t just wear off when he leaves, he can permanently steal someone’s voice! He also has the power to manipulate sound as a whole. A reserved and stoic individual, Luka prefers to let his powers do the talking for him when he’s wreaking havoc across Paris, smiling serenely as he tears apart entire blocks with sonic blasts. He serves as a steadying presence for his partners, sister and classmates, reminding them to look before they leap and serving as a source of advice. The sound of danger is approaching quickly!

Riposte (aka Kagami Tsurugi): No blade on earth can rival the power of the ones Kagami summons, which can slice through anything without a problem. Which, combined with her icredible speed and agility, makes for a powerful enemy. Cold and cruel with no concern for anyone outside of her friend circle, Kagami relishes the feeling on causing her opponent a world of pain and subjecting them to the crushing humiliation of defeat. This also makes her a bit of a sore loser. Despite her icy demeanor, Kagami has a caring side with her friends and partners, and will protect them at any cost. She’s a cut above the rest!

Reverser (aka Marc Anciel): Marc’s powers are as confusing as they are terrifying, with the ability to turn people against their own natures, to become their polar opposite once his paper airplanes touch them. Unpredictable and chaotic, Marc loves nothing more than to turn Paris upside down and leave everyone in a maddened state of despair. He’s not even above using his powers to mess with his friends, though he does care for them. His greatest joys are spending time with his boyfriend Nathaniel and teaching his young brother Kiran (aka Sandboy) the ways of villainy. You never know what you’ll get with this guy!

Sole Crusher (aka Zoe Lee): Zoe’s shoes aren’t a pair you would ask to borrow if you have any sense. Anyone she crushes under her heel adds to her size and strength as she terrorizes Paris. Having more than a bit of a superiority complex, Zoe wants everyone to know how much better than them she and her friends are, and is willing to crush them underfoot for that to happen. Perhaps that’s why she gets along so well with her sister. She also might have feelings for a certain akuma in her class, though both have yet to admit it. Step out of the way or get stepped on.

Zombizou (aka Caline Bustier): The villain class’ nefarious teacher, with the power to hypnotize and zombify people with a kiss from her magic lip balm. She adores her students and enjoys teaching them to be the most vile villains they can possibly be. She’s able to turn anything into a lesson about doing evil, and especially loves taking them into the field for some hands-on experience. She’s also fiercely protective and if anyone messes with her kids, there’ll be hell to pay!

Akumatized: Valid Or Not Part 2

This is part 2 of my previous list of every akumatized that has appeared so far. There will be four types of categories that they will be put into that say whether or not their reason for being akumatized was valid or not.

Categories:

1. Valid- The reason they were akumatized is completely understandable and could happen to anyone.

2. Semi-Valid- It is still understandable, but for things that are relatively normal. Like losing a contest, being rejected by a crush, or failing a test.

3. You Brought This On Yourself- Akumatized over something that was basically their fault to begin with and is not valid at all.

4. What The Hell- An akumaization that makes no sense at all and most likely not really much of a reason to be akumatized in the first place.

Season 4:

Luka Couffaine/Truth- Valid. Was rightfully upset because of the number of lies he was told by Marinette. And most likely also upset that even while she was dating him, Marinette was still interested in Adrien.

Kagami Tsurugi/Lies- Valid. Was rightfully upset after she caught Adrien in lies he had to tell because of his duties as Cat Noir. Wanted to get rid of all the lies of the world.

Alya Cesaire/Juleka Couffaine/Alix Kubel/Rose Lavillant/Mylene Haprele/Gang of Secrets- Valid. They were snapped at by their close friend even when they just wanted to help. They wanted to learn her secret so that they could help her.

Xavier Ramier/Mr.Pigeon 72- Valid. Was rightfully upset because Bob Roth fired him while also going back on his word that he would help make a pigeon sanctuary.

Harry Clown/Psycomedian- Valid. Wanted to prove that he could do more than just comedy while was also upset that Bob rejected his superhero idea for a movie.

Wang Fu/Furious Fu- Valid. Even when he had no memory of being the guardian, he was still confronted by Su Han and had his walking stick stolen. Su Han had also insulted the woman he loved.

Zoe Lee/Sole Crusher- Valid. Was bullied by Chloe for having an artistic side while was also given bad advice from Andre that she had to hide who she really was and change in order to be accepted by the family.

Chloe Bourgeois/Queen Banana- You Brought This On Yourself. Was rightfully taken off a movie she tried to take over to give herself an even bigger ego. Falsely believed "her" role was taken from her by Zoe.

Gabriel Agreste/The Collector- You Brought This On Yourself. Created a senti-monster of himself to akumatize. He also wanted to punish Felix for stealing one of the family rings.

Andre Bourgeois/Malediktator and Mega Leech- You Brought This On Yourself. Refused to listen to logical reasoning about how his plans would ruin the environment and wanted everyone to just go along with his plans.

Juleka Couffaine/Reflekta- Valid. Felt guilty over revealing Rose's secret, which caused everyone to treat Rose differently even though she knew Rose wanted to keep her secret so that no one would treat her that way.

Jagged Stone and Anarka Couffaine/Guitar Villain and Captain Hardrock- Semi-Valid. Both were convinced that the other was responsible for their break-up, but they also refused to communicate properly and instead just yelled at each other.

Audrey Bourgeois/Style Queen- Semi-Valid. Was humiliated on live television, but she also mostly deserves it for being a horrible person.

Andre The Ice Cream Man/Glaciator- You Brought This On Yourself. He tried to force his own beliefs about Ladybug and Cat Noir being "meant to be" while also tried to force Marinette and Cat Noir apart.

Markov/Robostus- Valid. Was purposely given a virus that caused him to become angry so that he could be akumatized.

Nino Lahiffe/Rocketear- Semi-Valid. Was upset because he thought a hero he admired was flirting with his girlfriend, but he also did not think to ask his girlfriend about it.

Alec Cataldi/Wishmaker- Valid. Had been forced to give up his own childhood dream while also felt bad for treating people horribly through his TV career.

Rolland Dupain/Simpleman- Semi-Valid. Was forced to look after four unruly kids while was also upset at the "overly complicated" world. But, he also refused to simply accept the world's advancements.

Sabine Cheng/Qilin- Valid. Was wrongfully accused of a crime by an obviously racist man and wrongfully arrested by the corrupt Raincomprix.

Dupain-Cheng family/Dearest Family- Semi-Valid. Rolland wanted to control Marinette, Tom wanted to protect Marinette no matter what, Gina wanted to give Marinette all the freedom she wanted, and Sabine wanted Marinette to make her own choices.

Bob Roth/Moolak- What The Hell. He lost one coin and was akumatized over it. I honestly don't have much to say about this one.

Adrien Agreste/Ephemeral- Valid. Was taken advantage of by his father when he akumatized him while he was vulnerable from seeing his mother's body.

Chloe Bourgeois/Penalteam- You Brought This On Yourself. Did not want to play soccer simply because she did not want to get her hands dirty.

Froggy/Risk- Semi-Valid. Wanted to prove to his overprotective parents that he could ride his bike without training wheels or a helmet, but was still a little kid that needed to wear a helmet.

Season 5:

Tomoe Tsurugi/Ikari Dozen- You Brought This On Yourself. Allowed herself to be akumatized in order to test the Alliance Rings.

Denis Damocles/Darker Owl- You Brought This On Yourself. Wanted to be the only superhero Paris needed, but was still just an old man with no actual hero skills.

Veronique/Manipula- Valid. Had her best exhibit and her museum shut down because the mayor bent to the will of his brat of a daughter simply because she did not want the heroes she hated to be honored.

Natalie Sancoeur/Safari- Valid. Wanted to take the miraculous for herself to end Gabriel's obsession and keep Adrien safe from his father.

Jalil Kubel/Pharaoh- Semi-Valid. Missed his sister and wanted her to come home, refusing to believe she would leave their family willingly. But, refused to listen to his father telling him the truth and chose to listen to online hero-haters.

Andre The Ice Cream Man/Glaciator- You Brought This On Yourself. Still wanted to force Ladybug and Cat Noir together while also still wanting Cat Noir and Marinette apart.

Kouki/Kiku- Semi-Valid. Was embarrassed by a picture posted of his defeat at Nora's hands, but also was a little sexist over being defeated by a girl.

Chloe Bourgeois- You Brought This On Yourself. Willingly got akumatized just because she was prevented from throwing a tantrum by her sister.

Kagami Tsurugi/Ryukomori- Valid. Was lied to by Lila while also being forced by her mother's teachings that she needed to be nothing but perfect.

Bob Roth/Gold Record- You Brought This On Yourself. Was rightfully called out over his manipulation of Kitty Section with Luka refusing to bend to his will.

Le Chien Kim/Dark Humor- Semi-Valid. Was rightfully called out for cruel pranks, but he honestly believed that his pranks were harmless.

A.D.A/Bugfighter- Valid. Had her technology manipulated in order to make her believe she had lost her pilot.

Kagami Tsurugi/Riposte Prime- Semi-Valid. Was manipulated by Lila into wanting to protect Adrien from Marinette, but also completely forgot everything good she had seen about Marinette with her own eyes.

Sabrina Raincomprix/Vanisher- Semi-Valid. Was so focused on keeping her toxic "friendship" with Chloe that she went through with a plan she and Lila made to frame Marinette.

Tomoe Tsurugi/Matagi Gozen- Semi-Valid. Wanted to rescue her daughter after she was kidnapped by Felix, but also wanted complete control over her daughter.

Lila Rossi/Hoaxer- You Brought This On Yourself. Wanted revenge against Marinette while also wanted to get back at Gabriel for replacing her with Kagami as an Alliance avatar.

Juleka Couffaine/Reflekta- Valid. Was going to be forced to repeat the school year because of Lila and Chloe's fake career forms.

Caline Bustier/Miss. Sans-Culotte- Valid. Wanted to end the corruption that was centered around Chloe and her father.

Chloe Bourgeois/Queen Mayor- You Brought This On Yourself. Willingly akumatized so that she could be the only one in Paris with power and could act without consequences.

Gabriel Agreste/Nightormentor- You Bought This On Yourself. Akumatized himself to give the world nightmares for his and Tomoe's Alliance plan.

Bertrand King/King of Plastic- You Brought This On Yourself. Rightfully called out for the pollution his products caused, but wanted to remain rich because of his plastic products.

Drawing Bad AU

This was somehow inspired by the Scarlet Beetle and Ikati Black AU by @artzychic27, specifically with the idea of Nathaniel being the antagonist and Marc being his eventual sidekick. Nathaniel Kurtzberg is a mild-mannered artist making his way through the first year of high school at DuPont. His life takes a turn for the worst when he is diagnosed with lung cancer, right after being rejected by his longtime crush, Marinette Dupain-Cheng. He begins to look for a way to help pay for treatment. He gets invited to watch a raid from Kim and Ivan, his friends who work for the safety patrol at school. They’ve been investigating a candy smuggling unit, which apparently makes a lot of money. While watching them catch some kids selling unauthorized candy to classmates, he recognizes the one who gets away. It’s Marc, a writer from his old elementary school who hung out with Nathaniel before he moved. He follows Marc and gives him an ultimatum. Become his partner in selling candy, and he wouldn’t rat him out to the safety patrol. Marc reluctantly agrees, and the partnership forms. Marc knows how to sell the stuff, and Nathaniel knows how to improve the candy’s quality. They hangout in an abandoned RV, and create “Akuma”. It’s a butterfly shaped hard candy with enough sugar to get the customer addicted to the product. They use the codenames of “Monarch” and “Paon” in order to avoid getting caught. As their candy becomes spread throughout the school, they gain a reputation. This earns them the attention of Nino Lahiffe, the shifty captain of the debate club, who promises to keep them out of trouble as long as he gets a good cut of the money. There’s also Max Kante, a seemingly harmless and kind nerd, hiding a shrewd and calculating mind. He helps to ship out their candy to Parisians. They’ve also got enemies to worry about. Not only Kim, Ivan, and the other kids on the safety patrol, but also Alya Cesaire, a reporter for the school newspaper, hot on their trail and looking to uncover their identities. These candy dealing boyfriends have a lot of trouble to deal with.

It’ll be a miracle if they make it to sophomore year without getting caught and expelled. Nathaniel knows his reputation will be torched if people find out, but that’s just the price he’d be willing to get treatment. Even if it means... breaking bad.

Ladybug looked at him strangely for a few moments. “I have a wedding to attend as well,” she said carefully. “Wouldn't it be weird if we were going to the same wedding? We could both be guests and not even know it!” Even as he said it he knew it was impossible.

“I doubt it. Mine is a small wedding, they're all close friends I have known for years.”

“Mine too. But it would still be funny.” Or ironically cruel, if the suspicions he once held about Ladybug's identity hadn't been proven wrong during Kwamibuster all those years ago. He turned to face her. “I might actually be grateful for an akuma. I'd rather face ten of them than watch the girl I love marry someone else,” Adrien said, an edge of bitterness infecting his tone.

18. Roommates

- I can't believe that even after ten years I am forced to do this!

Although it was not possible to tell from Alya's appearance that she was unhappy with something. The spectacular brown-haired woman stood on the balcony of the hotel room and listened with interest to what was happening behind the walls of their neighbors. Namely, Marinette Dupen-Cheng and Adrian Agrest, who ended up in the same number as a result of an incredible coincidence of circumstances, to which the resourceful Alya Cesaire added a lot of effort.

Her own roommate, Nino Lahiffe, only smiled as he watched his girlfriend's efforts.

- Just admit it - you like to do it.

Alya quickly looked around, thought for a moment, and then made an innocent expression on her face.

- What exactly?

- Arrange Marinette's personal life, - sighed Nino, adjusting his glasses.

Although in his opinion, everything could have settled down after school, if Marinette herself had not made one bad decision. Although at the time it seemed more than right to her, and the young Ladybug could be completely understood.

Yes, Nino knew her secret, but he and Alya remained the closest associates of the heroine. Of course, except for Cat Noir, with whom everything was not so easy.

Wayzz was not so confident, but nodded, agreeing with her friend. Or the vixen threatened him with something that no kwami, even with invincible power, could not agree to.

- And who guards Paris? - said Nino. – Marinette and Adrien are here too.

- We agreed with Caprikid and Rooster Bold, - Trixx reported. - Don't worry, they have very strong talismans, they can handle any villain.

Nino also had no doubt that they would manage, but who would neutralize the consequences of the battle? In the absence of Ladybug, Rena could at least cover them with an illusion.

It seems that very unexpected news from home will soon await them.

The bathroom door creaked, so Nino quickly closed the suitcase, muttering to the kwami:

- So that we don't hear you!

- How are your successes there? - Alya asked.

It was difficult to quickly come up with a plausible explanation for why he didn't do anything. I had to say the first thing that came to mind.

Lila's mother decided to take her daughter away from the toxic school she been hearing about from mainly Tom & Sabine Patissiere Bakery she always goes to. She wanted her daughter to stop with her lies for once too so they move to London for her daughter to attend a new school. Where Lila meet Felix Graham de Vanily they got on a good start. Lila was shock that Felix is Adrien's cousin now thinking that she should change her attitude to Felix to gain and stay on his good side.

But what Lila didn't know that Marinette, Nino, and Chloe moved to a different new school in New Jersey so she didn't even think about it until Felix mention about Chloe's name and Marinette. Lila did feel bad for bullying Marinette she still wonder whatever happen back in her old school back in Paris.

News spread wild fire on international and social media about Lila Rossi is now dating Felix Graham de Vanily, Marinette Dupain-Cheng is dating Damian Wayne, Chloe Bourgeois is dating Jon Kent, and lastly Nino Lahiffe is dating Cassandra Cain. It appears that Sabine was a former assassin from League of Assassin with her friend Talia Al Ghul yet they stand as rivals.

As for Alya she seems to be on clutched with Lila Rossi's tales but never check her sources properly but what she doesn't know that she had a restraining order from Marinette, Lila, and Nino.

As for Adrien well he is no longer a sunshine after giving the advice to Marinette about 'high road'. He also got a restraining order from Marinette and Chloe.

Yet Marinette and Chloe still visits Paris as their alter ego to defeat Hawkmoth and Mayura with a help by Nino as well. Marinette told Nadja that Rena Rogue is no longer to be trusted with miraculos if she doesn't fact-check her sources. She does not tolerate people who are tabloids.

Marinette is the guardian of the Miraculous which means that she took the Black Cat miraculous from Chat Noir last night before leaving for her new school that her parents and Chloe's dad set up for her, Chloe, and Nino to leave Paris. She gave the Black Cat Miraculous to Damien...

But the rest is up to you!

Rent-a-Bug

The photoshoot team arranged the props around him while he sat on top of the steps. He waited for the right moment to ask them if they could finish early but between the makeup brushes on his face, the flashes of the camera, some ridiculous change of clothes featuring him wearing a button down shirt unfastened halfway, a few smiles, embarrassed poses and serious looks, he didn’t had the chance. His phone’s screen flashed. 2:43 pm. There were ten missed calls from his friends and another thirty messages. Nino would choke him, Alya would bring him back to life just to kill him again. Either way, he’s dead if he didn’t show up in ten minutes. Luckily, their location was near to the Lahiffe-Cesaire residence.

He thanked all the team then bid goodbye, leaving in haste. Some waved, others reminded him to be careful. A smile stretched across his face as he waved back. They were like his caring, extended family.

A message from Gorilla informed him he got stuck in the middle of traffic. He told him not to worry, he was planning on walking anyway.

His eyes trailed upward, into the sky. Its shade of blue reminded him with his lady’s eyes. Goodness. He missed those eyes. He missed the way it sparkled with mischief when she thought of another outlandish plan. The way it reflect smugness when her intuition was right. But most importantly, he missed the way it stayed on him whenever they talk and flirt and bicker.

‘Get yourself together!’ The voice in his head chided. Every time he was alone, his thoughts strayed to everything he lost. A bad habit he couldn’t seem to change.

The warm air blew against his skin. Sunlight glinted on the horizon. It was one of those rare moments where he could cherish the little things like a kind stranger’s smile or the stray ladybug flitting between his fingers before flying away. No reporters followed him. They gave up asking opinions about his father’s sudden retirement years ago. Fans stopped him every now and then for a picture or autograph. Not that he minded. If his image or signature could make them happy, he’d be delighted to give it. Compared to other times he walked, that day was more peaceful. Meaning, he could come to the party on time. He could see the building already.

Nino and Alya’s house was flooded with people. Most of them belong to the press, fashion industry and famous artists. They crowded the threshold so he slipped through the back door. Luckily, there was no one there to see him act like an alley cat.

A rushing figure collided against him as he rounded the corner. All breath got knocked out of his lungs. Wincing, he reached out to steady the person but the impact sent them both sprawling on the floor in a daze. When the shock passed, he looked down in concern only to be surprised. Marinette gripped the slightly dented paper hats like her life depended on it. She had her eyes shut tight while his arms secured around her waist and her head cushioned on his chest. Bare chest. Embarrassment warmed his cheeks. Leaving without changing first turned out to be an awful idea.

Clearing his throat, he asked. “Marinette, are you okay?”

His voice shocked her more than the crash did. Her eyes snapped opened and she gawked at him. Blood rushed from her neck to her face. For a second, he was afraid he’d somehow broke her.

“Adrien! I-I’m fine! Your chest is great- I mean, your arms-  I mean, I’m great!” She laughed awkwardly, crawling out of his reach like he was on fire. “No worries needed! I am fine!”

“Are you sure?” He asked, noticing the faint dark circles under her eyes and exhaustion on her posture.

“Yeah! Totally.” She stifled a yawn, peering back at him. “What are you doing here?”

“I was sneaking past the people outside.” He offered her a hand. “What are you doing here?”

“Wait, you came here in t-that?” Marinette squeaked, gaping at his outfit. “You know, what? Don’t answer. Why the heck did I just ask that?” Her voice rose an octave higher while her face turned a darker shade of red. She rose the party hats to her face, hiding behind it. “I’m, uh, helping with the birthday designs and catering and distributing of f-frops.”

“You mean, props?” His lips curled upward in amusement. She’s too cute for her own good.

“Exactly!”

“Is that why you’re running around carrying the hats?” He chuckled. Typical Marinette. “We’re lucky it scattered when we bumped into each other.”

“Y-yeah. Goodness, that’d be awful.” Even when she spoke, he could tell she was distracted. She reached her ear then released a sigh of relief. The black earrings she always wore shone in the otherwise dark room.

“Anyway, what kept you busy? I haven’t seen you in months!” It worried him sick.

“Months?” Checking her phone, she let out a heavy breath. “I guess, it’s been that long. I was, uh… I- um,  you’re the first person I’m telling this. So don’t- don’t tell anyone, okay? I don’t want them to worry.” She bit her lip, avoiding his gaze. “I was searching for something. Or someone. For a long time now.”

His eyes widened. Her words hit too close to home, he almost suspected her of mocking him but the thought was too ridiculous. Kindhearted Marinette would never do that to anyone, especially to her friends. She’d seen him breakdown about a hundred times and not once had she made fun him. It must be pure coincidence.

A sudden jolt of ease spread through his chest. The weight he didn’t know he carried lightened from the revelation. He wasn’t the only one experiencing the intense need to find someone they lost. Somehow, it was comforting to know.

“I understand. Don’t worry, your secret is safe with me.” Then after a minute of consideration, he added. “And I know the feeling… searching for someone, I mean.”

“Adrien…” Hesitation and sadness filled her eyes though he didn’t understand why. A minute passed. Two. Three. The knots in his stomach tightened with every passing moment. “Are you looking for your father?”

Oh. That’s why. She thought he was looking for Gabriel.

While the topic about his family still stung, it didn’t hurt that much when he was talking to her. That’s why he could answer her without any hint of bitterness.

Shaking his head, he held her gaze.

“I already know what happened to him and although I know he deserved far worse punishment for terrorizing Paris for his selfish ambitions.” Like resurrecting his mother or changing the past. “I’m grateful they decided to make him pay for it privately. I guess, I still care about him.” It was true. “But I meant, someone else. Someone… who meant a lot to me.”

He wanted her to be relieved like he was when she told him. Though it seemed wrong to be comforted by other’s misery, at that moment, with her standing in front of him, heartbroken and unsure, it somehow felt right. Just two unfortunate souls experiencing the same problem. Reveling in the knowledge that they’re not alone.

“He meant a lot to me too.” There was a hitched on her words but she cleared her throat and flashed him a small smile. “Thank you. I know, it’s not easy admitting any of that.”

“No, thank you for telling me.”

There was a small, irrational part of him that wanted to prolong the conversation. To ask her how she was and make her laugh. Maybe, offer her a ride or ask if they can find their missing pieces some time. It’s just… of all his friends, he missed her the most. Her mere presence. Her voice. The warmth she emitted whenever she was around. He didn’t know whether she had that kind of effect on all people or just him but there’s something about her that made him feel at ease and, daresay, loved. It made the butterflies, the good kind, flutter in his stomach. She was a constant in his ever-changing world and it jarred him when she’d gone silent. Fear clawed at his mind everyday, reminding him of what he lost. He already lost a lot, he couldn’t afford to loose her too.

If he didn’t know any better, he’d say he was in love with her. But he did, and he knew his heart already belonged to someone else. Someone he hadn’t seen for ages. Besides, he was sure she also loved the boy she’s searching for.

Someone opened the door, making them both jump in surprise. The woman eyed them suspiciously like they’re caught guilty of something.

“I need to go or else, Alya will kill me.” She moved past him, light glinting against her ears for the second time that day.

“Yeah, I don’t want to hold you back.” He replied, staring at her earrings with furrowed brows. Now that he thought about it, the earrings almost looked like the ones Ladybug had.

Marinette paused on the door.

“And Adrien?” He could hear the slight tremor on her voice. “I’m really sorry.”

She walked away and he was left staring at her retreating back. Their conversation ended the same way it did in the last eight years, with her apology. He never figured out the reason, only that she found him after the final battle detransformed, crying his eyes out. She held him the same way he did to Ladybug and apologized for everything, no matter how much he told her that his father’s decision wasn’t anyone’s fault.

‘That would explain it. She’s Ladybug and she’s looking for her partner.’ A traitorous thought entered his mind and it took almost all of his will to banish it. He thought about it before. Desperately wished for it to be true. However he’d seen Ladybug and Marinette together during one of their fights.

He buttoned his shirt to avoid any awkward situation and walked out of the room, accidentally knocking someone aside. Adrien caught them before they crashed to the floor. What was wrong with him today? “I’m so sorry! Are you okay?”

The person could barely stand on their feet. His gaze traveled on the item they dropped on the floor. A wig resembling Ladybug’s hair. They- the girl groaned then mumbled an apology. Judging from her costume, she must be the hero Nino and Alya rented from the hero agency. Her face was flushed, brown hair clung to her damp forehead. “I’ll be fine. I have to. I need to perform today.”

He placed a hand over her brow then winced. She had an awful fever. “No, you’re sick.”

Her gaze focused on him and she squinted. “Am I hallucinating or did the Adrien Agreste just caught me and touched my forehead?”

He laughed awkwardly. “I believe, it’s the latter.”

“Oh my goodness. I’m sorry!” She let out a cross between a horrified gasp before coughing.

“It’s fine. Really.” Patting her back, he noted the paleness of her face and the sweat beading on her brows. “More importantly, you need to rest.”

She shook her head, grimacing. “No, I can do it. They rented a Ladybug last month and we already have our schedules full. Everyone but me had personal matters to attend to. I… I can’t back out now.”

“But you have to. Otherwise your sickness will just get worse. I know how important health is in your job.” His hand rested on her shoulder and he flashed her a reassuring smile. “Trust me. They’ll understand. What’s more important is that you have to take care of yourself.”

A flicker of doubt passed on her face. “What about Ladybug? The party will start in a few minutes. They couldn’t possibly find any replacement in such a short notice.”

“Don’t worry. We’ll find a way.”

The girl stared at him then nodded. A slow, reluctant movement. “I guess, you’re right. I still need to drink medicine anyway.”

“Get well soon, Ladybug.”

“Thank you, Monsieur Adrien.” She smiled and he was sure she was one of the heroes he rented to talk while nursing a heartbreak.

He called Nino the moment her concerned friend took her away.

“Dude, where are you?”

“I’m already here. At your house.” He ran a hand through his hair, walking to where he hoped was the right room for the party.

“What? Really?” There was chattering on the other side of the line. “Marinette said, you bumped into each other earlier. You should’ve followed her over here.”

“I was about to but then I met your Ladybug. She’s sick, Nino. Has high fever and cough so I convinced her to go home and rest.”

The news was met with silence. There were muffled conversation in the background and he guessed they were discussing the unexpected problem. Their voices became worried but he couldn’t make out any of their sentences except for some words and phrases like ‘Ladybug’ and ‘-disappoint the kids’.

“I guess, it couldn’t be helped. Thanks for letting us know, dude.” His best friend said. “We don’t wanna disappoint the kids by telling them the hero couldn’t come. We’ll see what we can do. Anyway, you need to come up here. It’s weird calling you when we’re in the same room. I can see you in all your model glory from my position.”

He ended the call then walked to them. The two women moved away, whispering. Marinette furrowed her brows and she shook her head vigorously at something Alya had said. It went on for minutes until the former threw her hands in the air in resignation while the latter squealed and hugged her. He didn’t know whether they agreed on something or not because Marinette stormed off on the other side of the room. Although there weren’t any sign of anger in her body language, only nervousness and determination.

“Don’t worry, Sunshine Boy. She’ll be back soon.” Alya slid in the chair beside Nino with mischief. “For the meantime, can you entertain the audience for a while?”

Adrien gaped at her. “What? How am I supposed to do that? I can’t possibly strike a pose for them?”

Nino turned to his wife slowly so he wouldn’t wake the sleeping baby in his arms. “He’s an awkward model, not a host.”

She laughed, “Relax. I was just messing with you.”

His best friend gave him an apologetic smile as she walked on the stage and prattled about the party. “Sorry ‘bout that. She always love to tease us.”

“I know, I just wished you’d drop that silly nickname though.” His eye twitched.

“Not in a million years, dude.”

“I hate you.”

“We love you too, bro.” Nino chuckled.

All You Had to Do Was Stay (Post Reveal/ Pre Relationship) (1/4)

Summary:

Three years ago, Marinette revealed her identity to him. Three years ago, he promised to wait in a hotel room for her. Three years ago, she opened the door to find it empty.

Now she's expected to play nice with him, since she's the maid of honor and he's unfortunately the best man. But old habits die hard, and old feelings die harder.

"This is a wedding, not a death march, Marinette."

Things that need to be done before Alya Cesaire could marry Nino Lahiffe:

1. Designs combining both Martinique culture and Réunion style needed to be made for the whole wedding party. Everyone should get to have a say in what they wear.

2. The video of Alya dancing overenthusiastically to the cupid shuffle needed to be removed from Lila Rossi’s Instagram, lest Nino’s nana see and wonder what type of woman he’s marrying.

3. The cake tasting needed to be had. Marinette needed to make sure that her parents didn’t go overboard and keep the couple for the whole night. Even if Alya was practically their daughter. Even if they begged. Even if papa cried.

4. A totally unique and unreplicable combination Bachelor and Bachelorette party needed to be planned.

And, lastly… The most difficult of all:

5. Marinette somehow needed to be able to stand in a room with Nino’s best man, Adrien, and hold a conversation for more than five minutes. Even if, three years ago, he found out her identity, left Paris, and broke her heart.

“Easy,” Marinette groaned, sinking further into her barstool as she closed her notes app, her head touching the counter of the bar. She’d already crossed off the top two of the list items, and yet…

“I’m not asking for a miracle,” Alya began, obviously knowing what she was thinking about. She was the one to ask Marinette out that night, wanting to find out her progress… and also to check in on her wellbeing. It was obvious that she felt bad, she knew how things went between the two and how Marinette originally thought they would go. But she couldn’t just ask Nino not to have Adrien be his best man. “Five minutes, that’s all I’m asking. Just five minutes in a room together. You quickly plan the bachelorette party, since we know that you’re far too organized not to, give him the run down, and then leave. Back to your life, back to doing whatever it is you do now.”

“Sit at home. Alone,” Marinette supplied.

Alya grimaced. “It’s for the best that Luka got married, Marinette. You couldn’t keep playing that game. All that kiss and tell was gonna kill you some day.”

Marinette groaned, somehow sinking further into the wood of the bar. Anymore and she’d become part of the grain.

“Plus, Juleka’s in a better mood with you now,” Alya said, obviously looking at the other young woman as she undoubtedly danced on the floor with Rose. Marinette’s habit of coming back to Paris and making out with her brother had obviously put a strain on their relationship, even if Luka insisted that things weren’t committal and he was totally fine with only seeing her twice a year. “Who knows, maybe Nino will have a handsome cousin and you’ll fall madly in love.”

Marinette raised the side of her head to cast Alya a glare from one eye.

Alya didn’t falter. “So, he’s back. After spending three years in New York, Milan, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. I get it, it’s life changing, it’s world ending, it’s all the things you don’t want and more—especially after how things ended,” Marinette groaned, Alya carried on, “but, you know who else is back? Max, Rose, unfortunately Lila, and Kim. Good old Kim. All your friends, everyone who you’ve known for years, everyone who has missed you as you flitted in and out of Paris! Sure, you found out that Adrien was Chat Noir, went to his hotel room, thought you were finally going to get together, and then opened the door to find it empty—but you know, life happens! And when you least expect it, it keeps going on and on and on and on!”

Marinette turned her face back to the wood.

“I really did try to get Nino to change his mind,” Alya said flatly. “I begged.” Marinette doubted it, but…

“Why couldn’t he just stay in New York?” Marinette mumbled.

“Because Nino is his best friend.”

“Why couldn’t Nino go to New York,” Marinette said, “or Adrien done a zoom call for the wedding.”

Alya snorted. “Okay, that’s it,” she said, grabbing Marinette’s arm. “Adrien’s landing today, nothing’s going to stop it, you just have to clear your head and power on.” She leaned into Marinette’s view as her friend finally turned her head, insistently stating, “you were Ladybug for god’s sake. Even if no one else knows it, you do. I do. You gotta suit up, lovebug, and face the day, lest another evil butterfly come flying by.” Never mind the fact that there hadn’t been an Akuma in years.

Not since Gabriel Agreste was arrested.

Marinette rolled her eyes, finally lifting herself off the bar.

“There’s my girl,” Alya said. “Now, finish your dirty shirley, order another drink, and come do karaoke with me. I’m a hundred percent certain that I saw Say You’ll Be There on the song list, and you know that I’ve been singing Spice Girls since I was in diapers.”

Marinette stumbled into her apartment at one am. Not drunk, she didn’t get drunk, not out in public at bars. In friends’ apartments, maybe. She was still a bit tipsy which was, in its own way, dangerous. But she could fight through it, maybe.

Kicking off her heels, she looked at it, the studio she called home and had once been so proud of a few years back, the same studio she’d lived in ever since she was a fashion design student. The same one in which she’d left Chat knocking on her balcony door when she struggled to stay asleep, and eventually relented to let him in time and time again before he knew who she was.

“Someday, I’m going to move,” she grumbled, beginning to pull the bobby pins from her hair. She wouldn’t, of course, not for a long time. Rent-controlled apartments were rare, and while she pretended that the history that practically stained her hardwood floors was something she would rather forget, she was a nostalgic young woman. She’d be there for at least another five years, or until she was finally well and truly over Chat.

Five years would probably come first.

She passed by the photos washi taped to her walls, the ones where fourteen-year-old kids gave toothy smiles and eighteen-year-old young women gave winks while leaning into blond young men. If she was so concerned about history, she’d have to get rid of those first.

She sighed, finally removing the last bobby pin from her hair and letting it fall down her back, placing the black pin in one of the many bowls around her apartment placed for that very reason. Adrien would be in Paris by then, she was sure. He was probably sound asleep in the Agreste mansion.

“Welcome home, kitty,” she said sarcastically, beginning to climb the steps to her lofted bedroom, a space that was not unlike her childhood room.

This wasn’t how she expected things to be.

Of course, this wasn’t how anyone expected things to be. If you asked anyone, they told you how the story ended. Ladybug and Chat Noir finally got together, they were hiding in Paris somewhere, they were in love. They probably had kids, a dog, a hamster—normal jobs and normal lives. That was what the people of Paris wanted. She thought that that was the ending they would get.

She thought that when she went to the hotel room that night, he would be there. She thought that he was happy to know who she was. She thought that he loved her.

She thought wrong.

Marinette always thought wrong.

She thought she could get over him. She thought making out with Luka was a solution, one that she could keep trying every time she went to Paris. She thought that she would miss Adrien more than Chat, the promise of love more than sitting in her bed and watching subtitled anime while he mouthed the English translations.

By now, she thought she’d be waking up to someone else. That maybe she’d have a steady life, someone to wrap their arms around her in the morning.

Adulthood hits hard.

“Adrien Agreste,” she said, flopping back in her bed and pulling open her phone. She wasn’t above social media stalking.

There he was. Gold hair, tanned skin, too many muscles to know what to do with. Landed in Paris four hours ago, his Instagram posted a picture of him with his arm around Nino. His eyes were still kind, his smile still flawless. Her heart still pounded.

“Jerk,” she muttered, letting her phone fall down beside her. “I didn’t need you anyway,” except for all those times she did. Like when she put the earrings back in the box and said goodbye to one of her closest friends. She could have used him then.

She could have used him a lot of times.

Her eyes stayed glued to the ceiling, her chest rising and falling with every breath. There was no sound, no doting kwami, no laughter from her parents, and no Alya playing with her hair. Just her.

“Now I’m going to see you and fall in love with you all over again,” she said, wishing she could steel herself against the inevitable.

Alya looked at her, unimpressed. “And the best you could do was a janitor’s closet? Aren’t there like, a dozen empty rooms in this place? That don’t require us to be confined into a space smaller than a literal clown car?”

Marinette smiled sheepishly, shoving down the poofy exterior of her dress so that it wasn’t pushing Alya against the wall as much. “I mean probably. This just happened to be the first thing I could think of.”

“’Bride traps friend in broom closet on day of wedding’ sounds like the beginning of a bad male fantasy,” Alya deadpanned. “What’s up?”

Marinette took a deep breath and lifted her hands, easing the Ladybug Miraculous’ off her ears. “Alya Cesaire, I am temporarily giving you the Miraculous of the Ladybug, which will-”

“Are you seriously doing the whole spiel right now?”

Marinette opened her mouth to protest until she saw the look of amusement on Alya’s face. She scoffed and pushed the earrings into her hand. “Okay, then I won’t be official with it. Look, obviously Paris still needs Ladybug, and Ladybug and Chat Noir are going on their honeymoon. So I just…needed someone I trusted to do this.”

Alya clasped the earrings tightly in her hand and gave Marinette a serious look, setting a hand on her shoulder and squeezing it. “Hey. I’m totally joking around with you. Of course I’ll protect Paris while you’re gone.”

She put the earrings in, giving Tikki a warm smile as the Kwami appeared, looking very disgruntled by their location. “Why are we in a closet?” she squeaked.

Alya threw her hands up as best she could without smacking Marinette in the face. “That’s what I’m saying!”

“I changed my mind, I’m giving the Miraculous to Alix.”

“Absolutely the fuck not.”

It took Adrien nearly the entire wedding after party to get ahold of Nino, pulling him away from the conversation he was having with Max about a new video game and onto the dance floor. He settled one hand on Nino’s shoulder, the other on his hip, and grinned at him. “You’re a hard man to get alone, Lahiffe.”

Nino snorted, mirroring Adrien’s position, and turned them in a circle. “Really? Dancing? Little late for the homo, bro.”

Adrien rolled his eyes. “Please. I’d have snapped you up before Alya had back in school if I were ever gonna do that.”

“Ouch.”

They completed another turn and Nino tilted his head, eyebrow lifting behind his glasses. “What’s up?”

Adrien swallowed. “I needed to ask you something important. While Marinette and I are gone on our honeymoon.”

“Anything dude.”

Adrien reached up and grabbed Nino’s hands, twirling him gracefully on the floor. When he pulled him back, Nino held up a hand between them, staring at the now black ring that had been pushed into his hand. He lifted his head, eyes wide behind his glasses. “Dude.”

Adrien gave him a crooked smile. “Be Chat Noir? Just for the week?”

“Dude. It’d be an honor. Are you sure I-?”

Adrien squeezed his hand. “Can’t think of anyone better.”

Nino grinned and slid the ring on his finger, holding open his jacket so that Plagg could fly into the inner pocket before anyone saw him. “Did you really need to pull me onto the dance floor for that?”

“What else was I gonna do, pull you into a janitor’s closet?”

“That’d be ridiculous.”

“Oh and hey, I’ll loan you my stash of Camembert so you don’t have to buy your own.”

“…I’m sorry, your stash of what?”

Scarabella grinned at Not-Chat-Noir as he landed next to her and sat down on the top of the Eiffel Tower, bumping his knee with hers. “What am I calling you?”

Not-Chat-Noir snorted. “You know, great question. I think since it’s just the two of us, Nino is fine. Alya,” he teased accusingly.

Alya shoved him with a grin, rolling her eyes. “Yeah yeah. Take it Adrien asked you?”

Nino grinned and crossed his legs under him. “Pulled me onto the dance floor. During a slow song.”

“Oh ho, should Marinette and I be nervous?”

“Ah yes totally, Adrien and I are going to run away together as soon as they get back.”

Alya giggled and shook her head. “Well at least he didn’t pull you into a closet.”

“Oh my god.”

“So what’s the most fun part so far of being Chat Noir?”

Nino hummed, pulling out the baton and twirling it on his fingers. “Honestly just vaulting across the city. I can’t do anything like that as Carapace. You?”

“Oh definitely all the yo-yo tricks I can suddenly magically do. Though I did get tangled up in the string for a while.”

Nino grinned. “Oh I’d’ve paid to see that.”

“Like you haven’t made any flubs yet as Chat Noir.”

“…I may have tripped on the tail about 17 times.”

“I knew it.”

Okay, so I have to admit that I omitted a lot of characters I don't have strong opinions on. Most of them were one-off akumas, so don't get your panties in a twist, your faves are probably still on here (and ranked lower than you think).

As a preface again, these are just my personal opinions. They can't hurt you. You can still like characters more or less than me. And I don't care how you feel about them. This list is for me. And the person that asked for it. So shut up. Go make your own rank list if you’re so butthurt. 

We're going in reverse order this time, starting from the bottom:

84. Gabriel Agreste- I mean, is anyone surprised? I am not private about how I think Gabriel should go to jail. Or fall off a cliff. Or be erased from existence. Rip to those that like him, but I’m different.

83. Thomas Astruc- Honestly, he’s down here on principle. Self-inserts are generally a no-no, and I just laugh every time I see him on screen because he really put himself in this show and said boohoo no one appreciates me XD

82. Bob Roth- I feel like this one should also be obvious. He’s just a dick. Terrible human. I give him 0 stars.

81. Tomoe Tsurugi- We all collectively hate her, right? It’s not just me?

80. Su Han- This mans has small peepee energy. And he bad mouthed Fu, so get FUCKED, my dude.

6. Jagged Stone- We are going to ignore the deadbeat dad trope that canon thrust upon him. He is a Marinette stan, and we love that.

5. Kim Le Chien- I really love Kim, you guys. Does that surprise you? Listen, my favorite male character types are sweet beans and himbos. Kim is both of these.

4. Master Fu- If you didn’t pick up on how much I love Fu from the episodes ranking, then idk what to tell you. I want him to be my grandpa. I would trust this mans with my life. He did his best. You paint those pictures, you funky little man. I love you.

3. Plagg- My galaxy trash man. Love him. 10/10 chefs kisses all around.

Akumatized: Valid Or Not

This is basically a list of every akumatized that has appeared so far. There will be four types of categories that they will be put into that say whether or not their reason for being akumatized was valid or not.

Categories:

1. Valid- The reason they were akumatized is completely understandable and could happen to anyone.

2. Semi-Valid- It is still understandable, but for things that are relatively normal. Like losing a contest, being rejected by a crush, or failing a test.

3. You Brought This On Yourself- Akumatized over something that was basically their fault to begin with and is not valid at all.

4. What The Hell- An akumaization that makes no sense at all and most likely not really much of a reason to be akumatized in the first place.

Season One:

Nino Lahiffe- Bubbler: Valid. Gabriel is a jerk that would not let his son's best friend throw him a birthday party.

Xavier Ramier- Mr. Pigeon: Semi-Valid. Was just trying to feed the pigeons, but had been aware that there was a rule/law against it.

Aurore Beauréal- Stormy Weather: Semi-Valid. Lost a contest, but almost had it rubbed in her face when she was told that she lost by a lot.

Alix Kubdel- Timebreaker: Valid. Had her family heirloom destroyed not even an hour after she got it because other people did not put a pocket watch in their pocket when she asked them to hold it during her race.

Théo Barbot- Copycat: Semi-Valid. Believed that the girl he had a crush on was dating someone else, but was treating the situation more that she was an object that he could take if he wanted to.

Jalil Kubdel- Pharaoh: Valid. While it is never a good idea to try and resurrect the dead, his father rejected his theory about the spell even when they were in a city of magical heroes and villains.

Alya Césaire- Lady Wifi: Semi-Valid. Was wrongly suspended because Chloe was being a brat. She may have been taking pictures of Chloe's locker, but the door was open and Chloe had accused her of breaking into it.

Nathaniel Kurtzberg- The Evillustrator: Valid. Was embarrassed by having his crush revealed by a bully and humiliated when the drawings of his crush were revealed to everyone.

Roger Raincomprix- Rogercop: Semi-Valid. Was wrongfully fired for not arresting a girl that the mayor's daughter accused of theft even without proof, but had not done any sort of investigation at all about the missing bracelet.

Lê Chiến Kim- Dark Cupid: Valid. May have been rejected by his crush but had his heart broken on Valentine's day and humiliated by the girl he had a crush on.

Mylène Haprèle- Horrificator: Semi-Valid. We all get scared and she was trying to be brave for the film, but she was also the one that purposely signed up to be the lead in a horror movie.

Armand D'Argencourt- Darkblade: Semi-Valid. Lost the mayoral election, but was also running because he thought that he should reclaim his family's lost seat of power from back in medieval times. It's been hundreds of years, man. Get over it.

Fred Haprèle- Mime: Valid. Was wrongfully fired from his job because a co-worker had sabotaged him to gain the lost job for himself.

Jean Duparc- Magician of Misfortune: What The Hell. We were never even given a reason for why he was akumatized in the first place.

Rose Lavillant- Princess Fragrance: Valid. Simply wanted to give a letter to a prince to thank him for all the charity work he does, but the letter was destroyed by a bully.

Ivan Bruel- Stoneheart: Valid. Believed that his crush rejected him while also being bullied/teased over the crush in the first place. Was also bullied over being akumatized in the first place and called a monster.

Otis Césaire- Animan: What The Hell. So, he was akumatized because a teenage boy thought that he could out-run a panther. Even for a zookeeper, is that really something to be upset about?

Simón Grimault- Simon Says: Valid. May have lost a contest, but was basically cheated out of a win because Gabriel did not even really seem like he was going to participate in the first place and he was not even given the chance to try his act.

Vincent Aza- Pixelator: You Brought This On Yourself. A creepy stalker that wants a picture of his favorite rock star and will try anything to get it. "Yicks" is all I have to say.

Jagged Stone- Guitar Villain: Valid. Was told that he had to change his look and music to the complete opposite of his own just because his manager liked a teenage pop star more than him.

Wang Cheng- Kung Food: Valid. He lost a contest, but that was only because Chloe was a brat that sabotaged him.

Max Kanté- Gamer: Semi-Valid. He lost a chance to be in a video game contest but was more upset over losing his chance because he lost to a girl.

Juleka Couffaine- Reflekta: Valid. She was trying to break her "photo curse" but lost her chance because Chloe had her locked in the bathroom so she could stand next to her crush/obsession.

Sabrina Raincomprix- Vanisher: Valid. Had a fight with her best friend and then said best friend also pretended that she was invisible because she was a brat.

Chloé Bourgeois- Antibug: You Brought This On Yourself. She was a brat that was called out for lying about being the reason for an akumaization by the hero that she admired.

Lila Rossi- Volpina: You Brought This On Yourself. She was called out for lying about being best friends with a superhero and trying to claim that she was also a hero with a fake miraculous. Karma will always come back to bite you, Liar Rossi.

Season 2:

Santa Claus- Santa Claws: Valid. Was trying to be a good samaritan, but was instead accused of kidnapping by a superhero.

Gabriel Agreste- Collector: You Brought This On Yourself. Gabriel is Hawkmoth and he akumatized himself. Need I say more.

Nadja Chamack- Prime Queen: You Brought This On Yourself. Her job may have been on the line, but she was willing to leave out information and use a picture taken out of context as her "proof" that the heroes were a couple.

Jean- Despair Bear: You Brought This On Yourself. Was trying to use humiliation to try and make a spoiled brat change her ways and was doing it in front of her class.

Kagami Tsurugi- Riposte: Valid. Thought that a single loss against a formidable opponent meant that she had lost her honor because of an over strict mother.

Gina Dupain- Befana: Semi-Valid. Had a hard time realizing that her grandaughter was growing up, but all grandparents feel that way.

Markov- Robostus: Valid. Even as a robot, he still had feelings, but was told he was just a toy and locked away like an object.

Mr. Damocles- Dark Owl: You Brought This On Yourself. If you are a high school principal with no reason or skill to become a hero, don't try and be one while exhausting the real heroes in the process because they keep having to save you.

August- Gigantitan: Valid. He's a literal baby.

André- Glaciator: Semi-Valid. Was told that the special "soulmate" ice cream that he believed in was not magical, but it was still only one girl that did not want that ice cream.

Ella and Etta Césaire- Sapotis: You Brought This On Yourself. They may be young girls, but they had repeatedly been told to go to bed and were rightfully punished for their bad behavior.

Adrien's bodyguard/The Gorilla- Gorizilla: Valid. He was just trying to do his job and was having an extra stressful day with his charge running off and disappearing with almost half of Paris looking for him.

Anarka Couffaine- Captain Hardrock: Valid. Roger was a jerk to her, telling her that her loud music could not be played during the festival instead of simply telling her to turn it down a little.

Clara Nightingale- Frightningale: Valid. Was told that she could not perform or shoot her music video in France anymore because Chloe was being a brat over not being the star in the music video.

Ondine- Syren: Semi-Valid. She believed that she was rejected by her crush, but there had actually not been any real rejected on Kim's part.

Caline Bustier- Zombizou: Semi-Valid. While she took the akuma to protect her student, the akuma was only there because she made her student believe that she was in trouble for being a victim of bullying

Philippe- Frozer: Valid. He is close to losing his business because of the lack of customers.

Audrey Bourgeois- Style Queen: You Brought This On Yourself. She is a grown woman throwing a temper tantrum because she had to sit in the second row of a fashion show.

Penny Rolling- Troublemaker: Valid. Give the woman a bloody break. She deserves it for putting up with you crazy people and a freaking crocodile every day.

Queen Bee/Chloe Bourgeois-Queen Wasp: You Brought This On Yourself. While she had been trying to impress the mother she thought would never love her, she still stole a miraculous, almost caused a train to crash, and used her powers selfishly.

Marc Anciel-Reverser: Valid. He had his notebook destroyed and confidence ruined after trying to put himself out there for the first time because of a big misunderstanding between himself, Nathaniel, and Marinette.

Nora Césaire- Anansi: Semi-Valid. She was trying to protect her sister, but was being super overprotective and did not have faith in actual superheroes.

André Bourgeois- Malediktator: Valid. He was trying to keep his family happy and together but was faced against a brat of a daughter and a controlling wife where neither respected him.

Boy- Sandboy: Semi-Valid. He was a little boy that had a frightening nightmare, but nightmares are pretty common and normal in life.

Lila Rossi- Volpina: You Brought This On Yourself. She wanted to be akumatized and gladly welcomed the chance to be a villain again.

Nathalie Sancoeur- Catalyst: You Brough This On Yourself. She was willingly akumatized. Nothing more needs to be said.

Rena Rouge/Alya Cesair- Rena Rage: Valid. Took a negative emotions arrow for her boyfriend and had all her love put in reverse and turned into rage.

Carapace/Nino Lahiffe- Shell Shock: Valid. Just saw his superhero girlfriend be akumatized and was both losing hope and was hit by a negative emotions arrow.

Heroes' Day Villains: Valid. They all believed that one of their town heroes had been killed by the akumatized form of their other main hero. They had lost hope.

Season 3:

Lila Rossi- Chameleon: You Brought This On Yourself. She literally grabbed the akuma out of the air purposely got akumatized to try and ruin Adrien's friendships and get another shot at defeating Ladybug.

Thomas Astruc- Animaestro: What The Hell. So, he was akumatized because no one recognized him as a director of an animation movie. I did not really understand it. He was a director of an animation movie. Why would anyone recognize him if they had not seen the movie credits and know who the director was in the first place?

Rolland Dupain- Bakerix: What The Hell. I'm still confused over him. Was he akumatized because Marinette lied about who she was or was it because he was upset over modern baking techniques outshining his own? I did not get it.

Marianne Lenoir- Backwarder: Valid. She had been waiting a long time for the person that she loved, only to believe that he no longer cared for her.

Max Kanté- Gamer 2.0: Semi-Valid. He could not find a person to test out the game that he had made and was told no by a lot of people. A person can only take rejection for so long.

Tom Dupain- Weredad: Valid. He wanted to protect his daughter from heartbreak and was a victim of a lie gone way out of hand.

Luka Couffaine- Silencer: Valid. The song, look, and music that he and his friends created was stolen and his friend had been threatened when they tried to get their music back.

Kagami Tsurugi- Oni-Сhan: Valid. She might have been jealous, but that was only because Liar Rossi lied her way into her friend's home, kissed him without his permission, and claimed that the two were a couple even when he was obviously uncomfortable with her kissing him.

Sabrina Raincomprix- Miraculer: Semi-Valid. She was yelled at by her friend even though she was simply trying to help her after she fought off being akumatized.

Alya Césaire & Nino Lahiffe- Oblivio: What The Hell. They were akumatized over being caught playing a silly video game. That is a very stupid reason.

Wayhem- Party Crasher: Valid. He thought that his friend lied to him about not being able to have friends over and was then rejected at the door of his friend's house when he thought that there was a party there he could attend.

Chris Lahiffe- Christmaster: Semi-Valid. He was upset over not being able to get his presents early, but what kid wouldn't be upset over that.

Manon Chamack- Puppeteer: Semi-Valid. Wanted to play with the big kids and felt ignored by them all day. But that is pretty common for little kids to feel, especially when older siblings and their friends are involved.

Aurore Beauréal- Stormy Weather: Valid. Not only were her grades slipping, but she was also ridiculed by a bully, bullied by her saying 'once a villain always a villain.'

Ms. Mendeleiev- Kwamibuster: Semi-Valid. She was humiliated on live television when trying to prove herself as a great scientist, but she had not even bothered to look at the footage she had before going on the show.

Dormant Sentimonster- Feast: What The Hell. An akumatized sentimonster. I have officially seen it all now.

Juleka Couffaine- Reflekta/Reflectdoll: Valid. She was trying to start her dream of being a model but was basically chased out because Alya was pushing her matchmaking over her friend's dream.

Tomoe Tsurugi- Ikari Gozen: Semi-Valid. Her daughter had disobeyed her to play a game that she did not think was worth the time, but she was still an overly strict mother that was trying to control her daughter's every move.

Vivica- Desperada: Valid. She was fired for a completely ridiculous reason and her boss was quick to try and find a replacement for her.

Claudie Kanté- Startrain: Valid. She was a nervous wreck over if she was close to achieving her dream of being an astronaut while also being a worried mother about having to leave her son if she did get accepted into training.

Xavier Ramier- Mr. Pigeon: You Brought This On Yourself/What The Hell. This guy had been akumatized about 24 times. Enough said.

Future Chris Lahiffe- Timetagger: What The Hell. We are never even given a reason why he was akumatized in the first place.

Cat Noir- Cat Blanc: Valid. He had just found out that his father is the supervillain that has been terrorizing Paris for years and that the mother that disappeared has been under his house the entire time in a coma.

Alya Césaire/Rose Lavillant/Juleka Couffaine- Lady Wifi/Princess Fragrance/Reflekta: Valid. They believed that their friend had sent a horrible message to them in return for their heartfelt messages about them supporting him in his time of pain.

This focuses more on Adrien’s child abuse (more severe than in canon) and his growth out of it with the support of his friends and found family. The way it presents all of the relationships is brilliant and puts me in a lot of adrien feels. I think a lot about this fic

there is this certain kind of intimacy in studying in a room with a stranger for a week and i love it so much. the fic puts it into words while also subtly developing their friendship and i guess it’s a niche, but this was very relaxing read!
