Most of the time it’s momentarily while she's already in the middle of sprinting, to give herself a boost with a bound or two, or if she trips or feels herself falling forward while running she'll shift onto all fours which is is how she originally developed that "reflex", to prevent herself from falling while running, but eventually she started using it a little more often 

She can also just walk normally on all fours too but she usually only uses it while running 

She likes to show off her object collections to Mono, he’s very supportive :] Loves long car rides, as well as Runaway

personality — i'm a rather introverted person, but i'm trying my best to work on that. i have depression, anxiety, and adhd, but i'm always telling myself uplifting things and trying to work on my mindsets, so i'd like to say that i'm also sincere and compassionate! i'm also very adaptable and easily influenced by the behaviors of people around me. i think at first impression, i look standoffish and judgemental, but i think it's because i lack the confidence to say what i think and express my emotions, which i'm also working on! once i'm comfortable, i think i'm a very funny, intelligent, and caring person (i'm an extremely sensitive person and receptive to others' emotions — i cried a LOT watching karasuno v shiratorizawa 😐), but i can also tease and be a little sarcastic if the relationship calls for it. i get very affectionate and touchy with close friends too! long story short - i might seem awkward and quiet, but give me a moment— i'm trying, and i'll get there eventually, and i think that'll be worth waiting for. :)

hobbies — i like to do visual art things, like sketch pretty anime boys and also cross-stitch and make calligraphy! i'm a bullet-journaler :) i also love love LOVE learning languages and about different cultures, especially asian ones. i think i'm a pretty studious person when i get into it but i do procrastinate a lot T____T i'm also super into playing genshin impact, but i easily hop interests, so one day i'll be on this and the next, it's something else i'm rambling about. get ready to get ur ear talked off about wtv i love that week <3

what i want/need in a relationship — i have a pretty idealistic idea of romance - i want someone perfect, but i know that's not realistic. at the very least, i want someone who loves me very much and is honest about that. they also need to let me be affectionate and clingy, and will be the same way back, even if it's just a little bit. i'm someone who needs love and affirmation rather consistently, like a freaking plant. i NEED someone who'll make sure i'm doing things and being productive, and someone who will actively encourage me to both be a better person mentally and physically get things done. they also should be able to take care of me (i'm a youngest child so i like being babied~) <3

5 things I Like About Myself

1) My determination - I tend to get very stubborn & persistant if I have my mind set on something so that I'm not on a wild goose chase. When I have something I want to pursue or achieve, I go for it to the max.

2) My sense of humor - In other words, I am amused very easily which makes it really easy to cheer me up when I feel down. My low sense of humor really helps me get through the crappiest times because it just pulls me out of my negativity so yeah.

3) My Anxiousness - Hear me out. If it were not for my constant worrying, I'd be slacking off in college. My anxiousness is what pushes my stubborn butt to do the things I have to do so I have it to thank for making me so hard-working.

4) My Passion for the Performing Arts - Since it's a craft of skills and art, there is not a day that goes by that I don't learn anything. It's something I plan to pursue because it makes me incredibly happy and like I said, every-day becomes a lesson since the craft involves exploration, and I mean, a lot.

5) My Sensitivity - I put my friends and family before myself most of the time because I really care for them all dearly. I get all touchy and stuff if I feel like I'm not doing enough so I always try my best to provide and make everyone happy.

ok here's some UzuRyu headcanon

I jumped onto this train bc I saw some art of ryuko and sanageyama as childhood friends and I really liked it so i’m just diving headfirst into this entire ship (pray for my multishipping ass)

and also I’m cutting for length bc good fuck am I long-winded

anyway

it takes a long goddamn time (relatively) for ryuko and uzu to get to a Relationship Situation

mostly bc they’re both idiots that don’t have the best grasp on their emotions

like, it starts out after the Final Battle. ryuko and mako start hanging out with satsuki and the four devas and at the beginning it’s super weird for everyone involved but they all become friends eventually,

and ryuko and uzu kinda start off from their last battle. even w/o the goku uniforms/senketsu ryuko just hands uzu’s ass to him. but they don’t really hate each other anymore so he’s like “yeah wow ok you’re way stronger than me, I admit it, lets let this go and go get like ice cream or something” & ryuko’s just like “yeah aight that sounds fun kinda” and they hit it off as friends.

so like, everyone’s all weird and still kinda tense in this group. satsuki’s Calmed Down a bit but it’s still weird to go from “enemies”->allies in The Battle->friends. except ryuko and uzu, who are now Buddies.

and they stay buddies. for like, years. everyone graduates and ryuko and mako and satsuki and the devas all become Actual Proper Friends (and satsuki and nonon start dating) and all that instead of Lady Satsuki And Her Sister(and sister’s bff) And Her Bodyguards. and there are ryuko and uzu, hitting up convenience stores at 4 in the morning to go get slushies, aggressively playing pokémon at each other, climbing into abandoned shit to hang out and go “man was that big battle fuckin weird or what”, shit like that. it’s a Chill™ buddyship and it surprises a few ppl (at some point ryuko and mako try dating. uzu is cheering them on the entire time even tho eventually they decide that dating was kind of a weird change and while they still care abt each other, they’d really just prefer to be bffs)

and By Now, the other devas have started pestering uzu about always hanging out with ryuko. (mostly its nonon) like “hey i’m gonna go to a park w ryuko n mako” “oOOOooOOooooOoHhhhHHHhhHhhHHh AAaRrrE yOu NoW”

and uzu’s just like “whatever, i’m gonna go get food with my buddy” and just does not even notice what they’re insinuating for the longest time(much to nonon’s Increasing Frustration)(nonon ships it)

but Eventually he kind of starts Feeling Feels, but he doesn’t really know what Feels they are

until one day they’re like, hanging out at a park w mako and fam, and they’re leaning against each other doing the Buddy Thing, and ryuko fell asleep bc she and mako and satsuki and nonon were up all night playing tekken for Girls Night or w/e (nonon spent most of the night like “so 👀👀 ryuko-chan 👀👀👀 do you like 👀👀 /like/ 👀 sanageyamaanyone??”)

and uzu realizes that if neither of them ever moved from that exact spot he would actually be pretty happy. and THEN realizes “Oh Shit I think I have a Thing for ryuko, What Do I Do” and spends the rest of the day as a flustered mess

and THAT NIGHT once they go their separate ways he kicks in the door to where the rest of the devas are chilling(someone’s house? idk) and he’s like, bright red and just shouts “I THINK I LIKE RYUKO HELP ME WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO” and there’s like, this moment of stunned silence, before they all start laughing. uzu’s like “DONT MOCK ME THIS IS A CRISIS” and they’re all just, howling. eventually they calm down but it is Brutal. like “dude it took you long enough it’s been Four Fuckin Years, ur 22, what the fuck” “awwwwwwww the northern kanto monkey is finally having his big-boy feelings” “DAMMIT I lost the bet, couldn’t you wait like six months to realize what emotions are,” type of shit. but once they calm down they are All On Board for this

but nobody knows if ryuko feels the same way, right? so the devas are like “you keep being buddies w her, we’ll try to figure out if she feels the same”

so they keep being buddies. except now uzu’s a flustered, awkward mess. its ridiculous and Very Obvious. and ryuko just does not notice The Obvious. she notices he’s acting weird but it doesn’t Click. a month or two passes and she Does Not Notice.

the devas are, at this point, Very Frustrated.

and one day. one day. some fanfic shit happens. like maybe uzu tripped over something while being A Mess and is generally being, well, A Mess, and ryuko’s like “hmmmmmm” and then like “oh no. Oh No I Think I Like Him”

and once they go their separate ways ryuko goes to satsuki (because satsuki is not only her sister but In A Relationship, she must know what feelings are, right?) and while bright red, kicks in the door and says “SIS HELP WHAT DO I DO I THINK I LIKE UZU”

satsuki is (not)stunned (she was there when uzu went to the devas for help) but basically says “well I mean. does he like you back? if he does, maybe go for it? just like. tell him how you feel” and ryuko’s like “NOOO I CAN’T DO THAT. THATS NO. WE’RE BUDDIES WHAT IF IT MESSES UP THINGS” and satsuki’s just like Oh My God Just Do It Already (which she does not say out loud) ryuko eventually leaves to go talk to mako about it and have Crisis Time bc Emotion

and satsuki IMMEDIATELY goes to the devas (sans sanageyama) like “GUESS WHAT I JUST FOUND OUT YALL it is GO TIME!”

so now those guys are Waiting For Someone To Make A Move. Trying To Drop Hints. all that sort of thing

and like two weeks later, nothing’s happened, and they’re sick of waiting. ryuko and uzu have still been hanging out This Entire Time. they’re both very flustered and again, Very Obvious. and Neither One Of Them Notices. Enough Is Goddamn Enough, the devas decide. Something Must Be Done

so uzu and ryuko are hanging out alone, mako had to go do something. satsuki and nonon and houka crash the party. houka says something along the lines of “wow sanageyama look at you out and about w your crush, u go dude.” uzu turns bright red again and there’s this Painfully Long Moment before ryuko puts 2 and 2 together. and she jumps up and just shouts “WHAT” uzu’s just “AAH WHAT, WHAT” “YOU LIKE ME? I LIKE YOU!” “WHAT? YOU LIKE ME? I LIKE YOU!” “AAAAAAAAAAAA-” “AAAAAAAAAAAA-” and houka just fuckin, leaves. “my work here is done, bye”

nonon and satsuki are still there like “this has been painful to watch for like 3 months will you two just date already”

in their excitement, uzu hugs ryuko, they kiss, and they Finally Start Dating. Finally.

So I'm just getting involved in dnd for the first time and am in the character creation stage. You might've talked about this before, but how do you go about creating your characters for it?

omg!!! :’) you’re gonna have so much fun, i’m really excited for you anon!!! dnd is the best!!!!

but, honestly, how i make my characters kind of depends. sometimes i think about what class i want to play and build a character around that, like… hmm, i really want to play a ranger. what kind of person can i imagine having those skills? and sort of start brainstorming around the idea of someone who’s very attuned to the wilderness, probably a hunter of sorts, that sort of thing. do they live in the wilderness now, or did they grow up there? or are they part of a kings guard or a noble, trained in the fashionable art of hunting? are they happy with where they live, whether in a town or city or in the wilds? do they want to be somewhere else? how has living so close to nature shaped them? did they interact a lot with people, or no? were they exiled into the wilderness, or was it something they embraced? are they cheerful and peaceful in the wilds, or gruff and cynical and distrustful? 

i sort of start… sketching out an idea of what kind of person that might be, and from there, i sort of…. fan out into backstory (since backstory shapes a character a lot). maybe they learned their basic skills in archery as a noble for sport, but then became exiled due to an Aeducan Backstab and court machinations and now live in the wilds with no home to call their own – with nothing to their name but a desperate desire to reclaim their birthright once more. then i would move onto personality and interests, fleshing those out a little more. (usually i actually have a sort of vague “vibe” of a character that i’m going for – that noble exile might be kind of intense and aloof, but as i flesh them out more i’d realize that that growing up in court they had few people they could trust and count on – and the betrayal of someone close to them cut them deeply. they have never really had a true and kind and warm Family, somewhere they feel like they can let down their guard, and that makes them cold….. but even though they don’t know it, they’ve spent their whole life longing for love and relationships and kindness like they’ve never known). 

aaaaaaaaand other times i sort of have an idea of the character’s personality, and their class and backstory sort of come from there. for my half elf wizard zara, for instance, i knew i wanted someone who would be charming and flamboyant and cocky, but who was fairly secretive and a liar and a thief – well, a thief with a heart of gold, anyway. (oh! one good tip for creating a character you think is fun to play is thinking of all your favorite Character Tropes/Types. those characters you just ALWAYS seem to fall in love with, which for me would be charming rogues with commitment issues if that wasn’t obvious enough lmao. like who are your favorite characters, and what makes them so special to you? you can get inspiration from them and pull that into what you kind of want for your character). 

anyway, once i had an idea of zara’s personality, i knew i wanted her to be from one of my favorite Settings – she felt like a city girl, someone who lived in a seedy port city with a healthy criminal underground, someone who was comfortable tricking and scamming people. i sort of figured she was probably a street urchin at some point.. and the city that i imagined for her kind of built up then. so, i did a little world building, and created a character named The Maître who’s basically the queenpin of the undercity, who runs a thieves/spy guild and is into some pretty dirty business… and she plays a huge role in my character’s life and backstory, which helped flesh that out a lot. so… i guess what i’m saying is, i sort of developed a personality that i liked and then a setting that matched and helped explain that personality, and then… the backstory sort of evolved from the combination of setting & personality. i actually picked zara’s class last; i knew i wanted her to mostly use magic, to trick ppl and be slippery and enchant them, and eventually i settled on divination wizard… which is perfect for her but for reasons i don’t need to get into here haha.

so… yeah!!! idk, those are my two main approaches: 1) pick a class and build from there, and 2) pick a personality and build from there. occasionally i’ll do 3) pick a backstory and build from there, but normally it’s the first two (cause picking a character whose personality i like and is fun to play is more important to me than backstory, since… backstory shapes personality? so i wouldn’t want to pick a backstory and then find out that it sort of would shape into a really unpleasant character lol, but sometimes a backstory can shape into a cool character so it just depends).

Ok as much as I love my kpop, the song that means the most to me is Rolling in the Deep by Adele. You might think “damn that’s an old song” and it is but that’s why I love it. It was one of the first songs I ever listened to when I first discovered pop music in like the middle of grade school. I still remember it playing in the car as I went through the biggest change in my life. It was a really confusing and painful part in my life and every time I hear the song (which is rare because it doesn’t play on the radio as often anymore), it makes me smile because I think about how far I’ve come and how much stronger I’ve gotten. 

2) If you are free to do anything you want for a day, what would you do?

ummm lmao I have a lot of free time tbh but I waste it all on kdramas :))) for the sake of this question, if I was able to do anything for a day I would go to The City (San Francisco) with a few good friends and visit all the cute, local art shops and exhibits and gardens where I would bring my sketchbook and practice drawing plants and people and scenery and eat ALL the good food (aka not salads, sorry I will tolerate them on days I feel fat but today is not that day) and visit aesthetic coffee shops boba shops :))) and take a TON of aesthetic pictures.

3) Beaches or mountains?

mountains because they make me feel like a giant when I reach the very top and look at all the tiny houses and cars

4) What’s one thing you are passionate about?

Currently, it’s badminton. I joined my high school badminton team and I’ve met some really amazing people and gotten hella swol from all the running (the conditioning is no joke). I haven’t been this motivated to get better at something in a looooong time. BUT ALSO I LOVE ART AND WATERCOLOR AND PHOTOGRAPHY AND FASHION DESIGN AND MUSIC :)))

The one that comes to mind first is Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur. It’s an amazing collection of poems and it’s the only book that has ever and will ever make me cry.

a friend is rlly getting on my nerves because she’s the type of person to only come to you when she needs you and she ditched me for some “cooler” people but it’s cool because i found my own friends and now she’s clinging on to me because the “cooler” people aren’t there for her and she was coming to me today for some comfort but i was rlly passive aggressive and gave her advice instead of comfort and now i’m pretty sure she’s mad and she’s proabably going to talk shit about me to all of my own friends soooooooo

but whatever she’s not important and not worth stressing about :)

um also my legs are hella sore from practice and i can barely walk properly

we did a one mile warm up, then a 3 mile run, then STRAIGHT SPRINTS FOR A WHOLE HOUR WITHOUT ANY BREAKS lmao i wasn’t kidding when i said our conditioning was no joke

i watched vox’s “2018 in 5 minutes” video and cried so thats how this year has been :^) a lot of lows......... we always think we leave the shittiest year behind then lo.............. the next year rears its ugly head and we never learn............ despite this, im gonna try to keep a positive outlook on the new year......... its literally just another day and i have to be in at work @ 9 tmrw but its what ever im already super fucking tired whats losing another hour of sleep anywahy?? its practically expected of me any way what with being a youth,,, ANYWAY i spent my time ringing in the new year watching spiderman homecoming so i think that wa sGREAt its also great  that im gonna get to see spiderverse AGAIN tmrw after work so SUCK ON THAT im ringing in the new year RIGHT!! its a very spidey new year and i wouldnt have it any other way heh.....

and actually reflect this time last year was weak sauce compared to the first year “im too unfocused right now happy new year or whatever” *scoffs* what r u too good for self reflecting now a days huhh

been doing a lot of self reflecting this year,,,,,, but today we will look back on how the previous years have gotten me to where i am today...

if 2016 was the year of change and 2017 was the year of getting used to things.............. 2018 felt like............ the year of getting TOO used to things, of not ENOUGH change............. like alright i scratched a few of the bigger things on my yearly “to do” list/resolutions, i. e. finally going back to school and getting a job at the library, but like.......... i definitly dont feel like i did enough........... my art game was SO WEAK and i feel like i wrote less than 10,000 words ALL YEAR (not counting my academic papers) i didnt really CREATE anything this i dont have ANYTHING significant to show for this year............and to get more negative i didnt even make any friends all year NONE FRIENDS im only *just* starting to get more friendly with people at the library thank GOD theyre nice and gave my shy ass a chance to open up but i still dont feel like ill make FRIEND friends theyre just work friends and u kno what thats making me so pissed bc its tricking my dumb ass into thinking i have a crush on someone at work aND that i want a *romantic* relationship with them!!! OUTRAGEOUS im so peeved.......................... i also still havent gotten behind a wheel but at this point im not sure if i will anytime soon bc im That Way..... grrrr im just mad thinking of all the things i didnt do so motherfucker i will make 2019 the year of DOING!!!! and i had so many resolutions last year i feel like the more i had the less i felt like i had to do them, like i was just saying all that to be like “oh wouldnt it be nice if any of these things happened lmao” so yeah 2019: the year of DOING... and since ive kinda sorta figured out that writing is my thang.... i think i wanna focus on doing that.. and anything that will help me do it

-WRITE AT LEAST 50.000 WORDS U COWARD, more than just “brainstorming” too bc thats like a cop out, write like stories or dialogue or scenes or scripts or WHATEVER just make it to 50,000 pls some people do that in like a month

-READ UR GOD DAMN BOOKS, u *cant* buy anymore if u dont read the ones u’ve already bought,,,, im willing to make an acception re: checking things out from the library................ but u rlly shouldnt IT WOULD’VE BEEN SO EASY TO WIN THE BET DUDE srsly..... maybe .... an hour b4 bed ? try to read ? at least try to read once a week dude....

-heres a curve ball WATCH MORE MOVIES !!! u say u love film well fuckin act like u do...... u only went to the movie theater 5 times all year and three of those were all in the last month to go see spiderverse, more than that HOW MANY movies are there on netflix that u see and go “oh i should watch that finally” or “people say thats rlly good bro” and u scroll right past to watch the same 3 fuckin movies i s2g

-oh yeah back to the writing thing, to reach that 50,000 goal u should write about what you read and watch, there u’ll prob meet the goal b4 summer if u do that bro but....u actually gotta do it....................

im not even gonna put draw/art blog related stuff on here bc........ its not what i want........ like i love drawing and i dont think im terrible at it, im at a good place with it but i dont wanna put my energy this year into drawing stuff for the sake of me being able to say “i did it” like...... last yr and the yr b4 i rlly RLLY wanted to get better at art to idk prove that i could?? but like i havent picked up my drawing tablet in months ... that makes me really sad but i dont really feel like picking it up either? ? i said i wanted to take a painting/color theory/ life drawing class maybe i will this yr and it’ll reinvigorate my love of drawing........ tbh spiderverse got me *this close* to being pumped about art and animation and like yeah i still am, i love the medium and its still a dream of mine to be apart of it but it feels like a pipe dream if i try to go thru the art angle........ so many people r better than me at that and its not really what i wanna do,,, i wanna CREATE STORIES and worlds and characters and like i used my art to help *me* develop those but... i dont wanna use my art to do it for someone else i guess............. the art of animation itself still facsinates me so they door isnt close yet but,,, i wanna focus on the other aspect of myself that im more and at the same time LESS confident about lmao WRITING like alright,,, i think im a good writer .... sorta ? like yeah people tell me i am and sometimes when i look back on things ive written im like “dAMN i wrote this ???” but like,,,, there are some things to writing that still. escape me... like poetry.... and a lot of other aspects to it that i cant describe write now bc it would take too long and im getting cold and tired SO YEAH hopefully this english class will help me, even tho its just writting for college essays, i need to start somewhere and if shes rlly as good of a professor as rate my professor says then ill learn smthg new

well the year wasnt ALL bad, like i said i got the job at the library i wanted and FINALLY got to go to school, stressful as that mightve been........ and i got to see my love, my darling, the light of my life rhys again for one glorious week,, hopefully ill be able to see more of my friends this year? either in miami or milwuakee idc which MAYBE BOTH lmao im not that rich but hey i can dream,,,
