Honestly it’s probably the radio that she fixes for him. He has a lot of shiny things a lot of gold teeth collected from victims, but the radio gives him a link to the rest of the world.

I had it in my head that Wayne introduced Eddie to music because he didn’t like leaving him alone for long periods of time. Mainly because Wayne knows humans like to encroach on areas they really shouldn’t and maybe if Eddie had some kind of understanding and connection to humans then maybe it would help him.

Not the clearest objective but hey, I haven’t written the idea in full yet 😅.

El Anatsui ([ah-nah-ch-wee], born 1944) is a Ghanaiansculptor active for much of his career in Nigeria. He has drawn particular international attention for his "bottle-top installations". These installations consist of thousands of aluminum pieces sourced from alcohol recycling stations and sewn together with copper wire, which are then transformed into metallic cloth-like wall sculptures. Tanks and water bottles can be cleaned with citric acid. It's the main ingredient in those tablets they sell for cleaning your washing machine and dishwasher (brands like Affresh etc) but way cheaper. Where I live it's like $3-5 for a big 1 lb plastic jar of it.

I use it to clean the external water tank on our coffee maker once a week. Any less than that and it gets a layer of biofilm (The Ooze) and the water gets cloudy. You reeeeally don't want to drink that stuff.

And yes it's safe for metal water bottles! Just keep in mind that it may eat away any brand labels on the outside. If you want to avoid that, don't submerge the whole waterbottle, just clean the inside.

And if you use a tumbler with a straw, don't forget to clean that every single day! Especially the ones with that bump at the end to prevent the straw from falling out. Get a set of bottle and straw brushes, and replace the brushes every month or so.

U ever have any container or appliance that you only ever put water inside you catch yourself thinking 'i only put water in this so I won't need to clean it very often'. That is the devil talking. Clean it. Or you will summon the Ooze.

Bottle cap pins but use can liner graphics instead of bottle caps- the aluminum is thinner, so it's easier to break into sharp edges and easier to get hurt on- But with a delicate touch, it can be done with minimal injuries (I'm pretty clumsy/heavyhanded but I only got poked a few times(practice from making the other pins definitely helps).

Because it's thinner, it also doesn't hold as tight. I used E6000 glue on the backs to maximize hold and attempt to minimize sharp edges.
