HIII last night I remembered flightrising existed. Please look at my fav dragons.

Basically a bunch of fuckheads made some 'fantribes'(tribe=different type of dragon) that are pay to win, minimum $50 each(there was one peakwing custom bid that sold for $1,020. Not even a PREMADE. THEY DIDNT KNOW WHAT IT WOULD LOOK LIKE), and if you are lucky enough to get the ability to make ur own you have to follow rules or they can tell you to change it(and you HAVE to listen to them if you want to keep it). They also have terms of service and if you violate them(or if the current mods don't like you) they can take ur oc and not refund you for any of the money you spent :)

There's a similar thing in furry/artist communities sometimes(if u ever see the term 'closed species' that's what they're talking about) but I have less of a problem with those because it's not literally preying on impressionable children for hundreds of dollars, because wof is, at the end of the day, a children's book with many children fans on the internet :) I've seen kids on there as young as 9 years old that wanted one of these dipshit fancy flavored dragons because it was the new hot thing.

Amino(and therefore art fight) are rampant with people who buy into those types of things. The big ones were soleiwings, serptails, peak wings, and runicwings. Yes they were all operated by friends that already charged a shitton of money for their designs.(As much as $300 base price, more if the design has extra art or some of the fancy aforementioned titles attached)

no but have you considered the post-canon possibility of friendship between dany and arianne? once arianne sees dany herself and forms her own opinion and dany kicks the ass of ice zombies apocalypse, their bonding would be so powerful! two smart and successful female rulers among a bunch of men that naively think they know better. also both of them are short queens <33 just imagine how our girls would giggle and roll eyes at them! i'm so sold to the concept of them being together at court as once dany's mom and arianne's grandma were.

and imagine dany taking arianne into the sky on drogon w her!!! "she burned as bright as any man, and so shall i" and yes, arianne was indeed true to her word. but rising so high above the clouds that it looks like you can touch literal stars w the very alive and real woman who DOES shine as bright as any man and even brighter... it's just smth else.

and how much fun there will be when arianne takes to court her beloved cousins! how dany would be happy to hear from them abt oberyn, who wasn't the bestest of fathers but still taught his daughters to defend themselves, and when i say "happy" i mean dany would be happy for them bc most of her family died before she was even born and then there was only viserys who not only didnt protect her but was rather scandalized when she learnt to defend herself on her own. to hear that in dorne they dont look down at bastards would also be delightful for dany. just imagine her being amazed by sand snakes' skills, shared passion for books and wisdom w sarella, and maybe even taking them to fly w herself and arianne if they want!

Usopp refuses to sell to Blackbeard and everyone supports him

Luffy will eat the edibles cause sometimes he just doesnt want to be a hyperactive captain that does speed

i drove down to the cystore popup shop at kinokuniya!! unfortunately all the things I wanted were already sold out orz (and today’s just the first day...). they started playing the ain soph aur video on loop, which cheered me up a little bit, but i was still a bit bummed that they had that video playing while not actually. having any sandy merch in the lineup lmao. i overheard a bunch of the staff talking incredulously about how fast stuff sold out, too.

I got the second volume of witch hat atelier while i was there (bc i didnt want to have driven all the way down there for nothing lmao) but at the register I asked if the acrylic standees were still available, and they were!!! It looked like Gran was sold out, but I was able to get a Djeeta one ;u; I wasn’t expecting the standees to be so big, and this one felt like it was worth the $20 haha (there were also some chibi dragon knights standees that were the same price, but were only about the size of the sandy stand pictured above. kinda overpriced imo, which is why i went for djeeta instead)

overall, kind of a bummer? but i hope the speed at which the granblue stuff sold out sends a message to cygames that granblue has a dedicated overseas fanbase too!! and maybe they'll consider more standard merch releases that overseas fans have access to instead of making everything exclusive to specific japan-only stores all the time

I want to hear the wildest story you can tell about yourself!

Aww jesus ehhh its a close one between the time I overdosed on mdma and the time I saw Prodigy at Sonisphere in 2014 but I’ll go with the former.

Let me take you back to a simpler time, a time before fidget spinners and dabbing called...2016. 

Nah in all seriousness the story goes. I was invited to a house party and was told it was gonna be like mental. Gonna be like lotsa folks there and lotsa booze and whatever. So I decided to get myself some Mdma because I had a habit at the time and always wanted mdma haha. So a dude I worked with at the time told me he sold it on the side which baffled me cause he is the most teetotal dude in the world. So I met up with him and his supplier who opened up the boot of his car and showed me a fucking slab of white mdma and cut a bit off for me with a chisel. 

So we get to the day of the party and I have my gram and a bottle of wine (buckfast) and 2 cans of dragon soup with me, preparing to get absolutely fucked out my eyeballs. I arrive at the party with my 3 pals and there are 5 people there. Nobody else was fucking coming. So we are sat awkwardly listening to tunes and I decide I am gonna go and take a line of my mdma, like I didn't want it to go to waste and I was just gonna sample it, I had built up a big tolerance so I thought a single line snorted would’ve been okay. So I go upstairs, crush myself a line and snort it and expect to feel like a bit fleein off of a small bit and a bottle of wine. So give or take a half hour I start to come up and I am like “wow holy fuck this is strong” and within like 50 minutes I am completely fucking gone. Like not chewing my jaw fucked but like running around like a fucking maniac hyper as shit sweating like fuck wanting to cuddle and kiss everybody and tell them I love them fleein. 

So I am running around the house and everybody else is like nowhere near on my level and I say like “look does anybody want a key or anything?” and everybody decides to partake (except one girl who funnily enough became my girlfriend like half a year later haha). So all the people in the house had varying levels of tolerance from like same as me to like their first time. So I turned the full house into a bunch of people rolling or fleein whatever on mdma haha. So I continued to drink and run around, me and me friend and this other dude ran shirtless in the rain and found some bikes and rode them up and down the streets it was bliss (Well I tried to ride the bike I couldn’t do it haha). I also kept forgetting where my friend Reece was and I walked in on him trying to finger a girl like 4 times just because I genuinely forgot if he was still in the house.

So I was still absolutely fucked at about 7am and everybody else started to calm down cause they had keys and I had took a line and basically I had to go and get my granddad at 10 to bring him to my parents house and me being very greedy me, even though I hadn’t came down decided to take more of this like demon mdma. Took a finger full and gummed it up and like 10 minutes later started to feel a bit...weird. I was like “Oh fuck I am hitting a bad one” and my friend (for some fucking reason) gave me a joint and I took a few draws and BOOM I was in the mother of all bad trips. I started puking constantly, hyper ventilating, convulsing, losing consciousness from time to time, kept needing the toilet but couldnt go haha. (I am feeling anxious even remembering how awful it was bleh). MY friends wanted to call an ambulance but I was so scared like what my parents would say I was like “Fuck no I will ride it out” it was so so bad. I then had to walk home at 9:30 during a thunder storm because it started raining like fuck it was so awful. Got to a shop to drink some orange juice cause apparently it calms down mdma? Its probably bullshit haha, then some woman ansked me and my friend to look after her dog and we thought she had been away for like 40 minutes but it was like 3? We were debating who had to adopt the dog cause she had just abandoned it. 

Anyways, I made it home and LUCKILY my Granddad decided he didnt want to come over thank fuck so I got to go to bed and I had to talk myself to sleep because I was still like freaking the fuck out in my bed. I woke up like 7 hours later feeling super rough, but a girl I liked invited me to a club so I dusted myself off, had a smoke and had another bottle of wine and ended up at a club the next night. Ended up going home with the girl, she gave me some coke and I once again started going into a mild bad one haha. Also her parents came home early from some trip? (she told me she lived alone) and I had to climb out a window still being an absolute fucking mess and run home which took 2 hours.

Turns out the mdma was like 98% pure? But I am still to this day convinced that it was cut with something because that stuff was the absolute demon king of mdma. 

Moral of the story? Dont be a greedy bastard haha.

so i cant remember if ive mentioned this but i agreed to DM for a campaign for my lil sib n friends (help) n so ive now got 6 players, all sophomores in high school. So far weve got (under the cut)

Yeet, the Aarakocra Bard (lil sibs char) -is mute due to being almost murdered by a beholder, now has a fairy dragon friend which speaks for him -wants REVENGE(!!!)

Yubelle, the Elf Wizard -grew up in a small village, her fam was murdered by “something” (>:3ccc) was taken in by the community as a whole afterwards, spent most of her time in the library and eventually decided to leave to explore the world. Shes also a fuckin hoarder p much, due to the fact the kid making her was like “yeah shes got like idk, three chess boards” and me being like why the fuck not. So shes just got a fuckin huge backpack filled with a bunch of random stuff. Decided the town sold most of her fams stuff except what Yubelle wanted to keep, and gave her the money when she was old enough. Like NICE PEOPLE do.
