After he left to the Nether, Philza was the one who finally found his portal on some dessert and walked into it to see the red forest with a quite big cave there. And here we have my boi.

Phil made him go with him by using gold, which the hybrid loves,, bc,,, shiny.

He tells him a story about how this fukin countries were formed and how it started, but he erased himself from it. Like he was never there.

Even if he made Wilbur build walls by saying how winged hybrids hated it. Even if he told him about beautiful wings that looked like the night sky on Dream's back.

Even if he laughed about how much fear tnt caused to people.

He was silent when the crow hybrid asked him about the wars, even if he heard the explosives blow up when he looked for some normal wood.

Post-Prison! Dream Headcanons that aren’t canon but for my own satisfaction okay?!:

* First and foremost: Dream is half-blind and selectively mute. He is either a sheep or Ender Dragon hybrid. Puffy is his adopted guardian, Foolish his adopted brother, Mamacita is his sister(Drista too, obviously) while Mexican Dream(MD) is his brother-in-law who he does not like due to his similarities with a certain duck hybrid, though he does acknowledge him as part of the family(the whole “Dream killing MD” thing did not happen in this AU).

* Dream holds a very big grudge on everyone - Techno included for everything that happened to both him and the server. Techno is included since, after the escape and gaining his items back, he had him leave immediately which does not help Dream’s already fragile mental, physical and emotional state, so Dream hates him as a result.

* He leaves the server, and thrives in an island floating in the sky that took him a good amount of the year after his escape to make.

* His only access to land is through his personal Nether Portal that he coded(as Admin) to only allow hm go to and from, outside use results in nothing - no teleport to the Nether or Overworld.

* His only real companions are a cat and a baby Piglin he took in that attached itself to him after seeing him trade with Piglins, and kill the Hoglins after it. He named the child Liam, after a lover in his past. He met his cat after his escape and him leaving the Tundra, taking in the shivering poor thing. He named it Robin, after someone he cared about that no longer roamed the Earth.

* He is still the Admin, and keeps the server running, but will not return to the SMP nor offer any form of assistance or help in their endeavors, forever remaining neutral despite his grudge, and out of sight of the members.

* DreamXD and Dream are separate entities, but remain on good terms. XD usually informs Dream, when he wants to hear it, on what goes on in the SMP.

* Dream is able to sustain himself on his island due to his large wheat and carrot farm(he refuses to plant anything else, especially potatoes), and the villagers he rescued and kept safe after a raid before the completion of his island. He and the villagers are on very good terms with one another and are willing to risk themselves for him.

* Dream has a fear of axes and shears, and as such, refuses to wield them unless needed, such as getting materials for the villagers if they’re too busy and need help. He also can’t stand being near obsidian, lava or in tight spaces, immediately destroying the place he’s in or turning the lava to obsidian before mining it out/covering it. Netherite armor and creepers makes him violently react.

* Interesting fact to note: he lets other people he knows into the server to visit him, but will not disclose his information nor bring them to the outskirts where it reveals his up in the sky as a precaution if the members invite them, and asked if they knew where he was. A small headcanon is that in this AU, the Empires SMP and Hermitcraft also exist, and he personally knows the rulers and the members of Hermitcraft who are also rulers in the Empires. They know him and his situation and are willing to offer him and his companions sanctuary if need be.

* If Dream ever met a member of the SMP again, the most likely member would be Ranboo(WHAT HAPPENED IN THE STREAM DID NOT HAPPEN IN THIS AU), but was in Enderwalk, which is appropriately named Ender, who Dream is close to. An accident happened where Ranboo snapped back from his state, resulting in a screaming fest from both parties before Dream Admin’ed Ranboo thousands of blocks away. If Dream met a member of the SMP that’ll result in a good end, it will be with Callahan, Connor(he’s Dream’s son in this AU), Purpled(though it’s an if) and Alyssa due to them not being around too often and thus are still on very good terms with Dream. If anything, they’ll probably stay with Dream. On the other hand, the member that’ll have the highest chance of meeting Dream and resulting in a bad end would be either George, Sapnap or Techno, in which case they argue, fight(physically-verbal for Techno and verbally-emotional with George and/or Sapnap), and Dream spills his feelings in which case the other rebukes by saying something about his claim of “losing all attachments to himself”. This results in Dream’s state of mind deteriorating, and him sending them back to the SMP severely injured due to his outburst of Admin magic. He locks his island away forever near the Empires SMP after gaining their protection, and gives the title of “Admin” to a trusted friend that’s conditioned to stay neutral and never assist the members in their conflicts and endeavors no matter what without Dream’s knowing. Dream does still keep his Admin abilities as compensation.
