How would you have made bonkai canon?

Sorry it took me a while to see this, (even though I was super excited when I saw this -first ask I've gotten 💖 !!!) I was just super busy with Uni stuff, -then when I did see it, I ended up procrastinating for a good few days thinking about how to answer lmaooo, because I've seen how other people have come up with great ideas for this question already and then I felt too much pressure 😭.

Erm, but here I go anyway...🤸🏾‍♀️🥴😺😶‍🌫️

So, I would have them fuck in the prison world.

I know what you might be thinking -I took this long to come up with THIS.

Okay but maybe also,

I would have definitely loved to see them spend longer in the prison world together.

Kai was shown to be a smart character...MOST of the time, and I think this may have just been another example of inconsistent/ sloppy writing on the show, -but, it never made sense to me how he gave up the ghost so quickly in terms of how he didn't seem to put much effort into stopping Damon and Bonnie from finding out about his sibling murdering stuff. Like, I would have thought, since he had been watching Bonnie and Damon, he had an understanding of how they might react if/ when they found out that information, so you would think maybe he'd try to put off them finding out for as long as possible ? I mean, how hard is it to trash a few newspapers ? But idk, maybe he was thinking -"why put off the inevitable" ??

BUT, had he managed to do so. It would have been an interesting way to make Bonnie less hostile to his advances, I think she definitely would have still been deeply mistrustful of him, considering he would still be..-well, the way he is, (he has that sly, mischievous, aura) and cocky attitude, -and we know Bonnie does not typically fall for that sort of schtick.

However, not knowing he murdered a handful of his siblings probably would have left her way more open to getting to know him- even if it was just out of curiosity, and if they had taken maybe a bit longer to find out how to get out of the prison world/ or maybe Bonnie’s powers hadn’t come back fully and she needed some more time to get back to full strength in order to be able to do the spell to get them out, then Bonnie would maybe have had more moments of prison world boredom (and probably enough irritating digs from Damon) to drive her to interact with Kai more. This could have been a gateway to get them to bond a little, show more moments of tension between the two of them, he would maybe insert himself in her sessions of trying to train her magic back to full strength under the guise of wanting to be helpful but just really in order to facilitate more possible touchy moments like the chest thing lmao, he could’ve shared some gemini spells with her, etc.

And so all of this could have led to what I jokingly (fine, half), said at the start -we could have all this lead up to a super charged moment that leads to them having sex in the prison world. Maybe Bonnie won’t find out about Kai’s past until they all make it back out to the real world, which would lead to a lot of inner turmoil for her (she was the only one of her friends who could say they hadn’t fallen into bed with a mass murderer, but not anymore). When Kai merges with Luke, due to him having had more time to bond with Bonnie, I’d imagine that his hyper-fixation and guilt about Bonnie would be way more intense.

And then…there should be more to this explanation, there’s probably weird gaps in here and maybe not all of what I’ve said even makes sense because I have to admit I’m writing this whilst super tired and it’s 2am and my brain is like starting to buffer and I think this is all I have for now.

But, I really hope this answer wasn’t complete trash anon 😭, (I have no experience with writing any fics of my own, though I am interested and have started dabbling, let's just say its been a little rough lmao -though I am having fun and will keep trying at it, so we'll see what happens, I guess.😭)

Researcher Spencer Deanna Kripke! A senior researcher despite his relatively young age. His experiences comes in from biological sciences but has gained interested in other anomalous subjects since working at the Foundation. Despite not having a PhD degree he’s been called “Dr. Kripke” by others, but Researcher Kripke works just the same. Erm, autistic adhd! He’s just like me! But 6’0”, and actually nothing like me but the same mental soup (only two of them).

He also has freckles… I forgot to draw them RAGGHHH.

I’m gonna be drawing him holding hands with Iceberg (my interpretation), he doesn’t know who Clef really is but respects him, same with the other canon characters— just has a level respect to them as they’re older and more experience. Dr. Glass is his therapist.

This is mostly a rewrite for the amulet itself. *NOT* Jack Bright, who in this case died way back in that original breach involving SCP-076. And is forever dead. Other Bright family members do not exist within the Foundation at all. Jack was one of those “joined a front company” hires. And that’s it. He’s dead!

Now, onto SCP-963, or “Opals Youth”, or a better name idk.

Dr. Kripke is current holder of 963, a pendant fashioned into a necklace that grants the current main wearer immortality, youth and ability to heal wounds. While others can safely touch the pendant their wounds may heal but they’re never granted the youthfulness or immortality. Due to the name this pendant heals wounds, even the more drastic… limb-loss (even loss of important organs) back to a relatively healthy state. Regrowing limbs, or even entire organs takes the longest. The more horrific wounds tend to scar and remain but fade very slowly over time, smaller wounds scar but fade quicker, however, if the main wearer before being attached to 963 has any significant scars and/or injury (such as Dr. Kripke’s missing eye) then they won’t heal as it only heals wounds while wearing and/or fresh wounds.

A new wearer can be chosen if the pendent is taken from a at-the-moment dead wearer isn’t given the pendent within 30 days, after 30 days are up 963 will bind to a new main wearer. Dr. Kripke is the fourth holder of 963 after proving his worth. It was a “gift”, but is immortality and non aging youth really a gift?

Hello, i was just wondering what do you think of akuhigu as a ship? I mean I'm curious about how higuchi ended up being under akutagawa's direct command and why did she fall in love with that guy who constantly hits her and treats her poorly?! I really want asagiri to explore their relationship and not just show it as a one-sided crush without any explanation!!

As a ship? Erm, sorry no. As a dynamic? Heck yeah.

I'm curious as to how Higuchi ended up joining the Mafia in general. I'm already quite intrigued by the notion that she may have some connection to Mori - she's called into his office directly at the beginning of the manga, she's paralleled with Yosano in the scene where both Fukuzawa and Mori succumb to the Cannibalism Virus. There's been some thoughts on a healing type ability, given that she clearly reached out to an injured Akutagawa to do something. Also I know the story only really focuses on her crush, but she's got so much else going on that isn't ever elaborated on - she works hard ostensibly for her little sister, clearly has a "work persona", and is capable of shutting off her emotions and being cold and extremely professional during missions - remember the way she didn't even flinch at Dazai and Kunikida's ridiculousness? Honestly, I just want more Higuchi in general. She was the first Mafia character we the audience meets - why her?

And when it comes to Akutagawa, I think it's really easy to write off as "he just doesn't care about her at all" but I'm going to be honest - I don't think that's true. Akutagawa ranks above Higuchi, but she actually holds a fairly high rank herself, being his support essentially and able to command the Black Lizard - I sincerely doubt he would've kept her in such a position or have her be effectively his right hand if he didn't at least consider her very competent. 55 Minutes has them work quite well together if you're interested and haven't read it already anon, and I think it does show that he respects her at least a little.

Higuchi wasn't sure she could take out a set of guards alone so she tricked them into drinking what I'm assuming was a drugged bottle of sake to knock them out - Akutagawa thought this clever, and was genuinely amused by it

There's also moments in the series too, however brief. He does indeed apologize to her. He also intervenes shortly before Kyouka tries to slice her trigger finger - it could just be lucky timing but I like to think he intervened intentionally.

However, this does not change the fact that he demands her obedience (his rationale often being "because I said so"), and as you said, hitting her repeatedly. This is. Uncomfortable. I'll be honest I don't like Higuchi's writing in the series and this dynamic is largely why. If you're going to write a dynamic like this we could at least delve into it more and denote some interest - I know this whole set up is likely related to one of irl Higuchi's works (Jūsan'ya) where a woman is persuaded to stay in an abusive partnership because the man she is married to is upper class and provides for her lower class family. Higuchi-sensei's works I believe also have themes of unrequited love, and she chose to focus her writing on mostly lower-class people living their lives in general (at least, this is what I've seen. I'll admit I'm not especially familiar with her works.) The author did fall in love with her mentor and the love was unrequited - I'm assuming this is in part the inspiration here. Meanwhile, we know Akutagawa has this mentality of "cruel treatment gets results", which is in keeping with that ongoing theme of abusers in this series largely having good intent, but god-awful execution that is horribly unnecessary. Akutagawa is a product of his own experiences with this, which he projects onto others. I had hoped that this dynamic might've been the first one we got any change in as his character development furthers... but instead it just kind of got sidelined. ...not that I really fully trust it to be given a proper resolution anyways. This kind of stuff is very touchy to me for personal reasons, I'll be honest. :/

On the subject of Higuchi's crush though, I do think Akutagawa is actually aware. Higuchi's not exactly subtle about it, and I take his constant ignoring and changing the subject as discomfort rather than complete obliviousness. If their dynamic does end up becoming a little healthier, it would be kind of funny if it ended a similar way to irl Higuchi's crush... who grew to consider her like a sister instead. Lol. Heartbreaking for poor Higuchi, but actually rather heartwarming for Akutagawa - to admit he considers Higuchi as family? To have family other than Gin? That would be cool tbh.

Just a suggestion you may delete this haha, but when reading ‘written in the stars’ (I made my own ending haha) since it’s about duties what about Y/n having to perform her own duties and needing to marry (since it’s Bridgetown theme maybe she’s the diamond and everyone asking a hand in marriage) in which she takes someone’s hand in marriage like erm Ricky a prince (that’s the member I thot of first atm but you can change it) and she finds out she is to be wedded to him after zhanghao and her sister left, and they met each other on a regular basis to get to know each other, and eventually she falls in love with Ricky due to his sincerity. Zhanghao and her sister finds out through a letter due to y/n being escorted by her partner for marriage. When arriving for the wedding two days before, Zhanghao and Y/n met in which zhanghao suggests to run away from their duties, but due to loyalty y/n says no even though before she would’ve 100% said yes, she may state “I fell in love with a wonderful man and he loves me, and I can tell in your eyes and my older sisters’, the both of you are in love with one of another, and I would not want to ruin everything, maybe in another life it could have been us Zhanghao, but now it’s you and my older sister and it’s prince Ricky and myself”

hao coming back to y/n, suggesting to run away and forget royalty, like UGH if only he came literally a week before she met ricky then she would have done it. but it's too late, and she's made peace with her first love that could not be and the universe gifted her with a far greater love: passionate, exciting, and with someone that loves her more than duty. as if the very act of loving her is duty itself.

You were laying on your back at the end of your bed, stuffing nachos in your mouth letting 'star wars' play on the television.

Your stomach pained with cramps, which was the worst feeling to ever exist. It was that time of the month. Your period.

You let a sigh out, and leaned forward to change the movie. The sounds of lightsabers were starting to annoy you. Before you could change the channel, you heard a slight tap on your window.

"May I?" a familiar voice whispered, hanging at the edge of your window.

"It's open," you mumbled, suddenly having the urge to sit up straight and fix your clothes. Did you just notice you looked like all hell broke loose?

The masked vigilante swooped down, having crawled through. His eyes widened underneath his mask, seeing you in such a... messy state.

He took his mask off, revealing his mop of brown hair. A grin was plastered across his face. "peter parker, you adorable idiot" you thought to yourself.

"What do you want, spidey?" you mused. Peter ran a hand through his curly locks, and sauntered over to you. He put a hand on your forehead. "Is anything wrong?" you inquired.

"Nothing, love," his tone was concerned. A flock of butterflies swarmed your heart, as he called you that. You loved it when he called you that. "I should be more or less asking you that," Peter mumbled. You raised an eyebrow.

He frowned, sitting on the hem of the bed now. "Are you sick?" Peter asked.

"No," you retorted a little too quickly, "Why would I be?"

"I think I know why you've been so cranky and tired lately," Peter said, slightly pulling the sheets to reveal your heating pad, and the pool of blood beneath it from the night earlier. You just had to be too lazy to wash it, didn't you.

You hung your head back and smacked his shoulder. "I hate you," you grimaced. He shrugged aimlessly and wagged a finger in front of your face.

"You could've just told me you were on your month, y'know," Peter rolled his eyes. "I wasn't gonna overreact, I'm not some douché like Flash."

"I know you aren't," You flushed, your cheeks reddening at the fact that he knew. "I was just- I thought that you would- erm... probably.. probably avoid me-"

- May summon Stone Free and start punching the air around her, best to duck after hitting her.

- Once she realizes its a prank she starts laughing, although keep your eye out cause she’ll find a way to get you back!

“AAAH!” Jolyne yelps, closing her eyes as she’s struck with a splash of cold. Almost without realizing, Stone Free has come out, flailing its arms around. You in turn, laugh and dive for the floor, not wanting to get hit.

“Jolyne! It was a prank! I’m sorry!”

You finally say, and immediately her eyes snap open, letting her stand fade away.

“Huh?”

“It was a prank!”

Wiping away the excess water, Jolyne sighs, kneeling at your side.

“Well, ya got me!” She wraps an arm around your shoulder and pulls you close, “But I’m gonna get you back, you can bet on that~”

Ermes Costello

- Also screams when hit, except she’s quick to realize its a prank, so she starts to laugh.

- Gloria and her used to prank each other all the time, so she’s had previous instances where she’s been hit with water balloons.

- Will definitely wrangle you in a hug and swear to get you back also!

The water hits Ermes before she has a chance to react, although to your surprise her screech of horror quickly turns to giggles.

“Oh it is so on, Y/N!” She cries, startling you and revealing where you were hiding. You grumble walking over to her.

“Awwwe, and I thought I hid really well…”

She just wraps her arms around you, forcing you to smile.

“I’ve had a lotta experience with pranking, me n’ Gloria used to have water balloon fights all summer when we were kids!”

“Really now? Well, I’ll have to get you at a better time then.”

“I gotta get you back first though~”

Foo Fighters

- They love it!!! Will definitely be surprised by it, but Foo loves water, so they’re cool with it!

- Will try to see if they can drink any of the water-

They cheer, trying to salvage what’s left of the water within the colorful balloon shreds. You just shrug your shoulders and approach from your hiding spot.

“It would appear my prank worked, although you don’t seem to mind… right Foo?”

They look up, curious.

“A… prank?”

You only laugh and kneel by their side, “Sorry about that. Pranks are just a little mischief you pull on others from time to time.”

“Oh,” They reply, gazing down at the popped balloon in their hands. Then, they laugh, “Prank me again! That was really fun!”

You roll your eyes and grin, “May need some more practice with that concept, but sure!”

Narciso Anasui

- This man will freak out once he gets hit, deadass screams, covers his face, and then yells about his hair being ruined.

- When you emerge from your hiding spot laughing, he’ll groan and refuse to talk until you hand him a towel.

- Get super overdramatic about it though and he’ll lovingly begrudgingly hug you and let out a laugh. 

“Y/N!!! MY GORGEOUS HAIR!”

He screeches, and you can’t help but burst into a fit of laughs, quickly pulling a towel to hand him.

You do so, and as he wipes his bright pink locks and groans. You slouch against his shoulder, awaiting a reaction, but he turns away and pours.

You just roll your eyes and give a dramatic sigh.

“Wooow Anasui, you’re so mean! It was just a harmless prank!”

You say, batting your eyelashes. You feel his lips twitch upward a bit, and you smirk, knowing you’ve won.

“That was unprompted and I did not like it.” He states, but then turns and takes you into his arms, “But you’re also mean like me so I’ll let it slide.”

Weather Report

- Gets hit and is just... completely chill. Like you peek from around the corner and he’s just standing there dripping wet.

- When you tell him it was a prank he gives you a small smile, asking, “Is that so? What’s a prank?”

- Sooo you offer him a towel and explain to him, but its all good cause he can take the joke.

“Uhhh... Weather?” You call, popping out from the corner. He’s soaked from head to toe, the several balloons you chucked must’ve hit him.

- Will be a bit sad when he finds out it was a prank, but he’ll feel better when you apologize and give him a towel.

“Oh my gosh! Emporio! Are you alright?” You question, rushing over and whipping a towel around his shoulders, he rubs his eyes and frowns.

DILUC was who you'd been taught to serve almost since you could remember.

Your parents worked for master Crepus, and therefore, Diluc was introduced to you as your future master, the person you were destined to serve and help as much as you could. You never had any qualms about this. From the time you were introduced as kids, you became best friends, running around the winery together and pulling lighthearted pranks on Kaeya.

You grew up together, happy around your two best friends, until tragedy struck, and Diluc left Mondstadt altogether.

It wasn't so bad, tending to Dawn Winery without him. It was easy, actually. Adelinde was a good boss, strict but kind, and Moco and Hillie were fun enough to be around. Your parents retired during that time, choosing to live in one of the houses surrounding the winery. You completed the work, helping Elzer and the rest of those who were keeping the winery running in Diluc's absence. But you couldn't help but miss him anyway.

And then, in the middle of the night one night, a few years later, suddenly, the master of the house was back.

He was different than the best friend you'd known and loved. Oh, and man, was he hot? Something had happened in the four years he'd been away. Diluc had grown. He was taller, more muscular, the tiniest hint of stubble on his chin.

Yeah, you stared. Your jaw dropped as soon as you realized who had just entered the winery. For a moment, your eyes met those of the man you'd once known better than anyone, and a spark of recognition flashed in them before he turned away quickly, coughing out a small flame.

And then Adelinde was upon him. You didn't see him until the next day.

It was awkward going back to getting to know each other. It was even more awkward when both of you tried to sneak glances at the other without being noticed. Diluc had changed since he'd left, but so had you, and this didn't go unrecognized. Occasionally, when you were trying to subtly check him out, you'd find him doing the same, your eyes would meet, and both of you would flush, cough, or try to hide it with a laugh or something.

The tension was high in Dawn Winery, and the maids were getting sick of it. They noticed every look, every flush. They noticed how you would take a few extra seconds trying to compose yourself before entering Diluc's room to give him his meals. They noticed how he would ask for you specifically to help him with things that could be done by anyone. They noticed that where there used to be just companionship, there was clearly something more beginning to take root.

And they took it upon themselves to do something about it.

It was early morning when Moco and Hillie burst into your room, ranting about some thing or another. You couldn't make heads or tails of what they were saying until one of them burst out "Master Diluc is in trouble and he need your help right away!"

Worried, you change out of your pajamas as quickly as possible and follow them out of the winery and all the way to the city, where they lead you to the Angel's Share, which shouldn't have even been open at this time of day.

"He's in there!" Hillie huffed, panting, "There's someone giving him trouble, I think! I heard yelling!"

"He's pretty bi- uh, strong, so, shouldn't he be able to take care of that himself?" You asked, confused.

"It doesn't matter! Get in there!" And you were extremely unceremoniously pushed into the tavern, the door locking behind you.

Diluc was not getting trouble from anyone. Or rather, there really wasn't anyone in there apart from him. He turned around from where he was polishing glasses, looking at you in confusion.

"They told me someone was harrassing you? And you needed help? And - wait, did they lock me in here?"

You shook the door handle. They had locked you in here.

Diluc chuckled slightly, a sound that had become pretty rare these days. "I think they've just locked us in a tavern together, Mr. Butler."

MR WHAT. You coughed hard, trying to hide your face between your back and the door. He did that on purpose.

"What. what. WHY. LET ME OUT OF HERE," you yelled, banging against the door. you could hear giggling and a high-five on the outside. Frustrated, you let your forehead rest against the wood.

"TALK ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS!! WE'RE NOT LETTING YOU OUT UNTIL YOU TALK ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS!" you heard from outside. You flushed harder. Absolutely unbelievable. This was definitely not in your job description.

You heard Diluc sigh from behind the bar, and turned around to face him. You supposed if this was anything, it was a chance to get this over with. You made your way back over to the bar, pulled up a stool, and sat down.

"I-" you started, at the same time Diluc took a breath to begin talking. You slapped your forehead. "Never mind. You go first."

"I have... feelings for you," Diluc confessed, eyes staring at the bar between you.

"WHAT." you couldn't stop it from coming out. You slapped your hand across your mouth, mumbling a muffled "sorry." Diluc raised an eyebrow at you, no longer looking quite as uncomfortable.

"It's a bit difficult to decipher them, I'll be honest," he continued, reaching out across the bar to take your hand in his. "It's much more complicated than before I left. I'm sorry I left you. I'm back now, and I think, well, I think it's safe to say that... I love you."

You stared at him, mouth slightly open, momentarily winded and unable to speak. He's joking, part of you thought, he's pulling a prank on me, this can't be real. But the way Diluc looked at you nullified any doubts you might have had. There was nothing but adoration in his amber eyes, and his brow betrayed just the littlest bit of worry that perhaps you didn't feel the same.

"For real?" you asked him, barely a whisper.

"For real," he answered, letting the corners of his mouth quirk upwards just the tiniest bit. "I've loved you since I left, I think."

"I love you too," you let out, finally, the weight of your feelings lifting from your shoulders. Diluc leaned against the bar and stretched towards you to place a gentle kiss on your forehead. "Good. I'm glad."

"This would have been really awkward if i didn't, huh?"

"I'm not sure I would ever be able to live it down, if I'm being honest."

Your moment was interrupted by cheers from outside the door. Diluc pulled away from you and quickly strode towards the door, retrieving a key from inside his pocket and unlocked the door. Moco and Hillie fell silent immediately, and you could just barely make out the terror on their faces from behind Diluc's back.

"Wait," you said, brow furrowing, "you could have just let us out the entire time?"

"Well, yes," Diluc admitted, "but you wouldn't have left with me as my boyfriend if I'd just done that."

For all new recruits, it was mandatory for you to have a psychological evaluation, as well as a gadget test with R&D. The man who was doing the testing with your gadget was a man with Doc for a callsign, and his name was Gustave Kateb. You thought it was ironically generic, and kind of cute, that the humanitarian combat medic that took lives to save others landed himself with such a bland one. You have yet to see the doctor himself, so you were excited he would be the one you did your R&D testing with.

Once you walked into the facility, you looked around and saw what everyone else was doing. A few other operators you have yet to meet were tinkering with their own gear and you couldn’t wait to see how everyone else’s tech worked. “Hey! Who let you in here?” someone asked. You turned and looked down at the woman who was speaking with you. “Oh, I let myself in here. I’m here to meet Gustave for my gadget testing.” you say, putting your arms behind your head. The smaller woman let out a shocked gasp as she looked up at you, “I’m so sorry, I didn’t think you were going to be here this early today. Follow me real quick.” she said, stepping out of the facility.

You then followed after her, and you were a bit surprised at how fast she was walking despite having such short legs. “Where exactly are you taking me?” you asked, finally catching up to her. After a bit of walking in silence, she stopped right in front of the infirmary. “Gustave is in here right now, per the usual. It’s been a while since we’ve had another medic, so he’s a bit excited. I’m Siu Mei, by the way.” she said, looking up at you and giving you a smile. “Same to you, thanks for leading me to the good doctor.” you thank, giving her a nod and a smile.

Siu Mei nodded back and walked back to R&D, and you decided to knock on the door before entering the infirmary. You see Gustave facing away from you, looking through some files he had in his hand. You move away from the door and lean against the wall, crossing your arms as you stare at him. His hair was slicked back with a small strand hanging off the right side of his face. Clearing your throat, you watch him immediately whip around towards you. “You’ve got a new patient, Doc. Pleasure to meet you.” you say, pushing off the wall and walking towards him. “Mon dieu qu'il est grand...erm, a bit early to your appointment now, aren’t you monsieur Y/N?” Gustave said, cracking a friendly smile and meeting you halfway to shake your hand.

Once he was closer up to you, you looked down at him and saw how much shorter he was. You stood at a towering 6 foot, 6 inches (198.12cm), and you assumed he stood at a good 5 foot, 10 inches (177.8cm), “You know what they say, ‘Early bird catches the worm.’ and I much prefer when the worm is you.” you flirt, winking at him. Gustave flustered a bit and cleared his throat, looking away from him. “Yes, I suppose you’re correct about that. Th-The first part, of course.” he stammered. Letting out a hearty laugh, you pat his shoulder, “Now, now, don’t get all flustered. Getting flustered makes your hands less steady, and steady hands are what make you so special.” you say, keeping up that friendly composure. “I’m not flustered, I know nothing of such a thing.” Gustave said, rolling his eyes.

You let go of his shoulder and put your hands up in surrender, “Alright little man, no need to get all worked up.” you say. “Little man? How old are you, hm?” Gustave said, furrowing his brows. “I’m thirty-six. And you, petit homme?” you tease. “Tsk…I’m forty-two.” Gustave answered, crossing his arms. “Ah, un vieux petit bonhomme!” you jest, grin widening at him. “Wha- I’m not that old! It’s just a six year difference between the two of us!” he exclaimed, now fully glaring at you. It was here where he realized you were half speaking in French, and his eyes went wide. “You…didn’t hear what I said, right?” he asked. “Oh no, I most definitely heard you. I prefer to go on a first date before someone comments on my size, by the way.” you say, biting your lip.

As he flustered once again, Gustave reached up and smacked you with the files he still had in his hand. “Idiot! That isn’t how I meant it!” he exclaimed. You burst out laughing once again “I’m kidding, I’m kidding! So, what are we going to do now? I’m practically free for the whole day, and if you need help lifting anything, consider my strength, endurance and stamina yours.” you offer a bit more seriously. Gustave sighed, putting his empty hand on his forehead out of shame. “Well, I do need a bit of help taking a few supplies to another facility. It’s only three boxes.” he said. “Sounds good to me, I’m here for your support.” you say and smile warmly now.

Gustave relaxed a bit and smiled, “Alright, follow me then. I’ll hand you the boxes and lead the way.” he said, walking further into the infirmary in a corner where there were boxes stacked. You watched as he bent over a bit before looking away, “I saw you turn away you know. Good, I admire the extra respect.” he said as he turned around to give you a box. You readily took it and chuckled nervously, “Yeah, I looked by accident. Sorry about that, Gustave.” you apologize. “Good on you for also apologizing. Merci.” he said, handing you a second box. “Yep. That uh, cocky persona isn’t much. I’m really respectful of people.” you say sheepishly, chuckling softly. “Ah I know. As long as you aren’t completely complacent of yourself like a few of our fellow operators.” Gustave said, handing you the final box.

You gave him a nod, and followed him out of the infirmary to the halls wherever he went. “I’m not, I’m always aware of my surroundings and am on edge almost all the time. I’ve only ever let my guard down once. Wrong person, right time.” you said, frowning at him. “I see, apologies if that was a bit of a touchy subject.” Gustave said. You simply shrugged, “Story for another day?” you suggest, looking at him. “I’d be more than willing to listen to it.” he said, giving you a warm and sincere smile.

On your way to the other facility with Gustave, you made sure to ask him about what made him want to become a combat medic, while he did the same with you. “Some of us just do not have the luxury of health and safety, and I’ll go through hell to deliver that care.” you say. “That’s rather brave,” Gustave crossed his arms, nodding subtly, “and I assume that’s what you got your callsign Valiant.” he said. “Exactly. My desire for medical safety drives all my senses and my need to find like-minded medics.” you say. “I agree, and I’m willing to help you with that someday.” Gustave said, opening the door to the faculty you had finally arrived at.

You walked through the door and waited for him to walk in after you to get to the room he needed to leave it all in. The both of you didn’t need to walk for too long, as you stopped just at the 4th door to the left. Gustave unlocked it and led you in, and once you bent over a bit to set them down, gently gripping your arm before letting go. “Bend your knees a bit,” he suggested. You nodded and did as he said, and caught him quickly looking away, “You can always look, you know? I don’t mind if it’s just you, you can even touch it.” you tease, standing up straight.

Gustave sighed and shook his head, “Let's just get to R&D for your evaluation,” he said. “Sure thing, little man.” you tease, causing him to smack your arm. “Tais-toi et marche déjà, imbécile.” he scolded. “Don’t be so rough Gustave, I’ll be forced to lift you up and pin you to a wall.” you say, gently pushing him. “Oh come on, you’re just as annoying as James when you’re like this.” Gustave said. “Sorry, sorry. I just feel a bit more carefree for once, I wonder what makes you different, petit.” you joke. “Ugh…consider me the opposite.” Gustave jokes back, rolling his eyes. “Aw, you like me already! Don’t deny it, denial isn’t a cute look on you.” you say, wrapping your right arm around the back of his neck and bringing him close. “Maybe I do. Sometimes personalities like the front you put up are kind of endearing.” Gustave said, bringing his left arm up to pat your back.

Rohan is a jackass who cares. In the beginning, he’s very private and stand-offish, but he does warm up to you eventually, though he’s still nicer in private than he is in public. He claims this is because he’s a “celebrity” and can’t have his fans see you too close together yada, yada. It’s bullshit and you know it, but you have the feeling it’s because he’s not used to people being close to him. 

Yes, he does have a binder dedicated to paintings, drawings, sketches, etc. all for you. Some are a little on the artistically lewd side, but most of them are of your hands holding something or your smile, your face and shoulders. Some of them he asked you to model for, others he quickly sketched down while you weren’t paying attention and then finished later.

When he’s not holed up inside, he enjoys walking down to either parts of Morioh where he can people watch or down to the park where he can study wildlife (and maybe draw you playing with ducks). 

You are literally never bored in his house. He has every book under the earth and so many loose painting supplies that he painfully lets you use to fool around. (Though let’s be honest, He likes that you take an interest in his job and would be more than happy to give you tips.)

You know what? Rohan is a backseat artist. He watches every stroke you make over your shoulder and tells you maybe you should move the hand this way to make it more natural or add some light shading here to make it dynamic. It may come off as a little pretentious at first, but if you keep with it, he’ll notice the improvement and (occasionally) tell you how good you’re doing while being a total blushing mess.

    You sat in the window seat, knees up with your back against the wall. Resting on your thighs was a sketchbook. Currently, you were just idly drawing lines of shading onto a face. Rohan himself was also busy colouring in his most recent page, though every now and then he would catch himself looking up at your silhouette, lit up by the light in some kind of halo effect.

     Finally, he caved in to his curiosity. Setting down his pencils, he strode over to you. You didn’t notice until his face manifested itself over your shoulder. Startled, you jumped, causing your pencil to make a long line on your artwork.
