Hear me out everyone!!! What if Venti is ACTUALLY a fox? Or rather... he WAS one!!!

Evidence:

He's really familiar with the animals of Mondstadt, including hanging out with the foxes. And guess what? Little Sage from the gate says he's seen Venti talk to them before!

He apparently knows Guuji Yae of Inazuma, who's a kitsune! Coincidence? I think not.

He really loves apples. You know who else really loves apples? FOXES!!! And in the book "A Drunkards Tale" a wind spirit specifically chooses the form of a fox to get apples. And not only that, but they also turn those apples into the first wine! So foxes are known to have explicit connections to apples and wine, both things we know our local bard enjoy.

Foxes are incredibly clever animals, and in "The Fox in the Dandelion Sea" the protagonist teaches a fox the common tongue. They pick up on languages very quickly. You know what Venti apparently knows? HILICHURLIAN! And I don't think anyones ever seen him around with Ella Musk. What if, as a clever fox, he picked up on the language from the hilichurls themselves?!?!?

In "The Fox In The Dandelion Sea"s last chapter, the mother fox begs Barbatos to turn them into humans. We all know Venti isn't Barbatos, but he sure puts in a lot of effort styling his hair like him. What if he's so devout BECAUSE the anemo archons turned him human and gave him a vision!?!? And think about it, it would explain why he showed up out of nowhere! Because he was a fox before!!!

Venti likes dandelion wine right? Well if he lived in the dandelion sea, of course he'd like something from dandelions!!!

You ever notice how when Venti uses his vision, he makes feathers instead of dandelions like Acting Grandmaster Jean? Well what do foxes eat? BIRDS!!! What do birds have? FEATHERS!!!

With these seven pieces of evidence, I rest my case. The bard we all know and love was a fox, whom Lord Barbatos turned human!

Also, I didnt expect the rumoyrs to be true but it seems that all Fontaine characters do the dolphin jump INCLUDING traveller when they're Hydro oriented. Very bizzare, like they learned to swim perfectly out of no where.

The anxiety of setting foot in water ever time is going to eat me alive until I forget this is only in Fontaine and I run 0 energy into a body of water deeper than my ankles and freaking die in Inazuma.

Galveston sea wall! I imagine when they first built this part of the sea wall there was actual beach out in front and over time disappeared. This happens because a sea wall can disrupt the natural pattern of beach replenishment causing passive erosion to happen. Also, even a properly maintained sea wall isn’t made to last more than 50 years making it a weak sustainable option. We need to be looking to implement strong sustainable options to help extend our coastal communities. Work with the Ocean, not against it!

This was a frustrating day. It was busy at the park and I was working in a satellite booth. By the time I heard about the turtle and then was given permission to go see it it had JUST entered the water. I get tired of people saying I have the dream job. Yes it is on the beach and I do love that part but at the same time I still feel apart from it especially with all the pain I'm in physically now.

"Dandelion, Dandelion, ride the wind to a faraway land," The story began, as it always did, and the memories of your favorite story flooded back once you turned the page. It was evening in Windrise, underneath the titanic oak tree the people of Mondstadt associated The Falcon of the East with. Its broad leaves had become something of a comfort for you whenever your travels brought you back to your first home, where you had awoken in Teyvat. You paused from rereading the anthology clutched in your hands to laugh. No, calling Mondstadt your first home would be doing it a great injustice. It has, and always will be, your only home. It sounded ironic, calling this place your home when Barbatos himself declared this the city of freedom and never remained so rooted to one spot, one home. Or that’s how you saw it, anyway. You called this your home, but it and your entire life remained a constant and forever.

What would he think, you wondered to yourself. Actually, he would have just teased you, the answer was clear as the stars above Teyvat. Barbatos… Venti seemed to have no greater pleasure in this world than popping as many of your veins as possible in a single sitting. You loved that though. No matter how turned around the Anemo Archon made you, how many jabs and jokes were played at your expense, they always seemed so soft and playful. He would sound of the softest wind-chimes whenever he laughed and you could never stay upset. And if you had the right mind to jab back at him his laughter only grew before both of you ended up in a fit of laughter. It reminded you of your sibling that still evades you no matter how far and wide you search for them. That is why you were here, underneath the tree and down on your luck. Zhongli may be a retired Archon, but even he couldn’t make the search instant and you understood that. His connections asked you to wait for more information, and thus you found yourself back in Windrise with a copy of your favorite book at your side.

“The Fox in the Dandelion Sea? How odd, I never considered that your type of read.” Lisa murmured one day while she approached your table with two plates of food. It was return day for the books lent out of the library, and she somehow always managed to rope you into tagging along. It was her turn to pay and you had taken to reading your book in the time you were apart. The witch eyed the leather binding, worn in places along the spine where you rested your palm against, but the foiled pages within were kept in immaculate condition. “But I can tell it is very beloved. That’s so hard to find these days.” You finally snapped yourself out of the passage you were reading to eye a beaming Lisa.

“Ah… about that, interesting story…” You trailed off, feeling a heat rise to your cheeks as your fingers drew anxious circles into the leather. Lisa immediately cooed and plopped down onto her chair beside you. There was no way out of this now. “It was a gift. Or, almost. A friend of mine showed me around the city one night. He kept raving about how he thought of me when recalling this story, but it just made me angry at first.” Lisa quirked her head to one side, almost frowning.

“Oh?”

“I skimmed the last book before reading the first ten. The ending left a sour taste in my mouth.” There was a resigned sound coming from your friend and you shook your head quickly. “I gave it a shot, nonetheless. And it changed everything entirely for me. The story is beautiful, and bittersweet. It’s hard for two worlds to collide, I mean just look at me. Mondstadt is what I know and love, no matter how much I travel it feels… strange to be away from home.”

You smiled softly as you came back to the present. Visiting past memories that are full of happiness and friendship is what you did most days. Everyone has a life, people they care about, and your life was pulled from normalcy, thrown off course, and shattered all your preconceptions. When you were with friends, that truth was easy to hide. When everyone was off with their responsibilities, the truth came crashing down onto you. And you felt much too imposing to ask to tag along. You sighed softly, looking at the spaces in between each leaf that hung above you as they rustled in the breeze. At least the wind was always there for you. Closing your eyes, you nearly fell asleep underneath the massive oak, but that was nothing new. You spent more time here than your own room offered to you by the Knights of Favonius during your stay.

“…?” You opened your eyes as something distinctly sounded like a voice with no words, finding a small wind sprite directly above you. You had spent many nights under this tree, but never have you seen this one. You offered a small smile.

“Hello there, I don’t think I’ve seen you around before.” You spoke softly. The sprite floated upside-down, watching you with two small pinpricks of eyes. Something about the carefree floating spirit just made you laugh softly. “But it is lovely to meet you.” Satisfied, the sprite flitted down to sit on the book at your lap. “Ah! You’re wondering what I’m reading? It’s my favorite book, The Fox in the Dandelion Sea.” To clear the way for you, the sprite switched positions to rest atop your shoulder. It tilted its head just a bit and you were reminded of Lisa in that gesture.

“You want me to read to you? I…” A moment of pause came from you and you swallowed thickly. “I… I can’t. I’m sorry. The only person I’ve read to before, you see, showed this to me in the first place. And the night before I left to travel across Teyvat, I read the first chapter aloud…” Unable to control the sudden pain you felt in your chest and eyes, you clutched the fabric of your clothes and stop thinking about the book’s history. “I never saw them again and… I’m afraid someone else will leave if I dare utter another word aloud.” The first droplets of tears collided onto the parchment and you quickly closed the book shut before your unplanned show of Hydro could damage anything. The sprite’s little feathers drooped at those words, eyes looking down. The wind that had been quiet shook awake once again, lifting the droplets of tears into the air. You inhaled deeply.

“The wind amongst the branches feels good, I love the way it smells… That’s what we say when we’re down on our luck, right?” You spoke to the wind, wondering if it would carry those tears to Venti in some poetic manner. You wanted both for it to happen and not. Clutching the book close to your chest, you pulled your knees up to lean against. “I miss you so much Venti… Had I been born a fox, I could transform into a dandelion and float to you. I just want to see you.” The ground you were staring at stopped shifting, the wind had stopped. And then it suddenly blew harder than it had ever before. You could hear it howling against your eardrums, deafening, frigid, and powerful. You had closed your eyes, hugging your precious book close, the only physical memory you had of Venti. You could handle the sorrow of the universe, but not the possibility of losing him.

It was then that something squeezed your shoulders, urging you to open your eyes. Bright cerulean ones blinked back at you, braids that ended in an ombre blue dancing wildly around them. Your eyes welled up in more tears.

Dancing with Morax, the Geo Archon has got to be one of the most romantic things to happen, especially when the setting is just right.

He was sitting with you eating dinner at The Ocean Pearl. The lights around you were a soft yellow— warm and relaxing to be under.

The dinner had an array of all the things you loved to eat and some Liyue specialties, of course. And you were stuffed after eating.

But, he looked as if he was waiting for something.

After sometime, you definitely felt a little sleepy from all that food and was about to tell Zhongli you both needed to go home soon when he stops you.

The Ocean Pearl was empty, no customers were there except the waiters and waitresses putting away the dishes from the other tables—

The music of opera singing was so soft in the background playing from a radio. He stood up from his chair, his tall build already way above you as you were sitting down.

He extends his hand out to you to take, inviting you for a dance. You took his hand and your eyes became heavier the moment you got to rest your head on his chest as you swayed against the music.

You tried to fight the sleep, you tried, and he can feel you are trying to when he pulls your face to look up at him, and he presses a long sweet and deep kiss on your lips. You let your eyes close. He was like morphine, or the fresh air in the morning that makes you want to go back to bed. He was so gentle with his movements so as to not jolt you more awake.

One of the finest bases for a salad is young heart-shaped leaves from the lime tree, the very best being from the small-leaved lime (Tilia cordata), which are hairless. These should be shiny and lime green in colour. They taste just like lettuce – surprisingly so – but I think they hold salad dressing better and don’t wilt so fast. They are exceptionally good in sandwiches.

I also like the very youngest leaves of hawthorn ( Crataegus monogyna); again, they need to be a vibrant, new green and just a few centimetres long. The leaves are alternate, as opposed to opposite, so borne along the stem in an alternate spiral, with five to seven lobes and teeth on the tips. Hawthorn leaves are said to protect the heart both emotionally and physically, and are known to be good for circulation. They taste fresh and grassy green and their pretty serrated edges make them attractive for salads.

I cannot get enough of dandelions  (Taraxacum officinalis) at this time of year. Every part is edible and packed full of good stuff: they are rich in potassium, for instance. They are bitter, like an endive, but sometimes more so, thus you need to go for the very youngest inner leaves, again lime-green, indicating new growth. If the bitterness is too much, soak them in salted water for 10 minutes or so. In salads, I am also mad about the flower stems, which taste a bit like Italian chicory (puntarelle) and can be treated exactly the same way. You only want the new stems of flower buds or flowers; by the time the plant is setting seed the stem will be full of chewy fibres. I chop the stems diagonally into segments, salt them well and then dress them in oil and little else. They are very good with chopped boiled eggs and a little finely diced red onion.

Chickweed (Stellaria media) is another excellent base, with a flavour not too dissimilar to that of corn salad. It may well be in flower now, but if it is growing somewhere damp enough, will still be tender. It is low-growing and mat-forming, with delicate little egg-shaped leaves and tiny white flowers.

The wild garlic (Allium ursinum) season is almost over, but in cooler spots you may find unripe seed to pick. These will appear on the ends of the seedheads and are ball-shaped, in clusters of three. They should be bright green in colour, rather than yellow. They give an intensely sweet garlic burst and are particularly good turned into salt (mix equal parts coarse sea salt and seeds), which will preserve into winter. This is very good in salad dressings.

Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) and perennial wall rocket (Diplotaxis tenuifolia) are garden escapees that are often found in abundance in cities and towns along paths and walls and are excellent for bulking out a salad.

Sheep’s sorrel (Rumex acetosella) is another good one, though you want it growing somewhere damp so that it is succulent. In dry spots, it gets very tough. It has oblong, arrow-shaped leaves and tall spikes of pink flowers. If it has flowered (which is likely right now) and gone to seed, steal these if they are still bright pink and fleshy. Scattered through a salad, they give a pleasing burst of lemon.

The unopened flowers of narrow-leaved or ribwort plantain (Plantago lanceolata) can be briefly steamed until tender, allowed to cool and dressed with a vinaigrette and tossed into a mixed salad or treated a little like asparagus, although they taste surprisingly like mushrooms. The leaves are long, narrowly oval with veins running parallel from the base to the top. The flower spikes are square and the unopened flowers are pine cone-shaped.

Likewise, the unopened flowers of oxeye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare), which looks like an oversized lawn daisy and grows to 60cm high, can be briefly steamed and marinated, or pickled like capers. The white petals are lovely scattered in for some colour. The leaves are also edible, although they are quite bitter and perfumed by the time the plant flowers. If you can find them before then, they are much more desirable.

A better option are the leaves of the common or lawn daisy (Bellis perennis), which can be used raw, where they have an interesting fleshy texture, or cooked, which is my preferred method. The leaves are paddle-shaped and slightly hairy. Once cooked, they soak up dressing in a very pleasing manner. The flowers can be eaten too – they don’t taste of much, but look pretty.

Finally, there are excellent vinegars to be made from creamy white umbels of common elder (Sambucus nigra), the long, tubular yellow flowers of common honeysuckle (Lonicera periclymenum) and palest pink petals of dog rose (Rosa canina). All can be found in hedgerows right now. The adventurous can make these vinegars from scratch, by fermenting the flowers in sugar and water, but that takes time, so for a quicker solution use good-quality white wine vinegar or raw cider vinegar and infuse just the flowers (never the stems) for several days for a deliciously perfumed dressing.

Some of these are may be fairly region specific, but several also happen to be invasive in a lot of places, making them great foraging options. School got me worn out so here's my team dynamic HCs

This man is so tired, Archons please let him rest

Has to pick up his week's paperwork from Jean every Monday when we go to Mondstadt to buy food supplies and stuff before fighting Andrius, gets to work on it while Diluc and the Andrius team go at it

Actually is the person who keeps the whole party safe, has pulled Xingqiu away from ledges while he's reading more times than he can count, makes sure everyone has food at all times, and keeps the schedule in line

Has a flask of Death After Noon that he keeps on him, has to actively keep it away from Xingqiu because the kid's curious

He is so tired he is the reason the party only gets up to leave at like noon because he sleeps in

Thinks he's good enough at hiding his anxiety that no one else has noticed

He is not, they've all noticed him shaking visibly at high speeds in 90-degree weather and the kids will do their best to avoid fraying his nerves on a bad day

Very kind to Xingqiu and Ayaka, kinda like a cool uncle? Buys them things even though they can afford it

Kinda lets the kids do what they want and chat while he keeps them safe and the whole party on their way

Absolute tank, balances his skillset out so he can manage most threats alone, no one has to get hurt, they can just travel, it's fine it's fine

Pretends to casually bring up stuff the kids want to do (after meticulously making sure the party would be in the right place at the right time)

"Xingqiu, we have time to kill, care to show us to the Wanwen Bookhouse? We can see if they have the next issue in that book series you're always reading! :)"

"Ayaka, you wanted to try some Liyuen cuisine, didn't you? We have a dear friend who just so happens to be a chef at Wanmin Restaurant! And since we're in Liyue anyway, we should swing by, shouldn't we?"

He tries his best to find something Diluc wouldn't mind doing too! Usually, Diluc turns him down but Kaeya has scored on occasion!

"C'mon Diluc, you can't have lost all your taste for reading, right? I hear Inazuma has some interesting books nowadays, what with all the isolation..."

Basically, he just tries his best and is so tired please let him rest

This man is angry all the time but he doesn't mean to be. He's just unnerved because he's basically back to hunting Fatui in other nations. He just isn't alone this time and the Fatui aren't the focus

He's so annoyed that they don't leave until Kaeya wakes up, actively in denial about the fact that he himself wakes up only an hour earlier and everyone else is waiting for much longer

Runs right into danger all the time please someone tell this man to calm down he is the reason they need so much food

Does and takes a whole lot of damage at the same time and it stresses Kaeya out so much

Was not Pleased to find out he'd be stuck traveling with Kaeya, puts up with it because he can't bring himself to turn down the Traveler's request. Because in his eyes they're just a kid trying to find their family and he really can't turn down their plea for help in

Gets along surprisingly well with Xingqiu, they both enjoy reading, and often recommend books to each other! Diluc has no idea Xingqiu wrote Legend of a Sword, but the only reason for that is that he literally forgot the book name

"Hmm... in Mondstadt we have this book, The Fox and the Dandelion Sea? For a traditional Mondstadt fairytale, it does remind me of Inazuma, funnily enough. There are versions of the book that are watered down for younger children, but if you have the time I'd recommend the full novelization."

"Tales From the Waves? No, I haven't read that. Is it good?" ... "A novelization of an old ship captain's life? That does sound interesting... I'll pick up a copy when I can"

Gets along well with Ayaka as well, they both appreciate the arts and such so they talk about that

"In Mondstadt we don't have nearly as many festivals as they do in Inazuma... but when we do they're quite the occasion, and very dear to people's hearts. There would be rioting in the streets if the Windblume Festival was postponed..."

"Oh Mond has its fair share of dance traditions, but they fell to be a staple of the Lawrence rule, so not many traditional dances remain... although if you wish to learn more about them you could ask Kaeya to introduce you to the Knight's Recconacance Captain. She doesn't like me very much"

Is the one person who actually doesn't realize that Kaeya is anxious All The Time, literally could watch him shake uncontrollably as Venti walks by and think it was his Vision acting up, he has all the pieces to put the puzzle together but has lost interest in it

Top ten reasons the party gets sidetracked, number one: Xingqiu finding a book and getting so into it that he doesn't notice people

Actually besties with Ayaka he thinks she's really cool!

Top ten reasons why Kaeya actually gets to sleep as long as he does, number one: Xingqiu jumping up and yanking Diluc's hair when he tries to wake him up

Infodumps about his books to the whole party while they're eating dinner regardless of if they're listening or not (they are, they always are)

Pulls out relevant trivia out of nowhere?? Like they'll be stuck in some ruins and Xingqiu just

"Hey, you know this specific style of ruins are known to be built with metal hatches that always lead to escape routes :)"

Or like

"Oh yeah, the coloration in the animals is different here because the plants in Inazuma so often have purple and blue pigmentation, and Inazuma is so naturally isolated, that the animals adapted to get their pigments partially from the foliage!"

And no one knows how or why he knows this much but he Does??

Also, knows everyone's favorite bird for some reason and talks about them, why? Idk I think he'd like birds!!

"A peacock? Oh, I've never even seen one of those! I hear they're lovely, but a little noisy. Sometimes we get feathers imported for design reference at the Feyun Commerce Guild though!"

"Umbertail Falcon, right? Ohh I hear they can be very loyal, right? Ahh, so that's why yours flys down to check in on you? That's lovely! Owls? Oh yeah, those are cool birds, you know their feathers are fanned out just right so they're entirely silent while flying!"

"Herons? Oh yeah, that's what your title is, right? Graceful... I think they're more stealthy, very good at waiting to strike. That's how they hunt, you know? Just being patient and stealthy, then striking. That's also why they're so graceful standing there all the time!"

Bummed that he's the only person in the party without a bird as his constellation tbh, but he's alright with it because he's got books!!

Mentioned Albedo and Kaeya almost choked on his food, Xingqiu thought this was hilarious

Routinely plays pranks on Diluc and occasionally manages to pull a deez joke on Kaeya, leaves Ayaka alone with the pranks though because he knows she's new to all of this

Oh this poor girl, Lumine just dropped her off with Mondstadt's most dysfunctional siblings and a kid who reads at the speed of light and said have fun

Really gets along well with Xingqiu!! Having someone with a somewhat similar background is definitely a relief, especially because Kaeya and Diluc intimidate her, what with them arguing most of the time they interact

She recognizes the anxiety in Kaeya (because she also has it) so she's a little more comfortable approaching him because of that

She's happy to talk about Inazuma's ruins and is fascinated by Kaeya bringing up similar ruins in Mondstadt and Liyue

She really appreciates him remembering what she's interested in and making time in the day for it!

Diluc on the other hand?? She has... some idea how to talk to him? But?? He is either aggressive or glaring off into the distance at all times, and she's been around long enough to know that he doesn't mean to be like that but it's still unnerving to her

However, she Can talk to him! She is still a little confused because he constantly sounds so grumpy, but she's realized that he's actually really good at listening, and is absolutely willing to talk about Mondstadt traditions! Because she does really like to learn about other nations

Plus, she can go to Xingqiu to answer most of her questions!

"Xingqiu, I- I hope this isn't an odd question, but ah... how exactly do you get used to Kaeya and Diluc? I don't think I've quite figured it out yet..?"

"So in Liyue... the Merchant stalls are on the docks? Like Ritou but it's all on the docks? Interesting..."

"You're the second born of the Feyun Commerce Guild? Oh! Forgive me, I thought you were the eldest, my brother handles most international relations..."

It was really hard for her to adjust to the team, just because of how ragtag it is most of the time, but she's got it by now!

She actually kind of likes the scrappy chaos! She hasn't completely gotten used to it all but she finds it like kind of a break from having to uphold her image at all times

1 - What’s their alignment?

I always found it hard to give characters and people set alignments because they feel like such tight boxes. Especially with characters like Sandrone who doesn't even remember the things he's doing are actually against his will. His opinion is discarded and if he expresses it he's under threat of reprogramming. His actions yell Lawful Evil, following the Tsaritsa's law and will without regard for who it hurts. But his morals are much different. He falls somewhere on the neutral scale, I'm just not sure where.

3 - What are their hobbies and interests? Do they have any particular “favorites” (food, books, and so on)?

-finger guns- he likes to read. I mentioned in the past his favourite book is The Fox in the Dandelion Sea and that his favourite food is the Mondstadt Hashbrown. But all in all, his favourite thing in the world would be to read all day every day uninterrupted. He also likes crafting(aka fixing his mask with Kintsugi because Scaramouche broke it again while sparring) and playing instruments(aka for one of the Tsaritsa's parties cause the pianist cancelled again.) He's also interested in embroidery

4 - What are they bad at?

Understanding his own emotions. Sandrone is an empath and understands what other people are feeling and why. And when he can't, he's good enough at picking up social cues and reacting accordingly. But when it comes to himself, he doesn't understand it at all. It isn't his fault he's like this but he's awkward at times because of it. Sometimes a story isn't enough reference to be a person. Beyond that though he's just kinda shit at cooking. Seriously, he burns water. He also sucks at the above embroidery.

6 - Do they have any vices/addictions/mental illnesses?

A lot, but after consulting @zertecs they told me to include the main ones. The only real things that come up in his gameplay/voicelines/quests would be the subtle hints to his PTSD. Mans was tortured, what can you expect from him? And also his Depersonalization that happens quite frequently as a result of always being somebody else. His worst bad habit is the fact he folds the corners of pages instead of using a bookmark so I mean he's at least not an alcoholic or smth.

Neutral Good or Chaotic Good I suppose? He's a Knight... He's a healer... But he doesn't care for laws, not really. He follows his own moral compass which sometimes doesn't align with those of his workplace(Chaotic Good) but he also does the best that he can to help others even at the expense of himself(Neutral Good). He's not evil by any means, but he's done bad things. 3 - What are their hobbies and interests? Do they have any particular “favorites” (food, books, and so on)?

Besides the standard answer of origami. Ohm quite likes baking. It isn't often he times to put aside for it. But when he does have time, it's a hobby he'll take up. He likes baking and decorating cakes the most. He's not the /best/ at the decorating aspect, but everything tastes great! He loves sweets so this is really an excuse for him to eat cookie dough. 4 - What are they bad at?

Most would say nothing. That's the thing about Ohm, his skills or any lack of are a closely guarded secret. Everything Ohm does he's supposedly good at, one of those people who are gifted at picking things up immediately. Really though, its cause he gives up if he's bad at it. There are many abandoned projects sitting in his yard or office that he just couldn't get a handle on. Painting, carpentry, DIY, a yoga mat, cheesemaking stuff, ect. He's bad at lots of things! 6 - Do they have any vices/addictions/mental illnesses?

Ohm has a lot of problems from years of being Celestia's bitch essentially. The most obvious are that he's a pathological liar, a self sacrificial martyr, and he suffers from PTSD like his younger brother. He never chose this life, nor has he ever wanted to do the things he's done, and that heavily weighs on him. He drinks a lot to try and quell the pain but given his adeptal blessing alcohol no longer affects him as it used to so he finds even drinking pointless these days. While his brother has less vices due to just not really having the time or spacefor it, Ohm has a lot.

One of the things you might notice when working with spells is they call for some different ingredients. For example, eye of newt, wool of bat, toe of frog. To some who happen across these spells it can help lend to some of the fear surrounding witches because some of the ingredients may seem a bit bizarre. However, you will often find that seldom will those ingredients be literal. For example, if you see eye of newt in a spell, you are not going go out and get an actual eye from a newt. It actually refers to mustard seed.

Overall thoughts

My actual writing year didn’t really start until like in May which mean the bulk of my writing was in the last half of the year. I spent most of the first half reposting and moving my eunhae fic over to ao3 so I didn’t actually have any new fic to post (even tho i was prob still writing away with random fic ideas anyway but no actual completed fic to post) until I wrote BI for bakudeku and that pretty much sealed the deal for me. New fandom, new pairing, and new obsession. Honestly coming in I was worry how slow I was writing and how I didn’t get much done but looking at my fic list and my wordcounts and HOW I DID IT ALL IN HALF A YEAR... im pretty impress with myself :D.

Also, I think it’s a good time as any to finally realize and accept when you finally  move on to a new fandom. So thank you v v v v much to my old fandom for nurturing me and helping me grow as i writer these past five years. You made every eunhae fic worth it, thank you again!!!!

My best story of the year

“A demolition boy & his cryptid bf” if all the kudoes that keep on coming tell me. Here’s a random tidbit about it: i wrote it all in like 2-3 days in some sort of mad spur. social media style fic was something i did for eunhae before so it wasn’t new to me so i guess that’s why it came easy enough LOL but this was little more intensive just bc i wanted it look even better but im sooooo glad ppl were so accepting of it despite the style of the fic and the way it was format. you guys rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gave me enough confident to start “love meme, hate meme” even tho im pretty sure i was going to do it anyway lol. 

My favorite story of the year

“love meme, hate meme,” only bc it is my masterpiece in term of how fucking damn pretty it is and how much blood, sweat, and tears i poured into it just to get that damn FONT COLOR RIGHT. 

Most fun story to write

“papa said to knock you out” aka kasumi ‘verse only bc she literally wrote herself. her voice come clear and true to me and i had such a fun time writing in her pov!! it also plays into my dumb romcom trope that i always love bc royalty au? CHECK? single parents? CHECK CHECK? past secret love affair? CHEEEEEEEECK. it’s just all so damn cliche and it’s me to T and i fucking love it. 

Story with the single sexiest moment

“In Rouge” played with a lot of things i love where it borders on sexy/intimate without crossing the line. like im 90% sure bakudeku were going to bang in the restroom but the fact that it’s THE RESTROOM IN THEIR SCHOOL and katsuki is damn good bf and wouldn’t want their first time in that shitty place so yea hands to themselves. but honestly i don’t do smut/nsfw but i always tread the water with it lol with my kink fics bc i am kinky v v v much so but i do in a way that is comfortable with me without dealing with explicit sex and im really glad i get to show off that in my fic bc sexy doesn’t alway have to lead up to sex ya know???? 

Most "holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story

Story that shifted my own perception of the characters

"My boy builds coffin” for sure. Only because I wanted to stretch how Katsuki would fall and understand the length he would go to ensure a future where izuku is alive and thriving and I THOUGHT man if your future bf who is this scarred and traumatized individual person come back in time to protect you by killing every fucking thing that hurt you and instead of freaking the fuck out you’re like “um, IM SO JEALOUS OF MY FUTURE SELF TO HAVE THIS PERSON DEDICATE THEIR LIFE TO THEM” and im like fuck bc that’s the kind of fucked upness that i love. 

Hardest story to write

if it isn’t “love meme, hate meme” than THIS IS YEAR IS FUCKING CANCEL. the formatting,juggling a gazillion of usernames, the font color and text, THE FANFIC ARCHIVE etc everything i have to carefully format and code even tho i have extremely and bullshit knowledge of it.

KH3 liveblogging 4/4

Major spoiler warning! This took me so long because I was trying to 100% the game.

This thing where you have to gather Sora’s pieces is really trippy but cool.

Kairi being what keeps Sora tethered to the world is great.

Okay so like... the reason Riku was talking to himself in that earlier scene (and no one else could see him doing this) is because Riku has been harboring Replica Riku’s heart in his this whole time and is able to summon him whenever he wants because he (unlike Sora) actually has the power of awakening? Or...

I like how half-hearted Luxord and Larxene were about fighting. Lol.

“I was just along for the ride” “With who?” “My secret” UHHH... 👀 My best guess is Marluxia given she knew him in KHUX time but who knows.

I also like how the other baddies just stay back while the dying character talks with Sora and co. before they disappear.

Scala ad Caelum = Stairway to Heaven. It looks very pretty and I want to explore here more but I have a very harrowing boss battle to fight, apparently. But seriously, the blue sky and whitewashed walls on a hill by the sea is so very very Aesthetic.

Xehanort has a goat theme? It looks so creepy. But like... I wonder if this is connected to the Foretellers (all of them have animal themes)?

Okay so... Xehanort wanted to forge a x-blade so that he could control Kingdom Hearts so that he could use the world’s first light it contained within to return the world back to primordial darkness so that the world could have a do-over? ._. Also, this last-minute villain redemption seems a bit rushed but okay. Like... I still don’t get what the deal is with Eraqus and Xehanort. We’re supposed to buy that they’re childhood friends but (1) they don’t act like it in BBS (Xehanort certainly is a pretty shitty friend during BBS), and (2) Xehanort looks like 20 years older than Eraqus??? Just being real.

Old man Xehanort’s voice isn’t as exaggerated as it used to be. RIP Leonard Nimoy. ;_;

Lots of near-death moments for Sora (also, I get that Donald and Goofy are some of the most connected characters to Sora, but this last revival was so cheesy omg).

Apparently the internet says that is specifically Shibuya from the The World Ends with You universe, suggesting a potential connection between the world where Sora and Riku are in the secret movie and the dream world in Dream Drop Distance where TWEWY characters last appeared.

Reading the secret reports: Who is this mystery girl? Four friends + a key + “May your heart be your guiding key” sounds strongly like Skuld. Xigbar / Luxu took her away? Or is it possible that there is a DIFFERENT group of five friends in the Dandelions: (1) Larxene/Elrena, (2) Marluxia/Lauriam, (3) Luxord’s somebody, (4) Demyx’s somebody, and (5) literally anyone else (possibly a completely new character) i.e. the person in this report. (I assume if Subject X was Larxene, Saix and Axel would have recognized her, so Subject X is not Larxene.) All five were saved from the Keyblade War and knew each other, but then ended up in the present time completely amnesiac?

Interesting Xehanort backstory... The Xehanort/Eraqus ship-teasing in this game is immense.

So it seems like summoning Kingdom Hearts allows you access to the old world pre-original Keyblade War (Age of Fairy Tales). This is why Xehanort wanted to summon Kingdom Hearts. But it looks like Luxu wanted Xehanort to summon Kingdom Hearts so that the Foretellers would be able to brought back from the Age of Fairy Tales into the present and so would the Master of Masters?

Fuck, watching the Lost Masters ending again, and Ava is missing!! Ava + four friends + key + “May your heart be your guiding key” could also mean she is the amnesiac girl. Although I don’t get the feeling the Foretellers would really describe each other as “friends”... so probably not. Also, I am very worried that the Foretellers are described as darknesses (presumably villains?), and there are seven -- the middle five are Unicorn (Ira), a heart symbol which I’m guessing is the MoM, Goat (Luxu), Snake (invi), and Leopard? (Gula). It’s blurry but the leftmost one could be a bear (Aced) and the rightmost could be a fox (Ava). I guess (given their names) this wouldn’t be all that surprising...
