Need someone to go in and see if Alperen and Mel only allocate 1 - 2 shoot days together a week hence their lack of screen time together lol because I don't understand why their scenes are not only few and far inbetween but also lacking the depth I felt we were getting at the beginning of the show.

Watching Elif wouldn't be so bad if the actress was good but she doesn't have the skill set or range to carry the amount of scenes she is being given. As much as she gets on my nerves (along with Tuncay & Tahir too), the writer's are worse for the lack of consistency and effort in the story their trying to tell.

*Also shoutout to those who make edits either on twitter or tiktok, literal life savers jazzing this all up into a cute package. Doing more work than the PR team of the show lol.

Long story short: it's obviously immoral and profoundly unhinged, but also it's very hot, so I approve.

On one hand, it’s immoral to offer an engaged man who’s desperate for money $3m lira for three nights of sex.

On the other hand, if I had $3m lira as playaround cash, I’d also consider buying someone who looks like Alperen Duymaz for three nights.

Past Loves

An ErSib fic based on the 2023 Turkish dizi EGO: Erkeğe Güven Olmaz, starring Melisa Aslı Pamuk & Alperen Duymaz

Due to popular demand, I have written an ErSib fanfic entitled Past Loves. It ties in the Cüneyt plot with the mysterious 3 days Erhan and Sibel spent in Antalya. As of writing, five chapters are out. I’ve cross-posted my fic to AO3 and Wattpad.

SUMMARY:

A story about ErSib from the Turkish dizi EGO: Erkeğe Güven Olmaz, starring Melisa Aslı Pamuk and Alperen Duymaz. Erhan knows Sibel is his and his alone. That she loves him as much as he loves her. He's sure that she's his soulmate, and that they'll spend the rest of their lives together.

However, Erhan can't shake the feeling that Sibel is hiding a huge chunk of her past from him. What will happen when he discovers her secret about her past love Cüneyt? And the 3 days he spent with Sibel all those years ago-how does it connect to Cüneyt and Sibel's secret?

Whoever is writing this show must want it to tank lol. Out of the hundreds of potential storylines you can go with, who in their right mind would choose Elif being pregnant?.

If episode 6 is anything to go by then I'm gonna need just the Ersib cuts lol. I'll enjoy Alperen x Melisa chemistry (no.1 consistent thing of this show) & keep it pushing.

Just woke up and found out the show got cancelled and will be ending on ep13, so yay me! 😭

I'm just sad at the unfulfilled potential the show had, the fact that they didn't utilise the lead actors enough together (if we thought it was impossible before for a reunion between Alpmel, then it's guaranteed we ain't ever seeing them together again in the future). I know they changed writer's I think after ep3-4 but it's quite evident whoever Fox hired next was incompetent cause god damn were we forced to watch secondary characters get more development than the leads.

Currently watching EGO starring Alperen Duymaz and Melisa Aslı Pamuk, I swear it’s one of the best dizis with fire chemistry I’ve seen. I also loved some of the changes the made compared to the Kdrama Temptation.

I went through your account and saw you talked about Çarpışma before, if you don’t mind me asking, what was all the drama behind the scenes? I was told Alperen and Melisa used to be friends but midway through the dizi they stopped. (Ofc, we all know he unfollowed her during EGO filming, which is sad, but yeah). As someone who wasn’t in diziland years ago, can you give context as to what happened?

I also enjoyed the first episode of EGO, there's potential there but after doing a bit of research (aka twitter search lol) I've since lowered expectations a bit cause apparently Fox is a shite production and they're trigger happy with ending shows at their whim. Hoping for the best though! 🙏🏾

As for Alpmel, I'll be honest - I have no idea 😂. It's so weird looking back on it cause one minute they were all cool, did this beautiful magazine shoot and all that. The next minute it became evident to me as the show was winding down that they weren't on good terms. If you end up finding out, please feel free to message me cause I'd like to know too.
