It was a mistake.

No, really — it was!

He was the devil incarnate (which, to be fair, he sort of was) who’s favorite past time was spying on naked women.

Your aim was increasingly in its accuracy, however, when a hard covered book almost poked his eye out. Allen snatched it from the air, brought it back against his chest. “ Will you stop?!”

“I don’t know, will I?!”

He found himself, once again, at a cross roads. He could stay here and fight with you, in your current, fumbling, half naked state, or he could get out and close the door behind him, and with it his feelings — because obviously this was never going to work, what, with you trying to squeeze his eyes out his skull with your bare hands and a flimsy towel you had scrumbled to snatch from your bed only a bit too late.

(don't think about bare anything!)

Just — leave his feelings at your door to gather dust. That would be easier than fighting with you everyday, as enjoyable as it was that sort of endearingly abysmal aspect of your relationship was about to give, any day now, and you would be remiss to remind him just how much you cared; dirt under your shoes and all that sweet talk Allen loved and sought after a hard mission.

He realized, very early on in your relationship, that this didn’t exactly painted a healthy picture of the two of you. Allen was Allen ( except when he was Nea, then Allen WASNT Allen) and you were you, each your own person with individual strengths and weaknesses.

He had learned all those weaknesses just as he had learned how to work his tongue between your legs.

All this shouting, all this atmospheric tenacity he could taste if he poked out his tongue — Allen felt it in the air, it made his blood boil, though less so than the clear image of the angry tears burning hot at the corner of your eyes as you scrambled to save your dignity.

Oh — there went your sword, flying past his head and missing an inch. Allen hoped that Nea was warm to the concept of a chunky haircut, perhaps some parts of his scalp too.

(You always fucked his hair up anyway, but sitting on the floor of your bathroom between your legs, your nimble and warm fingers in his hair as you demanded silence in favor of concentration — “don’t want to fuck you up,” you’d mumble and if Allen loved you a little less, he’d tell you, laugh at you, “too late, sweetness”, but he never did. Never did and probably never would. Speak of a wish outloud and it would be taken away.)

“What the hell is going on here — HEY!”

It was only out of thought for your dignity that he grabbed Levi just as the red headed bastard rounded the corner, no doubt attracted by all the rucus you two were causing in the dorms, and pushed him away from your door which you were now trying to close on Allen's face and unfortunate fingers with a newfound strenght.

He would've laughed if he found the prospect funny; someone other than him seeing you in your most vulnerable state, soaking up the sight of your naked skin, your trembling eyelashes or the redness beneath your eyes whenever you felt wronged or tormented — pain or pleasure. it was all the same.

Allen didn't stop to see whether Levi was alright or not, simply leaving him kocked on his ass, gaping up at him.

You were spluttering too now, one hand raised and clutching a stuffed animal you'd taken from your bed (Allen knew, he had spent countless nights in the very same bed, sourounded by them becasue you refused to put thme on the floor, if not because you liked them too much, then because you wanted to annoy him to hell and back), ready to decimate him as you threw it at him, backing away as he slammed the door shut and locking it.

He started to advance towards you. "Sweetheart."

Your legs hit the edge of your bed and you yelled as you fell, towel and all, on top of the comforter. "You fiend, don't call me that!"

You made to scramble up but Allen was faster.

He climbed onto the bed after you, knees on either side of your hips as he straddled you and grabbed your wrists. Leaning down, he tagged those wretched, offending hands up up to his lips and kissed the inside of your wrists, feeling the pulse of your heart as it hammered away beneath your chest, warm and alive and pounding.

His clothes were getting wet fromt he water that clinged to the towel. Allen couldn't say he cared. You spluttered, probably cursing him to spend an eternity in hell when he died, as if his fate wasn't already forfeit to such fate.

His existence was cursed in its entirety and you, you were the only clean spot in it. Even if you hated it, you could never refute it.

You spat out curse after curse; you brute, you fiend, you damned man, (you knew him best, after all), you clown!

Allen laughed at the last one, laughed at the sour expression on your face after too — and promptly sank his teeth right above your pulse point on the inside of your wrist.

You were going to kick him in the solar plexus tomorrow during training, throw his ass down the stairs and try to wringle every essence of life out of his neck when you had the chance.

And he'd let you.

Allen let go of your hands, finally laying his body on top of yours. "Don't be angry with me," he said as he nuzzled his nose to your neck.

You sighed. "Why did you do that, you idiot. God knows what Levi will think now."

"I want to be the only man who sees you like that," Allen asnwered, unprompted, like a fucking freak, and laid his head on your chest, right on top of your heart.

You gripped his hair so tight that you could take a piece of his skull with it if you pulled. "Prepare yourself; I am going to stab you tomorrow."

"I know."

"I really mean it."

"Oh, I don't doubt you for a second."

Every scar Allen had gotten from you he treasured immensely. If it meant that you were around to give him more, take another inch of his skin, spill his blood, cut off a limb even — whatever it was that you wanted from him, he'd only be too glad to let you have it.

PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder) is an endocrine disease that causes intense pms symptoms + depression, anxiety, mood swings, changes in apetite, and many other things, 10 - 14 days before a person's period. I was recently diagnosed and I thought this would be comforting for me bc im kinda struggling with it recently. Do with it what you will.

Allen

He's really kind about it, but it can be hard for him to be patient with you sometimes when your symptoms start to show.

You get into very hopeless, dire moods and he wants to snap at you when you speak unkindly about yourself. But he restrains himself

Would probably do a bunch of research on it and give suggestions on how to better cope with it, if you don't have a handle on it already.

Hes ready to give you whatever you need tbh. If you need space, he'll leave you be. If you're wanting support, he's there.

There are times when Allen will need a moment to cool down, too, when you're having a hard time. It stresses him out to see you so upset, and he has to walk away sometimes.

Often suggests different food to make you feel better. Will force Link to make it for you

Lenalee

Because it is influenced by stress and trauma, I imagine Lenalee may have PMDD herself. Or, at least knows of it, since everyone in her line of work experiences stress and trauma.

If she doesnt know of it, she researches it, similarly to Allen. But its easier for her to be patient with you than it is for him. That is, unless she experiences it herself.

In that case you two are synced and theres either a lot of crying or a lot of arguing. Or both!

You might be very on and off with her because of it.

If she doesn't have symptoms, though, she takes very good care of you! Makes you tea, exercises with you, lots of cuddles.

There are times when you can be really difficult though and even she would lose her patience sometimes. Not that it would even result in a fight, she'd just drop the subject.

Lavi

Lavi is a walking encyclopedia so he knows what pmdd is and how to treat it. He's actually very good to you about it, and rarely does it ever result in genuine arguments, even when you do have serious mood swings and say the most depressed things he's ever heard very suddenly.

Offers to massage your boobs lol. He's trying to be funny but also knows you're in pain

another one who would exercise with you, but prefers napping together, of course!

Is very good at wrapping you in blankets, holding your face and talking sense into you.

When he can't deal with you though, which is rare, he just avoids talking to you if it gets far enough. He doesn't track your cycle or anything but can tell when you're suffering. The type to shut you out for a while and then act like nothing happened.

Kanda

Uh oh

Like, I was gonna say there's a lot of arguments around the time that you start experiencing symptoms, but. It's just these little (loud, though) spats about you suddenly being the most dramatic depressed person on earth and him getting really pissed when you speak about yourself with so much hate

I was gonna say he'd yell at you, which is probably still true, but genuinely? You could make this man cry. The shit I say when pmdd hits, I think seeing someone he loved like that would upset him deeply. He'd be terrified of you snapping and offing yourself tbh

but, the fights wouldn't last long, I don't think. You just end up crying in his arms lol

He really encourages you to do anything you can to cope because he's scared bro!! He's pushy about it

Will exercise with you. He really pushes this one, because it helps him, too. Will do whatever he can to help you along, if you're kinda weak or inexperienced with exercise

Forces you to eat if you lose your appetite

Doesn't care if it lowers your libido. Even though physical touch of any kind is usually how he expresses his feelings for you, because he sucks with words, he's fine as long as he can cuddle you whenever lol

If you don't have that problem he might try to fuck the self loathing out of you though. Again, he's a very physical guy.

now that its cold again and i am, once again, too cheap to turn on the heat in my apartment, i am back in my allen era...

"but why won't you turn on the heat?" he asks, confusion laced into his question. it's not out of place, his inability to understand your logic.

mostly because you don't want to tell him your plan.

hanging out at allen's small apartment is always cold and you always sneak in a way to have his arms wrapped around you. but lately, ever since his stove stopped working and the landlord's taking his sweet time to fix it, you've been spending time at your place.

allen's not good at initiating cuddle times - it's awkward and straining for him to ask for the affection you'll freely give and you can be stunted too, in making the moves that are sometimes needed to push you both.

so, after lavi's suggestion, you decided to let the heaters stay turned off, because this will make sure that you're cuddled up for warmth shortly after dinner. it's a secure deal.

except, allen won't stop asking questions.

he does it out of worry. are you short on money? did the heater break and you dont know how to fix it? are you suddenly self-conscious about his choice of letting it stay off for as long as possible? should he take an extra shift at work to help you replace it?

you try to shrug off his question again, wiping down the countertop after dinner and deflecting, "should we continue 90 days fiance tonight?"

(allen's official stance will always be that reality tv like that is staged and shallow - but that won't stop him from being dramatically invested in the bad choices of these people desperate for love.)

he huffs out a breath and lets his shoulders sag. then, he shakes his head and reaches out for your hands.

with both of his. a recent development you've been more than thrilled about - yet you're too afraid it will make him uncomfortable to mention it.

you squeeze his and muster up the most nonchalant expression you can before you lean in close and talk before he can ask another question, "we can bring the duvet and bedcover into the livingroom with us."

if you think it's rude that he rolls his eyes at you, you don't say it out loud. instead, you inhale sharply before you kiss him. he grunts unexpectedly - he loves kissing you, feeling the shape and warmth of your lips, but he's not used to it yet.

he sighs and locks eyes with you, "you promise everything's okay?"

you laugh and swat his shoulder, "yes."

he eyes you for a moment like he sometimes eyes kanda when his definitely-not-friend-but-also-close-friend says something suspiciously kind to him.

you kiss him again, "it's embarassing to say out loud but i promise that my intentions are good and that there literally isn't any issues. can you please be a good boyfriend and come cuddle with me now?"

he thinks it's underhanded, how you use the term boyfriend, fully aware of how flustered it makes him. you smile victoriously before you grab onto his left hand and drags him into the living room, caressing his scarred skin with your thumb all the way. you can't wait to be covered in blankets, duvets and the scent of him for the rest of the evening, listening to him revert to his rude speech pattern as the people on screen makes the worst choices or says the worst things publicly. it's still early, but you think you love him.

Lavi pov

“These damn Akuma!” I screamed out feeling overwhelmed by the sheer amount. It felt like I had been here for hours.

“Help!” A small child screamed in the distance. I dashed to save them.

“Big hammer little hammer, grow, grow, grow!” I exclaimed ready to take out the nasty akuma.

A loud whooshing sound flew past me with speed that I had never seen before. They slayed the akuma with a strange power blast coming from her fingertip, saving the small child. After the dust cleared, I noticed it was a woman, and a beautiful woman at that. However, with closer inspection, I noticed that she definitely wasn’t human. She was glowing f/c with f/c butterfly wings attracted to her back. She looked ethereal and I felt my knees going weak. I guess she noticed me and set the child down flapping her wings up in the air.

“No wait!” I exclaimed wanting to talk to her

She turned her head as she kept herself in the air. Now I had a perfect view of her. Her mesmerizing e/c eyes were sparkling and her hair looked like it was in water. She was stunning.

“Who are you?” I asked trying my best not to scare her away.

“Y/n.” She responded simply looking into my eye. She then descended turning into a human?“You?” She asked with a confused by look on her face as her new form shone in the moonlight.

“Oh me! I’m Lavi Bookman! It’s nice to meet ya, y/n!” I spoke excitedly as a furious blush erupted in my face.

“You as well.” She whispered, turing back into her previous form and going back into the sky.

“Come down!” I asked her

“I’m sorry, I need to go.” She responded flying away much to my disappointment.

“Wait!” I examined running slightly after her. But she was too fast and the most beautiful woman I had ever seen flew away.

“I know I’ll see you again.” I whispered into the night. I then sighed turning around to make sure the child she saved was okay as I thought to ask Panda what she was knowing full well that that power she used wasn’t innocence or anything else I had ever seen.

“She was so pretty.” The child spoke looking up at where she flew off.

“Yeah, yeah she is.” I whispered.

Yu Kanda-

Kanda Pov

“Now Mugen go!” I yelled slaying three akuma that were laying waste to a small town.

I jumped in the air once more trying to attack more akuma. Just was I was about to attack a sudden blast from a level 2 Akuma was sent my way. I blocked the attack just in time but it sent me flying back into a stone wall. The air was knocked out of my lungs making me cough. The same akuma came lunging forward and I tried to fight but my body wouldn’t move like I wanted it to. Just as I grasped my sword something grabbed it. Vines?

“What the hell?” I muttered getting up ready to face whatever was next.

“Die, scum.” A mysterious voice spat crushing the akuma with its vines.

A forest green vine like creature with e/c eyes and the body of a woman took out a level 2 akuma like it was nothing. She looked at it with the same look that I’ve seen so many others make before except I had never seen such a power before. She wasn’t human in fact I’m not even sure what she was.

She then looked at me and the angry look in her eyes faded showing a softer look. She gave me a small smile before turning back and walking towards the woods.

“Hey, wait. Who are you?” I whispered as my voice was horse.

She stopped without looking at me and spoke in a voice so soft that any normal person wouldn’t have been able hear. And then to my surprise, changed her shape into a human like one.

“Y/n.” Was all she spoke before changing back and disappearing into the forest.

After I regained my strength, I battled every last akuma. I fought until it was dawn until the last one was slain just as the sun peaked through the horizon, completing my mission. The remaining towns folk thanked me as I made my way back to the Black Order, desperate for some answers. All the while my mind couldn’t get rid of her. How she liked, how quickly and easily she killed a level 2, and how soft her voice was. I needed answers and most importantly…

“I know I’ll see you again, y/n.” I spoke aloud as a strange sensation filled my chest.

Allen Walker-

Allen pov

“Tim-campy, go notify the nearest exorcist that I need some backup.” I shouted at tim.

There were too many of them, even for me. And I desperately needed to save the people of this town. Too many have already died due to many high level akuma terrorizing them. I wish Lavi or Kanda were here to give me support.

“Shit.” I exclaimed as I noticed an akuma just about to kill a small family.

I leapt to destroy it and save the soul trapped inside. However, I was shoved back by an akuma attack. I flew back into the ground coughing from impact. I tried getting up but more akumas began surround me and the small family. I began to panic a little, feeling overwhelmed and frustrated with the situation at hand.

“Dammit, I need help.” I spoke to no one in particular.

I killed the three akuma that were before be as they were blocking my path to the family. I acted as quickly as I could manage. Just as I was about to reach the family that was screaming for their lives, I say fir?

The figure swooped in slashing all of the akuma ;that surrounded the family, saving them. I was awestruck by the sight. It like a wolf but it was standing on its hides legs. It looked at me and I noticed it had yellow eyes and grayish hair. It was a scary, but interesting sight. However, it turned to the family and I worried that it might attack them. So, I rushed at it knocking it out of the way. I heard it whimper and I felt a small pang in my heart at the noise.

“Are you all alright?” I asked the family as they all nodded still in shock at the events that happened tonight.

I looked at the creature only to find the body of a beautiful woman getting up instead. I was shocked by her. How in the hell can she do that? Was it innocence? I couldn’t have been as she wasn’t wearing any clothes nor did I see the familiar innocence green. She looked at me and I could tell she was pissed. I couldn’t blame her considering how hard I had hit her.

“Are you okay, what’s your name? Are you okay?” I asked her feeling really bad for hitting her. She gave me a blank stare looking into my eyes with uncertainty and confusion.

“Y/n. That’s my name.” She stated

“Nice to meet you. I’m Allen Walker.” I told her stepping forward trying to greet her.

However, that only scared her as she immediately ran at an incredible speed truing back into her previous form.

“Wait, please! I just want to talk to you. I’m so sorry for earlier!” I pleated with her feeling disheartened.

She was gone. I shook my head forcing myself to refocus on the task at hand. It seemed that with her help, all of the akuma were slain. I smiled to myself thinking about her. She was pretty, maybe the prettiest girl I’d ever seen.

“I’ll see you again y/n, I know I will. Take care.” I whispered before going back to tend to the family and by others that were wounded in the village.

You probably meant OT4 at just the main four but you know, I like the idea of a chaotic OT5 with them and Reader. It would be as disastrous as it was loving.

With how Allen eats, he doesn’t notice nor understand the idea of a safe food since he just inhales everything. Honestly you’d have to explain why a dish meant so much to you for him to get it

He likes to bring you whatever it may be when you’re busy so he can make sure you’re eating. He also likes to use it to cheer you up.

God bless him, he’s tried to make it for you himself but it just turned out horrifically awful. An absolute disaster. He refuses to let you even try it so he doesn’t risk upsetting you or ruining the food for you altogether.

He makes sure never to order whatever it is for himself because he’d just feel awful if there wasn’t any left afterwards for you to eat. He’s sure it must be tasty if it’s making you smile like that, he doesn’t need to try it—unless you insist, in which case, how can he say no?

Yeah Kanda isn’t going to notice anything either. If on some odd chance he does, he chalks it up to you being a picky eater maybe, like he is with soba. Needless to say, with this mentality, you can trust him with your food to not steal any, but you can’t trust him to understand when it makes you upset.

And god does he not get it when you’re upset because of your food. He unintentionally may come across as insensitive when he bluntly asks you what’s the matter when you’re sulking at a meal. Patience is a virtue and you’re gonna need it with him when you explain how your safe food is just important to you.

While outwardly he just shrugs it off, you do notice him offering you lunch boxes as peace offerings when you’re in a bad mood—regardless if he was the cause. He’s not good with communicating, so this act of service is a god send for the relationship in an odd way.

You can offer to show him how to make it if you want an excuse to spend time with him but he’s going to suck at whatever you ask him to do. Chop something? More like obliterates it. Stir it together? Well now it’s mostly on the counter and floor. He’s frustrated but he enjoys your company, so it’s a win-lose situation.

“Does it really taste that good? Give me a bite, I wanna try it~” He thinks he’s being cheeky, not realizing he’s kind of being insensitive by making light of it or by trying to take some of it from you. Apologizes with nuzzles and offering to feed you.

Like it or not, he memorizes everything about you, even the tiniest details. When it comes to you, everything is Important Information, and Important Information does not get buried or forgotten, both because of his photographic memory and also because he knows how beneficial the information can be. Like when he orders an extra side of whatever your safe food is just to make sure you get your fill of it.

Unknowingly can be a bit obnoxious at times with pestering you about how it tastes or how it compares to other places or people who make it. Sometimes he even tries to offer alternative dishes to try. It comes from a good place, he’s just getting used to being open and genuine about his love and he can fumble the ball from time to time.

Regardless of what he says or does, he always has a loving smile on his face while he watches you eat. Seeing you light up over something that seems so small and inconsequential really makes his day, especially if he was the one to gift it to you.

Lenalee definitely noticed and understood to some degree the importance of your safe food to you, and she quietly tucked that information away for safe keeping and didn’t bring it up. No need to make a production out of it, after all.

Her primary love language is acts of service because she likes the feeling she gets when she helps people, so of course she learns to make whatever your safe food is just for you. Though she’d be lying if she said she didn’t prefer making it with you, her other love language being quality time.

Your food is safe with her! No gluttonous heathens can vacuum up your food in their black holes of a stomach (ahem, ALLEN) if you happen to be sharing a table. She also won’t stand for anyone giving you hell about it. If Kanda can eat his Soba and Alma can eat his mayo and Krory can eat his akuma—er, well, you know what she means!—then you can eat whatever you damn well please.

Honestly she probably developed a taste for whatever it is as well. Since it was something special to you that you felt like you could share with her, she holds a special place for it in her heart. Of course she’d never take from your plate, but she likes those meals spent sharing your special dish in a peaceful, loving atmosphere.

I would agree with almost everything on here except Sukuna but more to him later:

Allen is a typical shounen protagonist who eats a lot and he is gladly going to share the food with his darling. Whenever he devours something he always offers you bites and when he discovers something especially delicious he is especially excited and insists for you to take a bite.

Tyki is a man who adores providing for his darling and due to his human and his Noah personality that is going to show itself in different ways. As Tyki he is pretty much just a commoner who enjoys good food and shares it gladly with you. Yes, he isn't going to serve you a five-star meal like his brother Sheril constantly does but sometimes a simple sandwich or soup is the best. If his Noah personality takes over his standards rise and then he is going to feed you much more expensive food.

Genuinely speaking and perhaps going against common depictions, I can see Nanami letting his darling continue to work if the relationship is going smooth whilst he stays at home and plays the part of the househusband. He's going to clean, to cook and will also tend to the children if him and his darling should ever have a few. As a househusband he is going to provide in a different way by always welcoming his darling back with a perfectly cleaned house and a delicious dinner already prepared. He is going to keep his darling well fed, making sure that he creates a good balance of healthy and nutritious meals whilst also indulging his s/o with their favorite food/sweets at times.

Gojo has a confirmed sweet tooth, he's constantly chewing on something or on his way to buy something since Six Eyes and Infinity demand a lot of energy. There's always a snack he carries around and as soon as you are there he makes it a habit to stock up on even more sweets to share them with you. Once he finds out that you are a foodie as well you can bet your arse that he is going to drag you around and make it his personal mission to try out all bars, restaurants and café with you.

Sukuna loves eating, that is true. His diet is very different from his darling though because he feasts on human flesh. Honestly, he's just plain sadistic and is probably going to point it out if his darling is on a more chubby side and depending on their reaction he is either going to bully them if they feel insecure about it or will let it be if it doesn't trigger anything. If you love food though he is going to ruin that for you simply because he can. If you enjoy food so much why don't you join him for his next meal then?

he has questions, but doesn't ask them. He doesn't like being asked about his eye or his arm, so he figures you don't want to be asked about your...condition, either

Still, it does help him to better understand more about you, like your past and your Innocence, and how it works with your body. So, it does prove to be helpful.

Like i said, he keeps his questions to himself, except one: you can atill eat, right?

You’ve seen him in the cafe for well over six months now. He started showing up with just his laptop and a polite request for boiled water. Sometimes at the end of the month, he asked for tea. He always wears long sleeves and gloves.

If it’d been anyone else, you’d deduce he’s flirting with you. Allen calls you endearing names when you step by with a fresh cup, answers your curious questions about his choice of drink and the work he does, all with a handsome smile playing on his features as he rests his head in his palm. He genuinely seems to be enjoying the chats you share, and sometimes he’s the one who engages them when you pass him or if there’s a lull in customers.

There’s no rhyme or reason as to when he brings his friends – or when they simply show up unannounced – but it’s very clear by his behavior then that he might just be an extremely polite Englishman to strangers like you and nothing else.

There’s two friends – close, judging by how often you see them – that seems to bring out another side of him. A guy with a blond braid and a dark haired man with a high ponytail. They both seem tired and uptight in their own ways, and always nag Allen whenever they’re the ones stopping by. It seems he’s got an issue of procrastination, and they’re helping him. How much he actually wants that help, you’re unsure of. But based on the biting and complaints he throws at both of them, they’re not always welcome.

You’re scratching at the back of your neck by the hairline where your eczema is, as you observe him with a redhead today, joking around and laughing. His laugh is really beautiful. It’s light and airy and carries well in the cafe.

He has a peculiar scar on his face that you’ve yet to ask him about; you feel you’re being intrusive enough with your above-the-surface type of questions. You’re mostly curious because you have a feeling about it, but you can't be sure just looking at it and you don't want to assume.

He comes and goes, and sometimes you don’t see him for weeks, sometimes months, but he always comes back and looks positively delighted when he sees you by the register, telling you that he’s missed your voice or your smile.

You’re on the fence on reciprocating his advances. If he’s this different to you than with his friends, you wonder if there’s a reason for it. You’ve been burned and hurt before by men wearing masks.

He comes up to the register with his cup and the small plate you served a croissant on, and thanks you again for the day. His friend whistles and wishes you a good night, earning a slap from Allen and a scolding on the way out.

Two days later, you’ve gotten permission to wear a cap at work by your manager and the one customer you don’t want to see announces his arrival with the jingle of the bell. When you look up and see Allen, you wince. You timidly look down and when he comes up to the counter, he politely but with an unsure lilt to his voice, asks for a cup of boiled water and starts to explain. When you look up, confused as to why he’s explaining routine for you, his eyes light up with recognition.

“It’s you! I couldn’t see your face!”

You notice how he almost reaches out for you with his hands, but stops himself and clears his throat. Then he smiles and leans down so that he can get a better view of your face, “how are things? Is there a special occasion for the cap – if it’s alright that I’m asking?”

You sigh and avoid his gaze, trying your hardest to ignore the urge to pull the cap lower. You’re 97% sure that the cap is hiding the eczema that’s flared on your forehead, but the small percentage of fear makes you want to feel sure. He seems to notice your distress and leans away, “hey, sorry if I made you uncomfortable in any way. You don’t have to tell me at all, the hat suits you, too.”

The hopeful sheen in your eyes when you look up at him in shock makes him mirror your own surprise. “Did I say something wrong?” he asks, biting his lower lip. You shake your head, and hurry away from the register to make his cup. You’re too afraid to look back at him to notice how his eyes follow your every move, a smidgen of worry and curiosity filling him, too.

You want to talk more with him as you hand him the cup, but there’s a line behind him. You cock your head to the size to refer to it and he immediately apologizes upon realization with a slight bow as he goes for his seat. You mentally reprimand yourself for suddenly being so stunted in your communication with a regular. A regular you actually like.

But men have talked nasty about your eczema before, men you’ve dated. Said it might be a hygiene problem that you could fix, indicating it’s your own fault, or asking if you couldn’t do them the favor of covering it up with makeup – nevermind the fact that makeup would upset it even more.

There’s a lull in customers where you sigh out in relief. You’ve been stealing glances at Allen’s table all morning, keeping an eye on his cup, too. You decide to bring him his refill now, that you have time to talk, too.

“I’m sorry I was a little short this morning,” you start as you pour the water into the cup. He looks up from his laptop and the way his entire face warms up at the sight of you, makes your tummy do somersaults. There’s an innocence to him that radiates warmth, and when he asks if you have time to sit down, noticing the quietness, you decide to be bold and accept.

He closes the laptop halfway and pushes it to the side, “I shouldn’t have put you on the spot like that.” He says and apologizes. You nod, “it’s okay. I never wear caps at work, it was a change you noticed.”

He nods, “yeah but I promise I won’t push it! I don’t know what came over me, truly. I think I was just so excited to see a new side of you, or learn something new about you.”

You gulp at the bold choice of words, your fingers fidgeting under the table to stop them from going to your face in flustered embarrassment.

You smile and look down at the steam rising from his cup, “I have a flare-up right now.”

You expect him to look confused, quizzical or ask you to elaborate but his face seems to fall, “oh.”

You nod, “yeah, it doesn’t look… Well, personally I don’t think it looks that terrible, but I don’t want customers seeing or commenting on it.”

Allen nods and lets his hands go to his cup of water, wrapping around it and warming up his gloved fingers. He’s quiet still, so you continue, “it’s usually behind my ears and my hairline in the back of my neck... other places too, but I do flare on the forehead as well sometimes.”

You take a look around the cafe to make sure the few other customers aren’t looking, before you take the hat off. Allen follows your hands more than he looks at your head, but then he smiles like a lovestruck fool.

“Thank you… for telling me about that.”

You smile and put the cap back on, suddenly embarrassed by the hat hair. It’s not like people run away screaming from seeing eczema, but usually there’s a wince or a stronger reaction than what Allen’s giving you.

“Let me take you on a date.” he says and your back straightens and you feel yourself bristle.

“Eh?”

Is he joking with you?

He smiles as he looks down at his cup. You’re mesmerized by the slope of his nose as you find yourself admiring his features for longer than you should and while you don’t want to admit it, staring at his face makes you relax from his outrageous request. He then seems to decide something with a determined nod and starts to take off his left glove.

You follow the movement like you’ve been entranced. The gracefulness of his long fingers, the way the glove that hugs his hand so snug comes off at his tugging, and then the reveal of a dark, red hand and arm underneath the white fabric. His nails are painted black, but the scarring, the lumps and the cracked scaliness to his skin makes you clench your thigh underneath the table to compose your own reaction. You don’t want to be excited about learning someone else has eczema, Jesus Christ, you reprimand yourself.

You look at his face and his eyes are on the hand he’s rotating, a sad smile on his face. “I get it,” he says and sighs, before he starts to put on the glove again, “the scar on my face is eczema, too, but it reacts better to the ointments.”

You nod dumbly. Still unsure as to the correlation between opening up and asking you for a date.

“It’s embarrassing. Dates don’t want to hold my hands, they don’t want me to touch them or even their food if they find out. I’ve been trying to make myself ask you out for months now, but I’ve been so terrified you’d end up judging me if I were to show you.”

You suddenly can’t help but let out a laugh. It comes from relief at the situation, and you bend your head over the table as you let out a long breath. Allen looks at you with a confused smile, “are you… okay?” he asks unsure and you chuckle again before you look up at him, craning your neck to see him despite the cap.

“I’ve been so afraid of interpreting your flirting, because I was terrified you’d see my eczema one day and screech.”

Allen blushes, a deep and nice shade of red. Then he coughs into his hand and looks out the window, “so you knew I was flirting.”

You smile and reach for his gloved hands, making sure you’re gentle with the left, but still squeezing it nonetheless, “I had a feeling.”

He flinches at your touch but he doesn’t pull away, which makes you let out another sigh of relief, the situation still hitting you. You both let out nervous little laughs, holding hands.

You’re glad you showed him. You’re grateful he showed you, and now you feel that you can comfortably return his feelings. Allen seems relieved too, at the situation at hand. You’re about to say something in return, maybe something cheese if you’re feeling brave, but the jingle of the bell alerts you of customers, and you hastily get up and brush off your apron before you greet them. As you pass Allen you hurriedly whisper, “I’m off in two hours.”

He follows you as you walk up to the counter to take their orders, and he rests his chin in his palm, a lovesick smile on his features as he lets himself stare freely now that he knows there’s an actual chance to be had. He looks forward to getting to know you more.

Allen

He’s a little stunned at first, confused to if he actually just heard that. But he wastes no time pulling you safely in the opposite direction of the cat caller, essentially putting himself between the two of you.

Allen is a true gentleman, he’s yelling at the cat caller, saying you don’t treat people like that, and ready to throw hands. He’s learned a lot from Cross and disrespecting women isn’t one of them. He’s truly upset by the situation.

You’ll most likely have to pull him away and tell him you just want to leave. One look at you though is enough to pull Allen to his senses. His whole face softens at the sight of you. He’ll grab your hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze, and pull you along to your favorite spot.

Kanda

He’s annoyed that this is happening but thinks the best solution is to ignore the cat caller. Kanda does notice the effect their words have on you. He’ll place his arm around your shaking figure and whisper to you to not to let them get to you. However, if you give him a look, Kanda won’t hesitate to pull his sword on them.

Once you’re far enough away from the situation, Kanda will ask you if you’re alright. Upon seeing that you are clearly not, he’ll take you home.

At home, Kanda will make you some tea to help you relax. He’ll grumble about how he should have shredded them while he sits down with you pulled into his arms.

Lavi

Lavi notices them before you do, the predatory like stare and the sly smirk. He’s seen how this plays out and he hates it a little more each time.

As the cat caller approaches, words ready on their tongue, Lavi pulls you into his chest. You’re a bit confused. He’s got one hand on your waist and the other over your ear while the other ear is pressed into his jacket. It’s all muffled so you can’t really hear what’s being said. However, you can feel the booming in Lavi’s chest and you know he’s not happy.

It’s hard to tell but you catch it out of the corner of your eye, someone walking away and Lavi relaxes. You ask him what’s going on but he just smiles and says it’s nothing.

»She is the one who prepares breakfast.

»Lenalee is a good cook. Her strength is desserts, definitely.

»This good girl is going to bed ridiculously early. Advice from the wise, do not wake her up.

»She sings in the shower and has a really pretty voice. But don't mention it to her. She only does it because she thinks she can't be heard.

»Lenalee is quite clean and tidy. And you better keep things like that. I have a slight suspicion that she doesn't like it messy.

»She is quite versatile at bedtime. Whether she's the big spoon or the small spoon depends on her mood.

»There are days when she doesn't feel like doing anything and to kill time, she takes bubbles bath.

»He has a light sleep and an early morning appetite. He usually wakes up at strange times to eat.

»He knows how to cook, and actually, he can do it very well!! On more than one occasion he was able to surprise his s/o with a homemade dinner. Therefore, if his s/o doesn't enjoy cooking, he will do it without problems.

»He bathes every day in the morning.

»He may be a little messy with his things. Just a little bit.

»For this reason, he orders often but he's simply unable to keep his space clean.

»On cold/rainy days, he will make chocolate and try to convince his s/o to read something for him while they cuddle in bed. Or they can also play cards.

»When it's hot, he throws himself on the floor wearing only his underwear and fills the fridge with ice cream.

»Make up for the fact that he doesn't know how to cook by doing the rest of the chores. Although he often complains.

»His space is a M E S S. Seriously. There are books everywhere and cups of coffee/tea that have been there only God knows how long.

»He bathes once every two days. Except but summer when he takes showers every day.

»Every time he takes a bath he will be in the bathroom for about two hours.

»He definitely would read to his s/o before sleeping if they ask him to.

»He's big spoon material, but he has no preference! Lavi would adjust to his s/o wishes.

»He wakes up every day at the same time without the need for the alarm. Seriously, the moment the clock strikes at 8 o'clock he opens his eyes.

»He can easily make simple recipes but unfortunately he doesn't have what it takes to cook elaborate dishes.

»Prepare tea for him and his s/o before bedtime.

»He showers every day before going to sleep and takes no more than 20 minutes.

»He's tidy and can keep his area neat for weeks.

»No one knows this, but he has a lot of flowering plants and bushes. For your sake, don't touch them unless he asks you to.

»He will never admit it, but he likes when his s/o read/sing for him.

»He's not a big fan of sleeping hugged, but if his s/o wants to rest in his chest, he wouldn't object.

»I will not say that he wakes up at 4 a.m. but definitely the type of guy that woke up before 6 a.m. He is cautious to not wake his s/o when he gets out of bed.

»He will take breakfast to his s/o whenever he has the opportunity and will try to save space to be able to eat with them.

»I don't think it's necessary to say this, but he's a great cook. He cooks, and his s/o cleans. The perfect couple.

»He's also very clean and tidy. I want to believe that he has an allergy, to dust or something, so he's forced to keep his space constantly clean. Please, don't be messy. He may get in a bad mood.

»Take quick showers in the morning and long baths before dinner (He doesn't necessarily do both the same day, although he would like to).

»He likes to read and bake, so there is a lot of that on his days off.

»Probably on especially cold days, snuggle up with his s/o to read. However, his s/o has to insist.

Headcanon with Allen, Kanda and Lavi with their S/O on Mission.

Allen:

☆ is very worried at first but as soon as you sit in the train he looks forward to your time together

☆ In the hotel, he suggests sleeping together in a room.

☆ but as innocent as our little cinnamon is, he means sleeping  in the same room but not in the same bed. Now imagine our poor Allen if he just  stand in front of a queen-size bed.

☆ of course you tease him and say he would have planned it from the start. And he denies this with a red head and tries to explain with stammering and waving arms that he has no intention in this direction.

☆ In a fight with Akumas, he tries to leave you out as best he can and and  to kill them alone. but if that is not possible and you get into a fight then he worries and tries to be with you as soon as possible

☆ back in the black order his worry and tension subsides and he only wants to lie in bed with you and rest.

Kanda:

▪ Kanda is not a big fan of mixing private and work, so you have to be able to take care of yourself. It would be annoying for him if you would only rely on him

▪ Kanda needs to know that you are fine if he is not around, so he is looking for someone on a similar level as him in a partner.

▪ On the train he is silent as always, but he likes it when you talk to him. Your voice calms him down and he always learns something new about you

▪ In the hotel he booked separate rooms but didn't find it bad if there was only one left. but if there is only one bed, he shows himself unaffected but is more than nervous on the  inside.

▪ Even if he separates private and work, he appreciates the undisturbed time with you. As long as you are not in a fight or inquiries, he has nothing against togetherness.

▪ back in the black order he expects professionalism and a distance. In the room you can keep him company and rest there with him on what he insists to make sure that you also recover your strength.

Lavi:

♡ Lavi sees it much like Allen. He doesn't like letting you fight alone and always tries to strengthen your back. Lavi needs someone who knows his limits and does not plunge into daring battles.

♡ It is important to him that you can pull back and leave the rest to him when you reach your limits. You have to trust him and he has to be able to trust you.

♡ It is never quiet with him on your train journeys. there is a lot of laughing and joking. Sometimes when you don't feel like talking you can read in pleasant silence.

♡ in the hotel, lavi immediately requests a room with only one bed. this daredevil doesn't even try to hide his intention instead he grins mischievously at you and makes sure that everyone knows that you are together.

♡ Sometimes or always lavi forgets that you are only in the hotel because of your mission then you have to stop him at his approaches. Then he pouts a little but then sets out to finish the mission.

♡ At headquarters, he follows you to the room and just lies down with you. While you want to sleep, he has other plans
