I call them Ocira. They're a sort of combination of seals and octopus. They're pseudo-eusocial and very kind

That wrinkly thing on their chest are their gills, which they can use to express certain emotions.

Their "teeth" are truly spines that can be raised to eat meat, or flattened to chomp plants.

To communicate, they do a sort of drumming and pinching of their swim bladders for different tones and squeaks.

They live on an ocean planet, in shallow, warm waters around reefs.

I might draw them more and tell more about them 😸

Versicolor Clathrataceros

Funny aliens I made up. I should probably come up with a more common name but this is the human-given scientific name for them, since they don't have a verbal language. It roughly translates to 'multicolored lattice-horns' (according to wikipedia). They are highly intelligent, social creatures, and find humans to be an interesting species.

i was bored working out earlier and started designing a new oc in my head. her name is telsin, she is a jedi who was knighted about a year before order 66. she was on a diplomatic mission to toydaria without a clone escort during the massacres, so she survived. she fled to an outer rim planet called imlo and was recruited by saw gerrerra’s rebel group after leading a riot against imperial occupation. she is driven by her anger at the empire for its destruction of her people and her tactics would probably not be approved by the jedi order but at this point the jedi order is gone so whatever lol

But in general, it is a rather passive (not without the influence of people on it) captured unknown predator. The only beast to which the Shrimp is allowed, which the lil xenomorph is happy about, since he can at least contact someone, even if it is not a xenomorph
