La‘vii is one of our main characters, a retired Zaronic security officer. He‘ll play an important role in the open-ended comic we plan to make about our universe, which will be told from the perspective of the Artox Trahelis crew members and Eight as the protagonist. I got this comment on the picture of the Caretaker's new design

Well, I'm planning to make a visual novel about my wizard OCs but aside from that, I don't think I'm gonna make a video game any time soon. I have neither the means nor the knowledge to make the game I'd want to make.

I did start to wonder what role the Caretaker would have in a video game because of this comment. I considered making her a shopkeeper NPC.

The problem is she has no reason to charge money for anything. She can just magically make whatever she wants.

NEW ALIEN

I call them Ocira. They're a sort of combination of seals and octopus. They're pseudo-eusocial and very kind

That wrinkly thing on their chest are their gills, which they can use to express certain emotions.

Their "teeth" are truly spines that can be raised to eat meat, or flattened to chomp plants.

To communicate, they do a sort of drumming and pinching of their swim bladders for different tones and squeaks.

They live on an ocean planet, in shallow, warm waters around reefs.

I might draw them more and tell more about them 😸
