You will play as the main character, who is fresh out of medical school and getting ready for your new job! Let's hope whatever it is you survive it.. and that surviving isn't worse than the alternative!

Lial is outgoing, bubbly and affectionate. He loves his job and is eager to take you under his wing! But maybe he enjoys what he does a little too much..

He grew up alone with his father in a small town in the middle of nowhere midwest. His dad was distant, and had a habit of bringing home something other than animals on his hunting trips. Teaching Lial how to take care of a kill was their only point of bonding. After his fathers passing, Lial was eager to get out into the world and make an impact of his own. And what better place to do his own hunting than in the medical field?

Val is loud, confident, and commanding. They're excited to give their patients the care they need, even if those patients don't know they need it yet. And with you as their obedient helper! As long as they don't decide you need treatment next..

They were turned into a vampire in the 1600s, and remember none of their life previously. They turned to living as a plague doctor as an effort to keep themself both hidden and fed, but after people started realizing they had a much lower mortality rate (due to their unique methods), they gained popularity and a small cult following. But now that modern medicine has advanced without them, they've been long forgotten in the public eye. And they're determined to show everyone they deserve to be remembered.

Zhivkov is professional, curt, and distrusting. It's hard to tell if they're mean, or just bad at social interaction. Whichever it is, they seem pretty serious about their job. Probably best not to get in their way..

They previously worked for a much more above ground institute with their ex fiance. They both decided to smuggle some of their test subjects out of work to do some studying without any red tape, which worked for a while. But when they had a falling out with each other that lead to the killing of one of the subjects, their partner confessed everything to the institute. Zhivkov was sentenced to jail time, but a new, shadier institute made some deals in order to have them work there instead of rotting in prison. And this time, they're not letting anything get in the way of doing their job.

Indrid is patient, kind, and withdrawn. He seems so thrilled to have a new assistant to show around! Just hope you can earn his trust as much as his affection..

He was originally a shepherd in the 1200s, working on a small farm with his family. Until he met his now ex, Dahlia. She turned him into an angel of death shortly after they met, and they spent a long time together. But eventually their differences drove each other apart, and he left to start his own morgue to guide souls on to their own afterlife in peace.

Once again, I am still very early in the process and will probably be taking things slow, especially since I've never made a game like this before. Any time I update this list I will try to remember to reblog it with the new additions!

i figured I'd shoot in an ask about your guys for the ask game thing you reblogged! anyway for zhivkov 4 (knows there's likely several but what do you think is The Most Significant?? :3c), 14, & 17 and then for val 6 & 11? it's me btw, @tinyfriendlyfox

OO ok ok, this is going to take me a minute to think about hold on ZHIVKOV 4 - Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?: god this one is tough bc it is so like. subjective. I do think there is one very specific incident, but it is. so very specifically something they were at the fault of.

They put their research before the life of one of their test subjects when they found out it might die before they could do the research they were trying to get from it. they were convinced they could make a medical breakthrough on dealing with heart problems if they had more time to study it, but if the test subject died before they could they wouldn't have anything.

at a certain point, after arguing with their work/life partner for a very long time about what to do, they decided they knew what was best, and blackmailed their partner into transplanting the subjects organs into themself, resulting in that subject dying, their partner being traumatized by being at fault of that test subjects death, nearly their own death, and their own physical disabling. they did this out of severe panic and sleep deprivation, but it was very much a decision they made all on their own.

And honestly a lot of people know. it ended up being a huge scandal for the company they worked at, which was already big, and it alienated them from every person they knew. they haven't talked to their ex partner/fiance since. both physically and emotionally, they will never recover from what they did. did not intend to write this much for this one but oh well lol ^^ 14 - Does your character remember names or faces easier?: definitely names, unlike myself lol. they're very memory based with their work(partially because they cannot stay organized to save their life), but not very much of a visual thinker. so its become second nature for them to recognize names quickly 17 - What was your character’s favorite toy as a child?: honestly it was probably some kind of puzzle toy. they would've been the kind of kid who bragged about how fast they can solve a rubix cube VAL 6 - Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?: being alone. it doesn't really matter what the dream is about, but its very rare that they aren't completely alone in dreams. occasionally they'll be in danger from someone, but even then its more the idea of a person that an actual person. they've always have a hard time imagining themself on the same level as other people, not always less than or better than, but it always feels wrong to them 11 - In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?: the night they were turned. the vampire that did it didn't stay long enough for them to talk to about anything, so they barely understood what was happening. they expected to die in that encounter, but being alive afterwards and not understanding what was happening with no one to go to for help was much more terrifying

Going to run my murder ocs through tpof and possibly the btd games as well to see what they get! So far:

Zhivkov got chosen by Derek, killed Komodo and Dragon, and got the ending "You Played With Fireworks" trying to leave a poisoned canteen at camp lol

And Indrid chose to go with Celia (would have gone with Mason if he didnt choose), was very good for her, but in the end got "You Killed For Your Freedom" she just dug a liiittle too deep into some of his past trauma..

played Val !! they ended up picking Ren, and became his pet <3 I think they'd get along pretty well if I'm honest, I'm sure they'd have fun working for him at the very least I might draw a sketch of each of these once I'm done :o all thats left now is Lial!
