Altus-NEVER
An abysmal wine, even beyond what my vocabulary is capable of describing. Smells like musty vague fruit, soiled with armpits. Tastes dead and lifeless… A sharp nothingness combined with sultry whore-scabs and piquant battery acid. Whatever happened here is not worth the deep discount. NO on every level.2019 Altus @meruswinery Red blend Alexander Valley 13.8

In addition to wine tours, Sonoma County has a plethora of activities outside of the vineyards. Take some time to explore the quaint towns of Healdsburg, Sonoma, and Glen Ellen in Sonoma. These towns are full of gourmet restaurants, boutique stores, and art galleries. Visit the Sonoma State Historic Park, meander about the historic Sonoma Plaza, or browse the lively farmers' markets for handcrafted items and fresh local produce.
Advice for an Exceptional Wine Tour
Make a strategy: Reservations are often required at vineyards, particularly for special tours and tastings. To guarantee you get the most out of your trip, make sure to plan your itinerary.
Take It Slowly: It can be tempting to visit as many wineries as you can when there are so many to choose from. Nonetheless, your tour will be more pleasurable if you take your time and enjoy the moment at each winery.
Drink lots of water and eat healthily: As wine might dry you, make sure you keep yourself nourished all day long by drinking lots of water. You will get more out of the experience and be able to taste more wine if you pair it with food.
Benefit from Extra Services: Wine Country Limousines provides services including cheese and wine pairings, snack baskets, and customized tours. Your wine tour can be enhanced and made even more memorable with these options.
Seize those Times: Remember to pack your smartphone or camera so you can record the breathtaking views and special moments from your wine tour. There are beautiful locations for pictures at several wineries.

Visiting a wine tasting room? Remember these factors.
After you tour Geyserville CA wineries, you usually end up at the wine tasting room. Then again, the wine sampling room might be the spot you invest all your energy during your visit on the off chance that you lean toward not to visit the winery or if a visit isn't accessible.
Tasting Rooms Healdsburg is the gateway to your winery's brand and the #1 place to convert customers to wine club individuals. Giving a superlative accommodation experience is foremost. One key bit of innovation that can improve the tasting room is a versatile retail location framework. As a report by Boston Retail accomplices uncovered, 300% more retailers intend to convey a portable POS framework in the following two years. Truth be told, the development of internet shopping really expands the requirement for this innovation.
Tasting Rooms Healdsburg, which can be very simple or very elaborate, is the winery’s reception area for guests. You'll see a bar where tests of the winery's wines are accessible for tasting. The individuals behind the bar who pour the examples are generally learned about their wines. These individuals may likewise be educated about wine when all is said in done, contingent upon the person. Tastes of non-mixed drinks, for example, grape juice, are typically likewise accessible for youngsters or nondrinkers.
Tumblr media
Keep the following information in mind, if you plan to visit Geyserville CA wineries:
Tasting fees: Many years ago, you could taste wines in tasting spaces for no charge, yet today the standard is to charge guests a little charge for each taste, shifting from two or three dollars up to $10 for exceptionally unique costly wines. Sometimes Geyserville CA wineries charge you for the glass that you use instead of charging for the wine and you find a good pace glass. In some cases, you can apply the whole tasting charge toward the expense of a jug that you buy.
Picking wines to taste: Depending on what number of wines a winery has, certain wines may be accessible on specific days, or all the wines may be accessible for tasting constantly. Here and there as opposed to tasting the wines individually, you can taste a trip of wines, a gathering of a few wines (for the most part three or four) that you test one next to the other to comprehend the distinctions among them.
Read Also Best ways to please your guests on your wedding day
Usually, the personnel at Tasting Rooms Healdsburg expects you to request a particular wine or type of wine or sort of wine to taste. They will likely serve you something that you'll like so you'll choose to buy that wine. Beset up to talk about your preferences in wine so they can assist you with finding a wine that energizes you.
Special offers: Many Geyserville CA wineries have certain wines that they sell only in their tasting room, not in wine shops or cafés. These wines are typically little creation things, for example, wines from strange grape assortments or trail mixes. It's a smart thought to ask whether any such wines are accessible, on the grounds that this is your lone opportunity to taste them — and you sound like an insider for inquiring.
Tumblr media
The blessing shop: Many wine sampling rooms additionally house a blessing shop. The blessing shops can be dynamite. You'll likely discover wine books, wine devices (corkscrews, no-dribble pouring guides, liners, and such), china, covers, shirts, and other attire, and baseball tops. These things can be incredible tokens of your visit, also astute endowments.
It's impossible for your staff at different Geyserville CA wineries to remember the personal details of all your dedicated clients. Be that as it may, nothing beats the individual bit of being welcomed by your first name, or having your server recollect your preferred wine. Utilizing an answer that incorporates client relationships with the executives (CRM) instruments legitimately into the retail location is an unquestionable requirement for wineries hoping to convey superlative visitor encounters.
With us, your client information - including wine club participation, buy history, staff notes and that's only the tip of the iceberg - is effectively accessible to each individual from your neighborliness group, so they can offer the customized service that creates deep customer loyalty.

The Last Weekend In June : ep68
One of the nice things about motorcycle touring is that you don’t have to hit the road at the crack of dawn. If you do, you’ll just freeze your ass off. So there’s no sense in doing that. Mornings are better spent sleeping in with a friend and enjoying the morning in other ways.
Our B&B offers coffee and a home cooked breakfast, but Anastasia is insistent upon one last trip to Bovine Bakery. It’s the linguini stir stick that brings her back, I’m sure of it.
The highway leading north out of Point Reyes Station is spectacular. It’s twisty, which is ideal for a motorcycle, but it’s also very scenic following Tomales Bay and often shaded under a canopy of eucalyptus. The first landmark we pass is Hog Island Oyster Co. Since we had our fill of oysters last night, and since champaign and motorcycling don’t mix, we’ll save a visit here for another day. Next stop along our route is Bodega Bay. We stop at the Potter Schoolhouse and St. Teresa of Avila Church, both filming locations of Alfred Hitchcock’s film “The Birds.” Since neither of us have seen The Birds, both locations are pretty anticlimactic. Anastasia does some googling, and we decide a short hike along the cliffs overlooking Bodega Head are a better option.
And it is.
From Bodega, we take Highway 116 east to Guerneville, and then Westside road right through the heart of wine country to Healdsburg where our hotel is located, where we’ll spend the afternoon wine tasting.
Healdsburg Plaza is a one square city block green park at the center of downtown Healdsburg. Surrounding the park there are more restaurants and wine tasting rooms that you can count. With the Ducati parked for the day at the hotel a couple of blocks away, we indulge in an afternoon of wine tasting. It is terrifically enjoyable and we’re both in great spirits. In this moment, Anastasia wants for nothing and is once again her philosophical self. We are enjoying the constant close companionship.
Sunday morning, we head north into wine country on Dry Creek Road, then on to Geyserville, south through Alexander Valley, and then to Calistoga for lunch. From Calistoga you have to make a choice, head back to the city on the freeway, or go through Napa Valley. With the “Funner Option Girl” on the back of the bike, we choose Napa Valley and head south through St. Helena, Oakville, Yountville, Napa and then home.
Three days on the back of a little motorcycle is a lot to ask of anyone and by the time we reach my house, we’re both pretty exhausted. The wind battering our skin on the ride has left our nervous systems in tatters. Ana melts into the sofa like an ice cube melting on hot asphalt.
Ana: I need a shower
Me: That’s the last thing you need. Your skin is on stimuli overload. Let me show you what you need.
I take Ana by the hand and lift her off of the couch and take her to the bedroom. “Don’t move and don’t say a word” I whisper in her ear as she stands in the middle of the bedroom. Then, with the precision of a surgeon, I begin to undress her. First I walk around behind her and slip her motorcycle jacket off of her shoulders. Then I hold her hands up over her head so I can lift off her shirt. Then I unbutton her jeans and carefully remove them, and continue on until she’s completely nude. Then I turn down the sheets and motion for her to get under the covers. I pull the shades closed so that the room is dark and then quickly undress and slip under the covers and lie next to her.
We’re both lying flat on our backs. I slide my hand under the covers until it meets hers. We lock pinky fingers and then lay in complete silence while our nervous systems decompress and return to normal. After a good long while, 45 minutes at least, our bodies have begun to recover from the ride. Ana rolls over toward me, nuzzles her head into my chest, and wraps her arms around me. I kiss her on her forehead, whisper that I love her, and then we both fall deep asleep.

North Sonoma County wineries are among some of the finest in California and are located in one of the premier grape growing regions of the world – the Chalk Hill Valley, Dry Creek Valley and the Alexander Valley. Famous in particular for outstanding Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir, North Sonoma County wineries are also known for fine Merlot and Zinfandel wines. While there are many large, well-known wineries in the region, we focus on smaller, more intimate wineries offering delicious, unique wines in order to provide a special experience for our guests.

Zinfidelity
A scarily fruit-forward nose on initial pour–I had a bit of an eye-rolling moment–but with air it settles down into something quite elegant. Goldschmidt makes a pretty decent wine, plus “Alexander Valley” and a lower-than-usual alcohol were all grabbing-points for me to try this well-priced wine (Zin is basically the ONLY variety I check ABV on before buying). Nice rosy transparency in the glass,…

THURSDAY NIGHT TASTING 6-8 PM:  BEDROCK WINE COMPANY!!!
Zinfandel Dynasty: Bedrock Wine Company’s Deep American Roots
Quiet revolutionary Morgan-Twain Peterson started making wine when he was five years old! He is the son of California legend Joel Peterson. With his “partner-in-crime" Chris Cottrell, Morgan makes some this country's most visionary wines under the Bedrock label. Dandelion’s own Matt Nelsen works with him as well, assisting with harvests and also creating video evidence of the work they’re doing. Matt will be behind the Lions Club Bar tonight to walk you through some of this amazing wine and we’ll be chilling in the AC, discussing the terroir that makes it all happen. Please join us for an eye-opening and delicious deep dive into these unique American beauties.  WINE, BREAD, CHEESE, and VINYL!
Bedrock Wine Co, Ode to Lulu Sonoma Valley Rose 2018
The first taste of the wonderful 2018 vintage. With this offering, owner/winemaker Morgan Twain-Peterson has paid homage to Lulu Peyroud of Domaine Tempier, an estate that fashions great Bandol rosés. This blend of 50% old vine Mourvedre, 30% old-vine Carignan and 20% Grenache from vines planted between 1888 and 1922 is a killer, strikingly Provencal-style rose. It possesses a light pink color, crisp acids, medium to full-bodied flavors, and tremendous intensity as well as character. Fresh, perfumed, bright, clean, dense, and delicious. $25
Bedrock Wine Co, Old Vine Zinfandel 2017
Delicious, honestly made Zinfandel at a reasonable price is a tall order, but Morgan & Chris come through vintage after vintage. In 2017, they were able to put extra focus on the great quality in Contra Costa County (27%), Dry Creek (12%), Sonoma Valley (17%), Alexander Valley (11%), and Lodi (10%) to create a delicious, balanced and juicy wine. Old-school meets new, with just enough polish and plumpness to match the binary rusticity. Offering expressive black cherry, smoky anise and white pepper flavors. $27
Bedrock Wine Co, Lorenzo's Heritage Dry Creek Valley 2016
From vines at Teldeschi Ranch, this is a muscular and dense wine composed of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Carignan along with small amounts of field-blended Cinsault, Peloursin and Vaccarese. The richness of Dry Creek Zinfandel is balanced here by elegant, knife-like Carignan and feral, wild Petite Sirah that come from distinct blocks at John Teldeschi’s ranch. This wine should give years of enjoyment as the layers begin to unfurl. Full-bodied with copious notes of charcuterie, roasted meat, Provencal herbs, lavender and spice box. Powerful, brooding and explosive, Lorenzo has a lot to say. $50
Bedrock Wine Co, Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Montecillo Vineyard 2016
Powerful and tightly wound, the 2016 is nevertheless quite expressive, with tremendous aromatic and flavor intensity to match the firm, hillside tannins. Farmed by Chuy Ordaz, this survivor Cabernet Sauvignon site makes intense, old-school, mountain Cab that retains great refinement. The 2016 is a classic example of the site, showing the gorgeous cassis, pipe tobacco, camphor and pepper. Hints of cedar, tobacco, licorice and leather gradually develop in the glass. $100
