The sfth boys just doing stuff they would normally do together and then afterwards realizing that it doesn’t fit with their character in the scene and clarifying that it wasn’t meant to be sexy but always always after the fact because it wasn’t just second nature for Tom to brush away a strand of Luke’s hair because it seemed like it was bothering him and oh that might’ve implied something it wasn’t supposed to and Sam hadn’t meant for his old man to be creepy when he had grabbed AJs arm to stabilize him it was just his normal reaction and omfg they’re so cute 

They’re good actors but sometimes it’s hard to turn off that natural response

like sam bullshits his way through facts, so tom and luke can take joy in correcting his mistakes. but correcting aj only brings the others suffering because most of the time, aj himself doesn't necessarily believe anything that comes from his mouth. the man is just saying words recreationally. which also happens to establish the reality of the world the other three exist in.

things i love about when the sfth boys break:

luke is most likely to absolutely fold and we love him for that. loud laughter from offstage always. who needs a audience when you've got luke. also he's pretty good at snapping back into character lol

sam does the most hilarious expressions when he's trying to hold back his laughs lmfaoo. when he breaks he breaks HARD

aj has such a brilliant smile?? like i'm not even joking he looks like a model every time he flashes a grin after he says smth funny. it's a very nice smile ok

tom scrunches up his entire face bc he refuses to laugh in a scene and it's so endearing. rarely do we get the low chuckle when he's offstage and i love it when we do
