Synopsis: (Swore I had one, but uh, apparently not!)

The 141 Infernal Hunters are a renowned group of demons, known for their upholding of contracts and brutal hunts in the Eternal Realm. At the end of one of these hunts, Kyle Garrick accepts a soul contract that's bound to keep him on his toes. Rosalind Henderson has everything they'd ever want - a decent job, a respectable side gig, and an otherwise quiet life. But an offhanded plea over drinks with a friend when griping about the week's bullshit is set to turn her entire life on her head. Humans really should watch their mouths and stop making promises their souls can't cash. After all, contracting your eternity to a demon has drawbacks that might just outweigh the benefits.

I was wondering how you'd describe Madelline in comparison to Emma and Olivia and also what song you think best fits her?

I heard that song and was like “this is it, this is the mood”.

So Madeline is more of the ‘free spirit’ compared to Olivia and Emma. She’s a younger sister by a decent amount of years compared to her ‘stereotypical eldest daughter’ sister. Always held in comparison to her sister by her parents, which is not fair. It wasn’t malicious just more of exasperation as to how they could be so different.

She hasn’t quite figured out her life yet (I mean I didn’t know much either at 27…still don’t if we’re being honest) and has spent much of her adult life just coasting through and making it work. She’s got some maturing to do, which is going to happen pretty rapidly in this story since she doesn’t have much choice. Especially since she’s got to look out for E (you’ll meet E pretty quickly in the first chapter).

As for songs I have a few that sort of have bits and pieces that go with her. Some right away some that will come into play further into the story.

Life Goes On

Penelope was true to her word. She did not keep Ricardo from his daughter. Most of the time when he called, she allowed him to come over and spend time with Rosie. While they bonded, she'd get some much needed her time in. He'd run some flash cards with Rosie and Penelope would garden, eat her meal hot, take a shower by herself.

They'd both graduated finally and become adults. Penelope had a handle on it by now, but now that she wasn't in school it was time for a real job. She saw on opening at an art gallery in Henford-on-Bagley that she took up. It didn't pay much, but she was still selling her flowers as her main income.

As far as she knew, Ricardo still lived at home with his parents. He never brought them up, though Penelope would have been happy to let him take Rosalie for a few hours to meet them. Maybe if he caught her in a brave and generous mood, she'd let him have her overnight. They didn't say it out loud because Penelope really didn't want to hear it, but it was assumed that Lily and Ricardo were a hot item nowadays.

Penelope was bringing a grilled cheese up for Rosalie to eat. Ricardo had just finished all the flashcards he'd brough with Rosalie and was roughhousing with her. Penelope let them continue playing for a few moments before breaking it up.

"Hey Ricky, she needs to eat," Penelope said, handing the plate down to her daughter. "It's getting late and I still need to give her a bath and then get her in B-E-D before she becomes a different toddler."

Rosalie babbled out a mushy thank you and tottered off to eat. Ricky waved goodnight to his daughter's back as she was too excited about her gooey dinner to say goodbye to Dad. "It's a shame, I hate saying goodbye to her."

"Yeah, well, things you should have thought about before porking Lily."

Ricardo sighed. "Are we really going to do this?"

Penelope swallowed a bitter reply. "No. No we aren't, I'm sorry."

"I should be heading home," he said. "Hug for the road?"

"No thanks. I don't want to have to take another shower today."

Okay, maybe she was still a little bitter.

i've mentioned her often at this point, but lizzy mcalpine!!! give me a minute and five seconds flat are both fantastic and she has such a lovely voice (both in her singing and her writing). gabrielle aplin! particularly english rain and dear happy, but i adore her generally. sasha alex sloan is great and she gets those sad girl vibes. ingrid andress. ingrid michaelson. rae morris. rosi golan. mindy gledhill. cider sky. echosmith. emily hearn! maisie peters. griff! sara bareilles!!! (i love ALL of sara's albums, but kaleidoscope heart probably remains my favorite, though i'd recommend amidst the chaos for folklore-esque vibes). a few years ago, i was really into ruelle, and i listened to her throughout a time of heartbreak, so it's hard for me to go back to now, but i would still always recommend her for etherealness.

on the poppier side, carly rae jepsen, her most recent album the loneliest time is terrific. joanne and chromatica by lady gaga were underrated imo (also the a star is born soundtrack!). foxes. marina. you're probably familiar with florence + the machine, but i would be remiss not to mention ceremonials. halsey i'm sure goes without saying. lorde (melodrama you will always be a masterpiece). aly & aj.

these are slight throwbacks, but mandy moore's album wild hope is one of my favorites ever, it's beautiful (and very swiftian imo), amanda leigh is good too. idk if she's still making music, but angel taylor's album love travels. norah jones. marié digby. a fine frenzy! i loved her so much, one cell in the sea was everything, and bomb in a birdcage and pines...her music will calm your spirit!

But there has to be some mystery in the new girl. Hahahahahahahahah! Cliff Hanger. I know I hate them too, but it's a good way to get someone to come back next week. It was just a good place to stop. I was going to put more in but not enough time. Next week find out how Motoki and Terra Rose know each other. My name in there is Earth_Angel_001, I haven't been there lately, but I plan to start coming more. There is more. SEE I TOLD YOU IT WAS LONG! This chapter makes up for missing last weeks deadline. I'm just use to using the English names. I'M STARTING RIGHT WHERE I LEFT OFF! Terra's point of view and everything. The maze in the last chapter was important.. I shouldn't give hints like this, but I can't help it. You won't find out why the maze was so important until later on in the story though. That is it. I don't have the time to add anymore. For part seven: (1/29/01) Gomen. I didn't get this chapter out last week, people. I didn't even start it until Sunday. Major writer's block. I had three options and I didn't know which one I wanted to write. Today you get a new character and has Usagi found someone to replace replace Mamoru? I'm not sure if I have to do this, but I don't own Mr. Wonka. I really wish I did, then I could have all the chocolate in the world and be on a major sugar rush with all my friends, then again my friends might take the candy away from me. I can get a little to hyper. I have only gotten one reply on the: "WHO DO YOU THINK SOLAR FLARE IS?" question. Its a very important question. I need to know who you think it is because it helps me decide what's going to happen next and how long I should wait to tell you his identity. So what do you all think? :::Hehe::: ya get it??? Please tell me you get it. Actually the whole blowing up the lab experiment is true. I did that last year in IPS. Nobody wanted to be my lab partner after that. I was burning the stuff in the test tube with the thermometer and I just let the thing burn even when there was hardly nothing in the tube and the whole thing just blew up. Glass flew everywhere, smoke came billowing out and it made such a noise the science teacher in the other room came running in. Alright, I'm sure you don't want to hear this...back to the story.

AN: I describing Terra's room because I'm bored. I was going to call Solar Flare the Sunlight Knight, ya get it? I wanted to be original though. Also, hehehe.. breeches, such a funny old word. I prefer pants, but hey it was the olden days. Also, also, can you smell the rain? I can and I can also feel when its going to rain. Not in my bones or anything. Its just a feeling. Prologue

A small girl about the age of three or four, with short, spiral midnight black hair and eyes as black as night was being wheeled into a hospital on a gurney. Tears streamed down her face.

"Where is my brother? What happened to my parents?"

But still the people over her would not answer.

"Where are they? Tell me?"

But they remained silent.

Her eyes refused to stay open and she slipped away into sleep. Later, she is in a hospital room. The doctors enter.

"I'm sorry to tell you that your parents didn't make it. You were lucky you came out with a few bruises. Since you have no know relatives you will have to live in an orphanage."

Tears fall freely down the little girls face, "What about my brother?"

At this the doctor looks at her funny. "Sweetie, you don't have a brother."

The girl's eyes widen, "I do too have a brother! I do! He saved me. Your lying! You just want to separate us!" The girl falls down sobbing on her bed.

"You'll leave for the orphanage tomorrow. I want to run a few more tests."
