Great fight! No idea how one judge gave Woodson 3 rounds. Had Caceres winning 2-1.

Woodson and his ridiculous 6'2 featherweight frame got off to a solid start. Caceres was stuck out at range and struggled landing clean against the longer fighter and Woodson is good in open space about not being there to hit back. The problems came in the 2nd and 3rd when Caceres started pressuring behind combos. Woodson has a habit of hanging out along the fence and just covering up before trying to escape out the side. Caceres did some really good work once he realized he could push Woodson backwards. That lead hook to the body is a thing of beauty and he needs to throw it more because that was doing damage. Again, had him winning the last two rounds.

Great fight! Knew these two would deliver when I saw this fight booked. Two guys with a lot of experience fighting guys who fight like one another. Caceres ate Pineda’s lunch to the body. Was throwing these tricky big winding uppercuts to the body that were hurting Pineda. When he was pressing, he was doing a great job of out feinting Pineda and then following up with huge power shots. There were more than a handful of times where Pineda would try to explode forward and Caceres used his feet to evade while countering. Pineda fought through that though. Realized if he started grappling exchanges with Caceres, he could get top control time. At one point, Caceres feinted like he was going to throw that big wind up body shot but Pineda used it as an opportunity to take Alex down. He also had success on the feet. Landed a huge overhand that dropped Caceres in the third. But it wasn’t enough.

Total skill vs will type war as Alex Caceres and Martin Bravo just decide to get the shit punched out of one another. Alex Caceres comes out in the first round and outstrikes Bravo early on while also getting outwrestled. Bravo just kept marching into Caceres' perfectly timed left hands over and over, getting dropped once and wobbled twice in the second round. He got his neck grabbed at one point in the second but got out of it. The third round is true "Go and kill me see if I give a fuck" type mentality. Bravo just kept pushing forward the entire time as Caceres' legs finally gave out. Bravo just had no power because he was catching Caceres clean over and over and over. Dude's a tank and a half. Caceres just had one too many tools in the arsenal to lose this one but go out of your way to see it. Fucking nutso fight.
