I saw this movie last week with my wife and it was really amazing!

Using the series-like plot of a heroic male nurse who has to disobey the instructions of his (neo-liberal oriented) hierarchy to keep on doing a decent and human work, the film achieves to draw a complex picture of intimate and interpersonal relationships in post-Soviet Russia. From the menaced equilibrium of a loving couple to the everyday interactions between colleagues and/or strangers in the hospital and different public spaces, the characters' negociation of these situations lead to unexpected outcomes, not irremediably tragic as it is too often the case with such premises.

For us it was probably one of the best Russian movies of this year with Zvyagintsev Loveless (although in a very different genre) ^^

can you translate some marina's interviews? or translate some iconic quotes shes said in general?

I don’t really follow actors/actor interviews in general and Marina in particular. (Maksim Kerin and Aleksandr Yatsenko are the only cast members for whom I’ve read any interviews at all.) So, I wouldn’t really know if she’s said any “iconic” quotes or which ones those would be. I could translate a shorter interview after I’m done with the subtitles, I suppose. But, again, I’d be kinda shooting in the dark, lol. If there’s any particular interview you’re thinking of, anon, I’d be willing to look it up and put it on my list as a potential future project.
