Pretty obviously a son of Hades (God of the dead, king of the underworld) - Cabin 13

He honestly sees himself in Nico from when he was younger, which is heartbreaking in so many ways :)

With Hazel, he admires her and her personality. Yet he doesn’t act like it, as always.

Yes he is in love with Soap, it is very much Emo Kid/Theatre Kid. Soap is really the only camper he hangs around, most are either scared of him or resent him for his father. Except for Soap of course.

John ‘Soap’ MacTavish

A son of Dionysus (God of wine-making, festivity, fertility, insanity, ritual madness, vegetation, orchards and fruits and religious ecstasy - according to Wikipedia) - Cabin 12

Aka the only kids that constantly see their godly parent. On a daily basis, whether that is for the better or worse

Soap and his relationship with Dionysus, or Mr. D, is fairly normal. They aren’t that close, but Dionysus actually knows his name. Even his nickname! Most of the time.. he does sometimes call him Shampoo by mistake.

Because of his father, he and his few siblings are cursed to Diet Coke. By that I mean, whenever one of the older cabin 13 kids attempts to steal some wine (because we all know they do) they are resulted with.. Diet Coke. “Thanks dad.”

He’s relatively close with Gaz, Ghost (obviously), Alex because I see it, and eventually that silly reckless kid, what was his name? Percy right? Or was it Perry.. he can never remember.

Alex Keller

Child of Aphrodite (Goddess of love, fertility, beauty, war and more that I couldn’t find) - Cabin 10

He and his siblings have a close bond, there are however a fair amount of them. Yet they do have each others back, and lots of gossip. Alex isn’t a huge fan of gaining information.. however he is the largest supplier in the cabin. He’s fairly close with everyone around camp, having a very relaxed relationship with all the younger and older kids. Giving him easy access to all knowledge as he’s been there a while.

However, he’s very close with Gaz, Farah, Hadir (yes he’s there), and even Alejandro and Rudy.

Soap: I feel like Soap would be Apollo, a very cheerful lad (lmao).

Laswell: I feel like she'd be a Demeter kid? Or Athena. She just kinda gives that sort of energy.

Nik: DIONYSUS!! I couldn't wait to write about this one because he is literally a child of Dionysus in my eyes!

Valeria: Either Hebe or Hecate. I'm leaning more to Hecate though.

tw: blood, death, suicidal thoughts. having been at deaths door so many times before even before coming to camp and taken upon the blessing of being titled the son of ares - pain has always followed. it was late, too late - he had left his phone behind so atticus, wyatt, remy and oliver won't track him. it was a stupid move, yes, but he wanted alone time, he wanted a moment with his father, hoping he can be heard - feel his presence, that warmth he craved from his blood.

standing before the statue of his father, he kneeled down before him as he laid the greataxe before him. tears streaming down his face as he pulled the hoodie back and the images of the demigods killing him over and over again started to play out. gasping for air, he can feel the sharp edges of their blades ripping into him over and over again - making him choke on his own blood. grasping onto his throat in that moment, he looked up at the statue and just began to sob.

"dad? -- i failed you... i failed them... i.... i broke the promise i gave to mother.. to you... to them... i .... " alejandro felt his chest hurting right were that dark mark was over his heart. still unclear what had happened to him - how was he still alive? "i wish... i wish i can go back and change what i did.. i shouldn't have eaten that.. i was so stupid.. iw as so fucking stupid.. i have always been stupid.. i just thought that what if he ate it and just got stronger.. i just... i was thinking of myself.. and not them... " sobbing even more, he held his chest even tighter.

"i don't know how i am alive.. i want to think it's you that saved me... a-again... but... why? why would you save a stupid fucking child like me.... i ,... dad.. please... please i don't want to die! i found my family.. i found them... i don't want to leave them... " his emotions were uncontrolable in that moment as he felt the weight of all his emotions taking over. the monster inside him for calm - scared as well, he needed to protect himself, he just got to a point where he felt happy to be alive.. always wishing for his death, for his own release of the pain that was caused to him. blaming ares, his father for it all when he got to camp - but having heard his voice, his praise - echoing in his ear, he felt that it had lost that.. his father was angry at him.

"oh gods... what have i done?" right there - there was that anger, that lost child that was always so fucking scared just unleashed in that moment. one of the most heart broken screams was let out as he fell forward - sobbing, not caring who might have heard him with how loud he had yelled, he didn't care. all he cared about was trying to reach his father, feel his touch, anything. "i'll do better, i'll do better for you, for mom, for them... i just... thank you... if... if.. that.. was you.. i ... " slowly looking back up, tears streaming down his face he slowly placed a hand down on his greataxe and took in a deep breath. "i hope you are still proud of me.. papa..." his words soft, calm - hopeful - his story doesn't end here. he's alive - he's still alive.

no  matter  what  happened  at  the  ranch  -  or  on  the  way  there,  the  bond  between  silas  &  alejandro  was  undeniable  in  a  way.  it  was  this  mutual  understanding  he  could  only  ever  find  with  very  few  people.  most  ...  wouldn't  understand  the  way  people  like  them  ticked.  to  them  it  was  as  simple  as calm  down,  you'll  be  fine  so  don't  act  up. but  truthfully,  it  wasn't  that  simple. 

when  violent  hearts  like  theirs  weren't  at  ease,  it  was  like  trying  to  stop  an  incoming  train  with  your  bare  hands. it  wasn't just  calming  down,  it  was  so  much  more  than  that. silas  got  it,  he  didn't  judge.  at  least  not  that,  he  did  judge  other  character  traits  the  young  man  paraded  around,  but  at  the  end  of  the  way,  he  was not  his  father. 

it'd  been  a  long  day,  a  long  work-out  session  they'd  shared &  silas  could  swear  he  was  getting  the  hang  of  his  axe's  weight.  the  kratos  cabin  might  not  be  the  prettiest  of  the  lot,  but  it  had  a  cute  little  patch  of  nature  in  front  of  it.  a  big  tree  silas  liked  napping  under,  solemnly  surrounded  by  grass &  the  sound  of  trees  creaking. yep. pretty  damn  nice &  some  people  were  allowed  to  share  that  peaceful  little  place  with  him. like  alejandro. 

hands  absentmindedly  played  with  the  ares  child's  short  hair,  it  was  just  too  comfortable  not  to  do  it  with  the  young  godling's  head  in  his  lap &  maybe  it'd  help  keep  the  youngster's  rage  at  bay  for  the  time  being.  silas  knew  how  it  went,  one  moment  everything  was  fine &  then...  yeah,  he  got  it. 

"breaks  ain't  nonsense.  they're  important,  let  your  brain  shut  off  an'  body  calm  down.  structure  ..  helps,  too.  train  at  the  same  time,  eat  at  the  same  time,  relax  at  the  same  time.  helps  keep  the  mind  at  ease.  mind  at  ease  means  less  chance  for  a  flare  up."

The sky was a dark indigo and the stars were already scattered among the heavens. It wasn't too late, but it always already the time where most of the camp had turned in for the day. Davon on the other hand had only woken up a couple hours ago and after getting ready for the night, he began his patrol around the camp to ensure all was well. He did this several times and as the midnight hour was upon them, he was passing by the cabin built for the child of Ares.

A soft smile touched his lips has he remembered the brief time he'd spent with Alejandro; a departure that Davon felt happened too soon but with him, he carried that memory of the other demigod's anger quelled to accept company. Though...he noticed that the light was still on within the cabin, as was the window opened. Funny...he thought with how rigorously Alejandro trained, he'd be passed out by now...

Rather than knock and disturb him, Davon decided to be sneaky and scaled up the building just to peep inside that window to ensure that his new friend was okay. Once he got to the window, he peeped inside of the room and saw that the son of War was still very much wide awake.

"Hey chulo," he spoke quietly to not completely startle the man. "Why are you still up? You really should get some rest. Still good for you regardless of that extra stamina you've got goin on now..."

Suggestions for the pjo au (feel free not to use these): I think Heather should be the kid of a minor god and be bitter about it. Maybe Nemesis? I think DJ could be a Persephone kid, and if Trent isn't an Apollo kid his mum could be one of the muses? Katie and Sadie would probably have twinning parents, maybe also the muses? Gwen and Duncan as kids of Zeus would be funny ngl you're right, especially if Zeus is Chris lol (does that make Chef Hera or Ganymede? Is Blainely Hera?) Eva is definitely a child of Ares or Enyo or some similar god, and I think you're spot on with Noah as an Athena child. Tbh Izzy could be anything, I thought maybe Dionysus as a godly parent just because her and Geoff as siblings would be funny, but she could also be a nymph, centaur, satyr or a dryad or smth. Justin, Lindsay, Beth and Alejandro could all be Aphrodite kids, I think Justin could be head counselor before Alejandro shows up and they have beef lol. Tyler could be a Hebe kid and that's the only reason he's still alive lol, Harold Cody and Ezekiel could all be Hermes kids, Bridgette could be the kid of some sea god like Oceanus or Kympoleia? I'm kind of stuck on Owen, Sierra and Leshawna but if I'd have to say then Leshawna Demeter, Owen Hypnos cause of his wacky dreams and Sierra Athena cause she can weave. alejandro had made it a daily need to go to his fathers statue. just connect with him, get to know him in a way that didn't involve a book as he was still trying to read, well learn to read. thanks to wyatt and atticus on taking their time to help him learn.

this was the place that he first came in and hated his father, wanted to kill him, blamed him for all the struggles and pain that was brought in his life. the man was a god, a fucking god and alejandro wanted to put blame on how things ended up making him the way he was. as time went on, more and more of that bond with his father began to grow. thankful, learning that all the pain, the anger - it was making him stronger, not weaker. -- even if at the moment he was still feeling slightly off balance.

turning to face the new boy at camp, he rolled his eyes. of course a new face would come in just in the middle of when things felt to be falling apart. people were moving on quick, maybe it was their way of coping sure - alejandro on the other hand, didn't know how to move on. so much death in his life, so many from his own hands - even still trying to recover from his own death that is still marked across his chest. thankfully as of late he's been covering himself up - not a trait that alejandro had, but he didn't want people to look at him, made him feel weak.

"godly parent -- it's kind of what we call them here... i .. " looking up at the statue of his father, ares, he smiled - there was a sense of pride, proud to be his son and the way it was a road he's still working on to be the best version of what it would really mean to be the child of war. "ares -- that's my father." turning to look back at the man, he hugged himself, unsure how to really make talk, maybe meeting a new person was not best for him right now. he shouldn't get close again, maybe it was time to push everyone away - cut feelings, connections, and just protect - but it was too late now, was it?

Child of Hera (Goddess of marriage, family, and the protector of women) - Cabin 2 (Wait wait let me explain-)

Practically, Rudy is a Demi-God who was unclaimed for around 6 years. Him and Alejandro came at the same time when they were very young as they were already friends and both just so happened to be Demi-gods (convenient, I know).

while Alejandro quickly got claimed by Ares, Rudy was stuck in the Hermes cabin (Cabin 11). After the sixth year, he was sick of being stuck in a cabin full of people who were plotting as if he wasn’t there - or worse, trying to recruit him for Kronos. So, in order to flee these children of Hermes, he decided to dedicate his worshipping and sacrifices to Hera. While yes, he clearly wasn’t her son as she doesn’t have any children with mortals, she eventually gave in and claimed him. (Yes, even if she isn’t actually his mother, she can claim him. It’s not a necessarily ‘stable’ system.)

At first, many other campers thought he was ‘weird’ or a ‘fraud’ for this, however people’s opinions on him quickly changed across the first few months. He worked up a good reputation, many ending up looking up to him.

Despite following Hera, he heavily enjoyed archery. He was pretty good at it as well, unfortunately it was not natural. Unlucky, that could have been a pointer to his godly parent. All Rudy did know was that his godly parent was his mother, his father being mortal. Or at least by typical standards, with these gods you could never know.

He quickly assisted the children of Apollo in training kids, especially unclaimed kids, how to properly shoot a bow. That’s the key reasons kids started looking up to him, that and his very threatening best friend - Alejandro. Who everyone feared (in a respectful way).

biography:

( TW: death, blood, violence, animal abuse & suicidal thoughts ) alejandro was not born in the best care. having been put into the system since the moment he was born, due to his mother passing away in a car accident from a drunk driver - he was still in the womb, only seven months into the pregnancy. being tossed around from family to family that adopted him, nothing stuck. ale had to grow up fending for himself even at a young age. knowing that he was never going to be able to have a family. ale wasn't able to handle the system anymore, he took what he had to his name, which was not much and ran as far as he could. seventeen years old on the streets, the boy figured his way around, trying to get a job - nothing was able to stick. he was not able to stand people walking all over him which angered him quickly which was then where he got the job that last him almost his whole life and he was good at it. a personal trainer, boxing - just one of the best outlets for him to get a hold of the war inside him. even though that was able to last for the short term while he was only at the gym, when it came to being out in the world that was a different story. the ups and down of growing up had gotten harder and harder as time went on. no friends around to help him keep his head up or keep him in cheek. every person that ale allowed to get close ended up hurt mentally or physically by him - he didn't mean to. always regretting the way he just snaps with no sense of control or why he's always so damn angry all the time. it was then that the one thing that actually was able keep him in check came into his life. *nox* -- his black pitbull that he saved from a fighting ring he was invited to. it was an underground fight club that started off with dog fights. the poor pup was just near a year old and he was already being trained to fight. that did not sit right with. ale felt this rush of anger, a normal feeling and he knew that he was about to black out -- and he did. snapping out of it with men all over him pulling him out of the fight. about six or so men all on the ground, blood all over the place, his own face busted, knuckles cut open - all he saw was red and not knowing what had happened to him. being pulled away into a room that had the boss of the fight club, ale began to explain what happened, trying his best to calm down and not let the anger take over. he was offered a way out - something he felt he had no choice as the men around him had guns and ready to take him out. fight for them, do what they ask him to. in return he will get paid which was one of the only turning points along with a better outlet to just let out everything he had inside, years of anger and abandonment issues. he was able to put in to take nox out of the ring, getting them to think over the animal ring and allow for ale to be the main show. bringing in fights that have almost put him near death as well as the men he fought against. ale was trying his best, making sure to keep himself in check - provide for now his companion, nox. he would do anything and everything for him, even helping him shake off those dark thoughts he has everyday since he was young. telling himself that the world would be better off without him, less people would be hurt around him. still having not let anyone into his life but nox, this was the only support he had going for him. he needed to stay strong, stay alive - not for himself, but for nox. that is how he was able to make it through it all, the idea that nox was waiting for him always, the only family he's ever had.

alejandro  ..seemed  comfortable.  as  per  usual.  the  only  times  he  ever  seemed  to  struggle  were  when  the  rage  took  over.  or  when  it  got  seriously  close  to  doing  just  that.  but  other  than  that,  alejandro  seemed  to...  fit  in.  he  wasn't  short  on  lovers,  on  friends,  on  protectees  &  hookups.  it  was  ...  silas  wondered  how  he  did  it.  he'd  been  annoyed  on  the  ranch  mission,  he  had  been,  but  part  of  him  wondered  how  he  did  it.  this  was  similar.  it  looked  so  easy  for  them  to  interact  with  other  while  silas  ...  fought  the  urge  to  run.

the son of ares - a title that just today meant something to him. he was angry at his father for so much, hated him - wanted to figure out how to one day come face to face and bring the god to his kneels for all the pain he let him endure, but now after todays mission all he wanted to do was to have his father explain to him how to control this pain, this anger. flashes of just moments ago were taking over his thoughts. going over how things could have ended up if the other demigods weren't able to control alejandro and bring him down to earth from his bloodlust. there was going to be practice and making sure to count of those around him to snap him out of it. there was still that fear in the back of his mind that he would hurt someone -- even more since he knows his role is to protect them all here.

making it back to camp with the other demigods, he felt very much grounded thanks for both remy and oliver by his side. it was a different feeling having both the demigods holding his hand. in the back of his head he felt that he's let them down and that was going to eat at him for a few days. "i -- thanks, but i can take it from here." he told them both, forcing his hand off the two and hugging himself. "you two should celebrate, i'm... i'm going to go... i ... i think i need to be alone to think about what happened tonight and what.. that... unicorn said.. " the voice of the unicorn echoed in his head as he brought back what was told.

ale had no idea what that meant, but he was going to figure it out. -- there was going to be a lot of soul searching, but this was what he needed to kick start what he felt like he needed to do. give into the rage, let it consume him like a fire - and that was what he was going to do.
