E. A. Poe's "The tell-tale heart" by Alberto Breccia
Here are some panels from one of the most fantastic comic books ever created (you can find it all here).
This adaptation of Poe's short story is a perfect example of how to use the structure and framing of the panels, to convey the rythm and pathos of the original.
The simplicity is staggering and the use of negative spaces and repetition is exceptional. I urge you all to go read it!
