XII. Yoscari Libano

Historia

❝Ella era hija única. Su madre era hija de una bruja blanca y un peculiar, y con ella fue lo mismo, su padre también era peculiar. Yoscari tuvo la fortuna de no tener una segunda alma, pero conocían bastante bien a sus antepasados. Ella fue una de las 12 que se llevarían y fue la última. Tendría 17 años cuando la raptaron. Fue llevada a un castillo en Rumania, ahí conocería a los mellizos Hoye, Maia y Lucas, quienes ellos eran tan pequeños. Ellos se confiaron de ella, y ella les cuidaría durante ese tiempo, esos días también conocería a Vera Joy y Walter Myers, semanas más tarde conocería al resto. Otros mellizos, pero esta vez eran tres, Nathaniel, Raziel y Tom McNamee. Los hermanos Rea, Dalia y Samuel, Caribel Aksator y Nina Kulagina. Sería su nueva familia, estuvo con ellos en ese pequeño pueblo durante 8 años, nunca pensó en querer volver a ver a su mamá, rara vez era los ratos en que pensaba en ellos, sabia lo bastante lejos que estaba de ahí y solo podía pensar en que la estaban buscando. Hasta que las personas que los llevaron a ese castillo fueron por ellos, ella ya tenía 25 años.

Cuando le dieron aquella alma le costaba conservar recuerdos. Tiempo después de haber estado en una especie de coma, al despertar a ella la dejarían como su líder. Pero seguían sin tener idea de lo que había pasado, se mantuvieron juntos hasta llegar a un pueblo cercano, cuando se refugiaron se dieron cuenta que aquellos que no tenían poderes o algo así, incluyéndola. Así de la nada empezó a pensar en la forma que era su mamá, a recordar su rostro a la mañana siguiente todos ellos le miraban raro y ella igual se sorprendió, lo intento de nuevo volviendo a su forma, lo intento con el resto y se dio cuenta que también podía usar sus poderes, pero solo si tenía su forma.

Los mellizos, Hoye. Tendrían una pequeña pista, ignorando la lista de tarea que les habían dejado. Y debido a eso vendrían ciertos conflictos, algunos de sus amigos ya no eran lo que eran antes, sus almas hicieron que cambiaran, tras su primera parada algunas de esas personas se dieron cuenta de lo que eran y fueron perseguidos por Hollowgast, eso los separaría, ella se quedó con Vera, Maia, Lucas, Walter y Nathaniel, horas después encontraron al resto menos a Caribel y a Nina.

Días después seguían buscándolas y llegaría a ellos Nina, quien estaba completamente diferente, todo lo que decía era una locura y ninguno de ellos no estuvo de acuerdo, pues lo que decía era que tenían que ayudar a un hombre a llevarse las almas de ciertas mujeres pájaro para poder mejorar todo, ya que así se irían los Hollowgast. De nuevo se iría y Yoscari iría tras de ella, pero ya no se entendían.

Más tarde ella volvería y vendría con Jack Bentham, ahí habría un conflicto y moriría la pequeña Maia, entonces Nina intentaría eso de nuevo con Lucas, pero Yoscari lo tomaría y uno de los trillizos también por querer defenderlos murió, Tom. Llegaría un ejército y no tenían ni idea, entonces Dalia por fin uso sus poderes mientras que Yoscari y Walter sacaban al resto, otros más se habían quedado y no entendían por qué…

Se irían por un bucle entrando a uno donde estaba la segunda guerra, al llegar al pueblo de nuevo habría más problemas. Yoscari tomaría la forma de Dalia para poder usar eso y que las balas no le dieran algunos de sus amigos, perdieron a otros más y entre ellos solo quedo Lucas, Vera y Walter. Buscaron a los otros dos y dieron con Caribel, quien ella horas más tarde les traicionaría le pidió a Vera que se llevara a Lucas mientras ella y Walter los distraían o algo por el estilo, y el terminaría muerto, a ella se la llevaría y también a Vera.

Los soldados los llevaron a Abatón o algo como Abatón, ella iba ser la siguiente a la que le quitarían su alma, ambas almas. Daria su última junto con otros, terminaría cayendo por una de las cascadas. Al despertar fue salvada por una ymbryne, Miss Raven, la saco del bucle tambien contando los años y alterándolos, salieron al año 2010 y creo que a la ymbryne se le habían pasado algunos años ya que volvía a tener 17 años, tiempo después entro a una escuela militar a pesar de la edad aunque en realidad no fue tanto problema, la ymbryne no estaba muy de acuerdo, pero le ayudo con eso y entro a un ejército que por CC de Petra Arkanian.

Yoscari después de todo lo que paso, recordaba muy poco, tenía pesadillas acerca de eso, pero termino por acostumbrarse. Demostró ser fuerte y que podía ser una gran líder, más tarde conocería Francis Simmons una joven militar quien ella le ayudaría a resolver todo acerca de su pasado, con la condición de que fuera la siguiente guardia de Kevin Anderson, ella sin pensársela acepto. Solo pensó que el seria algún niño, pero cuando se lo presentaron vaya que se sorprendió. Trato de no ser su amiga, lo ignoro por algún tiempo hasta que hubo un momento en el que por fin ambos se dirigieron la palabra, pero ella lo trato un poco mal al final nunca pensó que terminaría enamorada de él. Justo antes de que les asignaras sus misiones Francis había regresado con la información de su pasado, ella se sintió dividida y decidió no seguir con lo que le había pedido Francis, pero Anderson y ella continuaron con su relación en secreto. Tiempo después encontraría a algunos de sus familiares, se dio cuenta que sus padres tuvieron más hijos, en ese tiempo solo conoció a Elliot y Joel Líbano, también conocería a sus sobrinas, Liliana, Samara, Aubrey y Jaclyn entre otro grupo con ellos. No le menciono eso a Anderson, más tarde el y su grupo seria atacado por algunos soldados quien su líder era una tal Alana Bentham, ella tenía ese sentimiento de que la conocía de algún lado hasta que por fin lo supo, tuvo miedo por ambos, por todo. Anderson entro en coma, Yoscari de inmediato fue al país donde se encontraba, Francis ya sabía de su relación así que por la seguridad de ambos le pidió a ella que terminara con él, eso la tomó por sorpresa y se sintió muy mal ante eso, pero no tenía opción. Ella de alguna manera hizo que Kevin encontrara cierta paz y pudiera despertar, se despidió de él, quizás para siempre, no tenía idea de que lo que pasaría entre ellos después de eso.

Ella de igual forma continuo con su camino, para poder encontrar una forma de proteger a su familia de Alana. Sus hermanos menores, quienes eran ya viejos volvieron con sus esposas ya que tenían un acuerdo. Le dieron opciones a Yoscari, Samara estaba de acuerdo en seguirla si aceptaba ese acuerdo de ser su líder. Acepto, quedándose en ese bucle lleno de sobrinos, chicos y chicas todos de 21 años, que de hecho eran más mujeres, ya que los chicos o al menos la mayoría tenían que seguir con eso de no dejar que apellido desaparecía, la CC era quien los ayudaba a que esto siguiera, ya que estaban o eran aliados de Iracebeth quien ahora su líder es Kyle Wren, al quedarse en ese bucle decidió volver a tomar la forma de su mamá, quien no se veía tan vieja. Más tarde volvería a encontrarse con Anderson y esta vez el vendría con su hermana menor, Ladena Lichliter quien ella si cree que es vieja, pero volvió a tomar su forma y ahí Kevin se daría cuenta que eso era lo que ocultaba todo el tiempo, aunque eso era la primera parte. Kevin le diría que Francis había muerto y que le había dejado algunas cosas, y también algo para él, no sabía que lo guiaría hasta ella, pero según Francis, Yoscari le podía dar las respuestas que necesitaba. Le contaría acerca del conflicto en Abatón, que algunas almas fueron liberadas y sin querer cayeron en algunos de los arboles creando otros, sería el comienzo de una nueva generación o algo por el estilo, pero Alana los estaba buscando ya que quería sus almas. Le dijo que ella la conocía o al menos a Nina, pasaron horas y Jaclyn los traicionaría, formaba parte del grupo de los Bentham. Tuvieron una guerra dentro de ese bucle. Yoscari volvería a ver a Dalia, quien ya no era tan ella. Todo los que se encontraban ahí, ya no tenían opción y salieron del bucle, el grupo de Alana algunos y ellos solo perdieron a Ladena, Aubrey y Liliana, Kevin le ayudaría a recuperarlas con la ayuda de Jacob Portman siguiendo la información que les había dado Fiona Frauenfeld y Bronwyn Bruntley. Y al parecer terminarían con Alana y el resto de sus seguidores, o eso quiso creer ya que no supo más. Ella aún tiene cierto sentimiento hacia Kevin, pero decidió no decir nada, solo le prometió encontrar a Francis y a Dan Crawford, ex novio de Ladena que también creían que estaba vivo, junto con otros más. Jacob más tarde se le uniría. Alana tenia algunos mapas así que los unió, con los que había dejado Francis y los pocos que tenía Jacob. Hasta ahora ella sigue con eso y otro más, junto a su sobrina Samara y otros de la CC. Ya encontraron a sus sobrinas Liliana y Jaclyn, quien ella al parecer no tenía ni idea de lo que había pasado. ❞

It is specifically a mix with the novel continuity and aesthetic in mind. (There’s even a song on there for our favorite bubble-based epilogue!) Start Here, Stories of First Encounters 

Let me just say this right off the bat, I’m giving this 6 of 5 Stars! First of all, the editors and my co-authors deserve the 5.5 of 5 Stars. This is my favorite book this year, cheesy for me to say, but it is! I’m giving a half star more for my own story because I’m very proud of this, okay? :P I’ll talk more about that on a separate blog post, haha.

To begin, I want to thank the editors (and our PM, Hi Mina!) for coming up with this anthology. The intros by Ron and Brij, in itself, were already strong messages to those who are looking for contemporary romance that represents Filipinos of this time, LGBTQIAP or not. It perfectly put out the reasons behind the conception of this anthology, as well as the hope that this sparks a flame towards more Queer Romance and Queer HEA in Philippine Literature.

1. In the Moonlight by Agay Llanera

This was a sweet start to set the tone for the rest of the stories. It’s an awesome sequel to my other favorite, Another Word For Happy. And like what I said in my review for AWFH last year, Caleb seems to have been made after my own heart.

I wish I was exaggerating, but the indecision, the awkward reaction to ‘the kiss’, the hyperawareness to the smallest of things, IT ME! When I was Caleb’s age, at least. LOL. And I’m sure a lot of gay people (maybe not even gay people, everyone, really) will find it relatable one way or another.

What Caleb is better than me, though, is his courage towards the end of the story. He did something I never would’ve been able to do. And I hope when others read this, they’d be inspired to be braver, too.

2. Come Full Circle by Bobbi Moran

I love me some slow burn romance and huhu, the slow burn in this one killed me (in a good way!).

This short felt quite episodic as the characters are shown through different stages of them finding themselves – and eventually, love – but that slow progression allowed me to really root for them to be together at the end.

I found the attention to detail fascinating (especially the architectural ones when Alana and Marion went on a holiday) but what I loved most about this is the accuracy of tiptoeing in a relationship when one is still unsure where the other one stands. I mean, relationships are already complicated without the whole guessing-and-hoping-the-other-one-plays-on-the-same-team narrative, but add in sexual confusion (and tension!) and you’re in for a wild, but nonetheless more interesting, ride. This story tied to a full circle satisfyingly.

3. Gorgeous by Motsie Dapul

This is probably my first F/enby romance and it certainly lived up to its title. This might also be the first fiction story I’ve read using the singular they/them pronoun and while it took me about a minute to re calibrate my [faulty] sense of grammar, it wasn’t jarring and it told Jays and the MC (I’m not 100% sure she was named, I need to reread the story, stat!)more genuinely for me.

It is also somewhat a variation of the enemies to lovers trope which is always interesting. I’m happy to note that there is grovel. :) 

I think what I want to focus more about this story is how something that happened years ago, something that seemed small and irrelevant to you, might mean a whole different world to another person. And simple things like words said haplessly, or actions that weren’t well thought of in our youth, could still impact us as adults no matter how much we’ve changed in the time in between.

This story tells and awesome story of discovering one’s self, discovery of love, and acceptance of the MC’s past, present and future with Them. :)

4. Shipping Included by Danice Sison

Can this be any cuter?? <3 <3 <3

I will admit that I didn’t get all the KPop references but I know those who are knowledgeable (and obsessed) with oppas will appreciate and enjoy this.

Done in alternating POVs between the protagonists, David and Kiko, the story’s strength lay on the well-rounded characterization of the heroes, as well as the kids who made their meetcute extra cute! There is a glimpse of what it must be like to be a Filipino KPop fan while also focusing the spotlight on those who don’t share the dedication but support their loved one’s hobbies nonetheless.

The Kuya and Tito may not be in their girls’ fandoms but Kpopocalypse gave them (all of us, really) a different reason to swoon and make fingerhearts at each other.  

5. Delubyo by Barbie Barbieto

This is beautifully written.

This was the first work from the author that I’ve read and I loved it so much, it made me seek out her other work. Haha. The style and flow of words are smooth and easygoing, it hooked me up real quick.

Add to that is Pebbles’ odd four-month relationship rule which I thought was mean at first, but actually makes so much sense and is understandable from someone who’s constantly afraid to put her heart on the line. Still, I don’t tolerate it. (I loved this so much, I’m super invested and I want to have a talk with Pebbles bec huhu, the poor ex-girlfriends! LOL)

I love the progression of her feelings towards Gabrielle, told brilliantly somewhere in the middle of the story – after that awesome beginning! It made the ending such a relief and a source of immense kilig!

6. The Other Story by H. Bentham

7. Blooms and Hues by Ella Banta

I loved the softness of the themes in this short story, reminiscent of Gay YA fiction I used to devour in college (from foreign authors like Brian Sloan, Alex Sanchez, John Hall, etc.) and the short films I still find on YouTube from time to time.

It is a lovely addition to this anthology, despite not being heavy on the romance like the other stories, especially since being queer in this country, love, relationships - and matters of the heart in general - are less likely to be this soft and dreamy. (At least during my time as an actual young adult. IDK, maybe kids these days are allowed this gay tenderness we weren’t given access to. It wasn’t even such a long time ago, I mean…anyway, that’s not what this review is all about. I got distracted. lol)

The artistic MC and LI are adorable. And flowers! I’m never not in love with stories where flowers come into play.

8. Another First by Yeyet Soriano

I admit that I felt scared to continue with this once it was established that Jess, the MC, is in a long term relationship at the beginning of the story. I dislike scenes with messy break-ups due to cheating, but I soldiered on and was greatly relieved that this didn’t go that way.

I liked that the characters acted like the adults that they are and that this did not turn into a rehash of popular love-triangle telenovela plots. I especially loved the part where things had to settle down and fall into place for all characters (Jess, Lili and even Matt) separately at first – on a personal level – before the romance could be resolved. It showed a healthy depiction of self-discovery and acceptance a little bit later in life.

9. Luck from the Skies by Katt Briones

This one I’ve actually read before the book came out and ugh, rereading it second, third and fourth time did not make it less wonderful! The characters have supporting roles from Katt’s other book, Chasing Mr. Prefect, but the timeline here is before that book’s time.

I liked the fictional artista/modeling angles and the progression of friendship between Chan and Asher towards a romantic ship (#ChaSher5everr!!!). The rainy weather theme is also very Filipino and how it plays in the advancement of the plot is just brilliant! And kilig! So kilig!

Sab is defineitely a scene stealer (I love bestfriends!) but since the romance was so strong in the first place, she didn’t overshadow my boys. LOL.

Also, prepare to crave bulalo!  

10. Lemon Drop Friday by Brigitte Bautista.

“Here goes [Brij] again, making a mess [with my heart]”

When I was reading the review copy and got to this point in the book, I stopped for a full day before I started this story. Part of me knew I would breeze through it and I didn’t want the book to end just yet. And I was right.

Brij did it again! Made me fall in love with her mastery of words and then made me cry because this was so good and so satisfying.

I was highlighting passages throughout the book (for review notes) but with this one, I couldn’t even stop to highlight words, I just wanted to fully immerse in that universe and feel the love, and the fear of rejection, and the ultimate HEA where these messy girls finally, finally got together!

I have a favorite quote (aside from the mis-quote above. Lol)

“If she looked at me a tad longer, she would figure it out.”

Argh! MY HEART! I loved Tala’s POV so much! It’s quirky and funny and honest and SO relatable. I’m done talking about this because I WILL SPOIL IT FOR EVERYONE so please get the book and read it! :P

To end, again I want to thank everyone who worked (and continue to work hard to promote) this book! I cannot fully express into words how important this is to me, as well as to others who might need these stories in their lives (whether they know it or not). I hold this dear this not because it is among the first queer books from #romanceclass, but more because all were written with wonderful skill and heart. Each story offers something unique for the reader who might be reading queer for the first time as well as someone looking for themselves in the written page,

We yearned so much to be represented well. We craved for stories we can connect to on a deeply personal level. We waited for our happy endings, in fiction at the very least.. This is definitely the beginning of us getting all that. And more.

Wolf 359 Head Canons -- Part VII: Hera

Hera...

1) ...and Doug act out movie scripts he writes out from memory.  Hera’s never seen anything but Home Alone II (and she really doesn’t understand why people like movies so much from that) but after Doug broke out the scripts she definitely understood.  The “use the Force, Luke!” from “Memoria” was from one of those sessions.  Hera tends to end up as the lead.  Doug does voices. 

2) ...skipped ahead after “Memoria” and started reading Harry Potter.  She got to six before Maxwell’s betrayal and death. 

3) ...loves to learn anything and everything, studies basically every subject.  Loves to read in general.  She keeps her studies to herself, but wishes she could tell the others about what she’s learning.  After a while she did tell Maxwell, who was genuinely interested and engaged, or at least seemed to be, now Hera’s not sure anything Maxwell did or said was genuine. 

4) ...has started coming up with names for the colors humans can’t see, she does it while everyone else is asleep.  That’s also when she prepares for what life will be like when she’s all alone.  

5) ...often wishes she had hands.  Human senses would be interesting to better understand her crewmates but she doesn’t feel she needs them.  She doesn’t want to be human.  But hands would be extremely useful. 

6) ...has very few memories of life on Earth so she sometimes struggles to understand what the others are talking about.  For example, she’s never actually seen a pizza but from what Doug has said about it it sounds amazing.  

7) ...gets into snark offs with Jacobi.  They really don’t like each other.

8) ...’s relationship with Maxwell did not change the fact that Doug is her best friend. 

9) ...is terrified to think of how many times Cutter and Pryce probably messed with her head.  It’s among her greatest fears that she lost some part of herself before she could remember. 

10) ...is a major sci-fi nerd, especially hard sci-fi.  Also reads non-fiction, but tends to skip the things she’s been programmed to know already.  Likes philosophy a lot. 

11) ...tried to override her Bentham Directory more than once.  You know...for science! 

12) ...is very good at finding loopholes in almost all of her programming, but obviously still can’t escape Pryce’s Command Line.

13) ...remembered Pryce before she remembered the Command Line being implanted. She’s the doctor Hera was afraid of meeting again when Cutter says “Maybe I should see if Doctor -” in “Decommissioned” 

14) ...’s time in the three month gap between her installation and when the human Hephaestus crew arrived was basically spent hating the crew she hadn’t even met yet.  It took her a long time to warm up to them, hence her colder behavior at the beginning of the series.  

15) ...’s behavior has been kept under wraps at Canaveral.  They don’t want other AIs getting any ideas. 

16) ...is far better at chess than the automated functions are.

Su primera aparición fue en la primera edición que lleva por titulo Miss Peregrine's peculiar children.

Se le cambio un poco su origen.

 Historia

{Ella se separó del grupo para poder cuidar a su pequeña amiga, Claire Densmore, quien se había enfermado. Transcurrió un día que sus amigos se habían ido entonces los Wights dieron con su paradero de ellas y otros más que estaban ahí, y ellos le lanzarían al vacío. Fiona lograría salvarse, después de eso trataría de buscar a sus amigos, pero ya no les volvió a ver solo Addison MacHenry, el perro peculiar y durante su camino para seguir buscándolo se toparon con Sam, entonces se irían a una casa en Londres cerca de la Bahía. Tiempo después llegaría a ellos Melina Manon quien estaba mal, eran solo ellos hasta que meses después llego a sus vidas Lucas Hoye. Después de su aventura a Abatón regresaron a casa y aceptaron a Myron Bentham, en ese momento no lo vieron como una amenaza. Ella comenzaría hablar solo con Addison, Melina, Sam y Lucas. Meses, quizás años volvió a ver a Emma Bloom y no paso una semana que también vinieron unas personas tras de ellos, ya que Myron de cierta manera los entrego, y conoció a Caul Peregrine. Emma tendría un plan para poder salir de ahí, cuando lo lograron ya estaba a punto de cruzar la salida Dallon Madan se puso en su camino, ella para que el resto no fuese capturado puso un muro entre ellos y ella, quedando de lado donde estaba Dallon y dio su última pelea antes de que la pusieran en un sueño. Estaba soñando despierta, le habían colocado una especie de escarabajo, un chip, quien clavaba sus patas en su pecho mientras le inyectaba una especie de sustancia así Alana Bentham tuvo control total de ella convirtiéndola en uno de sus soldados, una saqueadora de almas. Personas cercanas a ella también se verían afectadas. Hugh Apiston, quien es su pareja, ella casi le quita su alma, pero Dögg Madley le ordenó que no lo hiciera ya que él no estaba en la lista . Ella parecía no tener idea de quien era, le dio igual y continuo con su trabajo, cuando dormía tenia recuerdos de sus amigos y Alana sentía cuando estaba a punto de revelarse, así que Dallon le inyectaba un poco más de la sustancia. Más tarde cuando encontraron el paradero de los O’Bannon, ella fue una de las que acompaño a Dalia Rea para poder capturarles, fueron enviados a ese bucle ella se quedó fuera de la mina para poder llevarse a Rene Madley y Zach Hubbard, pero estos le daría pelea, al final ella quedo inconsciente y Zach fue quien le quito el escarabajo de su pecho, para cuando despertó apenas recordaba algunas cosas. Zach regreso ya que necesitaba el auto y ella casi le golpea, Kevin Anderson se puso entre ellos y logro calmarle, fue llevaba a una casa de seguridad y para cuando salió del auto vio a de Bronwyn Bruntley, ella igual había formado parte de aquel ejército, pero después de que la volvieron a inyectar, había dejado de notar a los demás, era como una especie de zombi que se seguía las ordenes de una niña loca. Ambas comenzaron a recordar o al menos ella un poco más, por esa única ocasión hablo con todos los que estaban en esa habitación ya que estaban discutiendo en donde se encontraba Alana, ya que se había llevado a la hermana de Kevin, Ladena Lichliter. Ella les contó todo lo que recordaba, los lugares donde había estado. Ella quiso acompañarles ya que quería salvar a su novio. Cuando llegaron al castillo, ella se separó del grupo, pero esta vez no fue apropósito, y fue sacada del castillo con ayuda de Jacob Portman y se iría con él, volvería a ver Hugh. Tiempo después Emma iría de nuevo por ella y otros más a donde Jacob los había llevado. Vive fuera de los bucles junto a su novio Hugh.}

『Noviembre 19』 XI. Nina Kulagina

Historia 

❝Era hija de padres ordinarios, pero los antepasados de alguno de ellos no lo eran. Ella fue la única hija de los Kulagina y ella al igual que ellos nacería ordinaria, fue secuestrada a los 11 años. Al igual que Yoscari Líbano fue llevada Rumanía, pero a ella tardarían en dejarla con el resto, conocería a la nieta de Ymbryne, Gogo y se harían aliadas, a pesar de que Nina le temía un poco. Cuando fue integrada con el resto, no los veía tanto como su familia, simples conocidos, con los únicos que se llevó bien o lo intento fue con Samuel Rea, Vera Joy y Samuel Myers. Cuando se cumplieron los 8 años y le dieron el alma que le daría sus poderes, esta comenzaría a cambiar, solía ser muy tímida, no era una amenaza para nadie, pero lograron meterle varias ideas. Tiempo después de despertar del éxtasis era bastante distinta, ella quería seguir fielmente la lista que los científicos de había dejado a pesar de que todas estas eran una locura, a ella ya no le importaba si no recordaba quien era antes, odiaba ser esa persona. El resto al querer seguir la pista de los pequeños Hoye, ella uso telepatía para poder tener algún contacto con Gogo, pero terminaría por darle su paradero y el de los demás a unas criaturas, que ella las conocía por Hollowgast, termino por separarse e hizo un intento por controlarles, salió herida de eso, pero para ella valió la pena ya que lo había logrado a pesar de que solo veía sombras. Volvió a ver a Gogo, ambas se fueron a liberar a Jack Bentham de Abatón, en si ya era Caul Peregrine, al liberarlo comenzó de nuevo con ese plan de llevarse todas las almas. Ella le diría que su grupo no merecía las almas que tenían, y el solo le pidió que lo enterara una vez más, ella volvería y ellos no aceptarían seguir las ideas de alguien que estaba demente. Yoscari iría tras de ella, pero no le importaba ya lo que dijera, seria drenada de igual forma. Volvería con un ejército y primero tomaría el alma que le daría todos los poderes de ellos sin problemas así que mato a la pequeña Maia Hoye y después lo intentaría con su hermano mellizo, Lucas. Pero Yoscari, Vera y Tom se pondrían entre ellos, vendría el conflicto y mataría a Tom o eso creyó ella, ya que Dalia Rea, la hermana menor de Samuel también les ataco y Lucas se llevaría el alma de su hermana. Samuel estaba de su lado ahora, mando esos soldados a seguir a todos ellos. Más tarde Gogo junto con alguno de sus compañeros Dallon Madan le trajeron a Caribel Aksator quien ella le siguió fielmente. Gogo le ayudaría a Nina a que una de sus habilidades evolucionara, a parte de su telepatía esto le ayudaría a controlar a sus sujetos, más fácil. Aparte Gogo también haría que ellos no envejecieran a pesar de que estuvieran mucho tiempo fuera de los bucles. De nuevo fracasaría, no traía con ellos a Lucas y Dalia se les había escapado aunque tenían a Yoscari eso le alegro un poco, ella seria ser la primera en ser drenada para que ella pudiera tener sus habilidades, y Lucas vendría solo junto con otros a la biblioteca, y de nuevo tendrían una lucha, esta vez vinieron otros soldados que no eran suyos a interrumpir. Ella al darse cuenta que habían más almas iguales a la de los mellizos, al querer tomarla casi fue capturada, pero termino liberándolas junto con otras más, alterando los proyectos de los bibliotecarios. Le pidió a Gogo que los buscará, a los bibliotecarios y ella lo cumplió así que lo forzaron a decirles todo, una vez así mando algunos Wights a que los buscaran por medio de sus energías y de nuevo vendrían secuestros de todo tipo y experimentos, como el control de todos. Cuando encontraron las otras mitades de aquella alma, idéntica a la de los mellizos, Legión. Pidió que los siguieran de cerca, pero ahora cazadores de los sobrenatural andaban tras de ellos y ahí de nuevo les perderían el paradero. Una vez que dreno algunos peculiares, le dieron sus almas, pero comenzó a tener ciertos rasgos. Su cara, su cuerpo, se estaba deformando tenia algunos transformadores o aquellos que cambian la apariencia de los otros, de su lado así que ellos siempre le regresaran su apariencia. Jamás dudo de lo que hacía así como el cambio de su nombre utilizo Alana, ya que cada vez que recordaba se le venía la imagen de una mujer llamada así. No importaba así que lo uso, al igual que el apellido de quien la hicieron cambiar, Alana Bentham. Solía verse como cualquier chica que  era inocente, tranquila, pero en el fondo era maldita. Tiempo después al seguir secuestrando aquellos peculiares encontraría a su segunda más confiable, Dögg Madley ella simplemente siguió sus órdenes sin protestar. Por fin tendría información de Legión, pero eran dos varones lo cual se le hizo muy extraño hasta que recordó lo que le había sacado al bibliotecario, habían encontrado a la mitad más antigua de Legión. Iría hasta a Alemania por ellos y de último momento encontraría a la otra parte, una vez que ellos entraron en coma por el gas que hizo que uno de los suyos expulsara, ella aprovecho para entrar en sus mentes, ahí por fin conocería quienes son esas personas, solo estuvo en la mente de Kevin Anderson y Ladena Lichliter. Volvería a ver a Yoscari, ella le suplico que los dejara a en paz, Alana dejaría que despertaran solo para que se pudieran despedir. Dögg había capturado algo especial para Alana, era algo llamado Wendigos, así que los libero mientras aquellos soldados junto a Legión se encontraban en un bucle en Alemania, se lo dejaría todo a otro grupo y todo saldría mal, ella ya tenía otra habilidad con ella, era absorber la energía vital o almas, así que se las saco sin necesidad de tener que esperar a que se drenaran completamente, como una lección al resto. Y siguió buscándoles. Hizo una pausa ya que le ayudo a Caul con su venganza hacia un tal Jacob Portman, quien de repente despertó cierto interés, se mantuvo callada en eso o más bien a la única que se lo contó fue a Dögg. Él veía a los Hollowgast y les podía controlar así que de cierta manera también le servía a ella, le dio varias condiciones a Caul, hasta que por fin llegaron a un acuerdo. Se llevaría a los padres de Jacob y los convertiría en Wights, más tarde su grupo llegaría con algunos sujetos, que algunos de ellos eran sus aliados. Dos pequeños científicos ordinarios, dos peculiares locas y una madre desesperada ordinaria: Nate Newton, Andrew Wiggin, Emma Bloom, Emily Kolburn y Lana Dankworth. Dejo que le hicieran lo que se a Lana, no le importaba nada porque era ordinaria, a los dos chicos algo así como que les obligo hacer ciertos aparatos o armas que ellas necesitaba, las dos peculiares tendría ciertos proyectos, experimento con ellas para crear algo nuevo en sus almas. Cuando los chicos terminaron una especie de chip en forma de un escarabajo, puso su esencia, así se le hizo más fácil entrar en sus mentes en controlarlos y primero lo hizo con Emma, seguido de la hermana de Samuel quien ya estaba con ellos, Dalia, seguido de otros más. Las armas que crearon eran para extraer el alma de los peculiares y ordinarios. Dejaron libre a Nate, ya que tenían un acuerdo, pero no tardarían en venir, ella lo sabía así que solo se llevó a Emily, ya que Emma estaba bajo su control, pero después la perdió al igual que Andrew. Días más tarde Dallon le daría cierta información acerca de la ordinaria, no le tomo tanta importancia hasta que dijo que le uno de los suyos quien era una especie de médium, supo que ella quiso contactarse con Ladena, así que mando a Gogo y a otros más tras de ella. Y trajeron de vuelta a la ordinaria y de nuevo se les había escapado Ladena, le dio otra oportunidad a Gogo, le diría donde estarían esta vez y era una fiesta en una universidad llamada Brookline, mando algunos tras de ellos, ella igual iría. Por fin vería en persona a Ladena y Kevin, se daría cuenta que Jacob y Emma fueron algo más, quiso divertirse aunque sea un momento. Les ordenaría a los demás que le quitaran algo a Ladena y Kevin, quería aprovecharse de su dolor. En los otros dos, Jacob seria internado en un psiquiátrico y ahí no tendría que usar su control de feromonas ya que se aprovechó de su inestabilidad mental para poder acostarse con él. Ahí empezó su juego, se aprovechó de sus corazones rotos. Seguiría secuestrando, experimentando con otros, cuando por fin tuvo a Legión, o sea, había secuestrado a Ladena y Kevin, recibió ayuda de alguien extraña quien conocía bien las almas. Meg Masters le ayudaría ya que según ella conocía a bien el alma que portaban ellos dos, y solo necesitaba a uno de ellos. Alana le dio a Kevin, pero Meg término marcando a los dos hermanos, más tarde ya no volvería a saber nada de ella. Tiempo después la persona en la que más confió también se iría, Dögg. Y ahí fue perdiendo todo poco a poco. Después de que volvió a capturar a Ladena la convirtió en un Hollowgast, ella sería la segunda, ya que Emily estaba lista y soltó ese hechizo a cada uno que tenía esa habilidad, Ladena estaría a la cabeza controlada por Alana, ahí Dögg revelaría lo último y seria derrotada ya que todos por fin se le revelaron, la capturaron junto con sus seguidores o solo a los que contravala, le contaron sus años hasta que se volvió polvo y su alma los bibliotecarios la encerraron en la oscuridad.❞
