Once again I'm drawing Sami mythology with my own little spin on it. But might I add as always I use everything mentioned in sources for my inspiration and never mean any disrespect. It's just that some of the info I've added are headcannons that I came up with, such as Jabme-Akka being married to both Maderakka and her husband, Maderatcha. Jabme seemed so alone!

By the way The Akka is a female spirit in Sami shamanism, Finnish and Estonian mythology. Though to the Sami people it's more like a title to a group of goddesses. The rest believe it's one single goddess!

so i've finally got around to reading the Immolant lore. In part 2, is Spider saying that the skeleton of Oryx's Worm is hidden in the rings of Saturn?

It's referring to Akka, the worm god Oryx killed to make the Dreadnaught! Spider basically told Osiris that going to the Dreadnaught would be able to tell him more, which was true. After that, in Immolant, Osiris visits the Dreadnaught and learns more about Savathun being exiled from the Hive and Xivu hunting her. It's also why he ends up going to the Moon.

A bit later, Osiris also adds:

The Dreadnaught's systems present as living memory —chronicles and hymns recounting histories. It is a rat king of fading ideas, wracked with failing connections and dying interpretations as Akka suffers a slow, final death, damaged beyond repair.

Akka (they/he) is, in terms of site mechanics, Aelroth's dad who I scattered recently. In terms of lore, they're one of the Librarians. They keep to organising shelves and research out of the way of wandering eyes. Everyone who's ever met him has been insistent that they have met them before, but the recalled details seem to change by the hour, and Akka is a dragon of few words, both on this topic and in general

Candela (it/she) and Crescent (he/him) are two members of the royal guard in Torchbound, with Candela being one of Veritas' typical entourage and Crescent being a short-range messenger. Their broadcasts are subject to change but they're both very moon-aligned for me and also I have Along The Road by Radical Face stuck in my head
