Agent is an upcoming Telugu spy thriller film in which Akhil Akkineni is playing the lead role and it is being directed by Surender Reddy . The story of Agent is written by Vakkantham Vamsi and it is produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara and Pathi Deepa Reddy under AK Entertainments and Surrender 2 Cinema banners. Actor Akhil Akkineni suffered a minor injury while shooting for his upcoming Telugu film Most Eligible Bachelor (MEB), as per a report by Cinema Express. Akhil suffered an injury to his right elbow while filming a comic action sequence.“Akhil’s right hand elbow was swollen and he was advised a week’s rest by the doctors. As a result, the shooting of the film has been halted. The actor is currently recuperating at home and he is expected to resume work after March 10,” a source was quoted in the report.Being directed by Bhaskar, the film also stars Pooja Hegde, who is teaming up with Akhil for the first time. The film will see Akhil play an NRI while Pooja will be seen as a stand-up comedienne. Produced by Bunny Vas and Vasu Varma, MEB has music by Gopi Sundar. The makers are planning to release the film in May.Akhil has pinned high hopes on this project. Desperate for a hit, the actor wants to prove himself badly after delivering back-to-back duds. There were also reports recently that Ram Gopal Varma might direct Akhil next but these turned out to be merely rumours that are yet to be verified. Akhil was also supposed to team up with a Tamil director for a project which will be high on animatronics and will feature a horse in a pivotal role; however, there’s still no solid information with respect to this collaboration. Photos: Sayyeshaa’s Dubai sojourn gives us some serious vacation goals
Actress Sayyeshaa is making her debut in Tamil with Jayam Ravi’s Vanamagan. The actress made her debut in films with Akkineni Akhil’s debut film Akhil, which did not fare as expected by the makers. Sayyeshaa next appeared in Bollywood biggie Shivaay, which was directed and produced by Ajay Devgn besides acting as the lead. Shivaay gave the right start for Sayyeshaa’s career in Bollywood and she is now one of the top contenders for upcoming big films in Bollywood.

Sayyesha is currently in Dubai on a holiday and is on a shopping spree. The actress posted few photos on her social networking page from her holiday trip to Dubai. Sayyeshaa recently signed another Tamil film which is in the pre-production stage. The film is titled Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja which has Vishal and Karthi in the lead roles. Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja will be produced and directed by dancing icon Prabhudheva and the music of the film be rendered by Harris Jayaraj. Interestingly, Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja will be Harris Jayaraj’s 50th film in his career.
Sayyeshaa is also in discussions with few Bollywood filmmakers regarding her next projects in Hindi. Sayyeshaa is the grandniece of yesteryear Bollywood top actress Saira Banu. Rumours were doing rounds that Sayyeshaa bagged top movies early in her career because of her family. But the actress lashed at all these reports strongly and said she worked hard for these roles.
