I’ve been trying to think of a good fake fic title, except they all keep getting Unreasonably Long, so uh… how about “one foot in the grave”? I think that’s the shortest I can manage lol

send me a made-up fic title and I’ll tell you what i would write to go with it:

One Foot in the Grave, huh?

Amity Park knows about Danny's accident. It's talked about in whispers but the boy seems fine. A little shaken, a little quieter, but alright. Things happen right? Kids get into things they shouldn't.

There's no real investigation, no real concern. Life moves on.

The kids at Casper High know better.

Amity Park isn't terribly huge. They aren't small either, but some nebulous middle ground. There's two small elementary schools across town from each other, a central middle school and the corresponding high school. It's more than enough for the kids of Amity. The town stays pretty steady, population wise. There's not much expanding, not many new people.

It's quaint.

The kids know better than that, too.

Most of them have known each other since they were five or six years old. There's a few transfers, a few kids that were homeschooled young and then brought in. The point is, for all that Danny and his friends kept to themselves, they were still known.

And after Danny's accident, things were never the same.

Something changed. Beyond the shock of a near death experience, beyond the fickle swings of puberty.

Something was wrong.

And then it's clear somethings wrong with Amity too. There's ghosts all around, attacking. There's hunters, appearing out of no where. The Fenton's research is suddenly everywhere. Amity Park is haunted.

The kids at Casper High look at Danny and wonder.

Things change again when the kids realize that not all the ghosts are bad or evil. Poindexter just wants a friend, wants no one else to be bullied like he was. Some students start asking him for help on homework and he's thrilled. Catches up on the curriculum and seems to come to life. The bullies--even Dash--back off. It's hard to bully when looking into the face of a kid who never made it out of high school alive because of his own bullies.

Ember just wants her music to be heard and she is good. Once people are no longer brainwashed, people still listen. Her music ends up on the radio, there's mostly clear videos of her on the internet and no one's quite sure how.

There's more. Johnny 13 and Kitty, the Box Ghost, Youngblood and his crew, even Skulker are seen as less than a threat to the kids of Casper High. It's clear that even Phantom has a understanding with them.

It's one the adults don't understand. It's one they refuse to listen. The hunters aren't enough. They aren't stopped it, aren't keeping the children of Amity Park from interacting with ghosts. The GIW is losing government backing due to lack of progress and unfounded research.

The adults call in the Justice League. The Fentons fume at the intrusion, but hope that some official backing will help the kids of Amity Park see the truth. Ghosts can't be trusted, they can't feel, they can only lie.

When the Justice League arrives, they're faced with most of the population of Casper High.

The students will not let the League or the Fentons or any other ghost hunter harm what they don't understand. They don't completely get it either, these kids, but they do know it's too easy to belong to the Ghost Zone. It's too easy to die.

They look at Danny. They know. (not that he's Phantom, not that halfas exist, but they know his accident was worse than anyone would believe, that he's seen things they can't understand, that he sets off ghost hunting equipment.)

Amity Park's children stand with ghosts. They stand (quietly) with Danny.

We all have one foot in the grave, they say, would you hunt us? Would you look at us and call us fakes? Would you believe your equipment, this untried, untested, unreviewed research?

The JLA has no idea what they just stepped into, but it's clear these kids aren't giving up a thing.

It's equally clear neither are the adults.

*I’m sure this happened because in Soviet translation of an original book (that was of course made before said series) Bagheera is a female.

**I mean countries that either were a part of Soviet Union or weren’t, but somehow had a bond with it (like Bulgaria, for example)

***I assume that everybody who was born on post-Soviet territory DOES know that “Soviet Bagheera” is a female, her character is really popular.

A little personal story: “This series was a huge part of my childhood (Akela was one of my first crushes ever), and since I was a HUGE fan of felines, of course Bagheera was one of my favorite characters. I didn’t care about the original book til I reached ~12 and my English teacher decided to make our class read a couple of chapters from “The Jungle Book” (in English, but very adapted). When I saw that Bagheera is referred as “he,” for a second I thought it was a typo and after I understood that my beautiful beloved woman is actually a man, I didn’t like it at all. Even now, many years later, Bagheera is still a female to me, I refuse to accept Kipling’s canon where she is a male.”

binged-read all Akela / reader from witcher fics and I SAW THAT ANON WHO SAID SOMETHING ABOUT DYING 🙃

Now I'm having angst brainrot if ever Akela/Reader dies from protecting her family (Geralt, Ciri, Yen, Jaskier) be it from a monster or just dies in general, what would Geralt do? Would she still have time to say her last words to him? Will she die in his arms? AND WHERE WILL HE BURRY HER BODY

My thought is that maybe Geralt would bring the body back to Kaer Morenh (?), wrapped in a white sheet, and places the witcher medallion that Eskel at the tree branch ??? Or maybe she will be burried in a field of flowers? Okay thats enough for my chest hurts now LOL

Noooo 😓 my plan for Akela’s death has always been for her to be buried with the Witchers and for her medallion (the one Eskel made her) to be put on the tree beside her family’s. She actually talks about this with Eskel in For Eskel, I believe??? Granted, she was young, but she definitely meant it, and Eskel definitely meant it when he said her medallion would be put on there too.

Request: Anon- Would you mind doing a Disney one, with Princess Jasmine (I loved Naomi!!)? Maybe reader is Aladdin's sister and she take's her crush, Jasmine, on a magic carpet ride? Also maybe she has an animal like Jasmine and Aladdin do? Like an Arabian wolf or something, who gets along with Raja?

When your older brother brought a beautiful woman to your home, you never thought it would be the princess. You had never met royalty before, but she wasn't anything like you would imagine a princess to be. Princess Jasmine was kind and intelligent and was able to put a smile on your face. When she left to head back to the palace, you doubted you would ever see her again, but you weren't willing to give up on her. Even if she didn't feel anything romantically for you, you wanted to see her smile again and if you could be friends, then that would be enough to hold out hope for.

As the evening begun to draw in and your brother had headed out to see what he could get from the market before it closed, you decided that seeing the princess was your priority. Not caring about asking, you decided to borrow his magic carpet, not knowing any better way to get into a heavily guarded palace. You hoped onto the carpet, your Arabian wolf, Akela, hot on your heels and headed to the balcony that belonged to the woman you cared for.

"Princess," you said softly, hoping she would hear you from her bed chambers but also not wanting to allow anyone else to notice the carpet floating by the balcony. "Princess."

You waited a moment before the curtain twitched and the door opened revealing the beautiful woman, no longer dressed like the peasant she had tried to convince you she was.

"What are you doing here?" She said with a gentle smile.

"I couldn't bear to not see your smile," you admitted. "I thought I could show you Agrabah from the sky, one of the world's greatest beauties, only second to you."

Jasmine bit her lower lip, not wanting to show how much you had flattered her but also contemplating the offer you had given her.

"Is it not dangerous?" She asked.

You shook your head. "I'd never let you fall."

Her tiger joined her on the balcony, rubbing his head against her leg. You wolf hopped from the carpet to join them, giving the tiger a curious sniff before gently nudging him with his head. Even though they were different species, they seemed interested in each other, not having the opportunity to spend time with anything but humans before.

"Do you promise?" She asked.

"I'd never let anything bad happen to you, Jasmine," you assured her. "But the main question is, do you trust me?"

You held out your hand to her, holding it there for a moment to see if she did trust you to take her on a magic carpet ride. She hesitated before a smile curled onto her lips, her hand taking yours, letting you pull her up onto the carpet.

"I trust you with all of my heart."

I think Jemma is going to get to take down AIDA, she is more than motivated to do so.  We saw in in 14 and that was before AIDA kidnapped her man and threw him into an AU land….and mess up her marriage proposal/is standing in the way of getting it.  Daisy gets the Superior as he’s gone into Super Boss mode.  And I”m dying for a “No MAN can’t defeat me” thing from him with Daisy all “I am no man!” and blasts him.  

And Again…Joe fixes this all…like STAT.

My game file of pokemon sun just got corrupted and I wanted to reminisce because I named everyone I caught on that game and loved them all. Have you ever had an experience where you've lost a pokemon game? What was your favourite pokemon within that game? Or alternatively (if you've never lost the save file) who has been your favourite caught-in-game pokemon to date?

aww anon im sorry that happened :’( and I’ve thought about it for a bit, I don’t think I’ve ever lost a Pokemon game file?? aaaand my favorite in game Pokemon is probably Velveteen, my shiny lopunny i have in AS because he took so long to chain for. runner up would prob be Akela, my primarina in Sun because he’s a BEAST in battle and i just love primarina a lot ;;; _ ;;; runner up number two is probably Isaac the clefable, in an incarnation of him I have in AS where his moves and IV training are improved from LG. clefable has ended up as probably my second favorite Pokemon because they’re so fun to have on the team.
