印度氧氣危機日益嚴重，德里多家醫院已停止接收新的病人

醫院表示，從周六（5月1日）中午12點到下午1點15分，中央供氧機裡沒有氧氣。這位醫生說，除了那些死亡的人外，其他危重患者還面臨著“ 由於缺氧而造成的長期損害”。

該醫院的醫務主任古普塔（Dr SCL Gupta）博士說：“ 我們只有在定期獲得足夠的氧氣供應後才會增加床位數量。我們可不​​想天天糾結，打50個電話要貨源。我們已經告訴政府，我們將湊合著用最低限度的供應量”。

Video of a security guard being hit by a car with a female driver inside DDA SFS Flats in Sector 5, Dwarka, has gone viral. The incident happened on February 9, and the video has been circulated by the RWA general secretary of the society, Mahesh Gupta.

Here’s what he had to say: “On February 9, an accident happened at front gate, leaving our guard, Manoj, severely injured. This outsider was driving the car without a driving license. The guard sitting inside the society at the gate and was crushed between the car and the guard room wall. Complaint has been lodged with South Police Station.”

Gupta shared the number of the vehicle DL9CN5487 (Zen Lxi Estilo) on various WhatsApp groups.

According to information shared by Dwarka ACP Rajender Singh, an FIR has been registered and the offending vehicle has been impounded.

The driver Poornima Vishal, who has been arrested, was driving without a license.

The guard was admitted to Akash Hospital in Sector 3 and is currently under going treatment.

Amid rising Covid-19 cases in Delhi, housing societies have started setting up their own isolation centers for patients to combat the pandemic.

The Federation of CGHS, Dwarka, has converted apartments’ office halls into six-bed and four-bed isolation centers.

The four-bed isolation center at Neelachal Apartments in Sector 4 of Dwarka was inaugurated by Southwest District Magistrate Rahul Singh.

“The residents of the society came forward with the idea of establishing isolation centers for Covid-19 patients with mild or moderate symptoms,” said Chandra Shekhar, SDM, Dwarka.

“To meet any medical emergency, we will provide doctors and take necessary actions. If the health of a person in an isolation center worsens and he/she needs to be admitted to a hospital, then arrangements will be made,” he said.

The idea to set up isolation centers came seeing the bed’s shortage in hospitals and hefty fees at private hospitals, said Akash Khatri, President of Neelachal Apartments Society.

The four-bed isolation center was equipped with medical supplies, such as oxygen cylinders, separate toilet, oximeter, thermal scanner, masks, gloves, and personal protective equipment kits, Khatri told IANS.

The society had requested the administration to provide doctors and nurses to monitor the health of patients, he said. “Some local doctors have also volunteered to help us,” Khatri said.

Delhi has overtaken Tamil Nadu to become the second worst-hit state with 62,655 cases. According to the Union Health Ministry update, 2,233 deaths due to the infection have been recorded in the national capital.

Adhering to the directive issued by the Supreme Court for celebrating Diwali in a proper manner, the local police across Dwarka on Thursday released a list of designated places where people can burst crackers.

The list was circulated by the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) and the respective Station House Officers (SHOs) of the area on WhatsApp groups of residents. Besides, it is being circulated to all the Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) in Dwarka.

According to the list, the Community Centre of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) at Sector 22 and 23 are the designated places for people residing in these areas.

Besides, there are two more spots which have been designated - one is at the Dhoolsiras village near DTC bus stand and Shiv Mandir and the other one is near Dada Mota Mandir at the Bharthal village.

For Dwarka South, two vacant plots of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) have been designated for this purpose. One is at Sector 2, Pocket 1 whereas the other one is at Pocket 2.

Similarly for Dwarka North, more than two places have been listed. They are the park opposite to Akash Hospital, Raja Puri, Ram Lila ground, near Radisson Hotel, Community Hall of Sector 12, DDA market and Community Hall of Sector 17.

When City Spidey asked police about the procedure they followed to choose these places, they said, “These were selected by the civic bodies first and then, we marked specific spots which come under three major police stations of the area.”

Replying to the question on how hopeful are they when it comes to making people follow set rules, ACP Rajendra Singh said, “We played a proactive role with the RWAs, residents and made all aware about the rules laid by the apex body. Now it is my appeal to co-operate.”
