I watched Encanto and just like everyone else, I fell in love these two. Had to sketch them for practice.

Day 25 of my OCtober challenge fav.me/dcn959f. (These were delayed due to moving.) Prompt was black and the character is Yaa. Yaa Paintsil is a mandarin fish mermaid working as a hairdresser. She is very much a fashionista and focuses a great amount of energy in her appearance. Due to her being a mermaid previously, she isn’t able to walk and instead uses flight as her mode of transportation. Most of the time she prefers to use a wheelchair instead. She is very chaste and pure, yet rather judgemental.

She is very rational and down-to-earth. People get easily frightened by her appearance but she is very peaceful. She enjoys reading, walks at the shore and the night time. She can travel through time and space.
