Aislinn Tanaka x Verity Wright and Raelyn x Hana Lee

"Verity, are you sure you're going to be okay? We don't have to stay long." Aislinn worried asks Verity the 5th time since they got in the car this morning.

"Aislinn, babe, I'm fine, we'll find a spot under the shade, put the umbrella up, keep my sunglasses on so the sun don't fry my eyeballs, I got a cooler of the uh you know what to keep my strength up and I got my bracelet on." Verity says shaking their wrist where the bracelet that kept the sun from burning them rattled. Being a vampire sometimes put a damper on the couple's daytime plans but Verity wanted to spend the day with Aislinn no matter what, so if being a little uncomfortable today was the price to see that golden glow of happiness on Aislinn's face, Verity had no problem roasting a little bit.

"Well okay, but you'll say something if it gets too-oh!" Aislinn suddenly lurches as another woman suddenly slammed into her.

"Oh my, I'm so sorry! Forgive me!" The woman apologizes to Aislinn.

"That's alright! I love your dress!" Aislinn says reassuringly.

"Thank you! I love yours! Maybe I can entice the name of your tailor from you with some of the coconut cake I made this morning." The brunette says as a blue haired individual casually walks up beside her.

"Hana, my love, not everyone has a tailor. Hello. I'm Raelyn and this is my wife Hana." Raelyn says offering their hand to Verity and Aislinn.

Hi, I'm Aislinn and this is my partner Verity, and a slice of coconut cake would be delicious! But only if you'll help us eat the strawberries I bought." Aislinn says after looking at Verity who smiled and nodded.

"That sounds delightful! Let's find the perfect spot!" Hana says excitedly which was contagious to Aislinn and as the two started walking Aislinn began to explain the boutique she bought her yellow sun dress from. Raelyn chuckles.

"Oh lordy, I forsee another shopping trip in the future. Let me help you carry something." Raelyn says and grabs the umbrella from Verity.

"Oof, you were carrying this big heavy umbrella and that huge cooler? You're quite strong!" Raelyn says in wonder.

"Heh...yeah I work out." Verity says sheepishly inwardly making a note to pay more attention to the average carrying limit for humans close to their size.

"Raelyn, Verity! We found a spot!"

"Coming! You're going to love Hana's cake by the way. She's such a good baker, she could give Yvette Flynn a run for her money." Raelyn says proudly. Verity smiles at Raelyn, already feeling like they were getting new friend. The sun still made Verity a tad nauseous, but with Aislinn smiling so beautifully at them and the friendly couple offering space, time, food and kindness to them, well...Verity couldn't complain! ❤️

Vampire Verity Feeding from Aislinn for the 1st Time

Aislinn Tanaka x vampire OC (Verity Wright)

Aislinn's hands trembled as she rushed to grab her purse. All she wanted to do was get back to Verity. After staring down the barrel of a gun and into the cold eyes of a killer, she just wanted to feel safe, and ironically it was a vampire that was the only one who made her feel safe.

She paused when she saw Verity's office light was off but relaxed when she saw them standing in front of their window. Dropping her things in a chair she walked up to Verity and wrapped her arms around the vampire. It felt as if she was hugging a boulder, Verity was so tense. Then she noticed they were glaring out the window, their eyes glowing blood red.

"Verity?"

"It's taking all my willpower to keep from tracking that-that man down right now. But if I do, he won't be in one piece when I'm done with him." Verity growled.

"It's okay, we'll figure something out, we may have lost Aliana's phone-"

"I don't give a damn about that phone Ash! Or about this god forsaken case anymore! I just..." Verity very carefully laid their forehead against the glass window in frustration. Aislinn comes around in between Verity and the window and is quickly pinned up against it. The look in Verity's eyes isn't anger anymore but desperate hopeless fear.

"Seeing that gun man standing over you...I've never felt so out of control. I've never felt such rage before" Verity's face twisted into something more inhuman at the memory but quickly softened at Aislinn's gentle touch. "I can't lose you. It would tear me apart, Aislinn." Verity says burying their face into Aislinn's chest right over her heart.

"Oh Verity. I'm okay. I'm safe. You kept me safe."

"Always." Verity's reply is muffled in Aislinn's chest but firm. Aislinn drags Verity's face up to lock their lips together and the kiss quickly turns hungry.

Aislinn pulls back just enough to frantically say, "I want to be with you, please, I need you Verity." Dragging a tortured moan from the vampire.

"I'm sorry, I need to feed, I don't trust myself right now."

"Then feed from me." Aislinn says, taking her white sash off, exposing her throat.

"Aislinn...you don't have to-"

"I want you to, Verity. I want to give you everything you need. Whatever you want, is yours." A thrill runs up her spine at Verity's whimper but a gasp escapes her own lips when Verity suddenly rips her suit jacket down her arms, tears her white shirt into shreds and hoists her up in their arms.

Verity's hair tickles Aislinn's neck and she throws her head back when they trail kisses up and down the column of her throat.

"I won't hurt you...I'll never hurt you, Aislinn." Verity softly says.

"I know baby, I know." Aislinn says her jaw dropping in a silent gasp, her eyes rolling back slightly as Verity sinks their fangs into her neck. Euphoria races through Aislinn's body as Verity groans at her taste and Aislinn knew she was in for a long but beautiful night.

Hi! 😁 Ah, Aislinn and my vampire OC Verity!

I just took my mc I use in LOA, hc them as nonbinary and imagined them as a vampire. I wondered how a vampire could navigate NYC and a law firm. I also imagined how Aislinn would react to finding out that they're a vampire. Asked @sazanes to do a commission of them and voila...the hc was born!

Despite the fact that Verity looks like a Blood bound vampire, I'm not 100% sure my version of this LOA and vampire Verity coexist with the BB universe. As much as I love Lily and Kamilah, I really didn't want to have to deal with the Vampire Clans and all their territories and strict rules with this AU so I just say this hc isn't part of the BB universe. (Also the reason why Verity can live in NYC which has an average of 234 days of some sunshine, is because they have a bracelet that gives them partial immunity to the sun. They're able to walk around in the sun without burning but it does make them weak and it isn't comfortable for them.)

Verity Wright's Past:

Verity is actually a very young vampire, a baby vamp, most older vampires would call them. They're less than 100 years old, in fact, Verity is in their early 70s, born in the 1950s. Aislinn teasingly calls them her "boomer," or "boomer baby."

Verity's birth mother was a young teen who gave birth to Verity and left them at a Chicago Illinois hospital. A kind nurse named Gena Wright adopts the baby Verity even though she's a vampire.

Verity grew up in a happy home and even went to law school. But in 1985, at age 31 they were beaten and left to die by gang members they were trying to bring to justice. Thankfully Gena found them and not wanting to let them go, she turned them.

Verity took becoming a vampire very well. They were aware of the existence of vampires so it wasn't much of shock to them. The hardest part for them was coming to terms with their blood lust and how that put them behind in their career. Gena and Verity moved to a rural area of Montana so Verity could isolate themselves and gradually gain control. Eventually they were able to coexist with humans and go back to law school, and become an associate. This is where Sadie McGraw finds them. (Kinda explains how the MC is so good at being a lawyer lol, Verity is older than Sadie)

Timeline of Aislinn x Verity:

The 2 date for over a year and half before moving in together and 3 years before Verity proposed to Aislinn.

They're the power couple lawyers of NYC, with a staggering amount of wins between the two of them.

Originally Aislinn decided to wait until she hit her 50s before being turned but when she is diagnosed at 46 with pancreatic cancer she asks to be turned. She learns how to control her blood lust very quickly for a fledgling vampire and the two reinvent their lives as lawyers and sometimes law professors throughout the centuries.

Hi 🦋!

Life after LOA 2:

Well, Aislinn and Verity stay at Ricci, Tanaka & Wright (or was it Ricci, [MC's last name] and Tanaka? It's been a bit since I finished LOA2) until Aislinn is diagnosed with cancer and asks to be turned. (Which came at a good time because a LOT of people were commenting that Verity didn't look a day over 30) They "retire" and move back to Montana with Gena Wright (Verity's adoptive mom and the woman who turned them) and Aislinn is turned.

Now a newly turned vampire, Aislinn is slowly reintroduced into the world of humans gradually over 10 years (which seems like a long time but is actually short for a newly turned vampire. Aislinn has an exceptional amount of control for a vampire). They take some time to travel for a little bit and than decide to buckle down. They move to Alaska, get married again and go back to law school. After graduation and passing the bar exam they end up getting hired by rival firms lol. The few times they went head to head in the courtroom were 🥵 lol but they got a kick out of it. Eventually though they move up the ladder and together started their own law firm. Until they got too "old" so they start over in a new city, new life. From time to time Aislinn gets her teaching degree and teaches law as a college professor in some life times.

In between lifetimes, so about every 30-40 years, they spend time traveling together and/or just spending time in "retirement" until they get that itch for the courtroom and they happily start over.

Aislinn on Verity's Vampirism:

There was the initial shock when realizing that some of the supernatural creatures from stories were actually real but Aislinn accepted Verity and was in fact, fascinated by them.

Aislinn found Verity being a vampire sexy. Verity could hold and carry Aislinn without ever getting tired, Verity can easily pin her down, and there's no overpowering a vampire. And when Verity fed from her, it's an erotic experience. The downside, though, was that since Verity could easily lose control during sexy times, they tend to handle Aislinn like glass. They refuse to get rough with Aislinn until well after she's turned. A kiss could turn into broken teeth, jaws, or nose. Move too fast or too hard, Verity could accidentally break Aislinn's pelvis, clench Aislinn's wrists wrong and she would snap like a twig so Verity is careful to the extreme, which irritated Aislinn at times, but after having to replace the bed and a couple of desks a few times she understood Verity's fear. [The worst Aislinn "suffered" from Verity was some light bruises, which caused Verity to spiral, but Aislinn was pleased with and quickly tried to reassure Verity she was fine, she had gotten worse bruises by slamming into her own desk]

One of the biggest cons with living with a vampire is how big of a damper the sun can be to outside activities. Even though Verity always wears their bracelet, the sun still hurts and makes them sick if they're out under it for too long. Camping and hiking on a sunny day is miserable for Verity. And Aislinn found that out the hard way after Verity tried to tough it out for Aislinn and ended up nearly passing out. It about gave Aislinn a heart attack and after getting them out of the sun and their strength back, she scolded them for not telling her how bad it was. (At that time, Verity had Aislinn thinking the bracelet gave Verity total immunity to the sun rather than just partial, because they didn't want Aislinn to miss out on activities and her hobbies) Afterwards Aislinn is always checking in on Verity, making sure to always have a pair of sunglasses, an umbrella and a long sleeve shirt on her, just in case Verity forgets. (Which is often lol because as intelligent as Verity is, they can be a little bit of airhead when it comes to taking care of themselves.)

Hana and Raelyn made a coconut cake, mostly Hana but Raelyn helped lol.

Both Aislinn and Verity work long hours so they didn't have time to cook and aren't confident in their cooking skills so Verity grabbed some sodas for everyone (since they have to sneak their own drink 🩸) And Aislinn stopped and grabbed some strawberries from a farmers market on the way to the picnic.

What are some headcanons for your OCs x LIs?

Oooo...I really need to find one of those lists things so that people can ask me about Hana x Raelyn and Verity x Aislinn.

Hana Lee x Raelyn Lee

Raelyn's birthday: December 22nd (Fun fact: despite being twins, Riley was born several minutes before Raelyn on December 21st making her a Sagittarius while Raelyn is a Capricorn) Which is just ammo for Riley to tease Raelyn all the time with lol. Hana is a Pisces making Raelyn a perfect match for her.

I headcanon that their relationship progressed much faster than it did in the series. In the series, MC is competing for the Prince's hand and could potentially romance 2 other guys as well as Hana, so I could see Hana being more wary about MC's feelings for her. But in my hc, Raelyn is an OC made solely for Hana. For Raelyn, there's no one else but Hana so that devotion captured Hana's attention and she was able to fall for Raelyn faster than canon.

The Lee Children: Jasmine Lee and Juniper Lee 6 years apart

Raelyn low key really would like to not be a duke/chess. They don't like the fancy outfits, all the balls and galas, and playing nice to backstabbing nobles but feels obligated by their sister to help get Cordonia on the right track, to give Hana the fancy life she only ever known and a good life for their daughters. Hana catches on and the two have a serious talk about their future. Once their children are almost adults, they pass the duchy title to them and live more simply, and are much happier off.

Aislinn Tanaka x Verity Wright

Star signs: Aislinn is a Cancer and Verity a Virgo.

After getting married they decided to share a hyphenated last name: Tanaka-Wright

There are bars specifically for vampires that humans in the know can go to donate blood either the normal way, the same way you donate blood at a blood drive or in a more intimate way, veins straight to the vampire's mouth. When Aislinn learns of the existence of these bars, she gets jealous, lol. Although Verity is the vampire, Aislinn can be a little more territorial. Verity explains that they only buy their blood stock from there, and rarely ever drink straight from the source, and since meeting Aislinn, they only drink from blood bags, since drinking straight from a human is an erotic experience. If it was completely up to Aislinn, Verity would only drink from her but Verity needs more blood than is healthy to drink from one human so she is fine with Verity drinking from donated blood from time to time but absolutely loves when Verity feeds from her.

Child free lifestyle: They both would be open to adopting a child if the other really wanted kids but they both are very busy people and end up preferring to spend all their free time and love on each other instead. Perhaps a child may fall into their laps in a century or so, or maybe not, who knows 🤭. Their lives are happy, full and complete without children anyway.
