And the Saga continues~
Introducing part 3 of Past, Present, and Future: An Arcana Saga:
The Interlude
The three years that take place between the Masquerade ritual and the in-game route, told in very short stories between Asra, Aisling (The Apprentice), and Julian's POVs. Ft. Altheia Featherstone, LunaStarhawk's OC. 😊
It's much shorter than the other two parts, but if you haven't read those first I highly recommend because there will be a lot of references that will be missed!

Christmas Traditions - Mason Mount
Day 2 of 25 Days til Christmas
Tumblr media
Closed eyes, with your nose tipped pointing towards the sky, you inhaled in a slow breath of fresh air. Winter was at its peak, snow coating the ground in front of you, glistening. Some would say the weather was arctic. The temperatures reached well below zero, but you were so used to the UK weather, your entire life it has been like this.
Cold weather was nothing new to your body; instead, during the winter months, it had become an excuse to don the cosiest sweaters and your warmest boots. It was the time of year to curl up beside a blazing fire, while drinking hot chocolate.
There was nothing better than burrowing under a warm duvet, reading a book and cuddling with your boyfriend, Mason, late into the evenings during these chilly evenings.
With the Christmas season fast approaching, it meant another year of cherished traditions, only this year, you got to share every moment with Mason. These thoughts brought a soft smile to your face, when two arms looped around your middle, lifting you effortlessly off your feet.
With a squeal of surprise, eyes wide open, the room was now spinning from you spinning, Mason pecked your cheeks in a dozen of tiny kisses.
“Oh my god, Mase!” You screeched, trying to wriggle around in his grip, while he let out a laughter. “You scared me” You say, with one last circle, your feet were returned firmly to the frozen ground.
Turning around in his arms, you were met with Mason's brown eyes, shining at you. Your heart instantly performed a series of backflips as it so often did, whenever he flashed you that infamous grin.
“Did you get some pretty shots?” Mason quipped, gesturing to the black Nikon camera hanging from the strap slung around your neck.
“Yeah, some,” you shrugged with a playful smirk, looking around at the rows and rows of pine trees, “I love when everything is all covered in snow and ice like this. We don’t get much but when we do, it's beautiful.”
Mason stood back and watched the way your eyes lit up when you talked about your photography, a smile painted on your lips. He knew it was your passion, but he also knew that you refused to ever admit how truly talented you were. So, he made sure to tell you at every chance he got.
“I have no doubt you got some amazing shots.” He hummed, placing an arm around your shoulders while pulling you in close. All you could do was smile, feeling a slight blush flood your cheekbones with colour.
“so, what’s next?” Mason asked, leaning down to peck a quick kiss to the top of your head before allowing you to drag him further down the rows of pine trees.
“We pick a tree.” You chuckle at his question, as you couldn’t help but giggle at the eagerness in every step he took. He looked like a kid walking down the aisles of sweets. His brown eyes bright, his cheeks rosy from the cold. The excitement was visible on his face as you strode along, hand in hand in search of the dream tree.
This was your first Christmas together, in your shared house and Mason was determined to make it a memorable one. Suddenly, Mason stopped walking tugging you back by the hand he held firmly with yours.
“This one,” he exclaimed, eyes scanning from top to bottom of the impressive spruce, “it’s perfect.” Nodding your head in silent agreement, Mason proudly was heading to see if someone could help with cutting the tree.
“Whoa, Mason wait,” you murmured, reaching out for his shoulder with a laugh, "we should take a picture first. In front of our first Christmas tree.” Just when you thought he couldn’t possibly get any happier, his smile grew three times wider.
“Tree selfie?” he chuckled happily, his voice ringing loudly like silver bells through the winter air, “I love it.”
It was something you had always done with your parents, to take a family photo when picking a tree. So, Mason knew how much it meant to you, by doing this today.
Slipping one arm around his neck, you shifted the camera into your other hand and skilfully snapped the picture.
Once they brought the tree home, you and Mason tried several times to move it in the house where you wanted it to be. You started to let it settle in place before starting to decorate it.
The rest of the afternoon consisted of eating freshly baked cookies, and sipping on hot chocolate.
Then came your most favourite memory from your childhood, which was a ride on a horse drawn sleigh. Two white horses pulled the sleigh effortlessly around the tree farm you were visiting earlier that morning.
You sat tucked comfortably against Mason’s side, a blanket strewn over your laps protecting you both from the cold. Taking Mason’s hand in yours, you wove your petite fingers through his. Peering down at you he gave your hand a firm squeeze. Adoration was written across every inch of his face when he looked at you.
“I think I’d be happy if this moment lasted forever.” You say leaning against his shoulder. ---

Innocent Eyes - Jack Grealish
‘‘Do you remember when you were 15? and the kids at school called you a fool ‘cause you took the chance to dream’
Prompt from song prompt challenge.Hope everyone likes it,
Recommends listening to Innocent Eyes - Delta Goodrem
Note: Thank you for everyone who voted, it was so close between Jack and Mason by one point. Hoping to write something with Mason soon :)
The final was approaching, fast. One minute it was the semi-final the next blink it was the morning of the final. You and Jack were on and off more than a merry-go round. But he was your best friend in the world. Jack and you grew up together…you would say you could be ‘high school sweethearts. But you tried dating, numerous times and it just didn’t work. You agreed that the friendship was more important than if the relationship turned sour and went our separate ways.
You sat at home, getting ready. You were heading to Wembley with Jack’s family, who was basically your second parents. Your phone rang on your bed, it was Jack wanting to facetime. You answered straight away and the biggest smile on your face in weeks crept on you face.
“Hey Jack! How are you feeling?” You asked as you sat on the edge of the bed.
“Yeah…a little nervous, see what the gaffer says in a bit.” He spoke and nodded.
Silence.
You knew Jack was thinking about the game. You had waited for this moment for him for so long to be in a major tournament final. Of course, he played in the under 21’s but this was different.
“Do you remember when we were 7?” you asked, as Jack turned his attention back to you. “The only thing you wanted to do was play show your mum that you could play football.” You say to him.
Jack laughed slightly and nodded “Yeah…broke the window she never let me live that down.” He said reliving the memory.
“Ten years passed, and you signed up to the club, and it last…look where you are.” You say smiling
Jack smiled and nodded. “I guess” He said quietly as he reflected.
“I miss those days, when it uses to be fantasy, something you’d want to do, and time would stop. But its Jack…you’re in a European Championship final. I’m so proud of you.” You tell him
Jack smiled and nodded again. “Aw, babe you’re so cute.” He laughed it off.
You chatted for a few more minutes before he had to go, you promised you’d give him the biggest hug going win or lose.
The game was electrifying, when the first goal you really thought we would win it, but it just didn’t want to come home.
The players looked distraught on the pitch, you searched for Jack, he was with his teammates consoling his teammates while families sat in the section was waiting to hug their loved one.
Jack walked over to us; he went towards his mother first who was crying at the sight of her little boy being distraught. You stood back letting the family have a little moment before Jack came over.
“You alright babe?” He asks as he pulls you in a hug.
“Shouldn’t I be asking that to you?” You laughed.
“Yeah…it’s going to sting for a while, but the lads did their best. It just didn’t want to come home.” He shrugged it off like he wasn’t hurt.
“Well, we’re still proud of you all.” You smiled.
You got moved by staff to meet the players back in the players’ lounge, they would be right through once they showered and did the after match.
You did get to witness Jack giving his boots to the young boy, which made you smile.
Later in the players you sat in the lounge waiting for Jack to come around after he spent time with other players families having photos.
Jack was sat at the table; he now was very quiet and still hurt from the loss. You sit next to him.
“Remember when you were 15 and people thought you wouldn’t get anywhere, with this football and time has passed and now look at you, you just played a final…granted you came on, but you still played.” You say as you rest your chin on his shoulder.

Winter Baby - Ben Chilwell
Day 21 of 25 Days til Christmas!! (side note: happy birthday ben!)
Seriously thinking of making a series, if you like this...please keep an eye out for the imagine Christmas Day, as its a follow on :)
Tumblr media
You and Ben were so excited to meet your new arrival. You were hoping that the baby would soon be here before Christmas as you both felt it would be the perfect Christmas present for you and Ben if this did happen.
Luckily Ben hadn’t been training after a knock in a match, much to his disappointment and annoyance but your delight. He was able to spend some days at home which was a bonus as you didn’t know how long it would be before the baby would be born.
You decided to wrap Ben’s birthday presents for tomorrow while Ben was out walking the dog, so you thought it was the perfect opportunity. You had finished wrapping when you felt a twinge in the lower pelvic area, which caught you off guard, unsure if it was something or nothing.
You managed to make your way down the stairs that was all decorated ready for Christmas as Ben walked through the front door relieved that he wasn’t long out as he usually is which at times, he would go out running with the dog.
“You alright? You don’t look well.” Ben asked concerned as he unhooked the dog’s lead. You nodded rubbing the side of your bump.
“Yeah, she’s just making sure I know she’s still there.” You smile, as you walked down the last few steps to kiss Ben’s cheeks.
Both of you wanted to find out the gender as you were impatient. You were over the moon that you were having a girl as you knew she was going to have Ben wrapped around her little finger.
Ben nodded as he took his jacket off and followed you in the lounge. You had ordered take out earlier ready for a movie night with Ben. It was tradition Indian and a movie the evening before his birthday. You were trying to convince him to have a Chinese but Indian was always the winner.
You needed to go to the bathroom for what felt like the millionth time today, so you struggled off the couch as you felt a twinge again, this time it was stronger than what you had earlier in the evening.
“Ben” You say calmly which made him hum an answer not taking his eyes off the movie.
“I think the baby is coming.” You say, as you breathed through what you thought could be a contraction.
Ben stood up and looked at you like a deer in headlights. “I’ll go and grab the bag and your pillow.” He says, as he made a bee line for the stairs knocking the ornaments off the banister which caused you to wince, as you put your coat on, you felt your waters go.
“I need to clean that up.” You say, as you head for the cleaning cupboard.
“You do no such thing” Ben tells you as he walked away before coming back not three seconds later, with his training trousers. “Put these on, I’ll clear this up.” He tells you.
You obeyed the ordered and went in the downstairs bathroom to change before walking out to Ben walking back into the house. “Bag is in the car, ready?” He asked.
“Ready as I ever be” You smile, as you walked out into the car. When you managed to get in the car, the pain was starting to get bad as you started to breath something you learnt in antenatal class, something you was thankful you went to.
By the time you arrived at the hospital and filled out all the relevant paperwork you were in the room, you had settled in bed after Ben had pumped up your pillows and got you to lie back it wasn’t long before the midwife came in and did checks. You weren’t far along so it was suggested that you were to walk around a little. So, you did.
You and Ben walked along the long corridors outside the ward, you held onto Ben as you walked “she’s properly kicking me” You wince, as you hold your bump.
“Do you want to go back?” Ben asked concerned, as he held your hand moving out your hair from your eyes with his other.
You nodded, as you start to make you way back to the ward. “She’ll be here soon” Ben spoke, smiling from ear to ear. “Bit annoyed the little one couldn’t wait” He laughed.
It suddenly dawned on you it was Ben’s birthday tomorrow. “Shit, your birthday. Your present is sat home.” You say, thinking about the presents that laid on the bed in the spare room.
“That can wait and besides, she could be here before or after my birthday.” Ben shrugged.
“Hm” You hummed, as you returned to your room. You make a beeline for the bed, as your back was killing you. Ben fluffed the pillows up again, as you got comfortable.
“I should go and call everyone, you should get some rest.” Ben says as he kisses your head as you hummed a response tiredly. Watching him walk out of the room you sighed as you closed your eyes.
You were unsure how long you were asleep for. When you did wake up, Ben was sitting in the chair next door to you scrolling through his phone. “Did you sleep? What time is it?” You asked as you sat up in bed.
“No, I didn’t want to sleep in case you needed anything and it’s 01:40 in the morning.” Ben checked his phone and looked at you and smiled.
“Happy Birthday!” You say, smiling remembering it now was Ben’s birthday.

I Don’t Care - Mason Mount
‘I don't care what they say, I don't care what they do, they can lock me up forever, try to stop me loving you.’
Based on Delta Goodrem - I don’t Care.
Hope you like it!
AN: it took me ages to upload it as we’ve had massive town power surge.
You were meeting up with the girls out in a bar, you haven’t seen them in forever, but with you being in a new relationship and working long hours that took most of the time and left little room to socialize. You were currently in a relationship with Mason Mount, the famous Chelsea football player, something you would never say in your lifetime, but here you are in the car on the phone to Mason who had just finished training. “Right, I’m just arriving their babe, so I’ll give you a call later?” You were smiling like a schoolgirl as you were concentrated on the road. “Yeah, okay, babe. I’m going to see if one of the lads wants to play FIFA. Have fun. I’ll speak to you soon. He said before hanging up. You weren’t at the stage where you said ‘I love you’d', but you were absolutely certain Mason was the one. You arrived at the bar that we’re meeting at. We’re excited to meet you. You placed your handbag on your shoulder as you walked up to where the girls were sat. “Ahh, finally, you manage to escape your new beau for a day.” One of them teased. “Actually, I haven’t seen him since yesterday morning, we’ve been busy with work. ” You said as you took a seat. “"If you call it that, it’s a bag of wind, he kicks around, isn’t it?” Another of your friend piped up. You tilted your head to the side and looked at your friends:“Do you have a problem?"" You were looking at the three in front of you. “aw, he’s going to break your heart. I mean, he’s a footballer, he’s not going to be with you for that long.” One of the girls spoke. “It’s trouble waiting to happen,” Another spoke. You looked at them getting angrier and scoffed. “So, if you met Mason, you’ll realize he’s great, he’s down to earth and is an all-round family and friends’ guy when he’s off the pitch. But you’ve only assumed he was an up his own arse and just kicks a ball around.” You bite back. “You don’t know mine and Mason’s relationship…you’ve never met him, so who are you to judge.” You carried on ranting. “We just don’t want you to get hurt.” One of the girls gave a sympathetic smile and tried to touch your hand as you moved away. “Well…I’m not, I know what I’m doing. I would have thought my friends to be a bit more understanding, but obviously not. That has hurt me,” You snapped, as you grabbed your bag. “Thank you for the invite ladies, but suddenly my appetite has gone, and I don’t particularly want a salty dinner, so you enjoy. I’m going to go home and be with my boyfriend who was actually wanting to meet you, but I guess that won’t happen anytime soon unless you accept the fact, I have to make my own decisions on whom I date.” You got off your chair and snapped. “Y/N” you heard one of the girls shout after you, but you walked out of the restaurant You got in your car and let out a frustrated sigh, you couldn’t believe your friends. It was like an intervention. You sat there for a few moments, ignoring the calls and texts the girls we’re already sending. You wiped your hand over your face and hair before starting your car and just drove. Until you got to the familiar 6ft gates. You sat there for a while before you buzzed the gate. It wasn’t long before the gates opened, and you drove your car in. You sat in the car a few moments, you didn’t want to cry in front of Mason and tell him what the girls said but at the same time you didn’t, you composed yourself and got out of your car and rang the doorbell, standing there biting your lip waiting for Mason to open the door. A few moments, Mason appeared, on the phone and looked at you and smiled. The smile soon faded when he saw how you looked. “Dec…I’ll give you a call back in a bit mate.” Mason said before hanging up before he even got a response from the other end. “What you’re doing here?” He asked. “Are you okay?” You just shook your head and burst into tears, running into Mason’s chest as he wrapped his arms around you, unsure what was going off. “Can I stay with you tonight?” You muttered as you wiped away your tears. “Of course, you don’t need to ask.” Mason says as he kisses your
forehead, shutting the door behind you. ** You laid next to Mason, watching a film on the TV, you didn’t say what went off at your meet up with your friends, but Mason had an idea it didn’t go well. He’d just stayed silent and didn’t ask questions. You moved yourself to lay on his chest and snuggled down and felt relaxed. You bite your lip. “The girls don’t think you’re good for me.” You spoke softly. “They think you’re just a footballer.” You spoke. Mason stayed silent for a second, “I am a footballer…” He laughed a little. “No, I know that, but they think you’re a footballer that would break my heart.” You speak. “But they don’t understand what we have. I told them they should meet you and know what you’re like.” You spoke. “I promise I won’t break your heart.” He said kissing your forehead. “Besides, I’m sure they’ll change their minds if they meet me. I wouldn’t get yourself upset about it, love. I’m sure they had your best interest at heart.” Mason spoke. You scoffed. “See, you’re too nice, you’re even sticking up for them.” You say, “It’s why I love you, you seriously have not a bad word to say about anyone.” You say, blushing slightly because you realised it’s the first time you said I loved you to Mase. “I love you too.” He laughed as he kissed you. “But don’t stress, okay, you’ll work it out with them.” He spoke. You were unsure, they hurt you bad, but you just agreed, as you snuggled into Mason even more. “I’m going to love you anyway.” You mutter.

Can you do one where you ask your best friend Jack to give you away at your wedding and you have a little cute moment
You were playing with your engagement ring as you sat beside your best friend, your head was on Jack’s shoulder. You had only been engaged for a couple of weeks and you had already been planning your big day.
You got asked about who you wanted to give you away and it was a no brainer. It had to be Jack, he was like a brother to you and he was always there for you no matter what life threw at you. The Grealish’s were like a family for you, when you didn’t have yours they always brought you in and looked after you like you were one of their own.
You looked up at him as you were nervous about asking him.
‘So I was thinking about who would give me away..’ you say casually.
He hums. ‘Who you thinking’
‘You..’
He freezes as he looks at you and raises his brows at you, as you nod.
‘I can’t think of anyone better, no one I’d rather have by my side’ you grin. ‘No one I would rather argue my way the aisle to’ you giggle.
He pulls you in and gives you a bone crushing hug. ‘It would be a pleasure’ he kisses your forehead as he sways you both from side to side.

Loved the Grealish one please can I request one where you and him meet for the first time when he visits the school you work out and then you bump into him in a super market again
You were a PE teacher at a primary school and you were set to have some of the Aston Villa players to come for a day. They were going to join in with a football game between your class and another one.
Grealish was your classes ‘coach’ and stood at the touch line shouting at them to do defend or attack, you stood on the other side shouting their names. A few times you and Jack locked eyes with eachother and he couldn’t help but think about how gorgeous you were. You had hardly any make up on but you were still looked perfect in his eyes. You wore a smile on your face as your class scored, as they ran to you in celebration.
By the end Jack came with your class and sat and answered questions and told them about his journey to the premier league.
You thanked him at the end and you both exchanged a handshake. He was about to ask for your number when Tyrone interrupted him shouting from down the hall that the car has arrived.
By the time Friday rolled around you went to the shop to get some food in for the weekend. You pushed the trolley and picked up a lot of food that you knew you needed. You walked down the biscuit aisle when you suddenly crashed into someone.
‘Oh shit, I’m so sorry’ a voice spoke.
You looked and was met with Jack, he had been sliding with the trolley down the empty aisle with Tyrone and a brunette guy looking at the biscuits.
‘Oh Miss YLN’ he smiled.
‘Grealish’ you grinned.
You guys spoke for a bit, you learning that they were picking up some bits for the journey to Manchester this weekend. He looked over his shoulder as you both noticed his teammates watching. You gave Tyrone a little wave as he shouted a ‘Hello YLN’ before he pretended to carry on deciding on the biscuits.
Jack took the opportunity and asked for your number, which took you by surprise. For the past week your colleagues have been at you for not biting the bullet and asking him for his number or a date. But you didn’t think anything by it.
You took his phone and entered your number, you handed it back to him and mentioned that you don’t want something cheesy as a date. Before he can say anything you are walking away from him, you gently take the Oreo box from Tyrone and walk off, giving Jack a small wink before you disappear.

Slow dancing with Jack grealish
You were at your best friends wedding and you pull Jack onto the dance floor with you, he instantly holds onto your waist with you wrapping your arms around his shoulders and start swaying side to side. He gets lost into your eyes as you look up at him with your big doe eyes, you are in your own little word as you laugh and joke with eachother but mainly just let the music take over. You move closer and rest your head on his shoulder as he leaves a trail of kisses on your shoulder. Everyone who is sat on the tables surrounding the dance floor are all bidding that you two will be the next to walk down the aisle.
