Announcement!

if you follow my twitter you probably already know about this but I’m creating a disventure camp all stars AU based on Island of the Slaughtered and it’s called “Disventure Camp: Bleeding Tipiskaw”. Like in the original IotS, the campers show up to the camp, but a killer is on the loose and Kristal and her crew leave the campers to fend for themselves. If you wanna keep up with this AU, I’ll be posting about it in the hashtags “disventure camp: bleeding Tipiskaw” and bleeding Tipiskaw”

I plan to post the prelude to my au on Saturday, June 1st, but the victim logs will be posted every Wednesday, there will be some other info posted in between victims. This isn’t set in stone though. I might have to either push the date back or forward if I need to (although the latter is unlikely)

Disventure Camp Trailer 2# came out today!

It honestly improved its animation and voice acting so much I can’t wait for January 18th!

Anyway here are my predictions after looking at some others:

This strongly reminds me of Total Drama World Tour, so maybe they might be going to different countries for challenges. Although someone said it was going to Mexico? (Where Lake and Rosa Maria went to) so they might just be picking them up back to camp.

Next, I reckon Fiore is trying to reconcile her relationship with Alec after what happened in Season 1. And if it works, it’s going to be hard to kick them off the game.

Ellie and Gabbyyyy!!! I love them so much, but they seem worried or something. We’ve also seen this background many times before with the different contestants, so it might be like a QnA of some sort? To start tension or to answer fan questions? I don’t know to be honest.

And Lake being a third wheel 😅, James and Aiden are so wholesome and cute though! I don’t really think we need to worry about here love birds.

And Ashley with Gabby and Ellie! I reckon she’s trying to make friends and alliances so she won’t be an early boot.

Also the bi icons in jail, and sad Derek. I think they escape jail tho.

I also think the first challenge will be jumping off, or it’s like Chris Mclean’s way to the camp. Like after like daughter.

And Yul being his typical self. He was funny though.

Also at this scene it’s either Jake and Miriam are mad at Ellie and Gabby, or Tom. But by the cut of the scene I can’t tell.

I can't imagine anybody being able to physically stand watching this show unless they KNOW what they're getting into beforehand.

Like, I was warned. I was TOLD that the animation was rough and the voice acting was bad. So my expectations were low.

I will say the show, especially Season 1, surpassed my low expectations. But if I had to choose between this show and Digital Circus I'm picking Digital Circus in a heartbeat.

Though to be fair, I think I'd always pick Digital Circus if you paired it up with anything.

Aiden is the obvious choice for the winner. Sure he's been the punching bag the entire season, but he's 'the sympathetic one'. So him winning is the ultimate confidence boost for himself and he succeeds where no one else did.

And JamesxAiden make up.

James is less likely, because idk, after what he's DONE, he does NOT deserve to win at all. I personally think it'd be better for him if he DIDN'T win and Aiden won instead. But you know, I may not want a James win, but he's an option so whatever.

OR, What I HOPE happens personally:

We get a Riya win.

No I'm serious about that. I WANT IT.

I know she's the villain. But Total Drama never has a villain win. Unless it's Heather in redeemed form. Granted there's a reason for that because villain wins aren't satisfying.

BUT THEY HAVE A DAMN GOD SETUP HERE.

Riya wins. She gets the money. She can use it for her career.

But she ends up NOT being happy with it because she loses EVERYONE who cared about her in the process.

She left her country and her family, WILLINGLY, for her career. She never had anyone close with her before the show. And when she gets on the show and makes friends, they're all either ignoring her, leaving her, spending their time with other people they care about more, and oh yeah, they're all playing dirty and backstabbing each other and getting people sent to the hospital. So, as someone who is practically alien to her environment, would read the room WRONG, and decide "Screw it. My career and that money is what's important." "I said something about morality before and staying true to myself? WHERE HAS THAT GOTTEN ME? NOWHERE. I need results! I want money and fame!"

And because of that, she's lost everyone who has ever cared about her.

What Riya ACTUALLY needed, and expressed she wanted, was companionship. Loved ones. A social life. Something that could keep her in tact.

But after what she's done? Nobody will ever want her.

Oh, she has a million bucks? Who cares? IT'S JUST STACKS OF PAPER.

Oh, she MIGHT have a cult following? After we see what James is going through, fans can dump you in a heartbeat. At the end of the day, as much as support is awesome, they aren't close loved ones in your real life.

Prelude

16 years have passed since the killings on Wawanakwa. Chris McLean was never found, neither was the killer, but most believe they were responsible for his disappearance.

Including McLean’s own daughter. That’s you Kristal. 

You didn’t know what really happened to him so you assumed the same as everyone else. You didn’t know how irresponsible he was in leaving all those kids behind to save himself, you just assumed he did his best to save them. You never had a good relationship with your father, but that doesn’t mean you never admired him. You never would have assumed he was simply just a coward. 

In fact you, Kristal, admired him enough to start your own show. Or at least continue an almost canceled show. Once that succeeded you could make another season but little did you know there was a killer loose on the island and it wasn’t until you found its first victim, that’s when you and all your crew fled the camp. 

Without the campers.

I can’t say I blame you for thinking they’d be alright on their own. A campsite out in the woods is easier to escape than an island. But nonetheless you couldn’t even bother to send the bus back. You left all of them there to die. Just like your father. Who knew you’d follow his footsteps that far?

When you realized none of them escaped like you thought they would, you returned with your crew to save anyone left, but you were already too late. But it’s not too late for you Kristal. The lost may never forgive you, but maybe if you pray enough you might be granted salvation.

The first victim will be revealed June 7th, after that, all victims will be posted every Friday biweekly.
