My #1 Tip for Regressors!

So, I highly recommend this for any age regressors/dreamers, ESPECIALLY those of us who struggle to stay in headspace.

NESTING.

Nesting is a process common in neurodivergents, but basically it’s when you gather all the things you might need for an extended period of time (eg, phone, snacks, drink, tv remote, etc [more examples below]) and put it all in one place. Yeah, you’ll probably have several activities there, and you won’t use them all at once. But the point is that you won’t have to get up and disrupt your regression.

Some more examples of things you might have in your nest are:

Blanket

Stuffed animals and other toys

Coloring book/sketch book/journal

Crayons/markers/colored pencils

TV remote

Game controller/hand held console with your preferred game already inserted

Headphones

Pacifer, teethers, etc

Books

iPad, laptop, phone

Food and drinks

Chargers

You can put whatever you want in your nest, whatever makes you happy and occupied! Feel free to add suggestions in the comments too!

I also recommend getting your PJs on, charging your devices, taking your medications, using the bathroom, and finding someplace comfortable to settle before nesting. That will ensure maximum comfort!

I hope this helps some of you, it”s one of the best ways for me to stay in my regression (especially since I don’t have a Cg.). Happy regressing!

i need suggestions for middle space ‘gear’ - i.e. what stuff do you guys tend to use when you’re in middespace/ to try put yourself in it?

examples for me include backpacks, 2010s youtubers like dan and phil, 2000/ and 2010s emo music especially on CDs, brightly coloured trainers (sneakers) and converse, watching youtube on my laptop instead of my phone, reading a book in the car etc !!!!

🐣 。 How / where to hide regression gear﹒

· at the bottom of laundry baskets (with an item like a blanket or something to seperate it from the clothes above)

· places people wouldn't check (random old pencil cases, little pouches that are easy to hide, etc)

· the gap between your bed/furniture and the wall

· shoe boxes, especially with the wrapper

· a box in a closet with clothes covering it

· inside a coat/jacket pocket

· in socks

· under clothes in a dresser

· in stuffies with zips to put it in

· under your bed

· in backpacks or book bags

· a scarf or other clothing wrapping it, most effective if also put into a closet

· at the very back of drawers

· bookcases with books in front of the gear to hide it

· in pillow cases or blanket covers

note : these things work best when combined (ex. putting gear in a shoebox and then putting that at the bottom of a laundry basket)

How to Make a LEGO Rattle! (With Pictures)

step 1: gather the pieces you'll need!

here I have:

12 2x2 bricks

6 1x1 round plates

8 1x2 bricks

4 1x1 bricks (can be replaced by 1x2s but i ran out lol!)

2 1x2 tiles

1 2x4 tile

4 2x2 inverted slope bricks

step 2: the handle!

stack all the 2x2 bricks into a tower. I chose to make a double rainbow with my colours, but you can use whatever colours you want or have!

step 3: the base!

take 2 of the inverted slope bricks and place them on the top of the tower, 1x2 side down

then, take the 1x1 bricks and put them on the parts reaching off of the tower, to create a sort of C shape on the top

put the other 2 inverted slopes perpendicular to the first 2, in between the 1x1s from earlier. it should look like a plus sign (+) when viewed from the top

step 4: the sides!

put 2 1x2 bricks on top of each other, on the ends of 3 of the slopes, to begin to close in the center

step 5: the top!

the 2x4 goes across the top, from one 1x2 to the other

step 6: the filling!

the round plates go inside the center

step 7: close it!

the last 1x2 bricks go on top of each other on the open edge

step 8: finishing touches!

the 1x2 plates go on top, on the bricks that are still uncovered, to make it look nice

the finished product should look something like this:

now enjoy your rattle!
