◛ Preview: Ghilley who was secretly preparing chocolate for the manager ahead of Valentine's Day runs into Noah in the kitchen. The two quietly start making chocolate but eventually get caught by other Soul Reapers. Will they be able to outrun the reapers' endless pursuit and deliver the chocolate safely to the manager?

Noah: "This voice...!"

*jump*

Sian: "What is this crazy sweet smell...! How did kitchen get so messy? Don't tell me-"

Theo: "Chocolate...?"

Sian: "These traitors! Didn't we make an alliance not to give chocolate to manager...!"

Noah: (There was an alliance like that?! When?!)

Noah: "...Ah, I forgot again."

Licht: "Darling! No use making such a sad face!"

Licht: "I'm confiscating that chocolate!"

Sian: "Get hold of that Ghilley right now! Don't know what's that in his hands but it's huge!"

Ghilley: "Fufufu...! Do you really think I'll be caught that easily?"

Ghilley: "Abracadabra!"

Noah: "Magic?!"

Ghilley: "Escape through the back door!"

*Hu!*

Sian: "Ugh! I was taken aback by that stupid spell!"

Sian: "After him!"

*Rumble!*

Noah: "...!"

Noah: (Ghilley must have did that spell to draw attention on purpose. Thanks to Ghilley, it seems like no one is in the kitchen. I hope it works....)

Theo: "Are you gonna run away?"

Noah: "!!! Theo...?"

Theo: "I was really stupid too....How could I be relieved by making an alliance of some sort knowing full well what kind of person manager is..."

Theo: "Traitor sprouts can grow anywhere."

Noah: "Theo, I understand you're upset. But I was never aware of the alliance's existence."

Theo: "It's okay. It was my fault for being careless."

Theo: "It's time to correct mistakes."

Noah: (Aren't his eyes unusual?)

Theo: "You're not allowed to take a single step out of here."

Theo: "And that chocolate will go into the trash."

Noah: "...."

Noah: "Sorry, but I didn't make it with the intention of it being easily thrown away."

Theo: "This means business!"

Ghilley: "Good morning, mistress."

Manager: "You scared me! Ghilley? When did you come here?"

Manager: "Me...?"

◛ Chapter 4 : End of Betrayal

Ghilley: "Made for today...."

Ghilley: "Please accept the chocolate!"

*Whoosh~*

Manager: "!!!"

Manager: "Isn't that..."

Manager: "Me?!"

Ghilley: "It's a chocolate of your form, mistress."

Ghilley: "How is it?"

Manager: "Huh...? Yeah...Woah! It's really, really awesome....amazing."

Manager: (Why did he make a chocolate out of me? What day is it today? What's happening all of a sudden?)

Manager: "Hey, Ghilley. What is-"

Sian: "Found you!"

Ghilley: "This...! You finally came."

Kati: "I will...."

Kati: "I will bite you off!"

Ghilley: "No!"

Ghilley: "Kati bit the mistress!"

Manager: "Ow...! No wait, he bit the chocolate! Don't say that!"

*Plop!*

Ghilley: "Mistress' head fell off!"

Manager: "Uwaa!! I don't-"

Kati: "Kyahaha! Mission complete!"

Sian: "Well done, Kati! Justice prevailed!"

Manager: "My neck....."

Ghilley: "Ah...! The end of my chocolate I made with all my heart...!"

*Plop!*

Sian: "Hm! This is how the person who breaks the 'don't give manager the chocolate' alliance meets his end!"

Manager: "Alliance? Chocolate? Ah!!"

Manager: "Today is Valentine's Day! What should I do.....I didn't prepare anything!"

Sian: "I didn't give you anything because of that alliance, but that traitor...!"

Kati: "Hiss! If you say that, what will happen to us?!"

Ghilley: "I do not wish to speak to such a cruel destroyer."

*Swish*

Kati: "What?!"

Manager: (Ghilley....he worked so hard for it, he must be upset that the statue was destroyed before he could even show it properly.)

Manager: "I can feel the feeling Ghilley put in this, it's really great."

Ghilley: "The neck is broken though."

Manager: "It's a feeling that can't be expressed with chocolate."

Ghilley: "...."

Manager: "Thank you. It was a very nice gift."

Ghilley: "...."

Ghilley: "Fufufu...fufufu...! Fufufufufu!"

*ssing*

Kati: "Ahh! The lights are starting to melt the chocolate!"

Manager: "If we leave it like this, this place will be covered in chocolate. What do we do?"

Ghilley: "I'll have to dismantle the pieces. I feel sorry for the hard work, but...."

Kati: "Then what about the chocolate?"

Manager: "Hmm....I can't eat it all....Ah! Why don't we melt it again and distribute it to all soul reapers?"

Kati: "Big sis will give me chocolate?! I'm in favor! Kyahaha!"

Ghilley: [sulks]

◛ Chapter 5 : Happy Valentine's Day

Manager: "Happy Valentine's Day! This is for everyone!"

Sian: "Ah...It's not like I really want to give you something, you know? It's give and receive so just wait because I can't live with debt, okay?"

Kati: "No way! I'll be the first to give big sis a present!"

Ethan: "Pathetic fools."

Ethan: "...."

Ethan: "But I won't forget to give back."

Manager: "Hahaha, thank you."

Manager: "It was a bit difficult to pack everything but it felt very nice to see everyone like it."

Manager: "Next time, I must be prepared prior."

Manager: (I already gave some to Nyang Lead Manager and Housemaster Sei, there's one more left.)

Manager: (And that person's No-)

Noah: "Manager!"

Manager: "-ah! You surprised me, Noah!"

Noah: "Oh, I'm sorry."

Manager: "Where have you been? I was curious because I didn't see you all day."

Noah: "So, you've been thinking about me all day?"

Manager: "Huh? Does this look like it...? It's not lik-"

Noah: "No?"

Manager: "Ahh! Don't look at me like that while knowing everything! It's foul!"

Noah: "Hahaha! Interesting."

Manager: (If you talk to Noah every day, your heart will stop like this...!)

Noah: "...."

Manager: "...? What?"

Noah: "How was your day?"

Manager: "Today? Hmm, well it started with chocolate and ended with chocolate. I've been busy making chocolates for everyone...."

Noah: "Then manager spent her entire day for the sake of the reapers?"

Manager: "Hm, is it? It wasn't that big thing though."

Noah: "Well then, shall I give some of my time to the manager from here on."

Manager: "Huh..?"

Manager: (Is it because of today's mood? Why am i suddenly so nervous talking to Noah?)

Noah: "So, um, with me-"

*Huk-*

Noah: "!!! Did you just try to escape?"

Manager: "No! Did-Did I? No, why would I...? Ahahaha...!"

Noah: "I'm hurt...."

Manager: "Sor-sorry! It wasn't intentional...I don't know why I..."

Noah: "Then, as an apology, listen to my one request."

Manager: "What...what is it?"

Noah: "Run away with me."

Manager: "?! Run away? What do you-"

"Manager!"

Manager: "?"

Sian: "I brought you the gift!"

Theo: "Miss Manager! I too...."

Theo: "!"

Noah: "!"

Theo: "Noah!!"

Manager: (Theo? I don't know why but he seems extremely angry...? Did he fight with Noah?)

*snatch*

Manager: "?!"

Noah: "You'll do me a favor, yes?"

Noah: "If you don't, I'll be sad."

Manager: "Ack...this is against the rules!"

Noah: "Huh?"

Manager: "O-Okay! I'll go!"

Sian: "He ran away! Noah!! I'm not letting you off so easily!!"

Ethan: 

Ethan is the king of keeping an eye out for you and often acts before you have the chance to knock something over or trip, helping you keep your body clear of bruises and cuts that happen at your weakest moments. He tries to scold you and tell you to pay extra attention, to focus on what you’re doing without getting distracted, but that doesn’t always help. He’s quietly resigned himself to his fate of taking care of a clumsy person who he never wants to see hurt, working overtime on this job while ignoring the teasing of others who can tell he’s doing it out of the kindness of his heart (that they don’t always think he has). 

Nine: 

If Nine sees you doing anything that might get you hurt he urges you to stop, grabbing ahold of you before you fall on your face or calling out for someone else who’s closer to grab onto you before you get hurt. He seems exhausted by how easily you seem to tumble over but it’s all born from worry as he doesn’t want you to end up seriously hurting yourself because you weren’t paying attention or your balance was off. He tries to stay directly by your side whenever you’re in the same room together just in case he has to save you from making a mess of a poor inanimate object that couldn’t have possibly moved into your path. 

Theo: 

Being clumsy also meant you had a tendency to knock things over or not fix things as neatly as he would like, making Theo take on most of the work when it comes to cleaning up after you. He can’t hold it against you as he knows you’re not purposely clumsy but he wonders if there’s some way to help you help yourself so that chaos doesn’t follow you every time you walk in a room. He’ll go to ask you to do something for him but quickly realizes it’ll be better to do it himself but he’s quite proud of you whenever you handle a task without fumbling.

omg cuz no i used to be obsessed with afterl!fe . i LOVED theo and verine (also noah <3) you can bet i SOBBED when the servers shut down. i still dont know why tho and im also really sad that there isnt more fan-produced content to compensate for how much i miss the game </3

Afterl!fe was the reason I began my blog! I’m still so sad it shut down and that there isn’t more fan works created for it. T^T and the termination letters that all the boys wrote to us. Those were so heartbreaking!! I wish they would have given us an explanation as to why it happened, but many theorized it was because they weren’t making enough money. Either way, I will forever miss my beloved soul reapers.

Aaaa you have good taste!!! I loved Theo omg!!!! The fish scene with Cyrille when he’s like, “Do you like fish? :)” and then proceeds to smash the fish into visceral shreds and then go, “oh, oops! I must not have did it correctly because it’s my first time.” THAT HAD ME SO :O !!!! Meanwhile, Cyrille is horrified LOL. Or that time when Nine was playing the piano with the manager and he was thinking, Only I should be allowed to play for the manager. AAAAAAA I LOVED HIM SO MUCH… truthfully, the Genshin fic “Click” was actually intended to be a yandere Theo fic. I had half of it written with Theo and the other characters who played roles in it (Sian, Day, Mori, Quincy, Verine), but I could never finish it and I didn’t want to just abandon the idea. So it became the Genshin yandere who did it? fic you see on my blog today! :D

AND VERINE OMG!!!!! VERINE MY MOST BELOVED AAAAAAA!!! He was so cute. I also had a yandere fic planned for him in which he was a sickly Victorian man living in solitude amongst the flowers in his greenhouse when he spies a kind noble lady from the window and proceeds to fall in love. <3

And Noah… he was so !!!! Looking so very disrespectfully. 🫣 I don’t remember too much about his story, but I think he wanted to become a police officer in his next life. Either way, Noah was so handsome and sweet and I like him a lot.

I also really liked Ell! His energy and optimism was really infectious. He was such a sweetheart. (*´꒳`*) I still have these screenshots of when you pick him and then when he introduces us to SNS:

Hello there sweetie!! If it's alright, could I request what theo would be like with a manager crush who's very affectionate and loving? Thank you in advance!

🧹 Theo is not the type to watch from afar. He has to have whatever he wants and he'll do anything to get it. After a few interactions with the manager, Theo decides that he wants to spend the rest of his afterlife with the manager, so that's exactly what he's going to do.

🧹 Theo craves their compliments. He does anything he can to get the manager's eyes on him. It starts with little things, like doing a perfect job during errands. Then, he cleans the entire building on a daily basis (anyone who does not comply will have to face severe consequences). He even tries his hand at cooking delicious meals. But it has to be perfect, or else it was all for nothing. After all, the manager is perfect, so they should have nothing less than perfection.

🧹 Although Theo cannot stand physical contact with other people (too many germs!), he makes an exception for the manager. He loves their small gestures such as placing a hand on his back, tapping his shoulder, and patting his head. The manager was just too adorable to deny. If he had it his way, he'd keep a portable version of the manager in his pocket so he can have their endless touch.

🧹 As Theo crushes harder, things get more intense. He begins clearing out all the people that could steal the manager from him (so basically all the reapers). He'll pay each of them a visit, giving a subtle threats to stay away from the manager. The smart ones just agree with him, but the stubborn ones require a not-so-subtle demonstration of Theo's wrath before they submit to his will. Now there's nothing stopping him from getting the manager.

🧹 As everyone distances themselves from the manager, Theo swoops in. If the manager is feeling sad by the sudden isolation, Theo will provide them with endless support. He'll take their hand and tell the manager to ignore the reapers' petty behavior. As long as Theo is around, the manager doesn't need anyone else. Since he doesn't want the manager to be sad for long, he switches the topic to something more light.

🧹 Theo spends all of his time with the manager. Whenever he's not on a mission or doing errands, he's glued to the manager. Does the manager notice? Yes, but they're just glad that there's a reaper who isn't ignoring them. After all, he's so kind and considerate-- almost like their dream man. The seeds of love have finally been planted in their head and Theo watches as they slowly fall in love with him.
